According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Mike Conley (right Achilles soreness) is out for Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Nuggets.

Advice: While Conley wasn’t added to the injury report until Tuesday afternoon, Timberwolves coach Chris Finch said his point guard was injured on the final play of Sunday’s Game 4 defeat. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Nickeil Alexander-Walker being the most likely candidate to fill it. While Jordan McLaughlin and Monte Morris are traditional point guards, neither defends as well as NAW. Jaylen Brown lit up the Cavaliers with 27 points (9-of-15 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist, two triples and five turnovers on Monday.

Advice: Aside from a “subpar” performance in their Game 2 loss, Brown has been fantastic this series. He has now scored at least 25 points in five games this postseason, three of which have been in this series. The Jays have been unstoppable, and there’s no reason to think that they won’t stay hot in Game 5 with the series shifting back to Boston. Securing this win will give them a chance to close out the series at home on Wednesday and make a return to the conference finals for the third straight year and the fourth time in the last five years. Jaylen Brown accumulated 28 points on 13-of-17 shooting in Saturday’s win over the Cavs, adding nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and two three-pointers across 41 minutes.

Advice: Brown finished behind only Jayson Tatum (33 points) for team lead in the scoring department, and the former is Boston’s leading scorer thus far into the playoffs with an average of 24.2. He dropped 32 in Game 1 and “fell off” a bit in Game 2 with 19 points on just 7-of-17 shooting, so it was nice to see a bounce-back effort in this one. He and Tatum have scored at least 25 points in a playoff game 14 times, trailing only Larry Bird and Kevin McHale (17 such games) for most in Celtics history. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:11 pm

Gobert tallied six points (3-5 FG, 0-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 27 minutes in Friday's 117-90 loss to the Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Gobert returned in Game 3 after missing the previous contest due to the birth of his child, putting forth a quiet outing in Minnesota's first loss of the postseason. Gobert failed to reach double figures in both points and rebounds, not tallying 10 or more boards for the third time in the postseason and not crossing the double-digit scoring mark for the third time. In order for Minnesota to bounce back in Sunday's Game 4, Gobert may have to put together a much stronger showing than he did Friday in Minneapolis. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:14 pm

Tim Hardaway Jr. amassed 17 points (6-of-10 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, and two 3-pointers in 19 minutes in Thursday’s 119-110 win over Oklahoma City.

Advice: After missing the last four games of Dallas’ first-round series against the Clippers with a sprained ankle, Hardaway offered little production in Tuesday’s second-round opener against Oklahoma City. He stepped up when needed in Game 2, scoring 17 points on a night when Kyrie Irving shot 2-of-8 from the field. Hardaway and PJ Washington combined to score 46 points, so Dallas heads home for Game 3 in a tie series instead of sitting in a 0-2 hole. The Mavericks host Game 3 on Saturday afternoon.
