    • Records 35/10 double-double in loss
Maxey notched 35 points (12-22 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), nine rebounds and 10 assists in 44 minutes during Monday's 104-101 loss to the Knicks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Maxey scored 15 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter and was the primary catalyst in a massive rally that erased the Knicks' lead. His three-pointer with 1:09 remaining appeared to seal a Game 2 win for the Sixers, but New York's defense turned the tables in the end. Although Joel Embiid is rounding back into form, Maxey's production will be essential to get the team back into the series. The Maxey-Embiid duo also needs help from the rest of the supporting cast, who scored only 32 points in the loss. Rotowire.com Today, 4:22 am
    • Tyrese Maxey scores game-high 35 points in Game 2
Tyrese Maxey shot 12-of-22 from the field and 6-of-6 from the foul line in Monday’s 104-101 loss to the Knicks, amassing 35 points, nine rebounds, 10 assists, and five 3-pointers in 44 minutes.

Advice: A game-time decision for Game 2 due to an illness, Maxey made his first three shots (all 3-pointers). While he did commit four turnovers, the last of which led to Donte DiVincenzo’s game-winning three with 13.1 seconds remaining, the 76ers’ point guard had a good night overall. Unfortunately for Philadelphia, the efforts of Maxey and Embiid weren’t enough on a night when no other 76ers player scored more than ten points (Tobias Harris). They’ll look to rebound on Thursday when the series shifts to Philadelphia for Game 3. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:02 pm
    • Leading scorer in Game 2 loss
Banchero notched 21 points (9-20 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block over 41 minutes in Orlando's 96-86 loss to Cleveland in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series.

Advice: Banchero led all Orlando players in scoring while handing out a trio of rebounds and assists and swiping a team-high pair of steals in a losing effort in Game 2. Banchero has done all he can to help the Magic in the first two games of the series against the Cavaliers, surpassing the 20-point mark while recording at least three rebounds and steals in both outings. • Paolo Banchero leads ORL with 21 points in Game 2
Paolo Banchero played 41 minutes in Monday’s 96-86 loss to the Cavaliers, accounting for 21 points (9-of-20 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Banchero once again led the Magic in scoring, but, as was the case in Game 1 on Saturday, inefficiency was an issue. After racking up a career-high nine turnovers in the series opener, he was responsible for six more in Game 2. With Orlando’s limited offense, especially considering the team’s lack of consistent perimeter shooters, they can’t afford to give up possessions. If Banchero can’t clean up that aspect of his game, this series may only have two more games. Game 3 is Thursday night in Orlando. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:07 pm
    • Owns boards in 20-rebound game
Allen finished with 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-8 FT), 20 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals over 39 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series.

Advice: Allen did it all to help Cleveland take a commanding 2-0 series lead, leading all players in Monday's contest in rebounds while pacing the Cavaliers in blocks to go along with a pair of steals in a double-double performance. Allen has owned the glass over the first two games of the opening-round series, recording at least 18 rebounds and a double-double in both contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:59 pm
    • Top scorer in Game 2 victory
Mitchell tallied 23 points (9-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series.

Advice: Mitchell once again led Cleveland offensively in another victory in the opening-round series, finishing with a game-high scoring total while handing out a team-high-tying quartet of assists and ending two boards shy of a double-double. The Cavaliers will continue to ride Mitchell's offensive firepower in the postseason, with Mitchell posting at least 23 points in both games of the first round thus far. • Jarrett Allen grabs 20 rebounds in Game 2 victory
Jarrett Allen accumulated 16 points (6-of-10 FGs, 4-of-8 FTs), 20 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocked shots in 39 minutes in Monday’s Game 2 win over Orlando.

Advice: While the Magic like having Jonathan Isaac in the starting lineup to match up with Evan Mobley, the tradeoff in the series’ first two games was Allen looking like a Hall-of-Fame-caliber center. After grabbing 18 rebounds in Game 1, he corralled 20 more in Game 2 to help lead Cleveland to a 2-0 series lead. Orlando isn’t going to bench Paolo Banchero or Franz Wagner to account for Allen, which may put Isaac under the microscope ahead of Thursday’s Game 3. Mobley added 17 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:52 pm
    • Donovan Mitchell scores game-high 23 in Game 2 win
Donovan Mitchell shot 9-of-22 from the field and 3-of-5 from the foul line in Monday’s 96-86 win over Orlando, scoring 23 points with eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: Mitchell’s overall field-goal percentage wasn’t good in Game 2, as Orlando had some success when it managed to keep him from getting the basket. Spida shot 2-of-10 from beyond the arc, but a 7-of-12 night from two made up for that deficiency. Orlando’s issue in Cleveland wasn’t defending so much as the team’s lack of consistent perimeter shooters. Mitchell and the Cavaliers will face a stiffer challenge in Game 3 when the series moves to Orlando, but this appears to be a bad matchup for the Magic. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:43 pm
    • Haynes: Tyrese Maxey will play in Game 2 Monday
Tyrese Maxey (illness) will play in Game 2 against the Knicks on Monday, per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and TNT.

Advice: Maxey was added to the injury report Monday morning, but this illness will not keep him out of the lineup for Game 2. He will continue to play big minutes as Philly looks to steal a game on the road before heading home for Game 3. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:57 pm
