    • Jayson Tatum scores 28 points in loss to Heat
Jayson Tatum scored 28 points (10-of-20 FGs) and made six of his eight attempts from the charity stripe in the Celtics’ loss to the Heat on Wednesday. He also amassed eight rebounds, three assists, a block, and two made 3-pointers

Advice: Tatum couldn’t quite match his production from Game 1 but was second among all players with 28 points while his rebounding and assist numbers dropped from his previous outing. Poor shooting from the supporting cast and lackluster defense led to Boston’s downfall despite efficient nights from Tatum and Brown. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:56 pm
    • Nears 30 points in balanced game
Tatum notched 28 points (10-20 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-8 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block over 41 minutes in Wednesday's 111-101 loss to Miami in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round.

Advice: Tatum led all players in Wednesday's contest in minutes played while pacing the Celtics in shots made at the free-throw line and ending two points shy of the 30-point mark in a losing effort. Tatum, who also hauled in a team-high-tying rebound total, has impressed so far in the series against Miami, recording at least 20 points and eight boards in both postseason contests. • Struggles continue in loss
Mann racked up five points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 21 minutes during Tuesday's 96-93 loss to the Mavericks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Mann offered very little outside of a highlight putback dunk, bumbling his way to five points as the Clippers gave up home-court advantage to the Mavericks. Although he continues to serve as a starting piece, the return of Kawhi Leonard from a knee injury means Mann could now be viewed as the fifth option on offense. • Scores 20 in tight loss Sunday
McCollum supplied 20 points (9-22 FG, 2-9 3Pt), three rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in 39 minutes during Sunday's 94-92 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: McCollum didn't have his best shooting display Sunday, an issue that has been plaguing him for some time now. He also executed poorly in the final play of the game, where the Pelicans could've gone for a tie or a win. The veteran guard still ended as one of the top scorers for the Pelicans -- a positive sign after he scored a combined 16 points while shooting 7-for-23 in his two Play-In Tournament appearances. • CJ McCollum scores 20 with six assists vs. Thunder
CJ McCollum shot 9-of-22 from the field in Sunday’s 94-92 loss to the Thunder, amassing 20 points, three rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: Neither of New Orleans’ top two available scorers performed well in Game 1, with McCollum and Brandon Ingram (12/6/3/0/1 in 37 minutes) shooting a combined 14-of-39 from the field. The former had a chance to win the game in the final seconds, but his leaner from beyond the arc went long. Oklahoma City has multiple wing defenders capable of giving the Pelicans trouble, beginning with Luguentz Dort, and rookie Cason Wallace guarded McCollum well on the final possession. With Zion Williamson (hamstring) not being evaluated for another two weeks, McCollum and Ingram will have to do most of the heavy lifting if the Pelicans are to have any chance of winning the series. Game 2 is on Wednesday. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:37 pm
    • Does it all in triple-double
Tatum notched 23 points (7-18 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals in 41 minutes during Sunday's 114-94 victory over Miami in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Tatum did a little bit of everything for Boston in its Game 1 victory, leading all players in rebounds and assists while pacing the Celtics in scoring along with a pair of steals. The triple-double was Tatum's first of the 2023-24 season. During the regular season, he surpassed 10 assists in one game while hauling in 10 or more boards 24 times. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:19 pm
    • Jayson Tatum notches triple-double vs. Heat Sunday
Jayson Tatum shot 7-of-18 from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 from the foul line. He totaled 23 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and made one 3-pointer.

Advice: Tatum didn’t shoot particularly well from the field or beyond the arc but did a little bit of everything to stuff the stat sheet. He led all Celtics in points, rebounds, and assists. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:30 pm
    • Not starting Sunday
Green won't start Game 1 of the opening-round series against the Clippers on Sunday, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Advice: With Dallas resting its regulars, Green drew a spot start during the regular-season finale and posted four points, three rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes during a loss to Oklahoma City. Across 24 regular-season appearances off the bench, Green averaged 6.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 21.4 minutes per game. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:06 pm

    • Scores seven in victory
McCollum supplied seven points (3-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 36 minutes during Friday's 105-98 Play-In Game win over the Kings.

Advice: McCollum scored a total of only 16 points across the two Play-In contests, but the Pelicans were still able to press on to the playoffs. The combo guard should bounce back, as he averaged 25.9 points on 47.4 percent shooting over his final 16 regular-season games. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:05 am
