    • Bench role in the cards for Klay Thompson?
Warriors coach Steve Kerr mentioned the possibility of Klay Thompson coming off the bench should he remain with the team during his end-of-season press conference.

Advice: Thompson’s 2023-24 season came to a brutal end, as he missed all ten field goal attempts and went scoreless in Tuesday’s Play-In tournament loss to the Kings. The veteran guard, one of the all-time great shooters in NBA history, will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer. And a return to the Warriors could depend on how amenable he is to coming off the bench, which is what happened this season. “I thought Klay really showed that he was agreeable to the sixth-man role the second half of the year, even though eventually we put him back in the starting lineup,” Kerr, who noted that the team needs to add more shooting to the roster this offseason, said. “I think that’s got to be an option going forward. I would prefer not to play him 35 minutes.” Thompson’s future in the Bay Area, beginning with whether or not he’ll re-sign with the team, impacts multiple Warriors, including Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody. • Flirts with double-double in win
DeRozan ended with 22 points (10-19 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal over 44 minutes during Wednesday's 131-116 Play-In Game victory over the Hawks.

Advice: DeRozan put together another successful year during his third season with the Bulls. Perhaps the biggest feather in DeRozan's cap is his attendance record, as he's played at least 74 games per season over three years in Chicago. The veteran will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, and the Bulls will likely make a competitive offer unless another team presents an irresistible package. For the time being, DeRozan's focus will be on advancing with a win against Miami. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:46 am
    • DeMar DeRozan pours in 22/6/9/1/1 line vs. Atlanta
DeMar DeRozan posted a full line on Wednesday with 22 points (10-of-19 FGs), six rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block and one triple against the Hawks.

Advice: DeRozan wasn’t the star of the show, but he was able to have an effective night statistically across the board. The Hawks really didn’t have any answers for Chicago’s offense, and DeRozan was no exception. He logged 44 minutes in this game, and he will likely take on a large role once again when they head to Miami to play on Friday. Alex Caruso suffered a foot sprain in this game, and he isn’t expected to play against the Heat, which just means that DeRozan will have to step up even more if they want to make it to the playoffs. • Ice cold in loss
Thompson produced zero points (0-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 118-94 Play-In Game loss to the Kings.

Advice: Thompson turned in arguably his worst performance of the season as the Warriors' disappointing season came to an end at the hands of the Kings. Despite a few bright spots throughout the year, it appears Thompson's days of being a reliable offensive threat could be behind him. His future remains a little clouded, but no matter where he is next season, it is unlikely he will have much fantasy value outside of points and threes. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:56 pm
    • End of the road? Klay Thompson goes scoreless
Klay Thompson missed all 10 of his shots in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings, going scoreless with four rebounds and one assist in 32 minutes.

Advice: If Tuesday’s game happens to be the last Thompson plays as a member of the Warriors, this was a brutal way for him to go out. For the first time in his NBA career, Klay went scoreless in a game he logged at least 12 minutes in. While there were some struggles for him throughout this season, Tuesday was uncharacteristically bad. After providing top-75 per-game value in 2022-23, the expectation was that Thompson would do the same in 2023-24. He wasn’t a terrible fantasy asset, but the top 100 value in 9-cat formats did not match his ADP (75.4). Klay will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer, and the question is what his role will look like with the Warriors (or another team). Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:26 pm
    • Draymond Green records 12/3/6/2 line vs. Kings
Draymond Green played 35 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to Sacramento, amassing 12 points (4-of-8 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers.

Advice: Green was also responsible for three turnovers in the Warriors’ final game of the season, but the overall production was solid. Looking at his season in totality, Draymond certainly had his disciplinary issues, but he also improved as a 3-point shooter. Green made a career-best 39.5% of his 2.3 attempts per game. While the scoring average held steady, fantasy managers can’t overlook Draymond’s improvement as a shooter. Entering the season with a Yahoo ADP of 95, he provided top 100 per-game value in 9-cat formats while finishing just outside the top 80 in 8-cat. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:11 pm
    • Limited in loss Tuesday
Ingram chipped in 11 points (4-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and four assists over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 110-106 Play-In Game loss to the Lakers.

Advice: Ingram was noticeably absent during the fourth quarter, an indication that he is still bothered by a knee injury that cost him the final three weeks of the regular season. New Orleans will now have to win Friday's game against the winner of the Sacramento and Golden State matchup, should they hope to advance to the postseason. While it is likely Ingram will get the starting nod, there is a chance he remains limited based on what we saw Tuesday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:55 pm
    • De’Anthony Melton (back) out Wednesday vs. Miami
De’Anthony Melton (back injury recovery) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.

Advice: While optimism was high when Melton returned to action during the final week of the regular season, he remained restricted regarding playing time. He did not practice on Tuesday and will not be available for the Play-In game against the Heat. Also, it’s unknown if (or when) Melton will be available if the 76ers play their way into the playoffs. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:06 pm
    • Won't play Wednesday
Melton (back/injury recovery) will be unavailable for Wednesday's Play-In Tournament matchup against Miami.

Advice: Melton has logged just five appearances since Jan. 12, being unable to return to 100 percent after initially dealing with a lumbar stress reaction in his spine. Subsequent attempts to return to action have been short-lived, and his absence from Philadelphia's rotation is a notable loss defensively. Win or lose Wednesday, Philadelphia will have another postseason contest in store, but Melton's outlook is currently bleak. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:42 pm
