    • Kobe Bryant (shoulder) to meet w/ doctor Mon
Kobe Bryant (shoulder) has an appointment with a specialist on Monday, after which he'll decide whether to have surgery or pursue a different treatment option.

Advice: ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reiterates that so far "everyone has recommended surgery." It's safe to assume that Kobe is done for the season but he's performing his due diligence to explore every rehab possibility, and he and the Lakers should make an official announcement early this week. Assuming he does have rotator cuff surgery, he'd be looking at approximately six months of recovery. Rotoworld.com

    • Trevor Ariza shoots 3-of-14 in win vs. Lakers
The Rockets cruised to a win in L.A. on Sunday, with Trevor Ariza chipping in nine points, one 3-pointer, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Advice: He turned the ball over just once but his line was marred by a 3-of-14 mark from the field. Ariza is taking a lofty 61.4 percent of his attempts from downtown this season, which is a double-edged sword for fantasy owners -- 2.3 triples per game are excellent, but they're attached to a 37.4 percent shooter. It's a caveat his owners will happily live with, as he's still returning top-50 value on a season-long basis. Rotoworld.com

    • Ryan Kelly scores two points in another start
Ryan Kelly struggled in another start for L.A. with two points, one rebound, three assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Sunday's home loss.

Advice: Kelly will get an extended audition as a starter and his role is relatively secure with Kobe Bryant (shoulder) out of commission. Whether he'll have any fantasy appeal remains to be seen, however, and nearly all owners should observe him from a safe distance. Rotoworld.com

    • Nick Young benched Sunday, logs eight minutes
Nick Young went scoreless in eight minutes off the Lakers' bench on Sunday, and Byron Scott said afterward that Young looked as though he "didn't want to be here."

Advice: There was no swag tonight as Young missed both of his shot attempts and turned the ball over three times in a sloppy performance which led Scott to bench him. L.A.'s rotations are a complete mess and Young doesn't do much beyond scoring on a good night, so owners must brace themselves for some turbulent production. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden still on fire, scores 37 points
James Harden ran roughshod over the Lakers' defense in Sunday's road win, scoring 37 points (12-of-20 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs) with four 3-pointers, eight boards, five assists, two steals and six turnovers.

Advice: Harden is averaging 37.0 points over Houston's past four games and continues to lead the NBA in scoring at 27.3 points per game, well ahead of LeBron James (26.0), Kevin Durant (25.3), Anthony Davis (24.2), DeMarcus Cousins (24.2) and Carmelo Anthony (24.1). Just get comfortable and enjoy the fireworks. Rotoworld.com

    • Josh Smith solid in 25 minutes vs LAK defense
Josh Smith chipped in across the board in an easy win vs. the Lakers, scoring 11 points with one 3-pointer, five rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and one turnover in 25 minutes vs. L.A.

Advice: Smith has been nowhere near standard-league value since coming to Houston, especially when you factor in his ridiculous 36.7 percent FT shooting over the past month. Terrence Jones' eventual return is another threat to Smith, so don't let the occasional efficient performance lull you into wasting a roster spot on him. Rotoworld.com

    • Andre Iguodala returns to action on Sunday
Andre Iguodala returned to action on Sunday vs. the Celtics, finishing with eight points, three boards, one assist, one steal and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Advice: He sat out for Friday's game in order to get some extra rest, so he should be fine moving forward. However, his role has diminished rapidly since last season, and there are simply not enough minutes to go around for Iguodala to make an impact in most leagues. Owners in standard leagues can safely leave him on the wire until further notice. Rotoworld.com

    • Wilson Chandler hangs 20 points on Wizards
Wilson Chandler filled up the stat sheet on Sunday with 20 points, four 3-pointers, nine rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and only one turnover in 38 minutes.

Advice: Chandler shot 8-of-19 overall and he isn't very efficient (41.3 percent FGs this season), but fantasy owners won't complain with tonight's solid line. The Nuggets are reportedly willing to trade him and they've been linked to the Nets and Brook Lopez, so be mindful that Chandler's value could decrease overnight. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari logs 15 minutes in defeat
Danilo Gallinari had seven points in 15 minutes off the bench vs. Washington, while chipping in one 3-pointer, one rebound and two assists.

Advice: It's nice to see Gallo healthy and productive, but he has a long way to go before regaining the trust of fantasy owners. Leave him on the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMar DeRozan breaks out of funk w/ 25 points
DeMar DeRozan snapped a three-game offensive skid with 25 points on Sunday, adding one 3-pointer, six rebounds, four assists and two steals without any turnovers in 35 minutes.

Advice: The 25 points tied his season high, and they're a welcome sight after his recent three-game stretch of 4.7 points on 17.7 percent shooting. The Raptors have righted their ship with three wins in the past four games but they still have to shore up their defense, which is allowing 100.6 points per game (10th most in the league). • Kyle Singler shoots just 1-of-3 vs. Toronto
Kyle Singler took only three shots in 26 minutes on Sunday, making one of them to finish a loss to the Raptors with four points, two rebounds and two assists.

Advice: Singler hasn't been worth owning in 14-team leagues this season and he'll now have an adjustment period with D.J. Augustin taking the reins of Detroit's offense. There's not enough upside here to bother with him outside of deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • P.J. Tucker shoots 1-of-8 in loss to Clippers
P.J. Tucker struggled throughout Sunday's loss to the visiting Clippers, scoring three points on 1-of-8 shooting in 30 minutes of action.

Advice: His lone make was a 3-pointer and he added three rebounds and two assists, but didn't have any defensive stats as the Suns dropped their second straight game. Tucker has quietly established top-80 value as a full-time starter in Phoenix, so owners just have to shrug off the occasional dud. Rotoworld.com
      Yesterday, 6:59 pm
    • Gerald Green quiet in 20 minutes Sunday
Gerald Green played 20 minutes vs. the Clippers on Sunday, shooting 2-of-9 from the field (2-of-6 from deep) to finish with six points, two assists and one block.

Advice: He was rolling along in his last four games, averaging 14.8 points and 2.5 triples, but the bottom can fall out unexpected for Green thanks to Phoenix's stacked backcourt rotation. He's been a liability in 12-team leagues over the past month, so think twice before deploying him in the Suns' upcoming three-game week. Rotoworld.com

    • Tyreke Evans has 24 pts, season-high 12 dimes
Tyreke Evans racked up 24 points and a season-high 12 assists in Sunday's home win vs. the Mavericks, making 11-of-19 shots with one 3-pointer, one steal and three turnovers.

Advice: Evans has taken on a much larger role offensively with Jrue Holiday (stress reaction) out of the lineup, and he'll continue to do so for about 2-4 more weeks. His efficient shooting is a reliable trend since teams still can't keep him out of the paint -- he's taking a career-high 56.6 percent of his shots within three feet of the rim. Rotoworld.com
      Yesterday, 6:31 pm
    • Chandler Parsons disappears vs. Pelicans
Chandler Parsons disappeared on Sunday with six points on 2-of-6 shooting, one rebound, three turnovers and no other stats to his credit.

Advice: Prior to the Mavs' trade for Rajon Rondo, Parsons was averaging 16.7 points, 2.2 threes, 5.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steals, while shooting 44.8 percent from the field. Since the trade he's dipped in points (-3.1), threes (-0.6), boards (-1.1), assists (-0.5) and steals (-0.2). That's reduced him to late-round value, and owners itching to trade him would need to do so at a steep discount. Stay patient. Rotoworld.com

    • Rodney Stuckey hits 6-of-10 FGs for 15 points
Rodney Stuckey started Sunday's game and scored 15 points with six assists and one steal, helping Indy hang on for a 106-99 win in Orlando.

Advice: He made 6-of-10 FGs and 2-of-2 FTs with one 3-pointer to his credit, assuming a bigger role in the absence of C.J. Miles (groin). Miles is day-to-day and George Hill (groin) should play more minutes in the near future, so unfortunately Stuckey is hard to rely on in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Tobias Harris still benched, scores 11 points
Tobias Harris came off the bench again on Sunday, notching 11 points on 2-of-5 FGs and 6-of-9 FTs, with seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in 30 minutes of action.

Advice: This time it was rookie Aaron Gordon vaulting ahead of Harris into the starting lineup. The Magic rank 25th in bench scoring (15.9 ppg), so it's understandable that coach Jacque Vaughn wants Harris' firepower with the reserves, but it's a lousy development for fantasy owners. There are no guarantees that Harris will resume starting, but this has all the hallmarks of an ideal buy-low moment. Rotoworld.com

    • Anthony Bennett (knee) barely plays Sunday
Anthony Bennett (knee) barely played on Sunday, committing one personal foul with no statistics to his credit.

Advice: Bennett has had a few nice moments this season, but he more often resembles the busted draft pick we remember from Cleveland last year. Deep league owners may want to monitor him as the Wolves drift toward an early summer, but he belongs on the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com
      Yesterday, 5:46 pm
    • Thaddeus Young posts 26/6/7 in loss to Hawks
The Wolves lost in Atlanta on Sunday despite a huge game from Thaddeus Young, who scored 26 points (11-of-17 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs) with six rebounds, seven assists and one steal.

Advice: This marks the fourth time in Thad's career that he's racked up at least 25/5/5, and he's finally starting to heat up after a sluggish start in Minnesota. The return of Ricky Rubio should only help Young's fantasy value, which is currently mired in the late rounds, setting the stage for a nice second half of the season. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant's 32 points not enough for OKC
Kevin Durant led the Thunder on Sunday with 32 points on 12-of-23 shooting, as well as six rebounds, nine assists and two blocks, but it wasn't enough to hold off the Cavaliers.

Advice: Durant chipped in one 3-pointer and had only one turnover in 40 minutes, in the latest showcase for his elite fantasy talents. Oklahoma City's defeat dropped their record to .500 again, and they remain 3 1/2 games behind Phoenix for the final playoff spot out West. Rotoworld.com

    • Andre Iguodola is active for Sunday's game
Andre Iguodola is active for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

Advice: Coach Steve Kerr opted to give the veteran some rest on Friday against the Kings, but Iguodola is all set to resume his normal role off the bench for the Warriors. With season averages of just 6.9 points, 3.2 boards and 3 assists per game, owners in standard leagues can do better. Rotoworld.com

    • Jimmy Butler held to five points vs. Miami
Jimmy Butler was held to just five points during Sunday's loss to the Heat, adding five rebounds, two assists, and one steal over 42.5 minutes of action.

Advice: Butler shot just 2-of-8 from the field, so while the minutes were there, the scoring simply wasn't. Luol Deng was playing some vicious defense today, and this was easily Butler's worst game of the season. However, Butler has not had two bad back-to-back games this season, so expect him to bounce-back during Tuesday's matchup with the Warriors. Rotoworld.com

    • Luol Deng scores 15 points grabs 10 rebounds
Luol Deng scored 15 points on 5-of-15 shooting to go with 10 rebounds, four assists, one block, and one turnover during Sunday's win over the Bulls.

Advice: Deng also played some amazing defense against Jimmy Butler, holding him to just 2-of-8 from the field, and it looks like he's over his illness. Keep rolling him out there. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum (wrist) questionable Monday
Nicolas Batum (wrist) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. Brooklyn

Advice: Batum recently admitted that he's dealing with a torn ligament on the outside of his right wrist, and his shot has been off all season (currently a career-low 38.8 percent from the field), so perhaps some rest could be a good thing for him. We'll be monitoring this situation closely, so check back for another update closer to Monday's tip. If Batum is forced to sit, expect Wesley Matthews, Damian Lillard, and LaMarcus Aldridge to get some more shots. Rotoworld.com

    • Anthony Bennett (knee) will be available Sun.
Anthony Bennett (knee) will be available for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: Bennett doesn't do enough statistically to matter in most leagues, and there's a possibility his minutes are kept in check today. With a difficult matchup vs. the Hawks, and a limited role in Minnesota, Bennett can't be considered an option in almost any league. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin (wrist) out Sunday vs. Atlanta
Kevin Martin (wrist) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: Martin was listed as questionable earlier, but he is still dealing with some swelling in his wrist, so he will not play on Sunday. Robbie Hummel will draw another start on Sunday, but the true beneficiaries of Martin's absence remain Andrew Wiggins and Mo Williams. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles (groin) out Sunday vs. Orlando
C.J. Miles (left groin strain) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Magic.

Advice: With Miles unavailable, Rodney Stuckey will likely slide back into the starting lineup. Stuckey is averaging 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists as a starter, and he figures to be a low-end option in daily leagues. C.J. Watson will also likely see some extended minutes. • Kevin Martin (wrist) questionable vs. Hawks
Kevin Martin (wrist) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: He wasn't able to practice on Saturday and he is reportedly still dealing with some swelling in his wrist, so he is probably closer to doubtful. Martin is still worth a stash for his upside in points and 3-pointers, but his owners will have to be patient as he will likely be eased into action when he does return. If Martin can't play, Robbie Hummel will continue to start for Minnesota, but is only an option in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

Anthony Bennett (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Hawks.

Advice: He was unable to practice on Saturday, but there is still no word on how bad the injury is. Bennett will have a limited role in Minnesota as long as Thaddeus Young is active, so his absence won't make a big impact in fantasy leagues. We will pass along further details as they emerge. • Dorell Wright scores 10 in 21 minutes
Dorell Wright scored 10 points with six rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers in 21 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: After basically three halves of no Nicolas Batum (wrist), Wright looks like the best player to grab in fantasy leagues. That said, we have to caution you that he is going to be shuffled in and out of the lineup, so he's not really a reliable asset in even 16-team leagues right now. Maybe coach Terry Stotts trusts him eventually. Rotoworld.com

    • Nic Batum (wrist) admits he has torn ligament
Nicolas Batum admitted on Saturday that he suffered a torn ligament on the outside of his right wrist on Dec. 17.

Advice: It was obvious something was structurally wrong with Batum and now we know what it is. He's aggravated it probably more times than we care to count and the Blazers may still be weighing his treatment options. At this point, he's likely going to miss a week or two. There really isn't a great pickup to make with Batum out. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum (wrist) out for Saturday night
Nicolas Batum (wrist) won't play against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: He almost had no chance to play tonight due to his nagging wrist injury. It's interesting that LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) is playing tonight and maybe Batum's status was a factor in his decision. The Blazers will use about five different guys to fill the void left by Batum, so there's little reason to make a pickup in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

Kyle Singler will play with a mask against the Bucks on Saturday.

    • Kevin Martin (wrist) doesn't practice Sat
Kevin Martin (wrist) did not practice on Saturday.

Anthony Bennett (knee) did not practice on Saturday.

Advice: There's no word of how much he's banged up, but it's not great to hear Bennett is dealing with a knee issue. He had knee problems to start this season, and it was also a problem for him last year. He's more of a deep-league stash in case Thaddeus Young is dealt. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles (groin) doubtful for Sunday
C.J. Miles (groin) is doubtful to play against the Magic on Sunday.

Advice: He did not return from his injury on Friday and it would appear he'll miss a couple games. Miles just can't stay healthy this season and his fantasy owners can probably just find someone else at this point. Expect to see more of C.J. Watson and Rodney Stuckey. Damjan Rudez will also play more. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMar DeRozan struggling since his return
DeMar DeRozan has struggled significantly over his last three games, scoring a combined 14 points over that span.

Advice: Since Terrence Ross was benched, DeRozan has been playing a lot more small forward but he doesn't blame his recent production on the switch. "It's not really about me playing the three, just my whole rhythm and feel of everything," DeRozan said. "Just get that back on track and let it come to me natural, like it was before. I kind of find myself looking for fouls now, instead of it coming naturally to me." To be clear, we fully expect him to be fine and it is just a matter of time before he starts scoring at an elite level again. It may not be a bad idea to float some buy-low offers if his owner is panicking. Rotoworld.com

    • Tobias Harris not a fan of coming off bench
Tobias Harris is not thrilled about coming off the bench for the past two games, but wants to remain professional about it.

Advice: "Do I like it? No," Harris said. "But I'm a professional." It's interesting how he has remained on the bench despite rookie Devyn Marble's uninspiring play in the starting lineup, and one would almost have to start wondering if the reports that Harris wants to join the Knicks as a free agent has anything to do with it. While we still believe Harris will return to the starting lineup sooner rather than later, this is definitely something to keep an eye on going forward. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari returns to action on Friday
Danilo Gallinari (knee) returned to action on Friday, logging 17 minutes with four points on 1-of-7 shooting and that's it.

    • Kelly doesn't do much in 22-minute start
Ryan Kelly started at small forward in Friday's loss to the Spurs, scoring seven points on 2-of-4 shooting with three rebounds and one block in 22 minutes.

Advice: Kelly hasn't done anything of much value this season, but he has flashed potential in the past and as the Lakers turn the page on this season he'll be worth watching. If you're in a 14-16 team league and want to take a flier it's not the craziest thing we've heard of. Rotoworld.com

    • Young scores 17 points with three treys
Nick Young scored 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting with three treys and a 4-of-4 mark from the line in Friday's loss.

Advice: Young didn't have any other stats and while that's not too shocking the 20 minutes is pretty annoying with Kobe Bryant out. Byron Scott played nine players between 19-29 minutes tonight and has been a mess in the fantasy sense, and he hasn't been all that impressive in the reality sense either. But Young should be owned in all formats with an excellent shot to be productive with Kobe Bryant expected to be out for the year. Rotoworld.com

Jimmy Butler scored 20 points on 8-of-18 shooting (no threes) with eight rebounds, six assists and three steals in Friday's win over the Mavs.

Advice: Butler put his foot back on the gas pedal after Derrick Rose's surge slowed him down a bit. Rose scored 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting with three rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and five turnovers, and it wouldn't be surprising if Butler got back some of his touches now that Rose appears to have re-established a foundation for himself. Pau Gasol added 13 points, 16 boards, a steal and a block in the win. Rotoworld.com

    • Deng scores 23 points despite illness
Luol Deng played through an illness in the Heat's 89-87 win over the Pacers on Friday, scoring 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting (including three treys) with five rebounds and three assists.

Advice: Deng looks like he's ready to produce for owners again and he should be in most lineups. Rotoworld.com

    • Overshadowed: James Harden hits game-winner
James Harden hit a game-winning buzzer-beater against the Suns during Friday's 113-111 victory, finishing with 33 points, six rebounds, 10 assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: Just when you thought Harden was going to be the story of the night for a sick crossover to break P.J. Tucker's ankles before he buried a mid-range jumper, Klay Thompson happened. Anyway, Harden is still ridiculous on non-Klay terms over his last three, averaging 37.0 points, 3.7 boards, 7.7 assists, 3.0 steals and 4.3 treys on 51.9 percent from the field. Sadly, Harden won't get to play against Klay again this regular season. That's none of Klay's business, though. Rotoworld.com

    • Tobias Harris comes off the bench again
Tobias Harris came off the bench against the Knicks on Friday with nine points, two rebounds, one assist and two turnovers.

Advice: He came off the bench on Wednesday, as well. Coach Jacque Vaughn liked to bring Harris off the bench last season, but he's unlikely to do it again, especially since they lost both games. Tobias will be a must-start player soon and it could come as soon as Sunday against the Pacers. Rotoworld.com

    • Andre Iguodala to be rested vs. the Kings
Andre Iguodala will not play against the Kings on Friday.

Advice: He'll rest tonight and the Warriors are not even on a back-to-back set. Iguodala rested on Jan. 16 and Harrison Barnes played 40 minutes. Expect to see a little more Leandro Barbosa, Justin Holiday and Shaun Livingston. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles (groin) out for game vs. Heat
C.J. Miles (left groin) will not return against the Heat on Friday.

Advice: He has dealt with groin issues before and he's probably going to miss time. Chris Copeland and Damjan Rudez could get more minutes, but C.J. Watson and Rodney Stuckey may get some additional run. If you're sick of dealing with Miles, we don't blame you for dropping him. Rotoworld.com

James Harden (knee) and Dwight Howard (knee) will start against the Suns on Friday.

Advice: He just can't stay healthy. Whether it's a calf, an eye issue, or anything, Miles just seems to inexplicably miss games this season. Rodney Stuckey and C.J. Watson will get a few more minutes. Miles checked out after six minutes with eight points, one assist and one 3-pointer. Rotoworld.com

    • Ryan Kelly starting for the Lakers
Ryan Kelly will start against the Spurs on Friday.

Advice: It'll be his third start of the season. In his previous two, he averaged 7.5 points, 7.5 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.5 treys. Kelly could be worth a look in deeper leagues for owners needing treys. Of course, he's had a lot of trouble staying healthy. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles starting, Rodney Stuckey to bench
C.J. Miles will start in place of Rodney Stuckey on Friday night against the Heat.

Advice: This move is likely to prepare for George Hill eventually moving into the starting lineup -- Hill is coming off the bench tonight. Miles is going to take a lot of 3-pointers in the first unit and he could have some other stats, but he's really not a reliable fantasy option with his woeful field goal shooting. If you need treys, he's worth a look. Rotoworld.com

    • Luol Deng (illness) expected to play Friday
Luol Deng (illness) is feeling better according to head coach Erik Spoelstra, and he is expected to play Friday vs. Indiana.

Advice: Considering Deng didn't miss the last game, he's looking very likely for tonight's game vs. Indiana. With Deng feeling better, hopefully he'll have a better outing than his 2-of-6-performance form Tuesday. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum (wrist) doubtful for Saturday
Nicolas Batum (wrist) is doubtful to play against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: There is still no word of Batum getting an MRI, but it would appear he's going to miss multiple games. He's been dealing with wrist soreness for over a month and he's been fairly open about how it's having an adverse effect on his shooting. The Blazers will have to use a combination of Dorell Wright, Victor Claver, and Allen Crabbe to play the three. However, Wes Matthews will certainly slide over to small forward, which could also get C.J. McCollum and Steve Blake some minutes. Also, the Blazers will have more minutes available for Meyers Leonard and Thomas Robinson. Yeah, this rotation is a mess. We know. Rotoworld.com

    • Lakers confirm Kobe Bryant has rotator cuff tear
The Lakers confirmed on Friday that Kobe Bryant has been diagnosed with a torn right rotator cuff.

Advice: The team will take the weekend to decide if the Hall of Fame guard will require surgery. Unfortunately, there are multiple reports that Bryant is expected to miss the rest of the season. Bryant seems to be in good spirits and even tweeted, "This is what happens when I pass too much!" Wayne Ellington will get to start and Jordan Clarkson gets in the rotation while the usage rates of Nick Young, Jeremy Lin and Wes Johnson will rise. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin dealing with swelling in wrist
Kevin Martin (wrist) is dealing with swelling his right wrist and will be out until at least Sunday.

Advice: He had to have his wrist drained on Thursday and is still hopeful to play against the Hawks on Sunday. Martin wore a brace at shootaround on Friday and it would appear he's at least making an attempt to play. The oft-injured guard should be a solid player to start while he's on the court, but the injuries are going to make him annoying to own. • Report: Lakers expecting Kobe to miss season
The Lakers are expecting Kobe Bryant (shoulder) to miss the rest of the season due to a torn rotator cuff, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com.

Advice: The announcement will likely come at some point today to make it official, but the Lakers may take the weekend to decide on his treatment. Bryant hasn't been able to complete the last three seasons of his career due to an Achilles injury in 2012-13, a knee injury in 2013-14, and now this shoulder issue this season. He is still going to be under contract for next year and chances are he'll be back. For now, the Lakers will likely add another wing on a 10-day deal while Wayne Ellington starts. Expect Nick Young, Wes Johnson and Jordan Clarkson to play more. Unfortunately, Kobe can be dropped in all redraft leagues once the official word comes. Rotoworld.com

Kevin Martin (wrist) will not play vs. the Pelicans on Friday.

Advice: He left shootaround with a brace on his wrist and told reporters that he's "not ready" yet, which is disappointing since he's been questionable to play in the Wolves' past three games. Owners will simply have to keep him tucked away on the bench a bit longer, while Robbie Hummel continues to fill in at SG without providing fantasy value. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Singler iffy for Saturday w/ broken nose
Kyle Singler (nasal fracture) is questionable for Saturday's game in Milwaukee

Advice: Singler was injured on Wednesday, when he scored 14 points in 22 minutes vs. the Magic. He continues to hold down a starting job but hasn't done much to help fantasy owners, averaging 7.4 points on 42.0 percent shooting, so there's no incentive to gamble on him while his status is in doubt. • Tobias Harris may come off bench again vs NYK
Tobias Harris may come off Orlando's bench again on Friday, according to beat writer John Denton.

Advice: It's surprising that Harris wouldn't overtake struggling starter Devyn Marble, but he should still get a healthy dose of minutes and shot attempts even if he's stuck in the second unit. Keep him active and check back prior to tip-off for updates on Orlando's starting lineup. Rotoworld.com

    • Luol Deng (illness) probable to return Friday
Luol Deng (illness) appears probable to return vs. the Pacers on Friday.

Advice: He's been sick for four days and didn't even travel to Charlotte for Wednesday's game, but he went through shootaround on Friday without any issues. His likely return will send Danny Granger back to the bench, reducing Granger and James Ennis to an afterthought in typical fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin (wrist) questionable for Friday
Kevin Martin (wrist) is questionable to return on Friday vs. New Orleans.

Advice: He was on the Wolves' active roster for Wednesday's game but didn't play, and owners can anticipate an imminent return even if he sits out again vs. the Pelicans. Martin was hot in nine games before his injury, scoring 20.4 points with 2.9 triples per game, and he shouldn't be floating on any waiver wires. Rotoworld.com

Advice: He scored 33 points in 32 minutes during Wednesday's loss to Golden State and we're guessing he'll be fine, but owners should stay tuned for pre-game updates. Harden hasn't missed a game all season and should have extra motivation after recently being snubbed as a starter for the All-Star game. Rotoworld.com

    • Report: Tobias Harris aiming to join Knicks?
Magic F Tobias Harris has the Knicks "atop [his] free agency list," according to NY Post writer Marc Berman.

Advice: The report from a Knicks beat writer cites an unnamed "close friend of Harris," who reportedly said, "He wants to win a championship with the Knicks." Take that for what it's worth. Harris has a $3.4 million qualifying offer this summer and the Magic can match any offer to retain him in free agency, so even if he wants to join the Knicks it may not happen. He returned from a sprained ankle on Wednesday with a 19-point game off the bench, and it's unclear if he'll be back in the starting lineup on Friday. Rotoworld.com

    • Dorell Wright scores one point
Dorell Wright played just 10 minutes against the Celtics on Thursday with one point, one rebound and two steals.

Advice: He was the 11th player to be used tonight and might have been played a lot less had Nicolas Batum (wrist) been able to stay healthy. The vast majority of Wright's minutes came at small forward tonight and he could see minutes in the 20s while Batum is out. However, coach Terry Stotts is going to pick and choose Wright's spots, so he's a risky grab in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum wearing a large wrist brace
Nicolas Batum was wearing a large brace on his right wrist following Thursday's game against the Celtics.

Advice: He could not play through the pain this time after aggravating an old injury. Batum has dealt with a right wrist injury for over the past month and he also dealt with it last season. He said he can't use his wrist right now and he's unsure how much time he's going to miss. In other words, it sounds like he's not going to play on Saturday. Expect to see more of C.J. Advice: This nagging shooting wrist injury just will not go away. Batum has been complaining about his wrist injury for almost two months and the Blazers might give him an MRI to make sure he didn't aggravate anything structurally. Jimmy Butler played just 28 minutes against the Spurs on Thursday with 17 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers on 4-of-9 from the field.

Advice: He was in foul trouble tonight, which is a very rare occurrence for Butler this season. Tonight was just the second game all season in which Butler was below 34 minutes. Jimmy Minutes has turned into Jimmy Buckets and he's starting to come out of his slump to start 2015. He should be viewed as an early-round fantasy asset. Rotoworld.com

    • Nick Young (thumb) is probable for Friday
Nick Young has a sprained right thumb and is listed as probable for Friday's game vs. the Spurs.

Advice: This is the first we are hearing about his thumb but he should be fine for Friday's game. We just learned that Kobe Bryant could be sidelined for quite some time due to a tear in his rotator cuff, so Young shouldn't be floating around many waiver wires at this point. • Kobe Bryant has a tear in his rotator cuff
Kobe Bryant's MRI results revealed a tear of his rotator cuff.

Advice: Not good. Bryant is flying home from San Antonio as we speak and he is expected to be examined by team doctors on Friday morning. Owners shouldn't do anything drastic until we hear all the details, but Bryant could potentially be looking at some serious time on the sidelines. The Lakers are also currently sitting near the bottom of the Western Conference, so it wouldn't be surprising to see them shut Bryant down for the season even if the injury somehow isn't as serious as initially thought. Advice: Well this news isn't going to ease the nerves of Bryant's owners, as this leaves us with more questions than answers. Bryant obviously didn't practice on Thursday, and if we had to guess there is not much of a shot that he plays on Friday against the Spurs. However, until we get any additional information, there is no need to speculate and we will be sure to pass along any further information as soon as it is made available. Danilo Gallinari (knee) will be available for Friday's game against the Celtics.

Advice: Gallo last played on December 20 before suffering a torn meniscus and will likely be eased back into action on Friday. The 26-year-old has only played 24 games over the past two seasons and will be limited to a bench role behind Wilson Chandler, so fantasy owners can feel free to leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

Kobe Bryant (shoulder) is set to have an MRI on Thursday.

Advice: Bryant tweaked his shoulder during a dunk in the third quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Pelicans, but downplayed the severity of his injury after the game. "I’ve played with a torn labrum before. I’m not too concerned about it," Bryant said. The Mamba said he wasn't sure if he'll be able to play against the Spurs on Friday, so his owners will want to check back for more updates. Josh Smith lasted just 14 minutes and finished with five points before being ejected with two technical fouls in Wednesday's ugly loss to the Warriors.

Advice: Smith thought he got fouled when he banged knees with a Warrior, and later tore into the referees. It kind of looked like he wanted to go home early in a blowout loss, as he continues to do "Josh Smith" kind of things, regardless of what uniform he's wearing. He's been a bit of a disaster with the Rockets and things aren't likely to get better once Terrence Jones finally returns from his leg injury. Rotoworld.com

James Harden hit 8-of-18 shots, three 3-pointers and 14-of-16 free throws on Wednesday, finishing with 33 points, four rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block.

P.J. Tucker hit just 1-of-3 shots and scored three points on Wednesday, but added a season-high 13 rebounds, five assists, four steals and a block in 34 minutes.

Nicolas Batum finally broke out of his season-long slump on Wednesday, hitting 9-of-15 shots and six 3-pointers for 27 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a block in 39 minutes.

Advice: Finally! This was easily Batum's best game of the season and it may not be a coincidence that LaMarcus Aldridge was out with a thumb injury. Hopefully this was the game that will get Batum's season jump started, and hopefully he will continue to look for his shot going forward. Advice: We all know Wright is capable of a game like this if given the opportunity, but it's been a long time coming. Aldridge will have another MRI on his thumb on Thursday, so we still don't know how much time he'll miss. We've also seen the Blazers switch things up from game to game when Aldridge is out, but for now, Wright looks like the best short-term pickup option in Portland. Kevin Durant scored a game-high 34 points in his homecoming during a 105-103 overtime win against the Wizards, adding seven rebounds, three assists, one block and four 3-pointers in 45 minutes.

Advice: He is on cruise control and just missed a triple-double against the Heat on Tuesday. Durant has picked it up lately over his last nine, averaging 22.4 points, 5.0 boards, 3.6 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.9 blocks and 1.7 treys. C.J. Miles led the Pacers off the bench with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 7-of-15 shooting in Wednesday's loss at Atlanta.

Advice: Miles is rolling again over his last two games, and is averaging 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.6 3-pointers over his last five games, despite shooting just 39 percent. Tyreke Evans started at point guard again and hit 8-of-19 shots and a 3-pointer for 19 points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal on Wednesday.

Advice: Jrue Holiday is expected to miss the next two to four weeks with a leg injury, meaning Evans should continue to start. DeMar DeRozan logged 33 minutes vs. Memphis on Wednesday, but scored only six points on 2-of-11 shooting with three rebounds and one block.

Advice: DeRozan didn't attempt any 3-pointers and he added just one assist without any steals, making this a thoroughly disappointing line for his patient fantasy owners. The Raptors are 27-15 overall but just 11-8 on the road, and they've fallen from No. 1 in the Eastern Conference to No. 3, with the Bulls trailing by just half a game. Rotoworld.com

    • Nick Young struggles in Kobe's return
Nick Young hit just 3-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for nine points in 19 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: Young went off on Monday with 24 points while Kobe Bryant watched in street clothes, but Kobe was back for tonight's game. Of course, Young has struggled for the most of the season with or without Kobe, but we like his chances better for success on nights when Bryant isn't playing. Advice: He asked out of the game at one point and headed to the locker room once the game was decided to get treatment on his shoulder. Thaddeus Young had 14 points, 11 rebounds and six assists on 7-of-17 shooting in Wednesday's loss to Dallas.

Advice: Young has been playing much better lately, and while he didn't steal the ball tonight, he's been racking them up over his last few games. Over his last five, he's averaging 15.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.2 steals, while shooting just 43 percent. Tobias Harris (ankle) returned from a five-game absence on Wednesday, coming off Orlando's bench to score 19 points with one 3-pointer, five rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes.

Advice: Harris shot 7-of-15 from the field and moved without obvious discomfort, and he should displace Devyn Marble in the starting lineup for Friday's game in New York. Harris has been a top-50 value on a season-long basis and he's safe to activate in all formats, while his return should put a dent in the expanded offensive roles Marble and Channing Frye have enjoyed in his absence. Tobias Harris (ankle) is expected to play and may come off the bench against the Pistons on Wednesday.

Advice: He is on track to play, but coach Jacque Vaughn said it's still possible Harris sits. After playing through an ankle roll on Jan. 9, Harris has missed his last five games. He was playing 35 minutes per night, but he might be a touch under 30 minutes tonight. Basically all the Magic players take a hit on offense with Channing Frye possibly taking the biggest loss. Harris is still a solid player to start in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Kobe Bryant (rest) will play against Pelicans
Kobe Bryant (rest) will play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Advice: He has sat out of the last two game in order to get some additional rest due to general soreness all around his body, so he should be feeling pretty fresh for this contest. Bryant will likely only see around 30 minutes of playing time, but he should still be considered a must-start player when active. Coach Byron Scott also added that Bryant will remain on a minutes limit for at least the next 10-15 games, and said that he may continue to sit him out some nights. This doesn't bode well for Bryant's outlook going forward, and it looks like his owners will see plenty more DNPs before the season is over. Advice: Deng fought through the illness to score eight points in 29 minutes on Tuesday, but he'll now get a few days to fully recuperate before Friday's home game vs. Indiana. James Ennis and Danny Granger stand to gain the most in Deng's absence -- Ennis is slightly more attractive if he earns the start at SF, but they're only worth a glance in daily leagues. • Luol Deng plays 29 minutes despite illness
Luol Deng played through an illness vs. OKC on Tuesday, scoring eight points on 2-of-6 shooting with one 3-pointer, four rebounds and one assist in 29 minutes.

Advice: Deng has quietly posted mid-round value with the Heat thanks to balanced production and a sizeable role offensively -- his 20.3 usage rate is just below his career average, and his 57.8 percent True Shooting marks a career high. He's also posting a solid PER of 17.0, his highest since the 2007-08 season, and it's easy to see why the 7th-seed Heat aren't eager to trade him. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant nears triple-double w/ zero TOs
The Thunder won on the road on Tuesday behind Kevin Durant's near triple-double of 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.

Advice: Durant fell hard and appeared to injure his right elbow during the second half, but shook it off and confirmed that he'll play on Wednesday. He went 0-of-8 from downtown but still finished 9-of-24 from the field, while chipping in four steals and one block without any turnovers in 39 minutes. The moment his fantasy owners have awaited finally arrived this week, as he leapfrogged Anthony Davis and James Harden to return No. 1 fantasy value over his past four games. Rotoworld.com

    • Tobias Harris questionable to play Wednesday
Tobias Harris suffered a "pretty bad sprain" when he rolled his ankle on Jan. 9, but he's improved enough to be questionable for Wednesday's game.

Advice: "It's getting better," Harris said. "Every day I'm able to do a little bit more and more." The Magic aren't a realistic playoff team and they're likely to play it safe with Harris to avoid any setbacks, so owners should prepare alternatives in case he misses his sixth straight game. • Luol Deng (illness) starting Tuesday vs. OKC
Updating a previous report, Luol Deng (illness) will start on Tuesday vs. OKC.

Advice: Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Hassan Whiteside will join Deng in the starting lineup. Get him active for what will be an up-tempo game with the Thunder. Rotoworld.com

    • Luol Deng (illness) looking likely for Tues.
Luol Deng (illness) looked good while going through a pregame workout according to beat writer Ira Winderman, and he's looking probable for Tuesday's game vs. OKC.

Advice: Deng will have a tough matchup against OKC tonight, but with just two games being played, he's one of the better options. Stay tuned for an official update on Deng's status, but it is looking like he'll play, so feel free to get him active. Rotoworld.com

    • Luol Deng (illness) a game-time decision Tues
Luol Deng (illness) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game vs. OKC.

Advice: Head coach Erik Spoelstra said he isn't sure if Deng will play tonight, so if he is forced to sit, Danny Granger would likely slide into the starting lineup. However, Granger is averaging a meager 5.5 points and 1.0 three-pointer through two starts this season, and with a tough matchup vs. OKC, he's not a great option in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin (wrist) headed for a GTD on Wed.
Kevin Martin (wrist) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against Dallas.

Advice: Martin sounded optimistic when talking about his chances about suiting up tomorrow, and said he will base his decision on how he feels when he wakes up in the morning. It's unclear if Martin will be on a minutes restriction upon his return, but given his upside, he needs to be owned in all leagues at this point. His return will likely hurt the value of Shabazz Muhammad (abdominal strain). Rotoworld.com

    • Kobe Bryant questionable Wednesday vs. NO
Kobe Bryant did not practice on Tuesday, and he is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: We'll have a better idea of Bryant's status following Wednesday's shootaround, but it's worth noting that head coach Byron Scott thinks he will play. However, if he is forced to sit, look for Wayne Ellington to draw another start, with Wes Johnson, and Nick Young seeing an uptick in value. Rotoworld.com

Tobias Harris (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pistons.

Advice: Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn said he's eager to see how Harris does during Tuesday's practice, but added that the forward's status for Wednesday is unclear. We'll know more after practice, but Channing Frye would remain the biggest fantasy beneficiary if Harris sits for a sixth consecutive game on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

    • Nick Young says you can't turn Swaggy P off
Nick Young told reporters that Swaggy P can't be turned off after Monday's loss to the Suns.

Advice: Young had one of his best games of the season with Kobe Bryant on Monday as he scored 24 points to go along with four rebounds, three, assists, and two steals off the bench. "They told me you can’t turn Swaggy off," Young said after the game. "You made this guy so you gotta be him." It's unclear exactly who "they" and "you" are in Young's statement, but Swaggy P should be owned in standard fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Young scores 24 points with full stat line
Nick Young hit 7-of-12 shots (including four threes) for 24 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steal in 26 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Advice: Young also added 6-of-7 free throws for good measure and he's hot again, giving owners a preview of what a good night without Kobe Bryant might look like in the last third of the season. He should be owned in all standard formats. Rotoworld.com

    • Batum says wrist injury hurting his shot
Nicolas Batum hit just 2-of-8 shots (including a late three) for eight points, four rebounds and four assists in the Blazers' 98-94 win over the Kings on Monday.

Advice: Batum said after the game that his right (shooting) wrist is hurting him and that he has been pushing the ball 'right' on his shot as a result. He added that he has taken hundreds of jumpers during practice to try and fix this, which doesn't seem logical if he needs the rest, but he also cited that the team needs him with Robin Lopez out -- which also doesn't make too much sense. What does make sense is that he wants to play through injury like many players, and the All Star break couldn't come sooner for him. Rotoworld.com

    • Wright could get more time with Aldridge hurt
Dorell Wright logged 16 minutes off the bench on Monday, scoring nine points on 3-of-6 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Advice: Wright has gotten starts in the past when LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) has missed time, but his history converting those starts into value has been checkered. He's a desperation plug-and-play if Aldridge misses Wednesday's game against the Suns, which seems likely, with the chance to earn greater fantasy consideration with a solid performance in standard formats. • DeRozan goes 0-for-9, Raptors survive and win
DeMar DeRozan missed all nine of his field goal attempts in Monday's win over the Bucks, finishing with three rebounds and four assists to go with his goose egg in the scoring column.

Advice: We'll cut him some slack and call this rust but he has a way to go to match the Team USA hype from this summer. Obviously he should remain owned in all formats. Rotoworld.com

    • Harden drops season-high 45 points on Indy
James Harden scored a season-high 45 points in the Rockets' 110-98 win over the Pacers on Monday, hitting 12-of-18 shots (7-of-12 3PTs, 14-of-15 FTs) with one rebound, seven assists, four steals and one block.

Advice: Monster. Harden is fantasy's No. 1 producer in 8-cat leagues and No. 3 in 9-cat formats when measuring on a per-game basis. His consistency and durability come with way less heartburn than some of his fellow elite, too. Dwight Howard went for 14 and 17 with one block in the win. Rotoworld.com

    • Smith has another bad fantasy outing
Josh Smith hit just 3-of-11 shots for six points, seven rebounds, three assists and one steal in 27 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Advice: Smith missed both of his 3-pointers and his only free throw to boot. He has played well below the cut line in most standard leagues and owners can leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Miles scores 23 points, hits four threes
C.J. Miles scored 23 points off the bench on Monday, hitting 9-of-18 shots (including four threes) with six rebounds, two assists and five steals in 33 minutes.

Advice: Miles is hit or miss but the hits have been big enough to keep owners happy lately as a late-round value over the past two weeks. He is going to have a hard time keeping things up when George Hill returns and takes away a bunch of touches, and his injury history isn't the best, so owners should probably ride him until the wheels fall off and start looking for other options. • Tyreke Evans scores 23 points vs. Knicks
Tyreke Evans started slow against the Knicks during a loss on Monday, finishing with 23 points, nine rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He made 9-of-20 from the field and tried to keep the Pelicans in this game down the stretch. Evans has been running the offense for the past three games and that could continue with Jrue Holiday (ankle) possibly out for a couple more games. Hopefully, the team is more forthcoming with the news on Jrue this time around. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Singler cools off in Monday's road loss
Kyle Singler cooled off vs. the Hawks on Monday, making 2-of-7 shots with one 3-pointer to finish with five points, four boards and one assist.

Advice: He added a steal without any turnovers in 22 minutes, but this was a predictable letdown after watching him score 20 points vs. the Sixers' defense on Saturday. Although he continues to hold down a starting job in Detroit, Singler only provides a trickle of scoring and 3-pointers for deep-league owners. Rotoworld.com

    • Thaddeus Young scores 18 points vs. Hornets
Thaddeus Young was the lone offensive bright spot against the Hornets during an ugly 105-80 loss on Monday, scoring a team-high 18 points with four rebounds, two assists and three steals in 32 minutes.

Advice: He is coming off a 22-point game on Saturday and is heating up at the right time. Young was in jeopardy of losing his starting job a few weeks ago, but he should be able to keep it for now. Although, Shabazz Muhammad (oblique) will likely threaten him and keep him on thin ice. Young should remain owned in standard leagues despite the trade rumors. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin (wrist) will not play on Monday
Kevin Martin (wrist) will not play on Monday against the Hornets.

Advice: Martin was listed as questionable for the first time coming into this one, but he's still not ready to go. With Shabazz Muhammad (abdominal strain) also sidelined, Andrew Wiggins will continue to be the focal point of what the Timberwolves do offensively. Martin is very close to a return, and could be back as soon as Wednesday's contest. Rotoworld.com

Kevin Durant led the Thunder's absurdly efficient offense on Sunday, scoring a team-high 21 points on 7-of-10 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs, with 11 rebounds and eight assists.

Advice: He also had one steal and one block in a mere 28 minutes of action, and has resumed MVP-caliber play since returning to action on Dec. 31. The win brought OKC back to .500 with a 20-20 record, leaving them just three games behind the Suns for the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMar DeRozan scores 22 points on Sunday
DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points on 7-of-18 shooting during Sunday's loss to the Pelicans, adding three rebounds, one 3-pointer, one assist, one steal, and one turnover.

Advice: DeRozan also shot 7-of-9 from the stripe, making this your prototypical DeRozan line. He also logged 35.9 minutes, and he looks to be fully recovered from his groin injury that sidelined him for all of December. Before that extended absence, DeRozan had only missed three games over the past four seasons, so hopefully he'll be able to remain on the court for the rest of the year. He has mid-round upside. • Tyreke Evans hits game-winner on Sunday
Tyreke Evans filled up the stat sheet during Sunday's win over the Raptors, scoring 26 points (including a game-winning layup), with five rebounds, five assists, one 3-pointer, one steal, and four turnovers.

Advice: Evans was both aggressive and efficient in this one shooting 9-of-14 from the field and 7-of-9 from the line, and this game will make Friday's disappointing effort a distant memory. It's unclear how long Jrue Holiday (ankle) is going to be out of the lineup, but Evans should continue to start at point guard for as long as Holiday is sidelined. He's averaging 18.1 points, 5.2 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals as a starter for New Orleans. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin (wrist) questionable for Monday
Kevin Martin (wrist) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. Charlotte.

Advice: This is the first time Martin has been listed as questionable since fracturing his wrist back in November. He has gone through multiple full-contact practices, so he should not be floating around on any waiver wires at this point. It's not clear if he'll have a minutes restriction upon his return, and it'll be interesting to see if how he works alongside the now surging Andrew Wiggins. Shabazz Muhammad (abdominal strain) will likely take the biggest hit with the return of Martin. Rotoworld.com

Nicolas Batum struggled yet again on Saturday during a 102-98 loss in Memphis, making 1-of-6 from the field for three points with two rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Trying to defend Batum in fantasy has become very old here. In his last three games, he's managed to average just 4.0 points, 3.7 boards, 3.7 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.7 blocks, 0.7 triples and 3.0 turnovers on 16.7 percent from the field. He also has a 13.4 usage rate and is being eliminated from the offense right now. Still, the non-scoring stats are there, so he should remain owned. Rotoworld.com

James Harden didn't show up against the Warriors on Saturday, making 4-of-15 from the field for 12 points with four rebounds, four assists, one steal and no 3-pointers.

Advice: Sometimes when you win, you actually lose, and sometimes when you lose, you actually win. Not this time, though. Harden was a big letdown on the main stage tonight, but he'll bounce back on Monday against the Pacers. Rotoworld.com

    • Thaddeus Young scores 22 points in win
Thaddeus Young scored 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting on Saturday vs. the Nuggets, adding six boards, five assists and three steals in 42 minutes.

Advice: It was surprisingly just his fifth 20-plus point game of the season, and his owners can only hope that he builds off this momentum because he has been a major disappointment in Minnesota. Young has been linked in several trade rumors over the past few days, so it's not out of the question that he is traded to a more suitable location. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Singler scores 20 points vs. Philly
Kyle Singler scored 20 points with two rebounds, one assist, one steal and six 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday.

Advice: He was hot early with three 3-pointers in the first quarter. Singler scored just 17 points combined in his previous three games, so there's little reason to be excited about this one. He's only an option in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles has another awful game
C.J. Miles made 2-of-13 from the field for five points with five rebounds against the Hornets on Saturday.

Advice: He missed all eight shots from deep and even air-balled one. If one thing is clear on Miles, it’s that he has a green light from deep. He’s taken 8.1 attempts from beyond the arc in his previous eight games. Besides that and scoring in the mid-teens, there’s not much else to his fantasy value while he’s going to shoot below 40 percent from the field on a fairly high volume. Rotoworld.com

Luol Deng scored 25 points on 11-of-18 shooting with six rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in Friday's road win over the Kings.

Advice: The Kings can't defend anybody right now and Deng took advantage of that. Considering his mileage and injury risk, owners might want to float a few offers to see what they can get in return. Rotoworld.com

Nick Young busted out of a slump with 23 points on 4-of-9 shooting, two threes, two boards and a season-high 13-of-13 makes from the foul line on Friday.

Advice: Young has played well enough to be owned in all 12-team formats this year, but his ups and downs might have him on benches or even the waiver wire for stretches. If anything happens to Kobe down the stretch, he could add a couple of rounds to his value real quick. Rotoworld.com

    • Thaddeus Young scores 13 in 37 minutes
Thaddeus Young scored 13 points with eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and one turnover against the Suns on Friday.

Advice: His name is popping up in trade rumors and the Wolves would likely be willing to unload him for a mid-first draft pick or another package. Young's season-long slump has been especially bad over his last five, making 36.4 percent from the field for averages of 10.6 points, 6.0 boards, 3.0 assists, 2.6 steals and 0.8 treys. His value is too low to try and trade him. Rotoworld.com

Kevin Durant hit 14-of-18 shots in the Thunder's win over the Warriors on Friday, finishing with 36 points, nine rebounds, four assists and one steal.

Nicolas Batum scored five points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer against the Spurs on Friday.

Advice: He didn't have his wrist brace on for the first time since his injury, but that still didn't cure him. Batum has been one of the biggest letdowns in the entire league and something just isn't right. His numbers after the break last season were terrific, so hopefully he can do it again. Jimmy Butler had a season-high six steals against the Celtics on Friday with 22 points, five rebounds, two assists and one turnover.

Advice: Finally. Butler was in a serious funk due to his shot not falling, but he was rolling tonight. He used to live on jumpers last season, and now he's able to get to the rim to help his field goal percentage. We should see the Jimmy from the first two months and not the one from the past two weeks. He's a top-20 asset. Rotoworld.com

DeMar DeRozan scored 25 points against the Hawks on Friday with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He made 11-of-18 from the field in his 32 minutes of action. Clearly, the Raptors have dropped his minutes limit and he should be on his way to his season average of 34 soon enough. DeRozan was below 40 percent from the field before his injury, but he's buried 62.5 percent in his last two. He is safe to start everywhere. Rotoworld.com

C.J. Miles hit just 3-of-10 shots (no threes) for six points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 27 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Advice: Miles is as inconsistent as they come and an overall injury risk, though his sporadic bursts throughout the past month have made him valuable enough to own during that time. He has just top-200 value in 25 mpg on the season, though, highlighting how owners are chasing bad money by turning to Miles when he gets hot. Rotoworld.com

Kyle Singler managed just two points on 1-of-4 shooting with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 25 minutes on Monday.

Danilo Gallinari (knee) got up some shots prior to Friday's game, and said that he is targeting a return for Denver's game against Boston on Jan. 23.

Advice: Gallinari hasn't looked right for most of the season, and he's putting up some of the worst numbers since his rookie year with averages of 7.8 points and 1.1 three-pointers on 36.0 percent shooting. He's going to be playing limited minutes behind Wilson Chandler, and he's well off the standard league radar. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Report: MIN willing to move Thaddeus Young?
The Timberwolves are reportedly willing to move Thaddeus Young as part of their ongoing rebuilding effort.

Advice: The Nets have reportedly talked to Minnesota recently about Young, and they would remain interested in him after any Brook Lopez deal. The Nets have been going with Sergey Karasev, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Alan Anderson at the small forward position, so Young would be a clear upgrade. It's difficult to speculate how his value would change without knowing the moving pieces, but it would be tough for him to be any worse than he's been so far this season in Minnesota. Stay tuned. • Andre Iguodala (rest) out Friday vs. OKC
Andre Iguodala (rest) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Head coach Steve Kerr said that Shaun Livingston will play heavy minutes tonight with Iguodala out of the lineup, so he could make for a decent low-budget plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Harrison Barnes will also have the opportunity for extended minutes, although he'll draw a difficult matchup vs. Kevin Durant of the Thunder, so he makes for a risky play in daily leagues. • Tyreke Evans says he'll start at PG on Friday
Tyreke Evans said that he will start at point guard for Friday's game against the Sixers.

Advice: It sounds like Jrue Holiday (ankle) won't play, but we're still waiting for official confirmation as the Pelicans are currently listing him as a game-time decision. If Holiday is indeed ruled out, Evans will get all the minutes he can handle in a dream matchup against the Tankers, and he'd make for a fine play in daily leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com
