  • No minutes restriction for Alan Anderson Sun
Alan Anderson (ankle) will not have a minutes restriction for Sunday's Game 1 against the Hawks.

Advice: Head coach Lionel Hollins said that Anderson "looked fine" during Sunday's shootaround, so he should slot into his usual role getting around 20 minutes off the bench. Anderson's return to the rotation will likely hurt the value of Bojan Bogdanovic. Rotoworld.com

  • Mike Scott (back) will be available Sunday
Hawks' head coach Mike Budenholzer said that Mike Scott will be available for Game 1 on Sunday.

Advice: Scott will provide the Hawks with some solid depth, but with Paul Millsap and Al Horford healthy, he's not a great guy to target in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Tyreke Evans (knee) questionable for Game 2
Tyreke Evans (left knee bone bruise) is officially being listed as questionable for Game 2 against the Warriors on Monday.

Advice: Evans said that he's still not able to run at full speed, and that he will be a game-time decision for Game 2. He's expected to test his knee during Monday's pregame warmups to see if he is able to push off his left leg and attack the basket without experiencing any pain, so it sounds like he'll be a true game-time call. If he's unable to go, Jrue Holiday and Norris Cole will be asked to fill the void. Rotoworld.com

  • Paul George will play some PF next season
Larry Bird said that he would like Paul George to spend some time at the power forward position next season.

Advice: "David [West] is our starter, but when we go smaller we'd like to see Paul maybe play some '4' and you know everybody says, 'You'll have a problem on the defensive end,' well, I don't think so," Bird said. "He can guard about anybody, and then on the other end, it's a major plus for us." It sounds like the Pacers would like to trim down West's minutes a bit next season, which will work to the benefit of George. Head coach Frank Vogel said that Pacers' medical staff are expecting George to make a full recovery, and he should be back to being a first-round selection next season. Rotoworld.com

Bulls' head coach Tom Thibodeau said that Kirk Hinrich (knee) is improving, but he's unsure about his status for Game 2 against the Bucks on Monday.

  • Tiago Splitter (calf) is a game-time decision
Tiago Splitter (calf) is a game-time call against the Clippers on Sunday according to head coach Gregg Popovich.

Advice: Splitter missed the last six games of the regular season because of the calf issue, but he did go through a light practice on Friday and was seen getting up some free throws at shootaround. The Spurs could really use his presence in the paint against DeAndre Jordan, but it looks like he will be a true game-time decision. If Splitter can't play, Aron Baynes is expected to start at center. Rotoworld.com

Tyreke Evans (left knee bone bruise) said he will be a game-time decision for Game 2 against the Warriors on Monday.

Advice: Evans will not practice on Sunday, but he did say he was feeling a lot better and he wasn't walking with a limp. For what it's worth, the injury doesn't sound too serious and Evans said he will find a way to play. Expect an update after shootaround on Monday, but Norris Cole and Jrue Holiday would have to step up if Evans can't give it a go. Rotoworld.com

  • Amir Johnson will see consistent minutes
Head coach Dwane Casey said that Amir Johnson will play the same amount of minutes he usually does even if he continues to come off the bench behind Tyler Hansbrough.

Advice: Casey was impressed with Johnson after he scored a team-high 18 points with eight boards, one assist and one block vs. the Wizards on Saturday, and the fact that he played 34 minutes speaks volumes. Hansbrough will likely continue to start for now, but he saw just 13 minutes of action on Saturday and he will probably have a short leash from here on out. Rotoworld.com

According to teammate Zach Randolph, Jeff Green's back is showing improvement.

Advice: Green is still listed as questionable, but all indications point to him playing vs. the Blazers on Sunday. • Tony Allen (hamstring) will play on Sunday
Tony Allen (hamstring) is expected to play vs. the Blazers on Sunday according to head coach Dave Joerger, though he is still listed as a game-time decision.

Advice: This is exciting news for the Grizzlies considering Allen has missed their last nine games, but he will be back in the rotation tonight. His minutes will likely be held in check for obvious reasons, but his return could reduce the workload of Courtney Lee, Jeff Green (back) and Vince Carter. Advice: Conley missed the last four games of the regular season, and even though he is still experiencing some discomfort, he is expected to be in the starting lineup tonight. Joerger admitted that there will likely be some rust, but it's possible that Conley could see close to his normal allotment of minutes. • DeAndre Jordan not worried about free throws
DeAndre Jordan expects to spend plenty of time at the free throw line against the Spurs, but said that he wasn't worried about it.

Advice: "It’s happened all season, and I feel like a lot of the games that they’ve done it we’ve won," Jordan said in regards to teams intentionally putting him at the foul line. "I’m not really worried about it. When it does happen, which I know it will, I’ll just go to the line and shoot the basketball. It’s not something that I’m dreading, but I’m prepared for it. I’m ready." Despite shooting just 39.7 percent from the line this season, the Clippers are 9-0 when he shoots at least 14 free throws. Rotoworld.com

LeBron James showered praise on teammate Kyrie Irving and said that the sky was the limit for him.

Advice: "I think the sky is the limit for that kid and his talent, his work ethic, the fact that he loves to continue to learn about how to play the game, I think the sky is the limit for him and like you said, the kid is 23-years old, man," James said. "And to do the thing's that he's doing in our league right now, it's been awesome to be a part of it with him." Irving will be playing in his first playoff game vs. the Celtics on Sunday, and it will be encouraging for him to know that he will be going to battle with James by his side. Rotoworld.com

  • Tobias Harris not worried about free agency
Tobias Harris said that he is not worried about becoming a restricted free agent in the summer, as he knows the Magic will have the final say whether or not he will stay in Orlando.

Advice: "I don’t really worry. I trust in God and I know that He has the ultimate plan for me,’’ Harris said. "You get a little nervous at times, but I think everything is going to work out for me. I wanted to go out and have a successful year and a great year and I think I’ve put in the work. It’s in the teams hands with whatever wants to be done. All I can do is really sit back and be patient at this time." Harris is expected to draw some serious interest in July, most notably from the Knicks, and it will be interesting to see if the Magic are wiling to match any offer. • Thibodeau praises Derrick Rose Saturday
Head coach Tom Thibodeau praised Derrick Rose and said that all of his injuries have just made him stronger.

Advice: "Obviously, we're a much better team with Derrick," Thibodeau said. "He has been through a grind. We're very pleased to have him back. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a long run of health for him. Time does go by quickly. You're talking about a guy who is sort of now in the middle of his career. He has been through a lot. Early on, you're 22 and the MVP of the league and there weren't many bumps in the road. He has hit a few bumps and gotten through those. The fact he has, I think, has made him stronger." Rose was excellent in a win vs. the Bucks on Saturday with 23 points, seven assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers, and it didn't look his knees were an issue at all. He will look to to keep building momentum in Game 2 on Monday. Rotoworld.com

  • Luigi Datome hopes to remain a Celtic
Luigi Datome, who is set to become a free agent in the summer, is hopeful that he will return to Boston next season.

Advice: "It’s really early now," Datome said. "I hope during my free agency, hopefully the Celtics, hopefully other teams make a call or offer, because it means that this month, I did something good. For sure, I would like to be involved, feeling like part of the team, not just on the roster. It’s really early now and the focus is on the playoffs." Head coach Brad Stevens has made it clear that he likes Datome's game, and Celtic fans can't get enough of him. All signs point to Datome returning to Boston next season, but he still doesn't figure to be a key part of the rotation after seeing just 12.8 minutes per game during the month of April. He can be viewed as a 3-point specialist in very deep leagues leading into next season. Rotoworld.com

  • Devin Harris had issue with tape on his toe
Devin Harris (toe) said the tape job on his left big toe was a problem with his second toe.

Advice: He had surgery on that toe back in the summer of 2013, so the Mavs will have to figure out a new way to wrap Harris' toe in Game 2. This doesn't sound quite as bad as a normal aggravation, but Harris will likely be limited in some capacity for the rest of the series. J.J. Barea will play a bit more. Rotoworld.com

  • James Harden scores 24 points with 11 dimes
James Harden handled his business against the Mavs on Saturday during a 118-108 win, scoring 24 points with two rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 39 minutes.

Advice: It's the first double-double of his playoff career and Harden just killed the Mavs at the line, making 15-of-17 from the charity stripe. The Mavs also having injuries to two wings, Devin Harris and Chandler Parsons, is really going to hurt because of how Harden draws so many fouls. This was far from Harden's best game, so the Rockets have to be pleased they won by double-digits tonight. They host the Mavs again on Tuesday for Game 2. Rotoworld.com

  • Dwight Howard battles foul trouble in win
Dwight Howard played just 17 minutes due to foul trouble against the Mavs on Saturday with 11 points, five boards, one steal and five blocks.

Advice: If not for the foul trouble, he would have played more. The Rockets didn't really go to Howard in the post much, but Howard looked healthy with respect to his knee. He should be closer to 30 minutes in Game 2 on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com

  • Terrence Jones scores 19 points in 34 minutes
Terrence Jones made 6-of-15 from the field and 7-of-11 from the line for 19 points against the Mavs on Saturday with nine rebounds, six assists and one steal.

Advice: The shot total is almost shocking and this was the first time in Jones' career he's had more than 10 shots from the field and from the line. Jones saw a little more playing time than expected because of Dwight Howard getting into foul trouble, but he's still a good bet to play over 30 minutes per game in this series. Jones' season flew a little under the radar due to injuries, so he'll be a difference maker if he can stay on the court. Rotoworld.com

  • Trevor Ariza has a dub-dub in great game
Trevor Ariza was a wonderful two-way player against the Mavs on Saturday with 12 points, 10 boards, six assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Advice: The points don't tell the story. Ariza was a terror on defense and getting a double-double with six dimes went a long way. On the injury side of things, Ariza did have some cramping in both of his calves and he did receive some treatment. There's been no indication that he'll need to miss time going forward and this hasn't been a habitual problem for him. We're expecting him to be ready for Tuesday. Rotoworld.com

  • Corey Brewer steps it up down the stretch
Corey Brewer turned it on down the stretch against the Mavs on Saturday with 15 points, one assist and three 3-poiners in 24 minutes.

Advice: He killed the Mavs in the fourth quarter with all three 3-pointers coming in that frame. Brewer's versatility at both wing spots should help him get playing time in the 20s. Trevor Ariza did have some cramping issues, but there's no need to worry about him. Rotoworld.com

  • Tyson Chandler double-doubles vs. Houston
Tyson Chandler double-doubled against the Rockets on Saturday with 11 points, 18 boards, two steals and one block in 31 minutes.

Advice: The Mavs went small with four wings next to Chandler and they would have been torched on both ends without him. Chandler had himself a fantastic April, averaging 13.1 points, 12.7 boards, 1.0 blocks and 0.3 steals on 75.6 percent from the field. It's fair to expect a double-double in each game during this series. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis scores just 16 points vs. HOU
Monta Ellis scored 16 points against the Rockets on Saturday with four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 5-of-16 from the field.

Advice: This was not Monta's best game outside of a brilliant buzzer beater to end the third quarter. Ellis was able to attack the basket, but he just couldn't finish over the Rockets' size. Expect him to have a better game in Game 2 on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com

  • Chandler Parsons looks fine following injury
Chandler Parsons battled a knee injury against the Rockets on Saturday, finishing with 10 points, six boards, two assists and one turnover in 37 minutes.

Advice: The Houston crowd must have remembered Parsons' famous picture with Mark Cuban over the summer when he signed a contract because they booed him throughout the game. Additionally, Parsons missed about 10 minutes in real time due to an aggravation to his knee injury, but he looked fine once he came back. The Mavs went in with a plan to monitor Parsons' minutes, but he likely would have been around 40 had he not missed time. The good news for Parsons is that he's off until Tuesday for Game 2. • Rajon Rondo scores 15 points with five dimes
Rajon Rondo scored 15 points against the Rockets on Saturday with five assists, no rebounds, one 3-pointer and one turnover in 27 minutes.

Advice: He turned in a very nice second quarter, but Rondo was a little bashful with his shot in the paint. His defense was also a problem for much of this game. If Devin Harris' toe injury is going to cost him some games, there should be more minutes for Rondo. Even with the extra playing time, Rondo is really going to have to step it up and he'll also need to be better on the glass. Rotoworld.com

Devin Harris aggravated his toe injury on Saturday and is doubtful to return.

Advice: He was listed as questionable to go into this game and he suffered the aggravation in the second half. Harris seemed to be bothered by the injury throughout the game and he could miss some time. If that's the case, J.J. Barea would be looking at more playing time. Chandler Parsons went to the locker room in the second quarter on Saturday and has returned to action.

Derrick Rose looked 100 percent during a 103-91 win over the Bucks on Saturday, scoring 23 points with seven assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He made 9-of-16 from the field and made the most of the Bucks not bringing double-teams to him. Rose said multiple times in the post-game interview on ESPN that he had open looks because the Bucks didn't double, so expect that message to be received loud and clear in Game 2 on Monday. Tyreke Evans (knee) said he "felt a little pop" in his left knee on Saturday and will have an MRI Saturday night.

Advice: Coach Monty Williams said this is a new injury for Evans. The Pelicans were just starting to get healthy, but now they might be without their top scoring guard. • Tyreke Evans (knee bruise) will not return
Tyreke Evans suffered a left knee bruise on Saturday and will not return.

Advice: Evans' main issue with respect to injuries has been his left ankle, but he did have a knee injury back in December and he's had some other knee problems in the past. The Pelicans still went with Norris Cole to start the second half, so coach Monty Williams clearly wants to keep Jrue Holiday in the second unit. Advice: Rick Carlisle said on Thursday that Harris would play, so we're going to assume he's closer to probable than questionable. However, if he's forced to sit, it will open up minutes for J.J. Barea and Raymond Felton. Barea makes for the better daily league target sans Harris. Rotoworld.com

  • Mike Conley, Tony Allen practice on Friday
Mike Conley (foot) and Tony Allen (hamstring) practiced on Friday.

Advice: Conley expects to play and he'll likely be a game-time decision on Sunday. He has been able to do some pre-game stuff, so keeping him out the last week is probably somewhat precautionary. He'll be a very important piece for the Grizzlies at home considering the struggles of Damian Lillard on defense. Beno Udrih would move to the bench. Rotoworld.com

Alan Anderson (ankle) said he'll be good to go for Game 1 against the Hawks on Sunday.

  • Tony Allen likely to be a game-time call
Tony Allen (hamstring) is likely going to be a game-time decision for Game 1 on Sunday and did go through practice on Friday.

Advice: The good news is that he expects to play. "I'm gonna try and test it," Allen said. "I've been amped up mentally. Physically I haven't. I'm just trying to get healthy as we go forward." He might have a minutes limit and could come off the bench. With Allen back, Jeff Green, Vince Carter and Courtney Lee lose some appeal. Rotoworld.com

  • Kirk Hinrich (knee) doesn't practice Friday
Kirk Hinrich (knee) was unable to practice Friday, and his status is uncertain for Game 1 on Saturday against the Bucks.

Advice: If Hinrich can't go, Derrick Rose and Aaron Brooks will split most of his minutes. Hinrich is a solid defender, but he doesn't really bring a lot to the stat sheet, so he's not really a factor in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose (knee) practices on Friday
Derrick Rose (knee) was a full participant during Friday's practice, and he will play in Game 1 against the Bucks on Saturday.

Advice: Rose will take the court in a playoff series for the first time since the 2011-12 season on Saturday, and it appears that the minor left knee soreness that caused him to miss the second half of Wednesday's regular-season finale will be a non-issue going forward. Any news regarding Rose's troublesome knees is going to make the headlines, but a deep playoff push behind a healthy Rose will at least temporarily silence the critics. Tom Thibodeau said that Rose will play around the same amount of minutes he did towards the end of the regular-season, so it sounds like he'll still be with a minutes limit. Rotoworld.com

  • Tiago Splitter goes through light practice
Spurs' head coach Gregg Popovich said that Tiago Splitter (calf) went through a light practice on Friday, but he would not commit to his availability for Game 1 against the Clippers on Sunday.

Advice: "If he plays, he plays," said Popovich of Splitter. Splitter is likely headed for a game-time decision on Sunday, but if he's forced to sit, there will be more minutes for Tim Duncan, Boris Diaw, and Aron Baynes. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Alan Anderson (ankle) practices on Friday
Alan Anderson (ankle) was a full participant during Friday's practice.

Advice: Anderson didn't play in the Nets' final seven games of the season, but it sounds like there's a chance he's ready to go for Game 1 when the Nets open up their first round series against the Hawks on Sunday. His return to action would likely take away some minutes from Bojan Bogdanovic. Rotoworld.com

  • MRI on Paul George reveals strained left calf
An MRI revealed a strained left calf for Paul George, and the injury is obviously not being considered serious.

Advice: George said he felt a pop in his calf during Wednesday's regular-season finale, but the MRI confirmed the initial diagnosis of a calf strain, which is not a serious injury. PG-13 will have the entire offseason to get things right, and all signs are pointing towards George being back at 100 percent next season. Head coach Frank Vogel implied during his exit interview that the Pacers would like to up their Pace next season, playing some small ball with George at the four-spot, which is a positive sign for his fantasy value. • Derrick Rose dealing with left knee soreness
Derrick Rose is dealing with minor left knee soreness.

Advice: The soreness is in the knee in which Rose tore his ACL back in 2012 and not the one needing surgery for a torn meniscus. "It's nothing serious at all," Rose said. "I'm just being cautious. I'm used to knee injuries and my knees being sore. It's just that it was the last game and we didn't want it to linger into a couple of more days." The Bulls are downplaying the issue, which isn't a surprise. Still, Rose should be good to go for Game 1 against the Bucks on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

  • Howard's minutes to increase for playoffs
Dwight Howard's minutes restriction will rise to around 32 minutes per game for Game 1 of the playoffs.

Advice: Howard should eventually be without a minutes restriction at some point, but he should get the most floor time he's seen since returning from his knee injury during Game 1 against the Mavericks on Saturday. • Lionel hopes Anderson can return for playoffs
Lionel Hollins said that he was hopeful that Alan Anderson (ankle) could return for the playoffs, but he also doesn't know where Anderson is at in his recovery.

Advice: Anderson spent the final seven games of the season on the sidelines, but the Nets don't have their first playoff game until Sunday, giving him an additional three days to get things right. Hollins likes Anderson's defense, so if he is able to go, he'd likely siphon away some minutes from Bojan Bogdanovic. Rotoworld.com

  • Paul George unsure if he'll undergo an MRI
Paul George (calf) is unsure if he'll undergo an MRI on his left calf after leaving Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies.

Advice: While George will now wait to determine the extent of his injury, the silver lining is that it did not involve his surgically-repaired right knee. "Just came off a screen and felt a pop, but they looked at it and it's nothing more than just a calf strain," George said, slowly. "It wasn't a knee injury but it's tough, you work so hard in rehab and have something else pop up. The good thing is, I know we've got a long summer and a lot to look forward to." • Kyrie Irving scores nine in 18 minutes
Kyrie Irving played 18 minutes against the Wizards on Wednesday during a 113-108 win, adding two rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Kyrie is in the playoffs and he'll be a favorite among most people to be a point guard in the NBA Finals. Irving's season was truly awesome and his ability to connect on catch-and-shoot shots explains a lot. He'll be a first-round target in drafts next season. • Luigi Datome leads Celtics to win
Luigi Datome, not to be confused with the character your kid uses in Mario Kart, got a start at small forward on Wednesday and hit 9-of-15 shots and three 3-pointers for 22 points, three rebounds and two assists in a win over the Bucks.

Advice: This was a meaningless game and the Celtics were without Avery Bradley (quad), leading to Datome's start. Jonas Jerebko and Kelly Olynyk each scored 16 points, and Jared Sullinger added 11, with all three players coming off the bench. Olynyk left with a head injury tonight and didn't return, so check back for updates on his (and Bradley's) status for Sunday's opening playoff game against the Cavaliers. James Harden's triple-double helped the Rockets beat the Jazz 117-91 on Wednesday, scoring 16 points with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: This is just his second game all season with single-digit attempts from the field (3-of-8) and from the line (8-of-8). Looking ahead, the Rockets will now take on the Mavs in the first round. In four games against them this season, Harden averaged 24.8 points, 6.0 boards, 5.8 assists, 2.3 steals and 2.5 treys on 44.3 percent from the field. Rotoworld.com

Dwight Howard played just 21 minutes against the Jazz on Wednesday with 14 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.

Advice: Rudy Gobert did block him once, but this was a great game for Dwight tonight. He would have played a lot more, but the Rockets had this game in the bag during the third quarter. Advice: First things first, it's not the same leg that he fractured over eight months ago, but he was in some pain and had to be carried to the locker room by his teammates. We will update his status when we know more, but it's not uncommon for players to deal with soreness after such a long time on the shelf. • Derrick Rose sits out 2nd half with sore knee
Derrick Rose didn't play in the second half of Wednesday's game vs. the Hawks due to soreness in his left knee, but the Bulls do not seem to be concerned.

Advice: This isn't the same knee that he had his most recent procedure on, but it should be noted that he has torn his ACL in his left knee before (2012). However, Rose was in good spirits on the sidelines and said that he could have played if it were a playoff game, so it looks like he was just being cautious. Amir Johnson scored two points during a 92-87 win over the Hornets on Wednesday, adding six rebounds, one assist and one block.

Advice: He only played 16 minutes on Tuesday and may not be at 100 percent. Johnson will get a few days off before the playoffs start on Saturday. He'll likely see minutes in the mid 20s in the first round. The Wizards will travel to Toronto for Game 1 of that series. Rotoworld.com

  • Devin Harris (toe) expects to play in Game 1
Devin Harris is dealing with turf toe in his left big toe, but he expects to be ready for the first game of the playoffs.

Amir Johnson will come off the Raptors' bench again on Wednesday, with Tyler Hansbrough earning another start at power forward.

Advice: It's surprising to see coach Dwane Casey leave Johnson in a reserve role, though it may be designed to keep his playing time in check due to his recent ankle injury. • Luigi Datome starting for Celts on Wednesday
Luigi Datome will start for the Celtics on Wednesday with Avery Bradley (quad) unavailable.

Advice: Datome is averaging a mere 9.1 minutes per game in 20 appearances off the bench this year, and this marks his first start of the season. He's worth a glance if you need a quick injection of 3-pointers (0.8 per game), but that's about it. Rotoworld.com

Dwight Howard is expected to play on Wednesday against the Jazz.

Advice: This is just a reminder that Dwight will be back after missing Monday. He should get around 28-32 minutes against Rudy Gobert, which should be fun to watch. Advice: This was George's highest playing time since returning five games ago. Advice: Tyler Hansbrough earned another start but Johnson, who missed the Raptors' past four games, should retake the starting PF job as soon as Wednesday's contest vs. the Hornets. Amir Johnson (ankle) will come off the bench for Tuesday's game vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Johnson's minutes will likely be limited in his first game back in action since April 3, so he's not a great option in most leagues. Harris played well over his last five, averaging 17.6 points, 7.6 boards, 1.2 assists and 1.6 treys on 50.0 percent from the field. He's going to be a mid-round target next season, assuming he stays in Orlando. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose scores 13 points vs. Nets
Derrick Rose scored 13 points with three rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Nets on Monday.

Advice: He didn't play in the fourth segment tonight because the Bulls blew out the Nets tonight. Rose was effective on defense and he's really changed his mentality on the offensive side with less contested jumpers. Rose is expected to play in the season finale on Wednesday to help him shake off the rust. Rotoworld.com

  • James Harden scores 29 in a win
James Harden scored 29 points against the Hornets on Monday during a 100-90 win, adding six rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He's going to need a miracle to earn the scoring title and he's also lost a lot of ground in the MVP race because of how Stephen Curry is burying treys like the world has never seen. Still, Harden has been a monster and he's a big reason why the Rockets will play for the No. 2 seed on Wednesday. They do need a lot of help, though. Harden will be a top-three fantasy pick next season. Rotoworld.com

Terrence Jones double-doubled on Monday against the Hornets with 10 points, 11 boards, two assists and four blocks in 31 minutes.

Advice: He picked up some minutes at center tonight with Dwight Howard getting some rest. Jones' numbers have dipped a bit in his last five, averaging 7.6 points, 4.8 boards, 1.4 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.2 treys. He'll look to finish strong on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

Devin Harris suffered a toe injury on Monday and will not return.

Kyrie Irving (hip) will not return to Monday's game against the Pistons.

Advice: He is resting as a precaution, so he should be ready to go for the playoffs. For now, we're not expecting him to play on Wednesday. Irving finished with 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers. Matthew Dellavedova started the second half. Rotoworld.com

  • Alan Anderson out again on Monday
Alan Anderson (ankle) will not play against the Bulls on Monday.

Jeff Green (back) will play against the Warriors on Monday.

Advice: He's been dealing with a back issue for about a week, but he's played in each of his last three games since suffering the injury. • Tiago Splitter (calf) ruled out for Wednesday
Tiago Splitter (calf) has already been ruled out for Wednesday's regular season finale.

Advice: Additionally, Splitter will be on a strict minutes limit if he suits up for Game 1 of the postseason. It's a redux of what we saw last season with Splitter, when his calf issues were at the forefront of the playoff conversation. Of course, the Spurs went on to win the title, so we think they'll figure it out with or without Splitter. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose to play four segments on Monday
Derrick Rose (knee) could see his minutes increased in Monday's game against the Nets.

Advice: After playing 28 minutes on Saturday, Rose will play four segments on Monday and could very well break the 30-minute barrier. After dropping 22 points, six boards, eight assists and three steals without a turnover (Disclaimer: Against the Sixers), we'll be watching Rose closely on Monday. Rotoworld.com

Kirk Hinrich (knee) will not play on Monday against the Nets.

Advice: Hinrich didn't go through shootaround and isn't expected to return until at least Game 1 of the playoffs. It will be the Derrick Rose and Aaron Brooks show at point guard for Chicago, and that's the way it should remain regardless of whether or not Hinrich is available. Rotoworld.com

  • Tyson Chandler likely DNP-CD vs. Jazz Monday
Tyson Chandler is expected to sit out Monday's road game in Utah as a precaution.

Advice: Chandler dominated the Lakers on Sunday with 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting, nine rebounds and two blocks, but he won't even travel with the Mavericks. Dirk Nowitzki is also expected to rest as a precaution, which leaves the frontcourt wide open for Amare Stoudemire, Charlie Villanueva, Bernard James, Dwight Powell and Greg Smith. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis expected to sit out Monday's game
Monta Ellis is not expected to travel to Utah for Monday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Ellis is one of the league's premier 'iron men' who never willingly misses a game, but he managed only four points on 2-of-8 FGs vs. the Lakers on Sunday and a day off could do him good. He'll get two days of rest before potentially returning vs. the Blazers on Wednesday, and his absence should result in plentiful minutes for J.J. Barea, Richard Jefferson and Raymond Felton. • Monta Ellis lousy in 30 minutes vs. Lakers
Monta Ellis struggled vs. the Lakers on Sunday, scoring four points on 2-of-8 shooting with five assists, one steal and one block in 30 minutes of action.

Advice: Rick Carlisle is rotating his key veterans into the DNP-CD cycle and Ellis could be a candidate on Monday, though he's always averse to missing games. Monta sat alone and looked sullen when the Mavs won in double-OT on Friday, and there were reports a few weeks ago that his "moodiness" has negatively impacted the Mavs' locker room, so we'll keep an eye on the situation. • Rajon Rondo returns w/ 11 points, 11 assists
Rajon Rondo returned from a day of rest to finish Sunday's win in L.A. with 11 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and a rare 3-pointer.

Advice: Rondo even knocked down both of his free throw attempts tonight. The fact that he rested on Friday alleviates the risk of another DNP-CD, but owners still have to confirm Rondo's status for the Mavs' final games on Monday and Wednesday. If he does sit out, coach Rick Carlisle seems likely to start Raymond Felton while keeping Devin Harris in his typical role with the second unit. Rotoworld.com

  • Terrence Jones quiet in 25 mins vs. Pelicans
Terrence Jones was quiet in 25 minutes vs. the Pelicans, scoring six points on 3-of-5 shooting with four rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Advice: A matchup with Anthony Davis is enough to slow down any power forward, and Jones faces an additional challenge with teammate Dwight Howard vacuuming up rebounds and dominating the paint. Dwight will rest on Monday, however, making Jones an excellent option vs. the Hornets' injury-ravaged frontcourt. Rotoworld.com

  • Corey Brewer scores 20 points, shoots 6-of-11
Corey Brewer scored 20 points with five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes on Sunday, helping Houston hold off the Pelicans for a 121-114 victory.

Advice: Brewer has been nowhere near fantasy value over the past few weeks, averaging just 7.8 points on 32.7 percent shooting, so it was nice to see him make 6-of-11 field goals and 8-of-11 free throws tonight. He's not a 3-point threat and his steals have tailed off lately, so most fantasy owners should leave him on the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com
    Apr 12, 6:38 pm
  • Dwight Howard posts 19 & 11 w/ three blocks
Dwight Howard played 28 minutes during Sunday's win vs. the Pelicans, which he finished with 19 points (7-of-10 FGs, 5-of-11 FTs), 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Advice: As a reminder, Howard will not play vs. the Hornets on Monday. He has three straight double-doubles despite being on a fairly strict minute-limit, and over his past four games he's averaging 17.3 points on 67.5 percent shooting, 11.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks. Considering he missed almost two months with a serious knee injury, this is all fantasy owners could have hoped for. Rotoworld.com

  • Rajon Rondo will play vs. the Lakers Sunday
Rajon Rondo will be in the starting lineup vs. the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: Rondo was held out of Friday's game vs. the Nuggets in order to get some extra rest, but his owners can go ahead and get him in their active lineups tonight. The Mavericks do have an away game in Utah on Monday, so it's possible that Rondo could rest again considering the Mavs don't have anything to play for. If that happens, J.J. Barea, Devin Harris and Raymond Felton would be in the mix for more minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Paul George scores eight points in 14 minutes
Paul George scored eight points with six boards, one assist and one 3-pointer in 14 minutes against the Thunder on Sunday.

Advice: It's hard to make an impact while playing under a 15-minute cap, but George has looked surprisingly comfortable since returning from an eight-month absence. The Pacers are battling the Nets for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and it will be interesting to see if the Pacers allow George to up his minutes. Mike Scott led the Hawks with 19 points on 6-of-15 shooting vs. the Wizards, hitting three 3-pointers with three rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes off the bench.

Advice: The Hawks' reserve forward has explosive offensive potential, as evidenced by his averages of 17.0 points and 2.1 triples per 36 minutes this season. He's averaging only 16.2 minutes per game this season and will be limited with the Hawks' starters returning on Monday, however, so don't put too much stock in tonight's outburst. Rotoworld.com

  • Jeff Green (back) questionable Monday
Jeff Green (back) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Warriors.

Advice: Green has been dealing with back spasms for a while now, and he has continued to play despite not being 100 percent. Kyrie Irving (hip) will be rested against the Celtics on Sunday, but he is expected to play against the Pistons on Monday.

Advice: Irving was held out of Friday's game vs. the Celtics because of soreness in his right hip, so his owners probably saw this coming. Matthew Dellavedova and Iman Shumpert (quad) will be very busy tonight, and are both worth a look in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Dwight Howard to play Sunday, rest on Monday
Dwight Howard (knee) will play on Sunday vs. the Pelicans, but he will sit out Monday's game vs. the Hornets.

Advice: Howard isn't cleared to play in both games of a back-to-back set, so there are no surprises here. Howard belongs in all active lineups Sunday as long as you can deal with his awful free throw shooting, while Terrence Jones, Josh Smith and Joey Dorsey will all benefit in his absence vs. the Hornets on Monday. • DeAndre Jordan makes free throws
DeAndre Jordan made 6-of-7 from the field and 4-of-5 from the line for 16 points with 16 boards, three steals and two blocks.

Advice: He's not supposed to be this good from the line. In fact, he hasn't made over 70 percent from the line with at least three attempts in any game in 2015 before tonight. Jordan's fantasy owners shouldn't care by now thanks to the boards, field goal percentage and blocks. Rotoworld.com

Jeff Green played 41 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday with 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, one block and one 3-pointer on 5-of-16 from the field.

Advice: He took an elbow to the face from Blake Griffin, but Green seems to be fine. He was questionable for this game due to a lower back issue, but obviously playing 41 minutes suggests he's fine. If Marc Gasol (ankle) is out, Green is going to have some major offensive responsibilities. He looks like a high-upside, must-start player for Monday against the Warriors. Rotoworld.com

Derrick Rose looked great down the stretch against the 76ers during a 114-107 win on Saturday, scoring 22 points with six rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Most importantly, he had no turnovers. Rose attacked the basket at will to close this game out, which is exactly what the Bulls will want out of him because he's lost his touch from deep. Rose had his usual bounce tonight in his 28 minutes, too. The Bulls will probably want him to shake the rust off, so we'd expect him to play in the final two games. Rotoworld.com

Tobias Harris is set to become a restricted free agent in the summer, but he wants to remind people that the Magic will determine whether he stays or goes.

Advice: "There's a lot of things you have to look at in any type of free agency, but what I think what everybody's beginning to forget is that [I'll be] a restricted free agent," Harris said. "So whatever happens, it's in the organization's hands to make a call. So I think everybody has to really keep that in mind and not just say, 'You might want to go here and there.' " Harris has had a pretty decent season and is sure to command a lot of interest this summer, but any interested teams will likely have to overpay to have a chance of stealing him from the Magic. Dwight Howard scored 12 points on 3-of-5 shooting (6-of-9 FTs) with 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 27 minutes on Friday against the Spurs.

Advice: Howard's minutes are slowly getting ramped up for the playoffs and he's more or less where owners want him to be productivity-wise. He's much better than the deep league asset we called him earlier today, though there is going to be risk of DNPs as we finish the season. Rotoworld.com

  • Kyrie Irving (right hip) out for Friday night
Kyrie Irving is dealing with a sore right hip injury and will not play on Friday night against the Celtics.

Advice: He felt the soreness at shootaround and that continued in warmups. Irving looked sharp on Wednesday and he probably would be suiting up had this been a playoff game. Still, he is probably much more likely to be rested in an upcoming game since he's at less than 100 percent Matthew Dellavedova will start, but is not a fantasy option. J.R. Terrence Jones was hit in his ribs on Wednesday night and it bothered him the rest of the night.

Advice: "I don't know if he's coming back at all," coach Lionel Hollins said. Bojan Bogdanovic is playing some encouraging ball right now and is worth a look in standard leagues. Anderson can be dropped everywhere. Rotoworld.com

  • Alan Anderson (ankle) out Friday vs. WAS
Alan Anderson (ankle) will remain sidelined for Friday's game vs. the Wizards.

Advice: This will be Anderson's fourth consecutive game on the sidelines, and with him unavailable, look for Thaddeus Young to get all the run he can handle with Bojan Bogdanovic getting some extended run. Bojan has been playing well lately, and he's worth a look as a low-end, plug-and-play option in daily leagues Rotoworld.com

  • James Harden: 'I am the MVP'
James Harden made his own case for MVP honors during a recent interview, boldly claiming: "I am the MVP."

Advice: "I feel as though I am the MVP," Harden said. "I think the MVP is the most valuable player to your team. Obviously you have to be winning and be one of the top teams in this league and we are. I'm not taking credit away from anybody else in the league. But I've been consistent all year. I've just been doing the right things to put my team in situations to win, considering all of the different circumstances we've had to deal with." The vote is going to come down to either Harden or Stephen Curry, and you can make a legitimate case for either. Harden may or may not be the MVP this year, but after having a career-year with the Rockets this season, Harden has likely carried a lot of fantasy teams to the Finals with his ridiculous stat lines. • Kirk Hinrich will play Thursday vs. the Heat
Kirk Hinrich is a go for Thursday's game vs. the Heat.

Advice: Hinrich is one of those guys that helps his actual team much more than a fantasy team. He's averaging a meager 5.9 points and 2.3 assists on the season, so it's safe to ignore Hinrich in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Tony Allen (hamstring) will not play Friday
Tony Allen (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Allen is expected to be out through the weekend, and it'll be Courtney Lee, Jeff Green, and Vince Carter picking up the slack in his absence. Green offers the most upside out of the group. Rotoworld.com

  • Tiago Splitter (calf) out Friday vs. Houston
Tiago Splitter (calf) will remain sidelined for Friday's game vs. the Rockets, as expected.

Advice: Splitter's next chance to play will come Sunday vs. the Suns, so we'll be considering him on the doubtful side of questionable for that one. With Splitter sidelined, Aron Baynes, Matt Bonner, and Boris Diaw will have the opportunity for extended minutes, although none of those guys can be viewed as viable options in standard leagues. Splitter belongs on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kirk Hinrich probable to play vs Heat Thurs
Kirk Hinrich is probable to play against the Heat on Thursday.

Advice: Hinrich only played 15 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Magic, so he'll likely be limited along with Derrick Rose on Thursday. With a split of minutes with both Rose and Aaron Brooks on Thursday, Hinrich has very little fantasy value outside of the deepest of leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Paul George has no fears of re-injury
Paul George (leg) said he has no fears of re-injuring himself.

Advice: When asked if he was afraid to hurt himself again, George said, ""Nah, I don’t have any fear. Unless they move the stanchions closer." George is averaging 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 three-pointers over 15.5 minutes in two games since returning from injury. He's worth an add in deeper fantasy leagues, but he's not going to see enough minutes to make a difference in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • James Harden scores 22 in a loss
James Harden made 6-of-15 from the field against the Spurs during a 110-98 loss on Wednesday, adding four rebounds, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: This one is going to sting for the Rockets with the Grizzlies and Blazers winning tonight while the Clippers are on a four-game winning streak. In fact, it's very possible the Rockets fall to the fifth seed this weekend with a loss to the Spurs on Friday. They'll be in Houston for that one, though. The Rockets also set the record for most 3-pointers in a season. Rotoworld.com

  • Rajon Rondo plays, could rest soon for Mavs
Rajon Rondo played through a sore knee on Wednesday and had 12 points and seven assists on 6-of-9 shooting.

Advice: The good news is that he played. The bad news is that Rick Carlisle said after the game that he'll likely rest Rondo for one of his upcoming games. That also means that guys like Dirk Nowitzki, Tyson Chandler and Monta Ellis could also be rested, so owners of Mavericks players should keep a daily eye out for news of a DNP. Rotoworld.com

  • Tyson Chandler goes for 12 & 23 in win
Tyson Chandler racked up 12 points, 23 rebounds and two blocks in Wednesday's win over the Suns.

Advice: They Mavs knocked the Suns out of the playoffs with the win and Chandler abused former teammate, Brandan Wright. The Mavs sound like they may rest some starters over the final week, so Chandler's owners should watch the news feed to make sure he's playing from night to night. Rotoworld.com

  • Terrence Jones plays just 17 minutes
Terrence Jones played just 17 minutes against the Spurs on Wednesday with two points and one turnover.

Advice: It was an awful game from Jones with no other stats, making just 1-of-3 from the field. He just didn't have it tonight and he should be better on Friday against these same Spurs. Rotoworld.com
