• Solid output in starting role
Hunter finished Thursday's 123-122 overtime victory over Boston with 21 points (8-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 0-3 FT), 13 rebounds and one assist across 40 minutes.

Advice: Hunter has been starting in recent days and delivered another strong showing, as he's taking advantage of the fact that Jalen Johnson (ankle) and Saddiq Bey (knee) are out, with the latter not returning until next season. Hunter has reached the 20-point mark in three of his last five starts and in five of his previous eight appearances overall. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:38 pm
  • Puts up 22 points in win Thursday
Bogdanovic closed with 24 points (9-19 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal across 43 minutes during Thursday's 123-122 overtime win over Boston.

Advice: Bogdanovic's final stat line seems nice, but he struggled from deep once again, and he's gone 4-for-15 from three-point range over his last two games. He's talented enough to bounce back sooner rather than later, though, and he's scoring enough to remain viable in fantasy with most leagues in the playoffs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:37 pm
  • Scores 31 points in loss to ATL
Tatum had 31 points (9-22 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 11-13 FT), 13 rebounds and six assists across 45 minutes during Thursday's 123-122 overtime loss to the Hawks.

Advice: For the second time in less than 10 days, Tatum carried the Celtics against the Hawks, but his efforts were not enough. Tatum has been playing at a very high level all season long, and he is on a scoring tear of late, reaching the 30-point mark in four of his last five contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:29 pm

  • Demolition Man: Herb Jones goes 11/4/4/4/3 in win
Herb Jones posted 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, four steals, three blocks and a triple across 37 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Bucks.

Advice: “I’m a walking nightmare, an arsenal of doom.” Did Sting write those lyrics from the iconic Ghost in the Machine album with a defensive wizard like Jones in mind? It’s quite possible, as the Alabama product’s work on defense has been masterful this season, and he’s haunted many opposing players throughout the campaign. When fantasy managers describe a “full stat line,” Thursday’s performance is exactly what they’re talking about. Jones did a little bit of everything in Thursday’s victory, and he finished with at least three blocks and three steals for the second time this season. Only Anthony Davis and Victor Wembanyama have more such games in 2023-24. Over his last nine, Jones has been a defensive monster, averaging 1.7 steals and 1.8 blocks. His huge defensive numbers have bolstered his otherwise unspectacular averages this season, and Jones is a top-70 fantasy hoops player on a per-game basis. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:05 pm
  • Sets season high in victory
Murphy recorded 15 points (4-13 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals over 39 minutes in Thursday's 107-100 win over Milwaukee.

Advice: Murphy hauled in a team-high and season-high rebound total to go along with a handful of assists and a pair of steals while posting one of two double-doubles for the Pelicans in a winning effort. Murphy has hauled in 10 or more boards in two games this season, with the other such performance occurring Feb. 25 when he hauled in a previous season high of 10 rebounds. Murphy posted his first double-double of the campaign in the victory. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:48 pm
  • Malik Beasley scores 20, hits six treys in loss
Malik Beasley ended Thursday’s loss to the Pelicans with 20 points, two rebounds, a block and six three-pointers across 33 minutes.

Advice: Beasley got off to a good start, scoring 12 points and hitting four three-pointers in the first half. Beasley has been a solid streamer for points and especially triples over the last three weeks, knocking down 3.7 triples across his last nine outings. He’s been awesome in those two categories, but Beasley rarely contributes anything meaningful in any other categories, making him a one-dimensional option and not a must-roster player in 12-team leagues. • Leader from deep in 20-point game
Beasley posted 20 points (6-12 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one block over 33 minutes in Thursday's 107-100 loss to New Orleans.

Advice: Beasley led all players in Thursday's contest in threes made to go along with a pair of rebounds and ending as one of two Bucks players with 20 or more points in a losing effort. Beasley has connected on six or more threes in eight games this season, burying at least five threes in two straight outings. Thursday marked the ninth time Beasley has recorded 20 or more points. • Balanced game despite injury
Middleton tallied seven points (3-12 FG, 1-7 3Pt), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal over 33 minutes in Thursday's 107-100 loss to New Orleans.

Advice: Middleton put forth a well-rounded performance Thursday despite dealing with an ongoing ankle injury, struggling shooting from the field but still managing to post a near double-double while handing out a half-dozen assists in defeat. Middleton has hauled in at least eight boards in eight games this season, adding at least five points and five assists in five of those outings. He has now contributed at least five points, five rebounds and five assists in four straight contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:32 pm
  • Jayson Tatum’s big game not enough in OT loss
Jayson Tatum provided 31 points, 13 rebounds, six dimes and two triples across 45 minutes in Thursday’s OT loss to the Hawks.

Advice: Tatum came into this one on a scoring binge, having scored at least 30 points in four of his last six with averages of 31.3 points and 3.7 triples in that span. He dropped 37 on Atlanta in Monday’s disastrous loss, and he came through with another full stat line in this one. Despite another big performance, Boston dropped a second straight to Atlanta. While it’s worth asking how motivated Boston was to win either of those games after clinching the Eastern Conference, poor late-game play has plagued the Celtics all season, so Thursday’s final score wasn’t totally shocking.
