    • Scores team-high 34 points in loss
Lillard totaled 34 points (10-21 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 125-108 loss to the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Lillard followed up his 35-point performance in Game 1 with another solid number, but his stellar play wasn't enough this time. His supporting cast was much less effective in Game 2, and Giannis Antetokounmpo's (calf) missing output continues to plague the offense. Lillard's excellent start to the postseason is no surprise, as he's averaged 29.5 points, 6.2 assists and 4.5 rebounds over 62 playoff games in his career. Rotowire.com Today, 5:11 am
    • Double-double onslaught continues
Siakam closed with 37 points (16-23 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds and six assists over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 125-108 win over Milwaukee in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: The last player to open a postseason with two 35-point, 10-rebound performances was Wilt Chamberlain, which gives you an idea of how rare Siakam's run of production is in the playoffs. Siakam was the unquestioned offensive engine for the Pacers, shooting a deadly 69.5 percent from the floor while adding 11 rebounds. If Giannis Antetokounmpo's (calf) absence continues, Siakam should be able to exploit the Bucks and keep his double-double streak intact. Rotowire.com Today, 4:44 am
    • Damian Lillard leads MIL with 34 points in Game 2
Damian Lillard finished Tuesday’s 125-108 loss to the Pacers with 34 points (10-of-21 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), four rebounds, five assists, one steal, and six 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: Like Sunday’s Game 1 victory, Game 2 was a tale of two halves for Lillard. He put on a show in the first half, scoring 26 points, but the Pacers limited him to eight after halftime. While Doc Rivers said after the game that Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is close to a return, he isn’t back yet. Until that changes, the Bucks will need more second-half production from Lillard. Game 3 is on Friday in Indianapolis. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm
    • Pascal Siakam makes franchise history in Gm 2 win
Pascal Siakam shot 16-of-23 from the field and 2-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 125-108 win over the Bucks, scoring 37 points with 11 rebounds, six assists, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Advice: The Pacers evened their series at one win apiece, and Siakam led the way. Spicy P made some history, becoming the first Pacer to record a 30-point double-double in two consecutive games. Also, Siakam is tied with Paul George for the most 30-point double-doubles in a single postseason in franchise history. The Siakam matchup may be where the Bucks miss Giannis Antetokounmpo the most, as Siakam did whatever he wanted in the first two games. The series shifts to Indianapolis for Game 3 on Friday. • Named Most Improved Player
Maxey was named the 2023-24 Most Improved Player on Tuesday.

Advice: Maxey enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2023-24 after taking over the lead ball-handler role due to the departure of James Harden from Philadelphia. Maxey was able to improve his season averages of 20.3 points, 3.5 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 33.6 minutes from 2022-23 to 25.9 points, 6.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 37.5 minutes in 2023-24. While the 23-year-old's shooting splits decreased from 48.1/43.4/84.5 to 45.0/37.3/86.8, his jump as a playmaker and volume scorer helped him form one of the NBA's most dynamic duos alongside Joel Embiid. • Tyrese Maxey wins Most Improved Player award
Tyrese Maxey was named the winner of the George Mikan Trophy, emblematic of the NBA’s Most Improved Player.

Advice: There is no surprise here, as Maxey jumped from a solid supplementary option to a bonafide star in his fourth NBA season. Earning his first All-Star Game appearance, the 76ers guard averaged 25.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 3.0 3-pointers per game, shooting 45.0% from the field, 37.3% from three, and 86.8% from the foul line. Maxey is the second 76ers player to win the award, joining Dana Barros (1994-95). Chicago’s Coby White finished second in the voting, with Houston’s Alperen Sengun coming in third. • Hopeful to return in postseason
Williamson (hamstring), who will be re-evaluated in one week, says it is "realistic" he returns in the postseason, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Williamson exited the Pelicans' first Play-In Tournament game against the Lakers with a hamstring strain and has not played since. However, Williamson says he is hopeful to eventually make his postseason return, which would likely require a second-round matchup. Despite not having Williamson available for Game 1 against the top-seeded Thunder, the Pelicans kept it close, losing 94-92. How quickly the medical staff clears him may depend on how the remainder of the series plays out. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:54 pm
    • Sinks game-winning shot Monday
Murray ended Monday's 101-99 victory over the Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with 20 points (9-24 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two blocks across 39 minutes.

Advice: Even though Nikola Jokic stole the show with a triple-double, it was Murray who ended up being the hero for the Nuggets, as his buzzer-beating fadeaway gave Denver a massive win despite the team trailing by as many as 20 points at one point in the third quarter. Murray has scored at least 20 points in each of his last six appearances dating back to the regular season, and the star floor general should handle a prominent role in Game 3 on Thursday as the series shifts to Los Angeles. • Records 35/10 double-double in loss
Maxey notched 35 points (12-22 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), nine rebounds and 10 assists in 44 minutes during Monday's 104-101 loss to the Knicks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Maxey scored 15 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter and was the primary catalyst in a massive rally that erased the Knicks' lead. His three-pointer with 1:09 remaining appeared to seal a Game 2 win for the Sixers, but New York's defense turned the tables in the end. Although Joel Embiid is rounding back into form, Maxey's production will be essential to get the team back into the series. The Maxey-Embiid duo also needs help from the rest of the supporting cast, who scored only 32 points in the loss. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:22 am
