    • Scores 20 points in Game 2 defeat
Williams closed with 20 points (7-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 39 minutes during Thursday's 119-110 loss to the Mavericks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Williams was the Thunder's second-best scoring option behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but his solid two-way contributions were not enough to lift Oklahoma City to a 2-0 series lead. Williams has been outstanding in the playoffs and has confirmed the improvements he evidenced during the regular season. Through six postseason appearances, he's averaging 20.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 49 percent from the field. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:28 am
    • Sniffs triple-double in Game 2 loss
Gilgeous-Alexander had 33 points (13-24 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal across 41 minutes during Thursday's 119-110 loss to the Mavericks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Gilgeous-Alexander finished just two assists away from recording a triple-double, but his outstanding two-way play was not enough as the Thunder came up short in Game 2 of the series. The loss shouldn't take anything away from Gilgeous-Alexander's impact from a fantasy perspective. He's averaging 28.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game across six playoff contests. • Jalen Williams tallies 20 points, full stat line
Jalen Williams finished Thursday’s Game 2 loss to the Mavericks with 20 points (7-of-17 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: After shooting nearly 53% from the field in Oklahoma City’s four-game sweep of the Pelicans, Williams’ shooting has taken a hit against the Mavericks. Between Derrick Jones Jr. and PJ Washington, Dallas is far better equipped to defend JDub than New Orleans was, which explains why he shot 40.6% from the field in Games 1 and 2. The good news for DFS players is that he’s kept the turnovers in check, committing one in each game. Williams will look to put forth a better effort in Game 3 on Saturday afternoon. • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scores game-high 33 points
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot 13-of-24 from the field and 6-of-6 from the foul line in Thursday’s 119-110 loss to the Mavericks, tallying 33 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, one steal, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes.

Advice: Gilgeous-Alexander recorded a high-level stat line in Game 2, but the lack of offense from players other than him and Jalen Williams was too much to overcome. SGA, who finished second in the NBA MVP voting, has surpassed the 30-point mark twice in six games this postseason, with Thursday’s effort being his first since Game 2 of OKC’s first-round series against New Orleans. Gilgeous-Alexander will get his numbers, and he’s been efficient in this series’ first two games. How far the Thunder plays into the postseason will depend on how consistent his supporting cast is. Game 3 is on Saturday afternoon in Dallas. Rotoworld Thursday, 9:33 pm
    • Flirts with triple-double Tuesday
Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 29 points (8-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 11-13 FT), nine rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and one steal over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 117-95 win over Dallas in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Gilgeous-Alexander fell agonizingly short of his first career playoff triple-double, guiding the Thunder to an emphatic Game 1 victory. While this was a close contest for the first three quarters, Oklahoma City took over late, led by the MVP candidate. He will look to build on this performance when the two teams clash again Thursday. • SGA turns in 29/9/9 line in Game 1 win over Dallas
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 29 points (8-of-19 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), nine rebounds, nine assists, one steal, two blocks and two triples in a 117-95 win over Dallas in Game 1 on Tuesday.

Advice: SGA played well in their first round sweep of the Pelicans, but SGA had arguably his best performance of this postseason in Game 1. His field goal percentage was once again significantly worse than it was during the regular season, but he came close to recording a triple-double. He took over this game with Jalen Williams struggling for the first three quarters, and the Thunder used a dominant fourth quarter to seal the win in the first game of the series. Game 2 will be on Thursday, and SGA will look to have another big game to help OKC remain undefeated in the postseason. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:07 pm
    • Leading scorer in Game 1 defeat
Turner tallied 23 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal over 35 minutes in Monday's 121-117 loss to New York in Game 1 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Turner did all he could to help Indiana to a road victory in Game 1 against New York, leading the club in scoring to go along with a team-high-tying pair of threes while ending as the lone Pacer with 20 or more points in the losing effort. Turner bounced back well after a pair of low-scoring outings in the final two games of the first-round series, posting his fourth game of the postseason with at least 20 points. Indiana will hope for a similar performance from Turner offensively in Game 2, and he may need to improve his presence on the glass to help the Pacers own the battle on the boards. • Myles Turner leads Pacers with 23 points in Game 1
Myles Turner shot 8-of-16 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line in Monday’s 121-117 loss to the Knicks, tallying 23 points, two rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: One of the critical subplots of the Pacers/Knicks series is how New York will defend Turner when he’s the screener in Indiana’s two-man game. Conventional “drop” coverage is unlikely to succeed consistently because of the Pacers’ big man’s perimeter shooting ability. Turner got his points in Game 1 in multiple ways, going 6-of-10 from two and 2-of-6 from three. Given his performance on Monday, considering the over for Turner’s point total in Wednesday’s Game 2 wouldn’t be a bad idea. Rotoworld Monday, 7:19 pm
    • Russell Westbrook plays 9 minutes in Game 6 loss
Russell Westbrook shot 2-of-7 from the field and 2-of-3 from the foul line in Friday’s loss to the Mavericks, scoring six points with one rebound, one assist, and one steal in nine minutes.

Advice: In what could be his final game as a Clipper, Westbrook offered little value in Game 6. Tyronn Lue needed more scoring, especially with P.J. Tucker starting, which led to Los Angeles effectively going with a six-man rotation. Westbrook entered the season with a Yahoo ADP of 109.3, a generous placement for a veteran point guard whose role would be limited. Give Russ credit for willingly taking a step back after the Clippers added James Harden, but his days as a consistently relevant fantasy option may have ended. Westbrook has a player option for the 2024-25 season and will be, at best, a late-round pick in deep leagues. Rotoworld May 3, 10:16 pm
