    • Flirts with double-double
Zubac chipped in 19 points (8-11 FG, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's 101-90 loss to the Mavericks in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Zubac turned in a strong effort Friday, flirting with a double-double. He added a pair of defensive stats for good measure, delivering his best performance of the postseason. Now trailing 1-2 in the series, the Clippers are going to need Zubac to be more consistent moving forward, something he has struggled with this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:29 pm
    • Puts up 22 points in Game 3 loss
Reaves ended with 22 points (8-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and four steals across 41 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 loss to the Nuggets in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Reaves had two subpar showings in the first two games of the series, and even though he bounced back in Game 3, his efforts were not enough to lift the Lakers to victory. Reaves will aim to replicate these numbers in Game 4 on Saturday, as the Lakers need to win to avoid a first-round exit. Reaves is averaging 14.7 points per game in the series while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from deep. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:18 am

    • Sniffs triple-double in Game 3
Jokic accumulated 24 points (9-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 15 rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 victory over the Lakers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: It seemed effortless at times, but Jokic once again finished just shy of posting a triple-double, despite dealing with the imposing threat of Anthony Davis on both ends of the court throughout the entire contest. Jokic has posted seven straight double-doubles dating back to the regular season, and he's averaging 27.7 points, 15.7 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game so far in the series against the Lakers. • Carries Denver to Game 3 win
Gordon posted 29 points (12-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 win over the Lakers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Nikola Jokic finished just one assist away from a triple-double, and Jamal Murray had another impressive showing, but the Nuggets came through in Game 3 thanks to the energy and tenacity of Gordon, who stepped his game up when Denver needed him the most, especially in the third quarter. The 29-point output was Gordon's second-best scoring mark of the entire campaign, and he's averaging a solid 18.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game through the first three games of the series against the Lakers. • Austin Reaves records 22 points, four steals
Austin Reaves accumulated 22 points (8-of-17 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, four steals, and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Nuggets.

Advice: Reaves was one of three Lakers starters to score at least 22 points, but that wasn’t enough to avoid an 11th straight loss to the Nuggets. D’Angelo Russell going scoreless and Rui Hachimura finishing with five points certainly didn’t help matters for the Lakers, who need a win on Saturday to extend their season. Reaves matched his point total from the first two games in Game 3 while accumulating four steals. That’s positive momentum he can take into Game 4; whether or not it matters is another conversation, given Denver’s mastery of the Lakers. Rotoworld Thursday, 10:28 pm

    • Nikola Jokic posts 24/15/9/1 stat line in Game 3
Nikola Jokic amassed 24 points (9-of-13 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 15 rebounds, nine assists, and one steal in 39 minutes in Thursday’s 112-105 win over the Lakers.

Advice: All three of Denver’s frontcourt starters accounted for at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, with Jokic finishing one assist shy of a triple-double. The Nuggets have now won the last 11 games they’ve played against the Lakers, and it feels like a matter of “when” they’ll end this series rather than “if.” Game 4 is on Saturday night, and Jokic could once again approach 40 minutes as the Nuggets go for the sweep. • Aaron Gordon records 29/15/3/1 line in Game 3 win
Aaron Gordon shot 12-of-18 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line in Thursday’s 112-105 win over the Lakers, accounting for 29 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 41 minutes.

Advice: Gordon was outstanding in Game 3, leading Denver to its 11th straight win over the Lakers (regular season and playoffs). He established playoff career-highs in points and rebounds, and five of his 15 boards were of the offensive variety. All three of Denver’s frontcourt starters scored at least 20 points, with Michael Porter Jr. adding 20 along with 10 rebounds, three assists, and two 3-pointers. Denver will look to close out the Lakers on Saturday night. Rotoworld Thursday, 9:43 pm
    • Posts triple-double in Game 2 win
Jokic closed Monday's 101-99 win over the Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with 27 points (9-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 20 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 41 minutes.

Advice: Jamal Murray might have grabbed most of the headlines after draining a buzzer-beating, game-winning shot to lift Denver to victory, but Jokic's contributions can't be overlooked, as the MVP favorite posted a triple-double while dealing with the menace of Anthony Davis on both ends of the court. Jokic extended an impressive run that has seen him record a double-double or a triple-double in each of his last 16 games, a span in which he's averaging 28.3 points, 13.4 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game. • Nikola Jokic records 27/20/10/2 line in Game 2
Nikola Jokic finished Monday’s 101-99 win over the Lakers with 27 points (9-of-16 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), 20 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

Advice: Jokic recorded his 17th career playoff triple-double in Game 2, with the stat line including 20 of the Nuggets’ 45 rebounds on the night. Anthony Davis may have outscored him (32-27), but the Joker’s ability to impact games as a playmaker sets him apart from the competition. The Nuggets have now won the last ten meetings between the teams, and it’s fair to wonder if the streak has affected the psyche of the Lakers. The Nuggets visit Los Angeles for Game 3 on Thursday.
