Grayson Allen (ankle) does not return after injury
Grayson Allen (right ankle sprain) played 17 minutes in Tuesday’s 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves, recording a line of three points (1-of-2 FGs), three rebounds, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 17 minutes.
Advice: Having sprained his right ankle in Game 1 on Saturday, Allen was initially questionable for Tuesday’s game. Unfortunately, he rolled the ankle early in the third quarter while attempting to block a shot. While the Suns announced that Allen was questionable to return, he never did. The concern now is potential swelling as the team flies to Phoenix for Game 3 on Friday, and Allen may not be a lock to play. Eric Gordon’s minutes increased with Allen sidelined, and he finished with 15 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes.
