    • Mike Conley (calf) questionable for Game 6 Thurs.
Mike Conley (right soleus strain) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.

Advice: While Minnesota’s inability to defend Nikola Jokic was the biggest storyline in Game 5, Conley’s absence was also impactful. Nickeil Alexander-Walker moved into the starting lineup and was solid, but not having Conley on the court negatively impacted Anthony Edwards. Edwards had his worst game of the series, shooting 5-of-15 from the field and committing four turnovers. With Minnesota’s season on the line, they desperately need a healthy Conley on the court for Thursday night. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:21 pm
    • Iffy for Game 6
Conley (Achilles) is questionable for Thursday's Game 6 against the Nuggets.

Advice: Conley was a late addition to the injury report ahead of Game 5 due to right Achilles soreness and was ultimately unable to play, allowing Nickeil Alexander-Walker to get his first start of the postseason. If Conley is sidelined again, Monte Morris would be a candidate for double-digit minutes off the bench. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:11 pm
    • Ruled out for Game 5
Conley (Achilles) won't play in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Nuggets, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Conley has been downgraded from questionable to out due to right Achilles soreness. In his absence, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Monte Morris will likely receive increased playing time. Conley's next chance to suit up is Game 6 on Thursday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 6:59 pm
    • Shams: Mike Conley (Achilles) ruled out Tuesday
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Mike Conley (right Achilles soreness) is out for Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Nuggets.

Advice: While Conley wasn’t added to the injury report until Tuesday afternoon, Timberwolves coach Chris Finch said his point guard was injured on the final play of Sunday’s Game 4 defeat. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Nickeil Alexander-Walker being the most likely candidate to fill it. While Jordan McLaughlin and Monte Morris are traditional point guards, neither defends as well as NAW. Conley’s absence also means even more playmaking opportunities for Anthony Edwards, which could boost his points and assist overs. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:58 pm
    • Luka Doncic (ankle, knee) probable for Game 5 Wed.
Luka Doncic (left ankle soreness, right knee sprain) is probable for Wednesday’s game against Oklahoma City.

Advice: Doncic remains on the injury report ahead of Wednesday’s crucial Game 5 but is listed as probable instead of questionable. He’ll be on the court; the question is how effective the Mavericks point guard will be. He’s looked frustrated during this series, and not being fully healthy doesn’t help matters. While Doncic recorded a triple-double in Monday’s Game 4 defeat, he shot 6-of-20 from the field and committed seven turnovers. Rotoworld Tuesday, 3:39 pm
    • Expected to play Wednesday
Doncic (knee/ankle) is listed as probable for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Thunder, Grant Afseth of SI.com reports.

Advice: Doncic continues to deal with a right knee sprain and left ankle soreness but is expected to suit up again. Doncic has averaged 41.0 minutes per contest across the first four games of the series and is unlikely to operate under a minutes restriction in a critical Game 5. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 3:37 pm
    • Mike Conley (Achilles) questionable Tuesday
Mike Conley (right Achilles) is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s Timberwolves-Nuggets matchup.

Advice: Conley is fresh off his best scoring performance of the series and totaled 15 points with nine assists in Game 4. Nickeil Alexander-Walker will be in line for a bump in minutes if Conley is ruled out. Rotoworld Tuesday, 11:27 am
    • Posts triple-double Monday
Doncic provided 18 points (6-20 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and two steals over 42 minutes during Monday's 100-96 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: On the surface, Doncic's final stat line looks good, as he posted his second triple-double of the postseason and made his presence felt on the defensive end. However, the star guard is battling with several injuries, and he looked a step slow in some sequences and was extremely inefficient with his shot. Doncic is averaging 22.0 points, 10.8 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game in the series against the Thunder, and the decrease in the scoring column is directly tied to the fact he's shooting a mere 39 percent from the floor. He'll aim to bounce back in Game 5 on Wednesday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:09 am
    • Luka Doncic posts inefficient triple-double Monday
Luka Doncic recorded a triple-double on Monday with 18 points (6-of-20 FGs), 12 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, one block, two triples and seven turnovers against the Thunder in Game 4.

Advice: As Doncic continues to play through multiple lower body injuries, his numbers have understandably suffered. Outside of Game 2, his shooting in this series has been way below average. He shot poorly in the first round as well, but it was covered up by gaudy numbers and wins. Injuries aren’t an excuse in the playoffs, and Dallas simply needs more out of their superstar if they want to win another game in OKC. The good news is that it doesn’t get much worse than 6-of-20 shooting and seven turnovers. He’ll look to bounce back in Game 5 on Wednesday. Rotoworld Monday, 9:52 pm
