  • Nikola Pekovic (ankle) out for the season
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not play again in the 2014-15 season.

Advice: Earlier today we asked why the Wolves haven't ruled him out for the season, so at least there is some certainty in this situation. Pekovic can be dropped in all re-draft leagues. Justin Hamilton will get the start at center tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • Ricky Rubio (ankle) out for Monday
Ricky Rubio (ankle) will not play against the Jazz on Monday.

Advice: He was listed as doubtful, but the Minnesota Injury Decoder Ring™ indicated he had no chance to play tonight. Zach LaVine should be owned in all leagues while Lorenzo Brown should get big minutes. We're just kidding on the trademark, of course. Rotoworld.com

  • Luc Mbah a Moute out for Monday vs. Lakers
Luc Mbah a Moute will not play against the Lakers on Monday.

Advice: There's no word as to why just yet, but he missed Wednesday's game due to a shoulder issue. The 76ers will give most of their forward minutes to Nerlens Noel, Robert Covington, JaKarr Sampson, Thomas Robinson and Hollis Thompson. Rotoworld.com
    Today, 3:34 pm
  • Jerami Grant (illness) out for Monday night
Jerami Grant (illness) will not play against the Lakers on Monday.

Advice: So that's at least three players in the Lakers at Sixers game who are out with an upper respiratory illness. With Grant out, JaKarr Sampson is going to get the start, but he's not a fantasy option. No Grant should help Robert Covington and Hollis Thompson. Fantasy owners in almost any league can't start Grant this week. Rotoworld.com

  • Kyle Lowry (back spasms) is still hurting
Kyle Lowry (back spasms) is still hurt and it's "not just something where he's sore," according to coach Dwane Casey.

Advice: It doesn't sound like he's going to be back at any point this week and he can probably be dropped in most fantasy leagues. Greivis Vasquez will get at least one more start tonight and probably has a few more headed his way, too. However, he hasn't played well, so he's not a must-own player. Vasquez is still worth a look if you need some treys and dimes. Rotoworld.com

  • Al Jefferson (knee) will play on Monday
Al Jefferson (knee) will play against the Celtics on Monday.

Advice: He had his knee drained on Sunday due to some noticeable discomfort. Jefferson lasted just 17 minutes on Saturday, so he might be limited this evening. With four games this week, it's going to be hard to bench him in weekly leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Today, 2:25 pm
  • Michael Beasley (elbow) is questionable Tues
Michael Beasley (elbow) is questionable to play against the Spurs on Tuesday night.

Advice: He suffered a stinger on Sunday and could only play seven minutes. If he's out, there should be more minutes going to Bill Walker and Udonis Haslem. Beasley doesn't have a high enough upside to keep on most fantasy rosters right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Pekovic (ankle) out for Monday
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not play against the Jazz on Monday.

Advice: Why can't the Wolves just rule him out indefinitely? Anyway, he has no target date to return and he's probably not going to play this season. Even if he does, he'll have a minutes cap. Leave him on the wire. Justin Hamilton benefits most and is worth a look in all leagues if you're feeling saucy. Rotoworld.com
    Today, 11:12 am
  • Ricky Rubio (ankle) doubtful to play Monday
Ricky Rubio (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Jazz on Monday.

Advice: There was some optimism on Rubio on Sunday, but the Wolves have changed their tune today. With Rubio likely out, Zach LaVine will start at point guard with Lorenzo Brown likely joining him in the backcourt. LaVine is worth owning in all leagues, Brown is worth a flier in deep leagues and Rubio can be cut in most formats. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (wrist) questionable Tuesday
Rodney Stuckey (wrist) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nets.

Advice: Stuckey logged 30 minutes in Sunday's win over the Mavs while coming off a calf injury, but apparently he managed to add another injury in the process. If he's forced to sit out, C.J. Miles and C.J. Watson would both be the most direct beneficiaries. Rotoworld.com

  • Nick Johnson expected to get more minutes
Nick Johnson is expected to get an increase in minutes with Patrick Beverley (wrist) out for the season.

Advice: "Nick’s a guy we’re going to play some," Rockets coach Kevin McHale said. "We’re going to have to. We’re down on bodies. I’m comfortable with Nick." Johnson played 16.5 minutes on Sunday, his most since mid-December, but he's not an option in any fantasy format. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose takes full contact in practice
Derrick Rose (knee surgery) took full contact in practice on Monday.

Advice: It's a great sign for Rose and his eventual return this season. He took part in a full contact 4-on-4 scrimmage, and Tom Thibodeau said Rose looked winded afterward, but otherwise reported no ill effects. Rose previously said it would take him a week or two to get back into game action after being cleared for contact, so owners looking to stash him will want to think long and hard about all the DNPs he still has left to rack up. The Bulls play just three times in each of the next two weeks. Aaron Brooks owners: Take notice. Rotoworld.com

  • Ryan Anderson expected to return on road trip
Ryan Anderson (knee) is expected to return on the Pelicans upcoming road trip.

Advice: The Pelicans play in three straight road games on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, but it's not clear which game the big man is tentatively targeting to make his return. Regardless, his return will only help the Pelicans in their playoff push, but he's not a must-add player at this point. His return should mean less small ball for New Orleans as well as a role reduction for Dante Cunningham. Rotoworld.com

  • Kyle Lowry (back) out again on Monday night
Kyle Lowry (back) will not play on Monday against the Rockets.

Advice: Lowry has already said that he won't rush his return, but it's not clear when he will be back on the floor. Greivis Vasquez is averaging 11.1 points, 4.3 assists and 1.7 triples on 44.6 percent shooting over 23 games as the starting point guard, and both Lou Williams and DeMar DeRozan will have more responsibilities while Lowry is sidelined, as well. • Thad Young questionable vs. IND on Tuesday
Thad Young (knee) shot around on Monday, and he's being listed as questionable to face the Pacers on Tuesday.

Advice: He's iffy at best for Tuesday and Wednesday's back-to-back set, and he's been out since March 25 with the knee injury. Young's owners can't afford to rely on his return right now given he doesn't appear anywhere close to full strength, and if Young continues to sit, Miles Plumlee is likely to to start at power forward with Earl Clark and Alan Anderson getting a little more time off the bench. • Al Jefferson had fluid drained from left knee
For the second time in a week, Al Jefferson had fluid drained from his left knee.

Advice: And now we know why Jefferson hasn't looked right recently. His knee, in addition to his groin, is obviously a major concern, and the fact that he's had to have it drained twice in a week is not a good sign as the Hornets head down the stretch of the regular season. If he is forced to miss any time or have his minutes limited in any way, Bismack Biyombo would see an increased role with guys like Cody Zeller and Marvin Williams also playing more as Charlotte goes small. • Nick Young still hopeful to return this year
Nick Young (knee) remains hopeful to return this season.

Advice: Young's knee remains unchanged, so it's hard to see how that's going to happen. The Lakers are considering shutting down Young, but the team isn't at that point yet. "We’re not in a big hurry," Scott said. "As long as he has some problems going on in there, we’re going to take our time." We wouldn't expect Swaggy P back this season. Rotoworld.com

  • Rubio, Dieng, Martin all questionable Monday
Ricky Rubio (ankle), Gorgui Dieng (facial contusion) and Kevin Martin (hamstring) are all questionable to play on Monday.

Advice: The Timberwolves are notoriously terrible with their injury updates, and this doesn't really help owners at all. All three players could very well be facing game-time decisions. If Rubio sits, Zach LaVine will start at point guard, if Dieng doesn't play, Justin Hamilton will likely start at center and if Martin is out, expect Lorenzo Brown to draw another start at shooting guard. As a starter, LaVine is averaging 11.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists, a steal and 0.9 triples on 41 percent shooting. Rotoworld.com

  • Scott thinks Jordan Hill can be even better
Byron Scott said he thinks Jordan Hill can "play harder."

Advice: After praising Hill for his 22 points and 16 rebounds as one of the only players who competed in Sunday's loss, Scott then took another dig at him. "That's one thing I'm a little disappointed in. I thought he was a real energy guy." Hill's fallen in love with his jumper, and he's no longer doing the dirty work around the rim as often. Hill should be back in the rotation for now, but it's not clear how long it may last. Despite career-high marks in points (12.3) and rebounds (eight), Despite a desire to return, Hill is not a lock to return to the Lakers next season. The team holds a $9 million option. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Dudley wants to re-sign with Bucks
Jared Dudley would like to re-sign with the Bucks after the season.

Advice: Excited by the youth infusion in Milwaukee and the leadership of Jason Kidd, Dudley is in a good place as a veteran leader on an up-and-coming team. Dudley did say he'd be willing to take less money on a multi-year deal, but it's too early to say whether or not the two sides will work something out. Rotoworld.com

  • Al Jefferson won't be 100 percent this season
Hornets coach Steve Clifford said Al Jefferson will not be 100 percent again this season.

Advice: While nobody in the NBA is playing at 100 percent health at this point, Jefferson looked noticeably slow in his last game and may be in danger of wearing down. "The other night he was limping. He feels better today but it is going to be game-to-game with him," Clifford said. Jefferson's owners will have to check his status regularly for the remainder of the regular season. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Dudley (back) confirms he'll play Wed
Jared Dudley (back) confirmed that he'll be ready to play vs. the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: "I'm 100% fine," he wrote on Twitter. "Just being pre cautious, I'll be ready [Wednesday]." This is excellent news for Bucks fans and any deep-league owners who have Dudley on their bench. He has had spurts of sustained value this year but is too risky for use in most leagues given the recurring nature of his back injury. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) plays 30 minutes Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) logged 30 minutes during Sunday's much-needed win vs. Dallas, scoring 10 points with one 3-pointer, five rebounds and two assists.

Advice: He wasn't on a minute-limit and is safe to deploy whenever he's healthy, as the Pacers have given him a green-light to shoot with their second unit (he finished 4-of-14 from the field tonight). The second unit has proven to be a strength for Indiana this season -- their bench is averaging 41.0 points per game, second in the NBA behind only the Lakers. Stuckey's return stole some playing time from C.J. Miles (28 minutes), C.J. Watson (24 minutes) and especially Solomon Hill (14 minutes). Rotoworld.com

  • Michael Beasley has a stinger in his elbow
Michael Beasley suffered a stinger in his elbow during Sunday's game vs. the Pistons, and he was unable to return after just seven minutes of action.

Advice: Beasley's elbow flared up and he didn't have any mobility in his arm after the game, but the Heat didn't seem to be overly concerned and head coach Erik Spoelstra is hopeful that he will play vs. the Spurs on Tuesday. Beasley isn't a great option in fantasy leagues and hasn't been getting a lot of minutes even with the Heat dealing with a lot of injuries, so owners in most leagues should probably leave him on the wire. • Jared Dudley (back) will not play on Monday
Jared Dudley will not play vs. the Hawks on Monday in order to give his ailing back some extra rest.

Advice: Dudley has been able to play in the past two games for the Bucks, but they are wanting to be cautious with him since he had missed six consecutive games earlier in March. Dudley should be fine for Wednesday's game vs. the Bulls, but he is still not a fantasy option outside of deeper leagues. Expect O.J. Mayo and Jerryd Bayless to see a few extra minutes off the bench Monday. Rotoworld.com

  • Michael Beasley bruises elbow Sunday vs. DET
Michael Beasley is questionable to return on Sunday due to a bruised elbow.

Advice: The Heat are coming apart at the seams, beginning the night extremely short-handed before losing both Beasley and Luol Deng (knee) on Sunday. If Beasley misses any time, James Ennis and Henry Walker will be thrust into bigger roles out of necessity. Rotoworld.com

  • Jerami Grant lousy in start for Philly Sunday
Jerami Grant struggled on Sunday with two points and two boards in a road loss at Cleveland, missing all four of his field goal attempts while going 2-of-4 at the free throw line.

Advice: Grant's starting job is nearly irrelevant for fantasy purposes -- in three previous starts he averaged 6.7 points on 30.4 percent shooting, and was only worth owning for blocks (2.7). His defensive upside and 3-point range may be enough for ownership in deep leagues, but everyone else should steer clear of his FG percentage (37.8 percent) and FT percentage (59.7 percent). • Ricky Rubio (ankle) could return on Monday?
Head coach Flip Saunders is hopeful that Ricky Rubio (ankle) will be able to return on Monday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Rubio has missed eight of the last nine games for the Wolves, so there are certainly no guarantees here. The Wolves are playing for ping pong balls and have no incentive to play Rubio at less than 100 percent, so there is no need for owners to overreact. If Rubio does return he will likely have a minutes limit, so his upside will be capped. Zach LaVine's value would take a hit if Rubio returns, but his owners should stand pat for now. Rotoworld.com

  • Nick Young (knee) to be reevaluated in a week
Nick Young (knee) will be reevaluated in one week, but he remains without a timetable to return.

Advice: This practically rules him out for the rest of the week, and head coach Byron Scott also said that Young would need at least another week of conditioning after that. There is a good chance that Young doesn't play again this season, but Scott refuses to shut him down. At this point in the season, it's safe to leave Young on the wire in just about all leagues. • Jordan Hill drops 22 & 16 in return to action
Jordan Hill thrived in his return to the Lakers' rotation on Sunday, coming off the bench for 22 points on 10-of-17 shooting, 16 rebounds and one block in just 27 minutes.

Advice: Hill was a healthy DNP-CD in his past three games, as coach Byron Scott opted to give more playing time to younger players down the stretch. He benefited from Ed Davis' precautionary rest day today, so unfortunately it may be hard for Hill to maintain a fantasy-relevant role going forward. Congratulations to anyone who gambled on Hill vs. the Nets, but it's impossible to recommend him given the ongoing risk of a DNP-CD. Rotoworld.com

  • Ricky Rubio (ankle) out Sunday vs. Pelicans
Ricky Rubio (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: He was doubtful heading into this one so there shouldn't be any surprises here, though Flip Saunders said Rubio could return vs. Utah on Monday. Zach LaVine and Lorenzo Brown will get all the run they can handle, with LaVine offering the most upside. Rotoworld.com

  • Jordan Hill will be available to play Sunday
Jordan Hill will be available to play for Sunday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: Hill will likely come off the bench today, but with season averages of 12.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game as a reserve, he should be able to put up some low-end stats for owners in deep leagues. He'll likely take away some minutes from Tarik Black and Robert Sacre. Rotoworld.com
    Yesterday, 11:11 am
  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) will play on Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) will play on Sunday vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: Stuckey is returning from a three-game absence due to a calf strain, so it will be interesting to see how he holds up during the game. He isn't a must-own player by any means, but he is worth a look if you need help in scoring. C.J. Watson and C.J. Miles will lose some touches on offense Sunday, and their owners should expect their value to take a hit. Rotoworld.com

  • Al Jefferson doesn't look healthy vs. Hawks
Al Jefferson didn't look like himself against the Hawks on Saturday with two points, six boards, two assists and two blocks in just 17 minutes.

Advice: He looked gassed and he may not be over his knee soreness. Jefferson was in some visible pain on Friday and he was pretty much useless out there beyond the first quarter tonight. The Hornets will kick off a four-game week on Monday against the Celtics and hopefully Al will feel better after the off day on Sunday. Rotoworld.com
    Saturday, 6:28 pm
  • Al Jefferson, Mo Williams are good to go
Al Jefferson (knee) and Mo Williams (knee) are good to go against the Hawks on Saturday.

Advice: We have no idea why the Hornets listed Al Jefferson as questionable, but he was grimacing a little bit last night due to his ailing knee. He'll likely have success against the ATL backups tonight. Rotoworld.com
    Saturday, 4:11 pm
  • Al Jefferson, Mo Williams are questionable?
Al Jefferson (knee) and Mo Williams (knee) are listed as questionable on the lineup sheet for Saturday.

Advice: Interesting. There were no indications of either guy missing this game, so we're still expecting them to play. Jefferson is still listed as the probable starter and should be fine. We'll provide another update to confirm Big Al is good to go. Rotoworld.com
    Saturday, 3:25 pm
  • Ricky Rubio, Kevin Garnett are doubtful
Ricky Rubio (ankle) and Kevin Garnett (knee) are doubtful to play against the Pelicans on Sunday.

Advice: This is pretty much status quo for Rubio, who hasn't played in any of the previous five games and seven of the last eight. He is basically a shut down candidate and is not worth owning in standard leagues. Zach LaVine is a nice player to own if you're fine with sub-par shooting while Lorenzo Brown is also a low-end add for dimes and steals. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Pekovic, Gary Neal out for Sunday
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and Gary Neal (ankle) will not play against the Pelicans on Sunday.

Advice: They Wolves continue to rule out Pek the day before games, so it's hard to like his chances of playing in the next week or even this season. Gorgui Dieng is going to continue his run as a must-start player while Justin Hamilton backs him up. Hopefully Hamilton can get more minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) questionable Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: Stuckey has been in street clothes for the past three games, and the Pacers may continue to err on the side of caution on Sunday. If Stuckey is unable to play, C.J. Watson and C.J. Miles will be the primary beneficiaries and would be worth a look in daily leagues. We should have another update after shootaround Sunday. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young (knee) officially out Sunday
Thaddeus Young (knee) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: This will be his second straight game out of the lineup, and there is still no indication on when he will return. The Nets are still in the playoff hunt, so hopefully we will see Young back out on the floor soon. Mason Plumlee started at power forward on Friday vs. the Cavaliers, but he was largely ineffective and is only worth a look in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Al Jefferson dbuble-doubles with 31 & 10
Al Jefferson (knee) double-doubled in Friday's double-overtime loss to the Wizards, scoring 31 points on 14-of-24 shooting with 10 rebounds and no steals or blocks in 40 minutes.

Advice: Jefferson is going to grind to the painful end and so far he's not losing his touch on the offensive end or the glass. Defense is another story but with the Hornets fighting for their playoff lives owners have to nervously like what they see. Rotoworld.com

  • Luc Mbah a Moute coming off the bench
Luc Mbah a Moute played 22 minutes off the bench against the Clippers on Friday with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: There were no clear reports of him playing tonight and L-MAM coming off the bench is unusual these days. He will likely get the Jason Richardson treatment and rest in some games to allow the younger guys to play more. When he's active, he's worth starting in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Ricky Rubio (ankle) out for Friday night
Ricky Rubio (ankle) will not play against the Rockets on Friday.

  • Rose to be cleared for contact next week?
Bulls' head coach Tom Thibodeau said that Derrick Rose (knee) will likely be cleared for contact by next week.

Advice: Rose has been doing some non-contact work for a little over a week now, and he's been making steady progress without experiencing any setbacks, which is welcome news for a guy who has spent much of the past three years on the sidelines. It appears he's going to make it back in time for the playoffs, but his fantasy season is essentially kaput, and he belongs on the waiver wire in nearly all re-draft leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kyle Lowry (back) out Friday vs. the Lakers
Kyle Lowry (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Lowry has said that he won't rush a return, but the Raptors have not given any clear timeline on when he might be able to return to action. While he's out, Greivis Vasquez will continue to start at point guard, with Lou Williams and DeMar DeRozan being tasked with some more responsibilities on offense. We'll be considering him questionable for Monday's game vs. the Rockets, stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Jordan Hill (tanking) ruled out for Friday
Jordan Hill will be a healthy scratch for Friday's game vs. the Raptors.

Advice: Hill has spent the past two games on the sidelines despite being perfectly healthy, so it appears head coach Byron Scott has fully embraced the tanking concept. Look for Ryan Kelly to start with Ed Davis seeing some extended minutes off the bench. Both Kelly and Davis have been playing well lately, so they're worth a look in deep leagues. Byron Scott said he may insert Hill back into the lineup for either Sunday's game vs. Brooklyn or Monday's game vs. Philadelphia, so we'll be watching for that. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Dudley has awful shot in win
Jared Dudley returned from his kneecap injury on Thursday, scoring two points with one rebound, one assist and one turnover.

Advice: He had the worst shot you'll see all season with a backwards shot in the corner. We know that doesn't make sense, so click the link below to check it out. Dudley can be left on the wire in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Dudley (knee) will play Thursday
Jared Dudley (knee) will play Thursday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Dudley had some good stretches during the season, but his play has really fallen off during the month of March with averages of just 2.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game on 22.2 percent shooting from the field. He'll likely be eased back into the rotation, so it's safe to leave Dudley on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Pekovic (ankle) out Friday vs. HOU
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Rockets.

Advice: It would be easier if the Timberwolves would just go ahead and announce that Pek will be shutdown for the season, but until that happens, we'll continue to post updates stating that he's out and belongs on the waiver wire. Justin Hamilton (migraines) returned to action on Wednesday, but only managed to log nine minutes off the bench. However, he was playing very well for Minnesota before going down, so if you have some dead weight on your roster, it makes sense to take a flier on Hamilton with the hopes he'll soon get a decent amount of minutes playing for a Minnesota team that has been devastated by injuries. Rotoworld.com

  • Ricky Rubio (ankle) doubtful Friday vs. HOU
Ricky Rubio (ankle) is doubtful to play Friday vs. the Rockets.

Advice: If Rubio is again unavailable, it would be his fifth consecutive game on the sidelines, and Zach LaVine would draw yet another start. LaVine has been excellent over the past four games, averaging 19.0 points, 4.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 three-pointers and 4.8 turnovers per game, so he's worth a look in all standard leagues if you can live with the turnovers. • Rodney Stuckey (calf) out Thursday vs. MIL
Rodney Stuckey (calf) has been ruled out for Thursday's game vs. the Bucks.

Advice: This will be Stuckey's second consecutive game on the sidelines (and he missed most of a third), and we'll be considering him questionable for Sunday's game vs. Dallas. C.J. Watson has stepped up in Stuckey's absence, and he's worth a look as a streamer option for owners seeking some 3-point shooting, steals, and assists. Rotoworld.com

  • Al Jefferson probable for Friday vs Wizards
Al Jefferson (knee) is probable for Friday's game against the Wizards.

Advice: Jefferson had some fluid removed from his balky knee earlier in the week, but was still able to post a double-double in Wednesday's loss to the Nets. He missed practice on Thursday, but fantasy owners should make sure Big Al is in their lineups as it sounds like he'll be ready to play on Friday. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young out Friday, doubtful Sunday
Thaddeus Young (knee) has been listed as out for Friday's game against the Cavaliers and doubtful for Sunday's game against the Lakers.

Advice: An MRI on Young's left knee revealed a strain, so the Nets can breathe a sigh of relief as this one looked worse. Bojan Bogdanovic, Joe Johnson, Mason Plumlee, and Cory Jefferson will get the biggest fantasy boost while Young is out for Friday and likely Sunday. Rotoworld.com

Rodney Stuckey (sore left calf) listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bucks.

Advice: While the questionable tag leaves the possibility open for Stuckey to suit up, it would be a surprise to see him play after an MRI revealed a calf strain on Wednesday. If Stuckey can't play, look for C.J. Watson to be the primary fantasy beneficiary against the Bucks on Thursday. Rotoworld.com

  • Jordan Hill not sweating minutes decrease
Jordan Hill said he has no issues with the Lakers decision to sit him for the next four or five upcoming games.

Advice: While the Lakers openly tank, Hill is toeing the company line when it comes to his benching. "I’m not playing for nothing," Hill said. "It’s a good time to get other guys a lot more minutes and get a feel of the game." Hill can be dropped while the Lakers experiment with younger players and Ryan Kelly, Ed Davis, and Tarik Black are all worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Pain-free Derrick Rose hopes to return soon
Derrick Rose (knee) said he's pain free and hopes to start taking contact in practice either this week or next week.

Advice: Rose wouldn't commit on a return date, but said that the process has been smooth and added that he hasn't experience any swelling. "I don't have it," Rose said. "I don't have any. So that's a good sign. The swelling is gone. So it's all about just getting on the court." While Rose may get himself back for the Bulls' last three or four regular season games, owners in standard fantasy leagues will want to avoid the uncertainty here. Rotoworld.com

  • Jerami Grant blocks five shots in start at PF
Jerami Grant started at power forward against the Nuggets on Wednesday with six points, four rebounds, three assists, one 3-pointer and five blocks in 32 minutes.

Advice: Can we please keep him in the starting lineup, Brett Brown? Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) missed tonight and perhaps he misses more time. Grant has 4.0 blocks per game in his two starts and he continues to post highlight-reel plays. He's still below 40 percent from the field and 60 percent from the line, so his ceiling is going to be capped for standard leagues. Give Grant a look if you're looking for some steals, blocks and treys. Rotoworld.com

  • Michael Beasley plays 14 minutes in win
Michael Beasley came off the bench and played just 14 minutes on Wednesday, finishing with six points, two steals and a block.

Advice: Yuck. Henry Walker, James Ennis and Tyler Johnson got the minutes tonight, so it looks like the bright light that was shining on Beasley earlier in the day is officially burnt out. Rotoworld.com

  • Al Jefferson goes for 23 & 10 in loss
Al Jefferson hit 11-of-19 shots for 23 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in Wednesday's loss to the Nets.

Advice: The Hornets needed this game to stay in the playoffs and are now a 1/2 game out, in a four-way battle with Boston, Indy and Brooklyn for the No. 8 seed in the East. Props to Big Al for getting his knee drained and playing through the injury, and here's to hoping he can keep it going for another couple weeks. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young (left knee) out for game
Thaddeus Young suffered a hyperextended left knee on Wednesday and will not return.

Advice: X-rays were negative and he will likely have an MRI on Thursday. To clarify, a hyperextended knee means his joint just went past where it's normally supposed to go, so this isn't a specific diagnosis. We should know more on Thursday, but Young could miss time. It'll be Bojan Bogdanovic, Joe Johnson and Cory Jefferson stepping up. Young finished with 11 points and four boards in 23 minutes, and could miss time with this injury. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young hurts left leg on Wednesday
Thaddeus Young suffered an apparent left leg injury on Wednesday and went to the locker room.

Advice: He laid on the court for 10 seconds or so before the Nets had to commit a foul. Young could have suffered a number of injuries with most of his leg twisting. He was able to walk back to the locker room under his own power. Stay tuned for an update. Rotoworld.com

  • Jerami Grant will start for L MAM
Jerami Grant will start against the Nuggets on Wednesday night.

Advice: It'll be his second start of his career. In his first start, Grant played 30 minutes for eight points, four boards, one assist and three blocks. He's worth a look in deeper leagues and could climb into the standard league convo with his high upside. Rotoworld.com

    Injured
  • Luc Mbah a Moute out, Jerami Grant starting
Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will not play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Advice: It'll be Jerami Grant in the starting lineup in what should be an up-tempo game. There should also be more minutes available for Robert Covington and Thomas Robinson -- both looked very good on Tuesday. Mbah a Moute can be cut in most formats. Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 4:42 pm
  • Michael Beasley will start on Wednesday
Michael Beasley will enter the starting lineup on Wednesday vs. the Celtics in place of Hassan Whiteside (hand).

Advice: The Heat are also missing Dwyane Wade (knee) and Chris Andersen (calf) tonight, so Beasley should be very busy on the offensive end. He is averaging 9.0 points, 4.4 boards and 1.3 assists in 24.3 minutes through 12 games in March, but he should see a nice bump in production in a critical matchup with the Celtics. Owners in daily leagues should give him a look. Rotoworld.com

  • Ricky Rubio (ankle) will not play Wednesday
Ricky Rubio (ankle) will not play against the Lakers on Wednesday.

Advice: He is likely going to miss more time due to his ankle soreness. Zach LaVine should see a ton of playing tonight at the point while Lorenzo Brown will back him up and could get some minutes at shooting guard. Most owners should cut Rubio at this point. Rotoworld.com

    Injured
  • Jordan Hill, Carlos Boozer out Wednesday
Jordan Hill and Carlos Boozer are not expected to play against the Wolves on Wednesday night.

Advice: The pair is not expected to play for the next 4-5 games. Tarik Black and Ryan Kelly will get the start and are worth a look in deeper leagues. Hopefully, Ed Davis gets more run than 16 minutes like he did on Tuesday. Hill can be dropped in most leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 3:39 pm
  • Al Jefferson has knee drained, will play Wed
Al Jefferson recently had fluid drained from his sore knee which "offered some relief," and he's expected to play vs. the Nets on Wednesday.

Advice: Big Al won't have a minute-limit and he's doing what he can to help the Hornets claw their way into the playoffs, but his knee injury has taken a toll on his fantasy value. Over the past two weeks he's averaging only 13.0 points on 42.9 percent shooting with 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks. Most owners will have to ride him anyway, in the hopes that his recent knee draining will lead to offensive improvement. Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 2:20 pm
  • Jared Dudley is questionable for Thursday
Jared Dudley (knee) is questionable to play against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: He did go through practice, but that doesn't mean much because he went through practice on Monday and missed Tuesday's game. Dudley can remain on the wire in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    Injured
  • Michael Beasley likely to start on Wednesday
Michael Beasley will likely enter the starting lineup vs. the Celtics on Wednesday if Hassan Whiteside (hand) can't play.

Advice: Beasley has averages of 9.0 points, 4.4 boards and 1.3 assists in 24.3 minutes per game during the month of March, so he could see a nice bump in production if he is forced to play big minutes. Chris Andersen (calf) is also questionable which only improves Beasley's outlook, so owners in daily leagues looking for a cheap plug-and-play should give him a look. Rotoworld.com

  • Ryan Anderson hoping to return in one week
Ryan Anderson (knee) is hopeful that he will be able to return to action in a week, and he has continued to progress each day.

Advice: Anderson has been out for over a month, and even though it's fantastic to see him getting closer to a return, the Pelicans will likely ease him back into the rotation. We will continue to monitor his progress closely, but Anderson still belongs on the wire outside of deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kyle Lowry (back) will not play Wednesday
Kyle Lowry (back) will not play vs. the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: Lowry has already said that he won't be rushing back from injury this time, so he is probably looking at an extended stint on the sidelines. Greivis Vasquez will likely start on Wednesday and is worth picking up in most leagues, while Lou Williams should see an uptick in minutes off the bench and can be considered a must-start option in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    Injured
  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) will not play Wednesday
An MRI revealed that Rodney Stuckey has a calf strain, and he will not be able to play vs. the Wizards on Wednesday.

Advice: This is a tough blow for the Pacers, and it's starting to look unlikely that Stuckey will be able to play on Thursday vs. the Bucks as well. C.J. Watson dropped 23 points in Stuckey's absence on Monday, and he should be considered the primary beneficiary of this news and is worth a look in daily leagues. We will pass along any additional updates regarding Stuckey as soon as we know more. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose (knee) doesn't have any soreness
Derrick Rose (knee) said that he isn't experiencing any soreness, and he is still planning on returning before the regular season ends.

Advice: This is definitely exciting news for the Bulls, and Rose said his rehab is going smooth and he expects to be cleared for full contact sometime this week or the following. However, there is still no known timetable for his return, and fantasy owners outside of keeper leagues will want to avoid this situation because the Bulls will obviously proceed with caution. We will continue to track Rose's progress every step of the way. Rotoworld.com

  • Kyle Lowry (back) won't rush back this time
Kyle Lowry said that he won't rush back from injury this time after he was forced to leave Tuesday's game vs. the Pistons due to back spasms.

Advice: This doesn't sound very reassuring for his owners, and it looks like Lowry should be considered highly doubtful to play vs. the Bulls on Wednesday. We will pass along further updates once we know more, but his owners should have a backup plan ready. Greivis Vasquez will likely draw the start if Lowry can't give it a go and he is worth a look for anyone in need of 3-pointers and assists, while Lou Williams should see a nice uptick in minutes as well and would be a must-start option in all leagues. • Michael Beasley starts w/ Whiteside ailing
With Hassan Whiteside (hand) being stitched up by team trainers, Michael Beasley slid into Miami's starting lineup to begin the second half on Tuesday.

Advice: Beasley finished with four points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 27 minutes, but he also lost a critical jumpball which led to Milwaukee's game-winning 3-pointer. He's solidified himself as a reliable part of Miami's rotation but he's yet to cause a ripple in fantasy leagues. Whiteside's status for Wednesday's game is in real doubt, but Beasley is best suited to use in very deep leagues or daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jordan Hill likely to sit out next 4-5 games
Jordan Hill (tanking) will likely sit out for the next four to five games so that the Lakers can evaluate their younger players.

Advice: Unreal. The tanking saga continues around the NBA, and this move will certainly draw some harsh criticism from around the league. Hill has been one of the better plays for the Lakers this season with averages of 12.3 points and 8.0 boards per game, so it will be interesting to see how he reacts to this. For what it's worth, Carlos Boozer will also sit out with Hill, meaning Ryan Kelly, Tarik Black, Ed Davis and Robert Sacre will handle the frontcourt duties for the Lakers until further notice. With fantasy playoffs in progress, Hill's owners should cut bait. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 7:55 pm
  • Kyle Lowry (back) will not return on Tuesday
Kyle Lowry (back spasms) left Tuesday's game vs. the Pistons and will not be able to return.

Advice: Lowry had just returned from a two-game absence prior to tonight's game because of his back, so this is obviously a devastating blow for the Raptors and for his owners. We will go ahead and consider Lowry questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Bulls, but considering he was only able to play 11 minutes before his back tightened up on him, he is probably closer to doubtful. If Lowry can't give it a go, Greivis Vasquez and Lou Williams would both benefit. Expect another update following shootaround on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

  • Jordan Hill, Carlos Boozer may not play Tues
Jordan Hill (tanking) and Carlos Boozer (tanking) may not be in the rotation vs. the Thunder on Tuesday according to Lakers beat writer Mike Trudell.

Advice: Ryan Kelly and Tarik Black are starting in the frontcourt, so winning clearly isn't a priority tonight. The Lakers are going to get their younger guys some more playing time down the stretch, so Hill and Boozer's value will likely start to trend down. We will continue to monitor this story closely, but owners will want to see how things play out tonight before doing anything drastic. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 5:16 pm
  • Jordan Hill moves to the bench on Tuesday
Jordan Hill will shift to the bench for Tuesday's game vs. the Thunder, while Ryan Kelly will draw the start.

Advice: The Lakers are desperately trying to improve their chances in the draft lottery, so it's not surprising to see them give their younger players a longer look. Hill's owners should use a wait-and-see approach here, but it look his value could take a hit down the stretch. Ryan Kelly is only worth a look in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 4:57 pm
  • Ryan Anderson (knee) still without timetable
Ryan Anderson (knee) has begun working out at the Pelicans' practice facility, but he remains without an official timetable to return.

Advice: Head coach Monty Williams said that Anderson is "closer," but he's still not at a point where Williams can say he'll play next week or even the week after. Anderson is making steady progress, but he's still nowhere near being ready for any game-time action. At this point in the fantasy season, Anderson belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues. • Kyle Lowry (back) will start Tuesday vs. DET
Kyle Lowry (back) will start Tuesday vs. the Pistons.

Advice: Greivis Vasquez will likely head to the bench with this news, and his value will take a sizable hit with the demotion to the second unit. Lowry is obviously a must-start guy every time he's in uniform, so go ahead and get him active. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Dudley (knee) out Tuesday vs. Miami
Jared Dudley (knee) will not suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Heat.

Advice: Dudley is inching his way closer to making a return after going through a full practice on Monday, but today will not be the day. He wasn't playing well before going down, and he belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kyle Lowry (back) a true game-time call Tues.
Kyle Lowry (back) will again be a true game-time decision for Tuesday's game vs. the Pistons.

Advice: Lowry has spent the past two games on the sidelines, but he was able to go through a full practice on Monday, so there's that. The Raptors have waited until just before the tip before announcing Lowry's status over the past two games, and that's the situation we're headed for again today. If he sits, Greivis Vasquez will draw the start, with DeMar DeRozan doing the heavy lifting on offense. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Pekovic (ankle) out Wednesday vs. LAL
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not suit up for Wednesday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Gorgui Dieng has been logging heavy minutes lately with zero depth behind him. He'll likely again be asked to play as close to the entire game as possible on Wednesday with Kevin Garnett (knee) doubtful, and Justin Hamilton (migraines) questionable. Pekovic remains without a clear timetable to return, and with Minnesota playing for draft picks, it's unlikely we'll see Pek in uniform again this season. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 2:46 pm
  • Ricky Rubio (ankle) doubtful for Wednesday
Ricky Rubio (ankle) is doubtful to play Wednesday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Rubio has spent the past three games on the sidelines, and Zach LaVine has played quite well in his absence, averaging 19.3 points, 4.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 three-pointers and an unfortunate 5.0 turnovers per game during that span. If you're okay with the turnovers, LaVine is worth owning in standard leagues while Rubio is out. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) questionable Wednesday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) did not practice on Tuesday, and he is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Advice: If Stuckey is unable to go on Wednesday, expect C.J. Watson to pick up most of his minutes. Watson was able to put up 23 points with a full line on Monday with Stuckey out, so he'll be worth a look as a low-end, plug-and-play option in daily leagues if Stuckey is indeed unavailable Wednesday. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) will not play Monday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) will not play against the Rockets on Monday.

Advice: He suffered the injury on Saturday and did not return. With Stuckey out, C.J. Watson should be more of a sixth man as a combo guard while C.J. Miles should get close to 35 minutes. George Hill may also play a little more with Pat Beverley on him. Owners in weekly leagues shouldn't be playing Stuckey. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Dudley questionable for Tuesday
Jared Dudley (knee) is questionable to play against the Heat on Tuesday.

Advice: He went through practice on Monday and could return after missing most of the second half due to an issue with his kneecap. Dudley would take minutes away from Ersan Ilyasova, but Ghosface Ilya is still worth owning in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not play vs. Jazz
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not play against the Jazz on Monday night.

Advice: There was almost no chance Pekovic was going to play tonight and the Wolves finally decided to rule him out early. There's a very good chance we won't see Pek back on the court this season with the Wolves playing for lottery balls and being tied to his contract. Gorgui Dieng will continue to be one of the best big men to own in fantasy while Adreian Payne and Chase Budinger will get the rest of the big-man minutes. Dieng does get a bad matchup against Rudy Gobert tonight, though. Rotoworld.com
    Mar 23, 11:21 am
  • Kyle Lowry (back) goes through practice Mon.
Kyle Lowry (back) was able to go through practice on Monday, but he remains questionable to play against the Pistons on Tuesday.

Advice: Lowry has been out since March 18, and there is no clear timetable for his return. It leaves fantasy owners in a very tough spot at a critical juncture of the season, but the good news is Lowry was able to get through practice on Monday. Owners will have to check back for an update (or two) ahead of Tuesday's contest. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikoa Pekovic again questionable on Monday
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) is once again listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Jazz.

Advice: Despite the questionable tag, Pek has missed six straight and he's just not worth the constant headache. We don't expect him to play, and we should instead see Gorgui Dieng, who is a must-own, must-start player at this time. He's averaging 11.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2.0 blocks on 50.5 percent shooting as the starting center, and Justin Hamilton (migraines) has already been ruled out, as well. Rotoworld.com
    Mar 23, 9:17 am
  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) questionable on Monday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) is questionable to play on Monday against Houston.

Advice: Stuckey left Saturday's game vs. the Nets with a sore calf (which he originally injured almost two weeks ago) and didn't return after just 13 minutes, so the fact that he's still iffy two days later isn't a great sign. If he's unable to give it a go, C.J. Watson, C.J. Miles and Solmon Hill should all see increased burn. Rotoworld.com

  • Luc Mbah a Moute scores 13 points in defeat
Luc Mbah a Moute logged 29 minutes on Sunday, scoring 13 points with two 3-pointers, two boards, two assists and two steals.

Advice: He's had fantasy-worthy moments this season but March hasn't been kind to him, as he's limping along with averages of 10.6 points on 36.6 percent FGs and 52.0 percent FTs, 1.1 threes, 5.2 boards, 2.8 assists and 0.9 steals. The awful percentages eradicate his value in nearly all fantasy formats. Rotoworld.com
    Mar 22, 9:44 pm
  • Jordan Hill shoots 6-of-7 in just 20 minutes
Jordan Hill made 6-of-7 shots vs. the Sixers on Sunday, finishing L.A.'s home victory with 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists in only 20 minutes.

Advice: Hill was a combined 10-of-31 from the field in his three previous games, so it's nice to see him get going offensively vs. a Sixers defense which has been surprisingly stingy in recent weeks. Hill is a reliable late-round value but he lacks explosive upside while logging 25-28 minutes for coach Byron Scott. Owners should be on the lookout for potential lineup changes, too, as Scott has suggested that he'll tweak his rotations over L.A.'s final 10 games. Rotoworld.com
    Mar 22, 9:37 pm
  • Nikola Pekovic (ankle) ruled out for Sunday
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not play on Sunday vs. the Hornets.

Advice: This will be his sixth straight game on the sidelines and there is simply no telling if he will play again this season. Pekovic's owners should have already moved with fantasy playoffs in progress, while Gorgui Dieng will continue to be a must-start player in all formats. Justin Hamilton has also been playing well and is worth a look in deeper leagues if his migraines clear up. Rotoworld.com
    Mar 22, 2:58 pm
  • Jared Dudley (knee) and Mayo (hamstring) out
Jared Dudley (knee) and O.J. Mayo (hamstring) remain out indefinitely.

Advice: Neither guy will play on Sunday, of course, and their absence leaves extra playing time available for Tyler Ennis, Jerryd Bayless, Ersan Ilyasova and others. Ilyasova is the best bet for reliable value, though Bayless is also worth a glance for deep-league owners seeking guard help. Dudley and Mayo both belong on the waiver wire until a return date is announced. Rotoworld.com

  • Kyle Lowry (back) ruled out Sunday vs. Knicks
Kyle Lowry (back) will not play vs. the Knicks on Sunday and Greivis Vasquez will take his spot in the starting lineup.

Advice: It's a brutal blow for Lowry's fantasy owners, who can only hope that he's healthy enough to suit up in Detroit on Tuesday. Toronto is being cautious to avoid any long-term setback with the postseason just weeks away. "The problem is not whether [Lowry] can play through it but if he gets hit again," said coach Dwane Casey. Vasquez is a decent plug-and-play as a starter in Lowry's absence, especially if you need 3-pointers and assists. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose (knee) close to taking contact
Coach Tom Thibodeau said Derrick Rose is close to taking contact in practice.

Advice: Thibs still said he still doesn't know when Rose will be back, but he's certainly going to need to go through a practice or two before we have any idea when he'll be back. Fantasy owners can keep Rose on the wire in most leagues because the Bulls will handle his situation very carefully until the playoffs. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Pekovic (ankle) questionable for Sun
Nikola Pekovic (ankle) is questionable to play against the Hornets on Sunday.

Advice: His ankle are not capable of playing big minutes, so don't expect to see Pekovic get many minutes even if he can play. We're still not expecting him to play and aren't interested in picking him up. Gorgui Dieng is going to continue putting up huge numbers. Rotoworld.com
    Mar 21, 3:19 pm
  • Derrick Rose (knee) still listed as out
Derrick Rose (knee) is still listed as out for Saturday against the Pistons.

Advice: He is doing some non-contact stuff in practice and could get a full practice in at some point this month. Fantasy owners shouldn't be too eager in stashing Rose, especially with the fantasy playoffs just around the corner for most owners. Plus, Rose is unlikely to hit the ground running upon his return. • Beasley flirts with triple-double vs. Nuggets
Michael Beasley flirted with a low-grade triple-double on Friday against the Nuggets, scoring nine points on 4-of-13 shooting (including a three) with eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block in 34 minutes off the bench.

Advice: Beasley hasn't been a great standard league asset because of poor percentages and just 1.8 combined steals, threes and blocks over his last seven games. There is a chance he mops up for the Heat down the stretch of the season, but with the Heat rising in the standings and not falling -- that chance lessens by the game. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Dudley (back) will not play on Friday
Jared Dudley (back spasms) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. Brooklyn, and he is currently without an official timetable to return.

Advice: With Dudley out, Ersan Ilyasova will likely continue to see his minutes in the 30s, with Giannis Antetokounmpo getting all the run he can handle. Dudley belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Nick Young (knee) unlikely to make road trip
Lakers' head coach Byron Scott said he's doubtful Nick Young (knee) will accompany the team on their upcoming five-game road trip.

Advice: "I don’t see him going on this trip," Scott said. "He can do his therapy here." It sounds like Young will remain sidelined for at least the next six games, meaning he won't be able to return to action until April 1 at the earliest. Jordan Clarkson, Jeremy Lin, and Wayne Ellington will continue to log extended minutes in Young's absence, and at this point in the fantasy season, Swaggy P belongs on the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com
