DeMar DeRozan leads Bulls with 22 points in finale
DeMar DeRozan finished Friday’s 112-91 loss to the Heat with 22 points (8-of-16 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 41 minutes.
Advice: DeRozan did what he could to lead the way for the Bulls, but Chicago shooting 38.0% from the field was too much for him to overcome on Friday. Not known for his 3-point shooting ability, Deebo shot 10-of-16 from beyond the arc in Chicago’s last four games. The 35-year-old wing will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and while the Bulls have expressed interest in bringing him back, it’s fair to wonder if running it back with essentially the same roster is the best idea. Zach LaVine (foot) and Lonzo Ball (knee) are rehabbing injuries, as is Patrick Williams (foot). DeRozan can certainly provide top-50 fantasy value; whether or not he does depends on where he’s playing and his role.
