  • Evan Fournier (hip) out again Friday vs. DET
Evan Fournier (hip) will not play Friday vs. the Pistons.

  • Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) out Friday vs. DET
Dewayne Dedmon (left ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Pistons.

Advice: It appears that Dedmon suffered a setback when he returned to action on Wednesday, and he could be looking at additional time on the sidelines. Channing Frye will have the opportunity to slide back into the starting lineup tonight, but he can only be viewed as a 3-point specialist in extremely deep leagues. On such a busy Friday night, there should be much better options available to slide into your active roster. Rotoworld.com

  • Kings selling Sauce Castillo shirts
The Kings are now selling Sauce Castillo T-shirts on their website.

Advice: On Tuesday morning, nobody knew what a Sauce Castillo was. Now, it's become one of the greatest nicknames in all of sports because of a closed-caption mistake. The internet can be so great sometimes. As for Mr. Castillo himself, he'll need to get it going off the dribble in order to have fantasy value in almost any league. Rotoworld.com

Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) is making significant progress and rode a stationary bike on Friday.

Advice: If the progress continues, Jones could resume on-court activity as soon as Tuesday. This is great news to hear on Jones after suffering a very scary partially collapsed lung. • Chris Kaman (shoulder) set to play on Friday
Chris Kaman (shoulder) is probable to play against the Suns on Friday.

  • Nicolas Batum (back) probable to play on Friday
Nicolas Batum (back) is probable to play against the Suns on Friday.

Advice: He missed the last two games and should be ready to play tonight. Batum reportedly looked good in warmups on Wednesday, but the team still held him out. Hopefully he doesn't aggravate his back injury and puts up a big line in what should be a high-scoring game. Dorell Wright can be dropped in most leagues while C.J. McCollum will also take a big hit. Kevin Martin (hamstrings) said his strained hamstrings should be better and good to go by next week.

Advice: He's technically listed as questionable for tonight, but this update suggests he's not going to play. With Martin out, Andrew Wiggins has been playing a ton of minutes while Lorenzo Brown is also getting minutes in the 30s. Chase Budinger also benefits as the best floor-spacing guy on the team. • Brandon Knight (ankle) a game-time decision
Brandon Knight (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game vs. the Trail Blazers.

Advice: Knight has missed the past seven games, so if he is able to go, he'll likely have his minutes held in check, as his conditioning is likely not where it needs to be. Owners will need to check back for another update closer to tip-off, but with 13 games being played tonight, Knight is not necessarily a must-start guy in standard leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Chalmers likely to get another start Friday
With Dwyane Wade (knee) not likely to play Friday vs. the Hawks, Mario Chalmers looks like he'll get another game with the starting unit.

Advice: Heat coach Erik Spoelstra hinted that he'll go with the same starting lineup from Wednesday which featured Goran Dragic, Mario Chalmers, Luol Deng, Henry Walker, and Udonis Haslem. Chalmers will see a boost in value as a starter, and he'll have a favorable matchup against the Hawks, so he's someone to consider in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

Bradley Beal (ankle) went through shootaround, but he remains questionable for Friday's game vs. Charlotte.

Advice: Beal said it's possible that he plays tonight, but he wants to go through pre-game warmups before making an official decision. It sounds like Beal may be headed for the dreaded game-time decision, so owners will need to check back for an update on his status closer to tip-off. Advice: With Boozer and Hill out, Tarik Black and Ryan Kelly will likely remain in the starting unit, with Ed Davis seeing extended minutes off the bench. All three guys can be viewed as low-end streamer options in deep leagues, with Davis and Kelly offering the most upside. • Dwight Howard to see around 20 minutes Friday
Dwight Howard said he'll have his minutes limit increased to 20 for Friday's game vs. the Timberwolves.

Advice: 20 minutes may actually be enough time for Howard to rack up some decent statistics against a weak Minnesota frontcourt, so he's someone to consider deploying as a low-end option in very deep leagues. However, the minutes limit, horrendous free throw shooting, and the fact he'll be sitting out of back-to-back sets makes Howard a tough guy to own in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Donatas Motiejunas (back) did not participate during shootaround, and he remains questionable for Friday's game vs. the Timberwolves.

Advice: Motiejunas isn't headed in the right direction after missing shootaround, so we're going to consider him closer to doubtful than questionable for tonight's game. • Borrego praises Dewayne Dedmon's defense
Magic head coach James Borrego praised Dewayne Dedmon's effort on the defensive end during a recent interview.

Advice: "He gives us energy," Borrego said. "He gives us an edge. He gives us toughness. He challenges shots, passes. And then we have another big guy right next to him there to clog the paint and challenge shots. The length of those two, the size, is a good combination for us defensively." It sounds like Dedmon will remain in the starting lineup as the Magic close out their season, but with averages of just 4.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game as a starter, he can only be viewed as a rebounding and shot-blocking specialist in very deep leagues. Advice: There's no reason to think that Dwight won't play Friday after he returned from a two-month absence on Wednesday without experiencing any setbacks. He will however be with a minutes limit, so he's by no means a must-own guy in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Donatas Motiejunas (lower back pain) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Timberwolves.

Wizards' head coach Randy Wittman said that Bradley Beal's sprained right ankle is "not too bad," and the swelling has gone down.

Advice: Beal was able to walk off the court without any assistance following his ankle injury, and he didn't require a walking boot or crutches when he left the arena, which are all positive signs. We'll be considering Beal questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets, and owners can expect to get another update on his status following Friday morning's shootaround. Nik Stauskas scored 13 points on 5-of-7 from the field against the Suns on Wednesday, adding four rebounds, one assist, one steal and two 3-pointers in 18 minutes.

Advice: For those in the nickname game, "Sauce Castillo" was trending on Twitter in Sacramento, which is one of the best nicknames we've seen in a while. He's bounced back from his weak sauce February that included him making just 11.1 percent from the field, but he still has a lot of work to do. • Surprise: Nic Batum gets a DNP Wednesday
Nicolas Batum was actually listed as a starter at one point on Wednesday, and it then sounded like he would come off the bench for the Blazers as he deals with a sore back. However, he never got into the game.

Advice: We're not quite sure what happened here, but the Blazers were not comfortable playing him tonight. The fact he appeared to be a go should be viewed as good news though, and hopefully he'll be back on Friday against the Suns. Allen Crabbe got the surprise start, but Dorell Wright had 15 points, five boards and three 3-pointers, and looks like the safest option if Batum is going to miss more time. Rotoworld.com

Dwight Howard returned from a two-month absence during a win against the Pelicans on Wednesday, playing 16 minutes for four points, seven rebounds, two assists and one block.

If Martin can't play, Andrew Wiggins, Chase Budinger, Lorenzo Brown and Sean Kilpatrick should all get plenty of minutes on the wings, with Wiggins and Budinger offering the most upside. Ryan Kelly and Tarik Black will draw the start again, but they are both only options in deeper leagues. Ed Davis and Robert Sacre will also be in the frontcourt rotation, but Davis is the only one worth a look for his upside in blocks. Advice: Before the game Erik Spoelstra told reporters, "For the next month each game will have the feel of playoff intensity." The No. 7 seed Heat were facing the No. 6 seed Bucks tonight and they blew a 16-point lead in the fourth quarter, so there's sure to be some soul-searching during their flight to Boston. Carlos Boozer did not play vs. the Thunder on Tuesday and the Lakers' coaching staff told him that he's unlikely to play for the next "four or five games."

Advice: Boozer has been a net negative player both offensively and defensively this season, per Basketball Reference, but his inactivity is another signal that the Lakers are ready to tank in earnest over their final 12 games. Boozer is not a viable fantasy option, even if he does claw his way back into the rotation. His absence opens up more minutes for Ryan Kelly, Tarik Black, Ed Davis and Robert Sacre, but only Davis is a worth owning in standard leagues Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Kaman (shoulder) will not play Tues
Chris Kaman (shoulder) will not play vs. the Warriors on Tuesday.

Advice: The Blazers will probably err on the side of caution with Kaman moving forward in an effort to keep him fresh for the playoffs, so we wouldn't expect him to play unless he is 100 percent. The Blazers play again on Wednesday vs. the Jazz, so Kaman should be considered doubtful for that one as well. With LaMarcus Aldridge (finger) also out of the lineup, expect Joel Freeland and Meyers Leonard to see an uptick in minutes, though neither player is very appealing in most leagues right now. • Nicolas Batum (back) expected to sit Tuesday
Nicolas Batum (back) didn't go through warmups and he's not listed as a starter for Tuesday's game vs. Golden State.

Advice: Batum didn't practice on Monday and he was listed as doubtful prior to being ruled out, so this shouldn't catch any owners by surprise. The extremely short-handed Blazers will rely on Alonzo Gee, Dorell Wright, C.J. McCollum and Arron Afflalo to pick up extra playing time in Batum's absence, with Gee taking Batum's spot in the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Martin (hamstring) questionable for Wed
Kevin Martin (hamstring) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Martin did not play during the Wolves last game due to his ailing hamstring, and with the Timberwolves playing for picks, there's no reason for Martin to play at less than 100 percent. We'll be monitoring his status closely, and if he's unavailable, Lorenzo Brown would have another opportunity to start, with Chase Budinger and Sean Kilpatrick seeing extended minutes in the backcourt. Budinger offers the most upside out of the group. Rotoworld.com

Updating a previous report, Dwight Howard (knee) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: All signs are pointing towards Dwight returning to action on Wednesday, and we'll be monitoring this situation closely. He will, however, more than likely have a minutes cap, so owners should not be expected a 20-20 game when he returns to the floor after spending the past two months on the sidelines. Rotoworld.com

  • Dwight Howard (knee) could return Wednesday
Rockets' head coach Kevin McHale said he plans to play Dwight Howard (knee) Wednesday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Howard said he felt good following Tuesday's practice, and he will talk with the Rockets' medical staff tomorrow to determine his availability. Howard will likely return to the starting lineup, which would send Joey Dorsey back to the bench, and he could cut into the production of Josh Smith and Donatas Motiejunas. Dwight will more than likely have a minutes cap, so his upside is going to be limited, at least initially. Rotoworld.com

Bradley Beal barely survived the Wizards' 31-point blowout loss to the Warriors on Monday, hitting 4-of-11 shots (including two threes) for 12 points, two rebounds and one steal in 34 minutes.

Advice: Beal is getting minutes and he simply needs to hit shots to pay owners off for a bad season. If everything is absolutely clicking for him he can sneak into some mid-round value, but with the way things have gone he'll be lucky to post late-round numbers the rest of the way. The rest of the Wizards' box score is not suitable for children and should probably be ignored for evaluation purposes. Rotoworld.com

Donatas Motiejunas scored 17 points with two rebounds, three assists, three steals and one 3-pointer on 6-of-9 from the field in 38 minutes against the Pacers on Monday.

Advice: He is going to be a bigger part of the offense until Dwight Howard (knee) gets back, which could be as soon as Wednesday. Advice: One season after the Blazers were one of the healthiest teams in decades, they're dealing with some injuries right now. Batum does have a couple minor injuries to his back, but this isn't a trend for him. Still, he appears doubtful to play on Tuesday. With Batum out, C.J. Advice: Howard had been listed as doubtful against the Pacers, but he was never expected to make his return on Monday. Dwight Howard (knee) is listed as doubtful for Monday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Howard was hopeful to return on either Monday or Wednesday, but he remains without a firm timetable or target date as he works his way back into game action. Howard is not expected to play in back-to-back contest, and we're not expecting a dominant Dwight when Howard does make his return because the team is likely to treat him with kid gloves so he's ready and able for the postseason. Advice: KevMart didn't make any 3-pointers and he only attempted one free throw all game, but he made up for it with four boards, one steal and the sudden outburst of assists. Bradley Beal was the only Wizard to score more than 11 points on Sunday, finishing a disappointing road loss with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting, three rebounds, four assists and one steal.

Advice: Washington was flat from the opening tip and they've now lost two straight games, leaving them 1.5 games behind Chicago for the No. 4 seed and first-round homecourt advantage. Beal's owners can't complain as he's finally rolling after an injury-plagued season during which he's missed 18 games and averaged just 14.8 points, down from 17.1 points last season. It wasn't all good for Chalmers, as he shot 4-of-14 from the field and didn't have any assists. We've got to take care of our body. Hopefully, I'm going to be able to play soon. Hopefully, 10 more days. I don't know. But, yeah, it's hard." Sunday will be his 13th straight game on the shelf, and the Magic will likely be cautious with him upon his return considering they are currently playing for draft picks. With Kaman out for most of Friday, coach Terry Stotts went with a combination of C.J. McCollum and Meyers Leonard to fill in. • Dwyane Wade scores 32 in win over Blazers
Dwyane Wade hit 13-of-26 shots for 32 points, four rebounds, six assists and a steal in Wednesday's win.

Advice: Wade is surprisingly healthy these days, as well as on fire. He's scored at least 25 points in each of his last five games and is averaging 30.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.8 steals on 55 percent shooting. Hopefully he keeps playing until the end of the season. Rotoworld.com

  • Evan Fournier (hip) misses 11th straight game
Evan Fournier (hip) will miss his 11th consecutive game on Wednesday.

Advice: The Magic return from their road trip to face the Blazers on Friday, so hopefully Fournier will at least resume practicing in the next few days. His absence shifts a few more minutes toward Victor Oladipo, with Ben Gordon, Luke Ridnour and Moe Harkless also picked up extra opportunities. Rotoworld.com

  • Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) ruled out vs. Mavs
Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) will not play vs. the Mavericks on Wednesday.

Advice: He rolled an ankle during Tuesday's loss in Houston, and his absence will likely thrust Channing Frye into the starting PF spot. Nikola Vucevic will also be busy vs. Tyson Chandler and the Mavs' frontcourt. We're calling Dedmon questionable to return for Friday's home game vs. the Blazers. Rotoworld.com

  • Bradley Beal will not have any restrictions
Despite dealing with a variety of minor ailments, Bradley Beal will not have any restrictions on the Wizards' upcoming 4-game road trip.

Advice: Beal has been a little rusty since returning from his leg injury on Feb. 28, but he was able to drop 23 points with seven assists in 39 minutes vs. the Blazers on Monday, which was the most action he has seen since the beginning of February. As long as Beal doesn't suffer any setbacks in his lower right leg, he will likely continue to battle through injuries as the Wizards look to bolster their position in the Eastern Conference. Deploy him with confidence. Rotoworld.com

  • Donatas Motiejunas leads Houston w/ 23 points
Donatas Motiejunas lit up the Magic for a team-high 23 points with two 3-pointers, seven rebounds and four assists on Tuesday, helping the Rockets earn a 13-point victory.

Advice: Orlando ranks No. 26 in defensive efficiency, allowing 105.4 points per 100 possessions, so it's no surprise to see D-Mo take advantage of the matchup. He saw more opportunities early with Terrence Jones coming off the bench in the first half, and with any luck this will spark an offensive resurgence -- he was making 37.9 percent FGs and 41.2 percent FTs over his previous six games. • Evan Fournier (hip) out Tuesday vs. Houston
Evan Fournier (hip) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game vs. the Rockets.

Advice: Fournier is not even with the team on their current road trip, so he's looking doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks as well. With the fantasy playoffs in full swing, Fournier should not be owned in most leagues. Victor Oladipo will continue to log heavy minutes for Orlando with Moe Harkless seeing limited minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com

  • Dwyane Wade scores 32 in win over Cavs
Dwyane Wade was in superstar mode during a 106-92 win over the Cavs on Monday, scoring 32 points with two rebounds, two assists and a season-high five steals in 31 minutes.

Advice: He was 13-of-18 from the field and just did whatever he wanted on offense for his second 30-point game against the Cavs this season. "When we play the way we played tonight on both ends of the floor, we know we can beat anyone," Wade said. It sounds like the Heat are now going for the postseason and they're sitting in the No. 8 spot right now with the tiebreaker over Boston. Wade will have much more fantasy value if the Heat stay in the hunt. Rotoworld.com

  • Martin scores 23 points with six assists
Kevin Martin scored 23 points on 7-of-16 shooting (3-of-5 3PTs, 6-of-6 FTs) with three rebounds and six assists in Monday's loss to the Nets.

Advice: Martin had been slumping badly and this line should keep him on all rosters, with the added bonus that any additional time missed by Ricky Rubio and Gary Neal will make him the primary ballhandler quite a bit. Rotoworld.com
