    • Ends season with 30-point effort
Murray closed Wednesday's 131-116 Play-In Game loss to Chicago with 30 points (11-21 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and two steals across 46 minutes.

Advice: Despite dealing with an extended absence from Trae Young, Murray kept the team afloat and squeaked into the Play-In Tournament. Despite the disappointing end, Murray put together the best campaign of his seven-year career, averaging 22.5 points, 6.4 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals during his second year with the Hawks. While Young will almost certainly be headed elsewhere, Murray is locked into a contract with the Hawks and should continue to be a focal point of the offense next season. Rotowire.com Today, 4:00 am
    • Finishes season with 22 points
Young finished Wednesday's 131-116 Play-In Game loss to Chicago with 22 points (4-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 11-13 FT), two rebounds and 10 assists over 43 minutes.

Advice: Young may have played his last game in an Atlanta uniform Wednesday night. Young will likely test the market after a disappointing end to the 2023-24 season, and it seems to be foregone conclusion that he'll be headed elsewhere. The Hawks went 12-11 during Young's most recent absence, proving that the current roster can play break-even ball without him. Young's departure will free up considerable cap space, and with Dejounte Murray locked into a deal, the Hawks may look for a capable off-the-ball guard to complement him. Rotowire.com Today, 3:55 am
    • Trae Young posts 22/10 double-double in loss
Trae Young struggled on Wednesday but finished with 22 points (4-of-12 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), two rebounds, 10 assists, three triples and six turnovers against the Bulls.

Advice: Despite previously being undefeated in the Play-In Tournament, the magic ran out for Trae and the Hawks in this one. This was their third straight appearance in the Play-In after making the Eastern Conference Finals before that. While Young was able to come away with a 20-point double-double, his inefficient shooting and turnovers certainly weren’t pretty. He was a team-worst -27 in 43 minutes, which means they outscored Chicago by 12 points in his five minutes on the bench. There had already been plenty of rumors suggesting that Atlanta could trae Young this summer, and after a performance like this, those rumors will certainly heat up. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:36 pm
    • Dejounte Murray leads Hawks with 30/7/6/2 in loss
Dejounte Murray led Atlanta with 30 points (11-of-21 FGs), seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and three triples in a 131-116 loss to Chicago on Wednesday.

Advice: While his counterpart in the backcourt struggled in this game, Murray was able to turn in an excellent performance. He had a big first half and entered the break with 23 points. He hit a quick three to open the second half, but he wasn’t able to do much scoring after that. With Murray having an excellent game while Trae Young struggled, rumors will heat up quickly. There had already been plenty suggesting that Atlanta will move on from one of them, and a failed attempt to make the playoffs will not convince anyone that this team deserves another run. One way or another, Murray should be the sole point guard option on his team next year, which will be excellent for his fantasy production. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:28 pm
    • Shines bright in victory
Ellis recorded 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists, three blocks and three steals in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 118-94 Play-In Game victory over the Warriors.

Advice: Ellis continued his improbable rise Tuesday, helping the Kings to a comfortable victory over the Warriors. He has been a revelation on the defensive end for Sacramento, highlighted once again by his six combined steals and blocks. They will now face the Pelicans in a do-or-die contest with a spot in the playoffs up for grabs. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:05 pm
    • Lands five triples in win
Russell finished Tuesday's 110-106 Play-In Game victory over the Pelicans with 21 points (7-14 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes.

Advice: Russell was hot early, connecting on three of his five triples in the opening quarter. Although he did cool off, he was able to connect on a crucial three-pointer late in the piece, giving the Lakers a four-point lead with only seconds remaining. The Lakers will need Russell to stay hot should they hope to advance past the defending champion Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:48 pm
    • D’Angelo Russell produces 21 points, six assists
D’Angelo Russell shot 7-of-14 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 110-106 win over the Pelicans, scoring 21 points with six assists, one steal, one block, and five 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Advice: After hitting five 3-pointers in the Lakers’ rout of the Pelicans on Sunday, Russell made five more and scored 21 points on Tuesday. The fifth was a dagger from the corner right in front of the New Orleans bench with 50 seconds remaining that gave the Lakers a four-point lead. Those two games in New Orleans may have been what the doctor ordered for Russell, who shot a combined 10-of-39 from the field in games against the Timberwolves, Warriors, and Grizzlies. Next up for D’Lo and the Lakers is No. 2-seed Denver, with Game 1 of the series set for Saturday. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:41 pm
    • Expected to have healthy offseason
Bane (back) will be sidelined for a few more weeks but is expected to have a healthy summer, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.

Advice: Bane averaged 24.7 points, 5.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 34.9 minutes over his first 36 appearances of 2023-24 before injuries derailed his campaign. An ankle injury sidelined Bane from mid-January to mid-March, and he appeared in only five of the ensuing six games before a back issue cost him the final nine contests of the regular season. It was a lost season for the Grizzlies as a whole, as Ja Morant (suspension/shoulder), Marcus Smart (finger/foot) and others also missed extended periods. However, it sounds like the Grizzlies will have a healthy offseason, which bodes well for their chances of bouncing back in 2024-25. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:28 am
    • Tallies double-double in loss
Portis had 17 points (6-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 31 minutes during Sunday's 113-88 loss to the Magic.

Advice: Portis earned his third straight start in place of the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf), leading all Bucks in rebounds to go along with a team-high-tying point total in the lone double-double of the contest. Portis has stepped up nicely for Milwaukee to round out the regular season, posting a double-double in four of the final eight games of the year. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:29 pm
