    • Andrew Nembhard scores playoff career-high 32 PTS
      Andrew Nembhard was excellent in Saturday’s 114-111 loss to the Celtics, recording a line of 32 points (12-of-21 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, nine assists, and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

      Advice: The Pacers were without Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) for Game 3, and there were questions about who would step up offensively. Nembhard was one of the answers, as he established a new playoff career-high with 32 points. The second-year guard was also responsible for nine assists and just two turnovers, but the last may linger for a while. Nembhard’s pocket was picked by Jrue Holiday in the final seconds, with the Celtics leading by one. While Indiana did get a final opportunity to force overtime, that’s a play Nembhard will likely want back. Game 4 is on Monday, and the Pacers could again be without Haliburton.     • Derrick White blocks four shots in Game 3 victory
      Derrick White shot 3-of-11 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line in Saturday’s win over the Pacers, finishing with 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists, four blocks, and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

      Advice: Neither White nor Jrue Holiday (illness) shot the ball well in Game 3, but both came up big on the defensive end of the floor. While the latter was responsible for three steals, including one in the final seconds, the former racked up four blocked shots. White has accumulated six blocked shots and three steals for the series, more than making up for the inconsistent shooting. As for Holiday, he supplemented his three steals with 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, one block, and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes. Boston will look to close out the series on Monday night.     • Lonzo Ball (knee) plans to play in season opener
      Lonzo Ball (left knee surgery) said on his podcast that he plans to play in Chicago’s season opener in October.

      Advice: Ball hasn’t played in over two years, but as of now, he is planning to play this upcoming season. That is a long way away, so a lot could change over the next five months, but he appears to be optimistic. He also explained on his podcast that he had to get a new meniscus from a donor as part of his recovery, which is concerning for his long-term health.       Derrick White posted a full line on Thursday with 23 points (8-of-15 FGs), four rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers against Indiana.

      Advice: White came alive in the second half of this game and had 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting after halftime, which resulted in a full stat line for him. White was phenomenal against Miami, but he struggled for most of the Cleveland series and in Game 1 against the Pacers. However, if this second half performance can spark something for him, they shouldn’t have any issues advancing to the NBA Finals. Jayson Tatum also joined White in scoring exactly 23 points, and they’ll look to keep the offense up in Game 3 in Indiana on Saturday. Rotoworld Thursday, 8:34 pm
       
    • Impressive at both ends Thursday
      White ended Thursday's 126-110 win over the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals with 23 points (8-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes.

      Advice: Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics in their Game 2 victory, but White was impressive in his own right as well, recording at least 20 points for the fifth time in the current playoff run and also filling out the stat sheet admirably. White holds a secondary role in the Celtics' offensive scheme, but he still delivers excellent fantasy value due to his all-around ability and occasional scoring exploits.       Advice: Nembhard extended his run of playoff performances with double-digit points to five, and he's also dished out at least five assists three times during that span.       Advice: Outside of Pascal Siakam, Nembhard was really the only other Pacer that was able to get anything going offensively in this game. He had a decent performance, but what’s more important at this point is what he may have to do in their next game. Tyrese Haliburton exited early from this game due to left leg soreness, which is obviously a huge blow to their team. If Haliburton is forced to remain sidelined for Game 3 on Saturday, Nembhard and T.J. McConnell will split the duties at point guard. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:58 pm

      Pritchard logged eight points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and two assists over 23 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime win over the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

      Advice: The Celtics are using a very tight eight-man rotation right now, but Pritchard is pretty clearly the sixth man for the foreseeable future. He's been excellent through 11 playoff appearances, averaging 7.8 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds while hitting 47.0 percent from the field and 44.7 percent from beyond the arc.     • Alec Burks contributes 26 points in Game 7 loss
      Alec Burks shot 8-of-13 from the field and 8-of-8 from the foul line in Sunday’s 130-109 loss to the Pacers, amassing 26 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes.

      Advice: After not playing at all in the first seven games of the postseason, Burks moved into the Knicks rotation out of necessity. And the veteran guard was productive, reaching double figures in his last five games. Sunday’s performance was Burks’ best: he shot nearly 62% from the field and scored 26 points. That’s an excellent way to head into free agency this summer. Burks’ days of being a must-roster player in fantasy leagues may be finished, but he still has something left in the tank.
