    • CJ McCollum struggles, scores nine points vs. LAL
CJ McCollum finished Tuesday’s 110-106 loss to the Lakers with nine points (4-of-15 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.

Advice: With Brandon Ingram (11/4/4 with one 3-pointer in 25 minutes) still under a minutes restriction, the Pelicans could not afford a bad shooting night from McCollum. Unfortunately, that’s precisely what happened on Tuesday, putting them in a “winner-take-all” game against the Warriors or Kings on Friday. And McCollum entered the postseason on a high, scoring 25 points or more in seven straight games. With Zion Williamson’s status for Friday unknown due to left leg soreness, McCollum will need to come up big for a team that has lost its last six home games. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:08 pm
    • Expected to play in Summer League
The Jazz plan to have Kessler (nose) participate in the 2024 NBA Summer League, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.

Advice: After a nice rookie season in 2022-23 in which Kessler started his final 34 appearances, he was selected in the early-to-mid rounds of most fantasy leagues this season. Managers who did so were disappointed. The center's points (8.1) and rebounds (7.5) per game decreased, as did his field-goal percentage (65.4). He also started just 22 games and crossed the 30-minute threshold only eight times. While the Jazz also had interest in developing other bigs like John Collins and Taylor Hendricks, plus giving minutes to Kelly Olynyk before trading him to Toronto, Kessler's role gave the impression that he wasn't impressing coach Will Hardy. The organization seems to believe it would be best for Kessler to get more development minutes this summer. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:30 am
    • Flirts with double-double in finale
Holmgren closed with 13 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and one block in 12 minutes during Sunday's 135-86 victory over the Mavericks.

Advice: Holmgren's result was astounding considering his 12 minutes of usage in the blowout win. The Thunder's standout center sat early with the rest of the starters, but he had one of the best stat lines on the roster while logging the second-lowest minute total. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:57 am
    • Leader off bench in balanced outing
Anthony amassed 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals over 17 minutes during Sunday's 113-88 victory over the Bucks.

Advice: Anthony led all bench players in Sunday's regular-season finale in scoring while hauling in a handful of rebounds and handing out a quartet of assists in a balanced outing on the second unit. Anthony, who also swiped a pair of steals, recorded at least 10 points, four rebounds and four assists in two of his final three games of the regular season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:40 pm
    • Balanced showcase in 25-point game
Wagner notched 25 points (10-21 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals across 33 minutes during Sunday's 113-88 win over the Bucks.

Advice: Wagner helped Orlando to a win in the regular-season finale Sunday by ending as one of two Magic players with 25 or more points to go along with a team-leading trio of threes and a handful of rebounds in a balanced outing. Wagner surpassed the 25-point mark in 16 games this season, rounding out the regular season by scoring 20 or more points in five of his final six outings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:39 pm
    • Jalen Green scores 13 in season finale Sunday
Jalen Green shot 5-of-14 from the field in Sunday’s win over the Clippers, scoring 13 points with six rebounds, three assists, and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes.

Advice: After scoring 26 points on 50% shooting in Friday’s win over Portland, Green was limited to 23 minutes on Sunday. The priority was to get less experienced players more run in the second half, and the third-year guard was excellent after the All-Star break. In 28 post-break games, he averaged 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.4 blocks, and 3.3 3-pointers, shooting 44.1% from the field and 80.9% from the foul line. Green was more productive and more efficient, with his offensive rating (117.1) being nearly six points higher than his pre-break number (111.9). Green benefitted from the changes made by the Rockets, most notably the hiring of Ime Udoka as head coach and the addition of point guard Fred VanVleet. That makes him an intriguing fantasy option for 2024-25. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:05 pm
    • Scores 25 points in loss to Lakers
McCollum recorded 25 points (9-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and seven assists across 34 minutes during Sunday's 124-108 loss to the Lakers.

Advice: McCollum's touches on offense might decrease once Brandon Ingram is back at full speed, but that wasn't the case Sunday, and the veteran guard responded by extending his streak of games with 25 or more points to seven appearances. Plus, McCollum has scored at least 20 points in all but one of his outings dating back to March 22, so there's no question he figures to have a prominent role when the Pelicans take on the Lakers in the Play-In Tournament on Tuesday. • CJ McCollum scores 25, but Pels drop to 7 seed
CJ McCollum provided 25 points, seven assists, four rebounds and four three-pointers across 34 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Lakers.

Advice: McCollum led New Orleans in scoring and added some useful peripherals, though his team lost in blowout fashion and fell back to the No. 7 seed. The Pels will be forced to play through the Play-In Tournament, which tips off Tuesday with a rematch against the Lakers. McCollum finished his second full season in New Orleans with averages of 20.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.6 blocks and 3.6 triples while shooting 45.9% from the floor and 82.7% from the charity stripe. He did a little bit of everything in the box score and didn’t hurt managers significantly in any category. As a result of his stellar, well-rounded play, he provided third-round value to fantasy managers and ended the campaign as a steal based on his seventh-round Yahoo ADP in 2023-24 fantasy drafts. • Chet Holmgren offers 13 points, nine boards Sunday
Chet Holmgren shot 6-of-8 from the field and 1-of-1 from the foul line in Sunday’s beating of the Mavericks, scoring 13 points with nine rebounds and one blocked shot in 12 minutes.

Advice: Dallas did not play any of its starters, and predictably, the game got out of hand by halftime. That’s a difficult pill for Holmgren managers in active leagues to swallow, but there was no need for him or the other Thunder starters to play in the second half. Due to its win and Minnesota’s loss to Phoenix, Oklahoma City will be the 1-seed in the Western Conference playoffs. Holmgren has been an excellent fantasy asset in his rookie campaign, providing top-20 per-game value in 9-cat formats. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:40 pm
