  • Hansbrough (shoulder) practices in full Thurs
Tyler Hansbrough (shoulder) went through a full practice on Thursday, so there's a possibility he'll be able to suit up for Friday's game vs. Dallas.

Advice: Hansbrough is averaging 3.4 points and 3.8 rebounds on the season, and has gone scoreless in his past four outings, so whether he plays or not should be of no concern to owners in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Ryan Kelly (hamstring) out until January?
Coach Byron Scott said on Thursday that he doesn't expect Ryan Kelly (hamstring) to be ready to play until 2015.

Advice: Kelly injured his left hamstring back on October 1, and then injured his right hamstring on November 16. He just hasn't been able to stay healthy, and given the tricky nature of hamstring injuries it's no surprise that Scott is expecting Kelly to miss some time. Even when he returns to the active roster, he's going to be playing behind Carlos Boozer, Jordan Hill, Robert Sacre, and Ed Davis, so his upside is essentially non-existent. Kelly doesn't belong on a roster in any league. Rotoworld.com

  • Cory Joseph questionable for Friday vs Kings
Cory Joseph (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Kings.

Advice: Joseph is only averaging 7.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists this season, so Joseph's status means more to the injury-depleted Spurs than it does to fantasy owners. If Joseph is again unable to play, Manu Ginobili and Marco Belinelli would handle the ball when Tony Parker is on the bench. Rotoworld.com

  • James Young available for Friday vs Bulls
James Young will be available for the Celtics' game against the Bulls on Friday.

Advice: Young practiced with the Celtics on Thursday after a short stint in the D-League and is available for Friday's game, according to head coach Brad Stevens. While Young has potential to help the Celtics in future seasons, he's unlikely to provide any fantasy value this season. Rotoworld.com

  • Mavericks reassign Ricky Ledo to D-League
The Dallas Mavericks have reassigned Ricky Ledo to the D-League.

Advice: Ledo has only averaged 3.0 minutes over 11 games to start the season, so this move comes as no surprise. The rookie will now report to the Texas Legends and continue to hold no fantasy value. Rotoworld.com

  • Marcus Smart will not play vs Bulls Friday
Marcus Smart (ankle) will not play against the Bulls on Friday.

Advice: Smart had been targeting this game for his return, but was unable to finish Wednesday's practice. The rookie will likely now target a return next week, but he won't have much fantasy value upon his return. Rotoworld.com

  • Gee's up: Alonzo gets 18 minutes
Alonzo Gee picked up 18 minutes against the Suns on Wednesday with 11 points, five rebounds, one assist and two turnovers.

Advice: He has seen playing time on occasion and even played over Kenneth Faried down the stretch in a game earlier this season. The Nuggets will likely throw him out there for minutes in the low 20s with Danilo Gallinari (knee) and Randy Foye (knee) hurt. He's only an option in deep leagues, of course. Rotoworld.com

  • Zach LaVine plays OK in start on Wed.
Zach LaVine started in place on Mo Williams (illness) on Wednesday against the Bucks during a 103-86 loss, scoring 12 points with three rebounds, four assists, two steals, three turnovers and five fouls in 37 minutes.

Advice: Williams is not expected to be out much longer and will travel with the team. LaVine hasn't really done much to warrant more than 22 minutes per game and there are just going to be too many negatives to his fantasy value. Additionally, tonight was the first time in NBA history four teenagers, LaVine, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins, were on the court at the same time. Rotoworld.com

  • Chase Budinger plays just 14 minutes
Chase Budinger played just 14 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday with seven points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He backed up Andrew Wiggins and Corey Brewer tonight, but he was still nowhere near 20 minutes. The return of Thaddeus Young seems like it's going to impact Budinger a little more than anticipated, so he's only an add in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 11:28 pm
  • Ramon Sessions has a bad game in start
Ramon Sessions had just eight points with three rebounds, three assists and five turnovers in 35 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Advice: The Kings apparently need Darren Collison (quad) back. Sessions is making just 34 percent from the field on the season and hasn't really been able to perform like he did after the break last season. Collision should be back soon, so Sessions has little value right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Cory Joseph out Wednesday w/ sprained ankle
Cory Joseph (ankle) will not play vs. the Pacers on Wednesday, as expected.

Advice: Joseph was doubtful to play but he remains day-to-day, so he could be back as soon as Friday's game vs. the Kings. The Spurs don't have a pure backup PG but they're comfortable handing the ball to Marco Belinelli and Manu Ginobili. Rotoworld.com

  • Zach LaVine starts w/ Williams (illness) out
Zach LaVine will start at PG for the Wolves on Wednesday due to Mo Williams' absence with an illness.

Advice: LaVine has started four games this season and his averages are a cautionary tale for fantasy owners -- 7.5 points on 34.4 percent shooting, 3.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.3 steals and 3.3 turnovers. Williams is day-to-day and LaVine is best left untouched in standard formats. Rotoworld.com

  • Cameron Bairstow struggles in first NBA start
Bulls rookie Cameron Bairstow earned his first career start at PF on Tuesday, notching two points, two rebounds, one assist and one block in 19 minutes.

Advice: He filled in at PF due to the absence of both Joakim Noah (knee, eye) and Taj Gibson (knee), but racked up four fouls and struggled defensively, which won't endear him to Tom Thibodeau. As tonight's line indicates, Bairstow can be ignored for fantasy purposes. Rotoworld.com

  • Ramon Sessions scores 15 pts w/ six assists
Ramon Sessions had 15 points, one 3-pointer, three rebounds, six dimes and two steals as a fill-in starter on Tuesday, taking the place of Darren Collison (quad).

Advice: Collison is dealing with a bruised quad and is day-to-day, which leaves Sessions as a shaky fantasy option for Wednesday's road game in Houston. This was his third double-digit scoring performance of the season, and the third game in which he's made a 3-point shot. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 8:45 pm
  • Cameron Bairstow starting for Bulls on Tues.
Bulls F Cameron Bairstow will start Tuesday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Joakim Noah (eye, knee) and Taj Gibson (ankle) are out and Pau Gasol is filling in at center, and coach Tom Thibodeau likely didn't want to disrupt his bench by starting Nikola Mirotic at PF. Bairstow has played a total of 11 minutes this season and fantasy owners should leave him on the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com

  • Cory Joseph (ankle) doubtful for Wednesday
Cory Joseph (ankle) is being listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: If Joseph is unable to play, Manu Ginobili will be asked to do a little more as the Spurs backup point guard, and Tony Parker will see some extended minutes. • Ramon Sessions (knee) probable for Tuesday
Ramon Sessions (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Tuesday's game vs. New Orleans.

Advice: With Darren Collison (quad contusion) being listed as questionable, Sessions could be in line for a start on Tuesday. However, if both Sessions and Collison are ruled out, Ray McCallum would get all the minutes he can handle at point guard, and would be a fine plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Stay tuned. • Ramon Sessions is questionable for Tues.
Ramon Sessions (knee) is questionable to face the Pelicans on Tuesday.

Advice: He has a right knee strain, so it's a muscle issue for the backup point guard. Sessions does have a decent chance to play and he would see big minutes if Darren Collison (quad) needs to sit out. If both are out, it'll be Ray McCallum at the point. Rotoworld.com

Chase Budinger chipped in a season-high 11 points in the Wolves' home loss to the Kings on Saturday.

Advice: He made 3-of-6 shots including two 3-pointers, while adding two rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes off the bench. Smart was able to do some straight-line movement during Thursday's practice, but still is unable to do anything side-to-side. He may be able resume practicing next week, and after Sunday's game vs. Portland the Celtics don't play again until Friday, Nov. 28.
