• Nicolas Batum scores season-high 20 with 6 triples
Nicolas Batum provided a boost off the bench with 20 points (7-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, one block and six triples against the Heat on Wednesday.

Advice: Batum hasn’t been much more than a veteran rotation piece that can come away with some defensive stats and threes this season, but he stepped up in the biggest way possible in this game. He made a big play late with a block on a 3-point attempt from Tyler Herro, and he was able to set new season-highs with 20 points and six 3-pointers. He has started some this season, though he will continue to come off the bench as long as the team is fully healthy. It’s unlikely, but he’ll look to keep the heroics going against New York. • Jaime Jaquez Jr. chips in 15/5/2/1 line vs. 76ers
Jaime Jaquez Jr. provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and two triples against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Advice: Miami drafted Jaquez with the idea that he would be able to help them in the postseason, since he is an older rookie. He showed that he was NBA-ready throughout the regular season, so it shouldn’t be shocking that he stepped up in their first game of the postseason. In 22 minutes off the bench, he was able to contribute statistically across the board and finish as a +8 in a game they lost. He should continue to play a large reserve role for them on Friday as they try to make it into the playoffs. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:14 pm
  • KJ Martin (toe) active Wednesday vs. Heat
KJ Martin (left toe contusion) is listed as active for the 76ers’ game against the Heat on Wednesday.

Advice: Martin will be back in the mix to play on Wednesday but isn’t likely to impact fantasy basketball much given the role he usually slots into when Philadelphia’s veteran wings are healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:49 pm
  • Available for Wednesday
Martin (toe) will be available for Wednesday's game against the Heat.

Advice: Martin will return from a three-game absence and will likely be working with minutes in the teens. He's not the most attractive fantasy option. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:34 pm
  • KJ Martin (toe) probable Wednesday vs. 76ers
KJ Martin (left toe contusion) is listed as probable for Wednesday’s 76ers-Heat contest.

Advice: Martin appears set to return from a three-game hiatus on Wednesday. The 76ers wing isn’t likely to play a significant role with Tobias Harris, Kelly Oubre, and Nic Batum healthy, though. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:49 pm
  • Expected to play Wednesday
Martin (toe) is expected to play Wednesday against the Heat, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Advice: Martin is still being listed as questionable on the injury report, but he was able to get through the team's morning shootaround, so it looks like he'll be out there barring a setback during warmups. However, he'll likely only be operating with minutes in the teens, so he's not a great target in fantasy hoops. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:39 pm
  • Returns to practice
Gordon (migraine) participated in Tuesday's and Wednesday's practices, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Gordon missed Phoenix's regular-season finale due to a migraine. However, the veteran guard's return to practice is a good sign of his availability for Saturday's Game 1 against Minnesota. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:19 pm
  • Doesn't practice, unlikely to play
Coach J.B. Bickerstaff said Wade (knee) didn't practice Wednesday and is unlikely to play in Saturday's Game 1 against the Magic, Evan Dammarell of FearTheSword.com reports.

Advice: Wade carved out a substantial role when the Cavaliers dealt with multiple injuries, mainly to Evan Mobley, earlier in the season, but he hasn't played since March 8 due to a knee injury. In Wade's likely absence, Georges Niang and Marcus Morris are candidates for a few extra minutes off the bench. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:52 pm
  • Jontay Porter receives lifetime ban for gambling
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that Jontay Porter has received a lifetime ban for disclosing confidential information to bettors.

Advice: The investigation found that Porter provided health information to bettors that led them to place large wagers on his performances. The bets included successful wagers on the Raptors losing and Porter underperforming, which triggered the investigation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:46 am
