    • Non-factor in Game 2 victory
Gafford logged zero points (0-3 FG), one rebound and one assist in nine minutes during Tuesday's 96-93 victory over the Clippers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Gafford got the starting nod but managed just nine minutes in the victory. Given the Mavericks' depth at the center position, Gafford's role is likely to hinge on individual matchups and his on-court production. With the series now level at 1-1, Dallas will head home as they attempt to seize the upper hand. Rotowire.com Today, 12:11 am
    • Daniel Gafford (back) limited to nine minutes
Daniel Gafford (lower back soreness) played nine minutes without scoring in Tuesday’s 96-93 win over the Clippers, accumulating one rebound and one assist.

Advice: Gafford appeared to tweak something in his back during the first quarter of Game 2, gingerly walking back to the locker room for further treatment. While Gafford did return, he only played nine minutes, with Dereck Lively II (7/9/1/1 in 21 minutes) starting the third quarter. Also stepping up in Gafford’s absence were PJ Washington (18/6/0/1/2 with three 3-pointers) and Maxi Kleber (6/6/1/0/1 with two 3-pointers). Game 3 is on Friday in Dallas, and Lively would be the next man up if Gafford cannot play. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:21 pm
    • Myles Turner tallies 22 points, three blocks
Myles Turner played 34 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Bucks, amassing 22 points (9-of-15 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), seven rebounds, six assists, three blocks, and three 3-pointers.

Advice: After shooting 5-of-17 from the field in Sunday’s Game 1 defeat, Turner was considerably better in Game 2. He was efficient as a scorer, shooting 60% from the field and 50% from three while also accounting for six assists (and no turnovers) and three blocked shots. If Turner can consistently reach this level of play, the Pacers can win this series, especially if Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) remains sidelined. Game 3 is on Friday in Indianapolis. • Checks back into game
Gafford (back) returned to Tuesday's Game 2 against the Clippers with 7:54 remaining in the second quarter.

Advice: Despite being deemed questionable to return due to a lower back injury, Gafford ultimately missed about a quarter of action Tuesday. The 24-year-old big man will look to make a bigger impact than he did in Game 1 when he tallied just three points and zero rebounds. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:05 pm
    • Questionable to return Tuesday
Gafford is questionable for the remainder of Tuesday's Game 2 against the Clippers due to a lower back injury.

Advice: Gafford recorded no stats in three minutes of action before exiting Tuesday's contest with 8:34 remaining in the first quarter due to a lower back injury. If Gafford is unable to return, Dereck Lively will likely serve as Dallas' primary center. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:41 pm
    • Goes for 22 points in Game 2
Porter totaled 22 points (8-13 FG, 6-10 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and two steals in 38 minutes during Monday's 101-99 victory over the Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Porter sniffed a double-double for the second consecutive game after delivering a 19-point, eight-rebound effort in Game 1 on Saturday, and the forward continues to impact both ends of the court for Denver. Even though he doesn't get the same attention as Nikola Jokic or Jamal Murray, Porter is a key piece in the Nuggets' offensive scheme, and he's averaging 16.2 points with 7.3 rebounds per game in April, including regular-season contests. • Leads Lakers in Game 2 defeat
Davis ended Monday's 101-99 loss to the Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with 32 points (14-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes.

Advice: Davis has led the Lakers in scoring in each of the first two games of the series, but despite producing back-to-back 30-plus point efforts in the matchup against Nikola Jokic, the Lakers have fallen short of victory both times. Davis will likely land on the injury report ahead of Game 3, but given the situation and the workload he's handled in the first two games of the series, the star big man shouldn't have problems being active for Game 3 on Thursday. • High scorer despite poor shooting
Brunson posted 24 points (8-29 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), eight rebounds and six assists over 38 minutes during Monday's 104-101 win over the 76ers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: A productive night at the charity stripe and decent secondary production helped mask Brunson's dreadful shooting night. The usually prolific guard has converted only 29.1 percent of his shots in the quarterfinals, and although the Knicks have pulled off a 2-0 lead amid the slump, the team's outlook will be much better if his shooting stroke gets back on track. • Anthony Davis records 32/11/2/1/1 line in Game 2
Anthony Davis shot 14-of-19 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Monday’s 101-99 loss to the Nuggets, accumulating 32 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 39 minutes.

Advice: Once again, Davis produced a gaudy stat line against the Nuggets. Unfortunately for him and the Lakers, they still lost the game, as Jamal Murray’s stepback jumper as time expired was the difference. And Davis offered little in the fourth quarter, missing his lone shot attempts and going scoreless with one rebound and one turnover. If the Lakers are to have a chance of winning the series, AD can’t be non-existent in crunch time. The good news for Los Angeles is that Game 3 isn’t until Thursday in Los Angeles, as the team looked gassed down the stretch on Monday. Rotoworld Monday, 10:08 pm
