    • Donovan Mitchell limited to 13 points on Thursday
Donovan Mitchell shot 6-of-16 from the field and 0-of-1 from the foul line in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Magic, accounting for 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.

Advice: Dominant in the first two games of the series, Mitchell was held in check in Game 3. While he did lead the Cavaliers in assists, only Caris LeVert (15/2/3/0/1 with one 3-pointer) had a worse plus/minus than Spida, who finished at a minus-25. Mitchell largely carried Cleveland’s backcourt in the first two games, but his off night was problematic, with Darius Garland continuing to struggle. Garland shot 2-of-9 from the field in Game 3, finishing with five points, three rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer. Game 4 is on Saturday, with Cleveland holding a 2-1 lead. • Stephen Curry wins Clutch Player of the Year award
Stephen Curry won the Kia NBA Clutch Player of the Year award on Thursday.

Advice: Curry beat out DeMar DeRozan and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, receiving 45 first-place votes to DeRozan’s 34. Those two were separated by 26 total points, with SGA coming in third with 160 points (11 first-place votes). Curry led the NBA in crunch time points (189), made field goals (59), and made 3-pointers (32). “Crunch time” is defined as the final five minutes of a game within five points. Rounding out the top five were Nikola Jokic and Jalen Brunson. Rotoworld Today, 4:19 pm
    • Kawhi Leonard (knee) questionable Friday
Kawhi Leonard (right knee inflammation) is listed as questionable for the Clippers’ Friday matchup against the Mavericks.

Advice: Leonard was underwhelming in his return to the hardwood in Game 2 with 15 points on 17 shots in a loss. Now he’s back on the injury report. Amir Coffey could return to the starting lineup if Leonard isn’t ready ahead of the weekend. Rotoworld Today, 3:44 pm
    • Questionable to play Friday
Leonard is questionable for Game 3 against the Mavericks on Friday due to right knee inflammation, Mike Curtis of The Detroit News reports.

Advice: Leonard posted 15 points and seven rebounds in his return to action in Game 2, and while he's included in the injury report ahead of Friday's decisive contest, he did log 35 minutes in Game 2, so he should be in line to handle his regular workload in a pivotal matchup at home. • Efficient despite loss in Game 2
Jones chipped in 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 124-92 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference first round.

Advice: Jones posted his best performance of the current postseason run, but his efforts were not enough as the Pelicans suffered a 32-point loss and now face an 0-2 deficit in the first-round series. Jones has scored in double digits in just four of his 12 appearances this month, and this 18-point output tied his best scoring mark since posting a 19-point effort against Miami on Feb. 23, so he's not expected to carry the Pelicans on offense in Game 3 on Saturday. • Strong from deep in 21-point outing
Martin ended with 21 points (7-12 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one steal over 36 minutes in Wednesday's 111-101 win over Boston in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round.

Advice: Martin had a breakout performance in Wednesday's bounce-back victory, earning his second straight start to begin the series against the Celtics. Martin connected on a handful of threes while ending as one of three Heat players with 20 or more points, a mark he surpassed on four occasions during the regular season. Martin responded well after scoring four points in Game 1, and Miami will look for him to continue to help boost the offense in Game 3 and beyond. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:44 pm
    • Records double-double in loss
Portis supplied 14 points (6-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 125-108 loss to Indiana in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Although Portis didn't come anywhere near Giannis Antetokounmpo's (calf) usual production, the former is doing enough to keep the interior afloat. Portis is expected to play at least one more game as Antetokounmpo's fill-in, but he'll need to keep the double-doubles coming. The Bucks' playoff fortunes will fade rapidly without a stronger response to Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner in the paint. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:15 am
    • Strong two-way effort in return
Leonard totaled 15 points (7-17 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and four steals in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 96-93 loss to Dallas in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Leonard returned to action Tuesday after missing nine straight games due to a knee injury. Although he was somewhat tentative to begin the game, he led the team in shot attempts and added five defensive stats. Barring any setbacks, Leonard should be good to go for Game 3 in Dallas on Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:17 am
    • Kawhi Leonard scores 15 points in return Tuesday
Kawhi Leonard shot 7-of-17 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 96-93 loss to the Mavericks, amassing 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists, four steals, and one blocked shot in 35 minutes.

Advice: To no one’s surprise, Leonard looked rusty offensively in his first game since March 31. While he did everything he needed to go during his recovery process, Kawhi did not take any contact during those individual sessions. Maybe that had something to do with his shaky performance in Game 2, but give Leonard credit for impacting the rebound and steals categories. Game 3 is on Friday in Dallas, with the teams tied at one win apiece. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:27 pm
