    • Rudy Gay (Achilles) probable for Thursday
Rudy Gay (Achilles) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. Milwaukee.

Advice: Gay has been playing through his Achilles tendinitis for some time now, so we'd expect him to give it a go. With Omri Casspi (knee) already ruled out, Gay will get all the minutes he can handle in a favorable matchup against the Bucks, and he makes for a solid plug-and-play option in daily leagues. • Larry Sanders (suspension) out Thursday
Larry Sanders has been suspended for Thursday's game against Sacramento for pushing Nicolas Batum in the back as he elevated towards the basket.

Advice: That means that Zaza Pachulia is going to get all the run he can handle with Sanders, John Henson (foot), and Ersan Ilyasova (nose) unavailable, and he makes for a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Johnny O'Bryant may see some extended minutes off the bench, but he's still working himself into basketball shape, so Zaza is the guy to target here. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins (illness) probable Thursday
DeMarcus Cousins (illness) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. the Bucks.

Advice: Cousins' return would send Reggie Evans back to the bench, and Jason Thompson's value would take a hit. All signs are pointing towards Cousins giving it a go on Thursday, and he's obviously a must-start option when in uniform. Stay tuned for an official update as we draw closer to tip-off. • Kawhi Leonard (hand) out Friday vs. Portland
Kawhi Leonard (hand) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. Portland.

Advice: This will be Leonard's second consecutive game out of the lineup due to his sore hand, and we'll consider him questionable for Saturday's game vs. Dallas. Marco Belinelli, Manu Ginobili, and Danny Green will be asked to pick up the slack while Leonard is sidelined, and all those guys figure to be decent plug-and-play options in daily leagues. • Ryan Kelly (hamstring) getting up shots
Ryan Kelly (hamstring) got some shots up during the Lakers' practice on Thursday, but he's still not expected to make a return until January.

Advice: Kelly is currently one month into a 6-week timetable, but he's not going to have much value upon his eventual return playing behind Carlos Boozer, and Ed Davis. He can remain on the waiver wire in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jabari Parker suffered a 'slight' ACL tear
Jabari Parker reportedly suffered a "slight" ACL tear, and he won't have surgery for at least a week as they're waiting for the swelling in his knee to subside.

Advice: Parker remains out for the season, and we wish him a speedy recovery. The Bucks have been bit by the injury bug hard this season with Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle), Ersan Ilyasova (nose), and John Henson (foot) all on the injury report, but those are the guys that will be asked to pick up the slack with Parker sidelined. Antetokounmpo is being listed as questionable for Thursday, but he'll be a nice plug-and-play option if he can give it a go. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Antetokounmpo (ankle) questionable Thursday
Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Kings.

Advice: If Giannis isn't able to go, Khris Middleton, O.J. Mayo, and Jared Dudley would be in line for extended minutes with Middleton and Mayo offering the most upside. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Tyreke Evans questionable for Thursday
Tyreke Evans (right knee contusion) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Rockets.

Advice: Evans is averaging 23.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 1.0 treys over his last five games, so his fantasy owners will have to keep their fingers crossed that he'll be able to play Thursday night. If Evans sits, Austin Rivers and Luke Babbitt would see increased playing time, though neither are a very attractive plug-and-play option. Rotoworld.com

    • Lance Stephenson doubtufl for next two games
Lance Stephenson (pelvis) is doubtful for the Hornets' next two games with a pelvic sprain.

Advice: The Hornets play the 76ers on Friday and the Jazz on Saturday and it looks like they'll have to do so without Stephenson. We'll update his status after Friday's shootaround, but fantasy owners can expect to see more of Gerald Henderson, Marvin Williams, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Gary Neal if Stephenson is out for the weekend. • Markieff Morris lets emotions get best of him
Markieff Morris said his ejection during Wednesday's win over the Hornets stemmed from his emotions getting the best of him.

Advice: Of his ejection that occurred in the second half after two technical fouls that were two minutes and 33 seconds apart, Morris said, "I let my emotions get the best of me, which wasn't right." Morris shouldn't face suspension for his ejection and was still able to score 13 points with eight rebounds and one 3-pointer, so there will be better days to come for his fantasy owners. • James Harden scores 41 points in OT win
James Harden added his newest piece of evidence in his bid for MVP during a 115-111 overtime win over the Nuggets on Wednesday scoring 41 points with four rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He made 11-of-21 from the field and 18-of-21 from the field in 45 minutes. This line is pretty ridiculous and he became the sixth player since 1985-86 to have more than 20 attempts from the field, more than 20 attempts from the line, and at least 10 assists. The other five are Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Allen Iverson and Kenny Anderson. Harden is good. Rotoworld.com

    • Donatas Motiejunas keeps the party going
Donatas Motiejunas was fantastic against the Nuggets on Wednesday with 18 points, six rebounds, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

Advice: Terrence Jones (leg) is at least getting some shots up at practice, so he's at least on his way back. There is still no timetable for his return, so Motiejunas is good to go as a must-start guy right now. Keep him roster and cross the TJ bridge when you get to it. Rotoworld.com

    • Dwight Howard plays 43 minutes, scores 24
Dwight Howard played 43 minutes in an overtime win over the Nuggets on Wednesday with 24 points, 16 boards, one assist and four blocks on 7-of-16 from the field and 10-of-15 from the line.

Advice: The Rockets starters lived at the charity stripe with 48 attempts while their bench didn't have any. As for Howard, he was as dominant as he has been all season and helped keep the Nuggets out of the paint. His 43 minutes are a very encouraging sign and his fantasy owners should have some shred of confidence in him now. Of course, it makes a lot of sense to sell high considering how much time he missed from an injury that came out of nowhere. Rotoworld.com

    • Kenneth Faried double-doubles
Kenneth Faried started on Wednesday against the Rockets with 11 points, 11 boards, two assists and three turnovers in 32 minutes.

Advice: He fouled out and had an egregious turnover at the end of regulation, so it wasn't all good. Even before his ankle injury, Faried was in coach Brian Shaw's doghouse, which is nothing new in his second season with the coach. He worked his way out of the doghouse last season and erupted as one of the best power forwards in the NBA. Fantasy owners should try to buy low before he turns in a huge game. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles scores 17 in loss to Clippers
C.J. Miles came off the bench to hit 6-of-14 shots and two 3-pointers for 17 points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal in Wednesday's loss to the Clippers.

Advice: He had 20 points and three 3-pointers on Monday night, and had a 30-point game on December 10. He appears to be over his knee injury and it would not be surprising to see him replace Solomon Hill in the starting lineup at some point in the near future. He's a streaky shooter and has trouble staying healthy, so make sure you can handle the headaches that are coming if you pick him up. Rotoworld.com

    • Lavoy Allen goes for 12-14-3 in loss
Lavoy Allen had 12 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks on 6-of-11 shooting off the bench in 31 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: Roy Hibbert was dreadful tonight and Allen picked up his slack. Allen had scored six or fewer points in his three previous games, so it's doubtful that he does this again in the next one. But if Hibbert is ever benched or injured, Allen will be the guy you'll want to pick up. Rotoworld.com

    • Solo Hill starts, scores 10 points in loss
Solomon Hill started and hit 2-of-8 shots for two 3-pointers, 10 points, three rebounds, six assists and a steal in 33 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: He's been hit or miss for a couple weeks now and with C.J. Miles healthy and starting to play better, Hill could struggle to hold onto his starting gig for much longer. Rotoworld.com

    • Larry Sanders plays 21 minutes
Larry Sanders played 21 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday with nine points, four rebounds and one steal.

Advice: He is not getting minutes at power forward, so he's not going to benefit from the injury to Jabari Parker (knee). Before tonight, Sanders has actually played just 67 minutes this season without Jabari next to him, so tonight foreign territory to a small degree. He's an inconsistent player and that's not going to change. Rotoworld.com

    • Amir Johnson nearly double-doubles in win
Amir Johnson played 31 minutes and had 13 points, nine rebounds and a block on 5-of-8 shooting on Wednesday.

Advice: He hit just 3-of-6 free throws, but this was a much better line than we've seen from him lately. He's usually outplayed by Patrick Patterson, but that wasn't the case tonight. Pat-Pat had 13 points and three 3-pointers, but just two rebounds, and it's possible that Johnson could finally be ready to start playing. Keep a close eye on this timeshare in the next one. • Giannis Antetokounmpo's injury is not serious
Giannis Antetokounmpo's left ankle injury is not considered serious and there is a chance he plays against the Kings on Thursday.

Advice: This is great news. The Bucks absolutely need Antetokounmpo back with Jabari Parker (knee) out for the season. Obviously, this positive outlook could change quickly and he is very questionable to play in a late game. If he's out, Khris Middleton would start and have decent value in standard leagues. Jared Dudley would also gain value. Rotoworld.com

    • Mason Plumlee goes for 23 & 8 in loss
Mason Plumlee made another start for Brook Lopez (back) and had a career-high 23 points, eight rebounds and two blocks on 9-of-13 shooting in Wednesday's loss.

Advice: Plumlee got off to a dreadful start when Bro-Lo went down, but has now scored 21 and 23 points in his last two games. He's a free throw killer and hit just 5-of-11 of them tonight, but as long as Lopez is out, Plumlee should be in your lineup. He's averaging 16.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks over his last five games, but is shooting just 43 percent at the line during that stretch. Rotoworld.com

    • Quincy Pondexter plays 23 minutes in start
Quincy Pondexter played 23 minutes in start against the Spurs on Wednesday with four points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Advice: Pondexter had a solid preseason, but he's been quiet on the season. Vince Carter has found the fountain of youth off the bench, so Pondexter is going to have a tough time having fantasy value even with Tony Allen out. Rotoworld.com

    • Boris Diaw scores 17 points with 13 boards
Boris Diaw scored 17 points with 13 boards, five assists and three 3-pointer sin 39 minutes against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Advice: It was his first double-double of the season and he matched his season high in triples tonight. Diaw has been a valuable piece for the Spurs this season when they sit their veterans. While he is 32, he hasn't sat any game this season, which could change after tonight. He's a low-end player to own in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Enes Kanter goes for 18 & 6 in win
Enes Kanter hit 7-of-12 shots and a 3-pointer for 18 points, six rebounds and a steal on Wednesday.

Advice: He didn't block a shot, which is pretty normal, but this line is hardly even newsworthy these days. Kanter is averaging 18.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 0.6 steals, 0.6 blocks and 0.4 3-pointers over his last five games. Rotoworld.com

Gordon Hayward got hot and hit 9-of-13 shots, 4-of-5 3-pointers and 7-of-7 free throws for 29 points, six rebounds, seven assists and a block in Wednesday's win over the Heat.

Advice: He didn't have any season highs tonight, but his shooting was out of this world and he finished with one of his better lines in what has been a fantastic season for the Butler product. Rotoworld.com
      Yesterday, 9:37 pm
    • Derrick Favors quiet in return from injury
Derrick Favors had 11 points, six rebounds, one assist, a steal and a block on 3-of-8 shooting in 33 minutes in his return from an ankle injury on Wednesday.

Advice: Favors is back and while he didn't do much tonight, he did hurt Rudy Gobert's minutes (19) badly. Favors should be good to go from here on out, so get him back in your lineup. Rotoworld.com
      Yesterday, 9:30 pm
    • Gerald Green scores 16 points off the bench
Gerald Green scored 16 points off the bench against the Hornets during a 111-106 win on Wednesday, adding five rebounds, one steal and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He picked up a ton of minutes at the forward spots with Markieff Morris being ejected. Green is the only player in the NBA to average at least 11 shots per game with less than 25 minutes per game, so he might actually hold some value in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) out for game
Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) will not return to Wednesday's game against the Blazers.

Advice: The Bucks are not having a good week. Jabari Parker tore his ACL on Monday and Antetokounmpo could be looking at some time on the sidelines. He was playing terrific in this game, finishing with 10 points, six rebounds and one steal in 18 minutes. Khris Middleton started the second half in his place and is worth a long look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Dwight Howard (knee) will play against the nuggets on Wednesday.

Advice: He went through warmups and everything appears to be fine. Howard admitted he had some soreness following Saturday, but that's to be expected with how much time he missed. Fantasy owners can use him like they normally would. Expect the Nuggets to be in foul trouble tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • Markieff Morris tossed for 2 technical fouls
Markieff Morris was ejected for two technical fouls against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Advice: He started slow, but had it going as he was ejected for arguing with a ref. Morris finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and one 3-pointer on 6-of-10 from the field. He won't be suspended and hopefully he keeps his temper in check against the Knicks on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

    • Gerald Green coming off the bench again
Gerald Green will come off the bench against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Advice: He launched 15 triples in his last start on Monday and will move back to a bench role with Goran Dragic back. Green's minutes are going to be inconsistent, so he's not a must-own player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Derrick Favors will play on Wednesday night
Derrick Favors (ankle) will play against the Heat on Wednesday, but is still dealing with soreness.

Advice: He went through shootaround on Tuesday and perhaps playing him in one of two games in the back-to-back set was the plan. Favors has been playing well in the starting lineup and his owners should have him locked and loaded for tonight. Rudy Gobert will move back to the bench, but it should be interesting to see if he gets more playing time due to how he's turning heads. Rotoworld.com

DeMarcus Cousins (illness) practiced on Wednesday and plans to play against the Bucks on Thursday.

Advice: The Kings will likely make a decision following shootaround on Thursday. Dwight Howard (knee) participated in the morning shootaround, but is still questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Denver.

Advice: His status will likely be determined closer to tip-off, so his owners will have to frequently check back for updates. If he is held out of Wednesday's game, Tarik Black would likely start but still wouldn't be an asset in most leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker out Wednesday
Kawhi Leonard (hand) and Tony Parker (hamstring) will not play against Memphis on Wednesday.

Advice: This is just a reminder so owners can have a backup plan ready in time for Wednesday's tip-off. Cory Joseph is the obvious beneficiary in Parker's absence while Marco Belinelli and Manu Ginobili will see increase workloads in place of Leonard. We will update Leonard as needed and he is simply dealing with a sore hand and should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld.com

Kenneth Faried (ankle) will start for the Nuggets on Wednesday after practicing in full on Tuesday.

Advice: He has had some tough luck with injuries over the past two weeks, but he will look to put that behind him in a key matchup against Houston. Faried has been in a slump since the beginning of the season, but he is loaded with talent and should turn it around soon. The buy-low window is wide open, so now may be your chance to snag him in a trade. J.J. Hickson will return to the bench with this news, and owners in standard leagues can think about moving on. Rudy Gay dropped 22 points in Tuesday's loss to the Thunder, adding six boards, three assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

Advice: He shot just 8-of-20 from the field, but Gay has to be feeling gassed from carrying the Kings in the absence of DeMarcus Cousins (illness). Gay is one of the few players on the Kings roster who can create his own shot, so his shooting percentage is clearly going to take a hit until Cousins returns. Mason Plumlee stayed hot on Tuesday during a loss to the Heat, scoring 21 points to go with nine boards, one assist, one steal and one block in 32 minutes.

Advice: He was impressive once again on Tuesday and managed to connect on 8-of-12 from the field. Brook Lopez isn't expected to be re-evaluated until Saturday, so the window for playing time is still open for Plumlee. If you are in need of short-term value, Plumlee is definitely worth a look. • Enes Kanter impresses with 29 points Tuesday
Enes Kanter was impressive in Tuesday's game vs. the Pelicans, scoring 28 points to go with seven boards, one assist, two steals and one block in 37 minutes.

Advice: He was a tank inside the paint on Tuesday, and was able to hoist up 22 shots on the night, connecting on 12 of them. Kanter doesn't usually contribute blocks and steals consistently, which makes him tough to own in standard leagues. However, Kanter has seen his value rise in the absence of Derrick Favors (ankle), and should be owned for owners in need of points and rebounds. Rotoworld.com

    • Tyreke Evans scores 19 with six assists
Tyreke Evans scored 19 points in Tuesday's win over the Jazz, adding six assists, and four boards in 33 minutes.

Advice: After two games in a row in which he scored 31 or more points, Evans fell back down to earth in Tuesday's game. While he did fail to hit a 3-pointer or record a block or a steal, Evans has been a revelation this season and owners really don't have anything to complain about. Keep him active in all lineups, but expect a slight dip in production now that Anthony Davis is back. Rotoworld.com

Parker will finish his rookie season with averages of 12.3 points, 5.5 boards, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 30 minutes per game. Advice: We'll be awaiting the results of his MRI, and will pass along updates as soon as they become available. The Bucks don't return to Milwaukee until Dec. 23, so Jabari could be sidelined for the rest of the week. Advice: Gobert put up seven points, nine rebounds, two steals, and three blocks during his last start, and he'll make for a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues. • Kenneth Faried (ankle) will play Wednesday
Updating a previous report, Kenneth Faried (ankle) will return to the starting lineup on Wednesday as the Nuggets take on the Rockets.

Advice: J.J. Hickson will head back to the bench upon Faried's return, and he can be cut in standard leagues. Faried hasn't been living up to his potential this season, but there are still a lot of games left, and he tends to be a second-half player. The buy-low window remains open. Rotoworld.com

The Spurs are currently awaiting the results of further testing that is being performed today in San Antonio, and we'll keep you posted as soon as details become available. Dwight Howard (right knee strain) is now being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Denver

Advice: Howard returned to the lineup on Saturday, logging 30 minutes and putting up 26 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks. However, he said he felt "tight" on Sunday, and it's a bit concerning that the Rockets are listing him as questionable after he missed a month with the injury. If he's forced to sit, Tarik Black would slide back into the starting lineup, although he doesn’t do enough to warrant consideration in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

Derrick Favors (ankle) was present at Jazz shootaround and is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans.

Advice: It's a good sign that Favors was able to partake in shootaround, but we'll have to loop back for some more concrete news as we get closer to game time. Rudy Gobert would be a great spot-start if Favors is unable to go, while Enes Kanter would see a boost in his fantasy value as well. Rotoworld.com

    • Jabari Parker's X-rays come back negative
X-rays on Jabari Parker's left knee came back negative, according to Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times.

Advice: This doesn't mean we're out of the woods just yet as Parker will still have an MRI on what is currently believed to be a knee strain on Tuesday. If Parker is forced to miss extended time, Giannis Antetokounmpo would become a must-own player in all fantasy leagues while Khris Middleton and Ersan Ilyasova (nose) would also see a boost to their minutes. • Pacers owner leaving Stephenson trade to Bird
Pacers owner Herb Simon said he would support a trade to bring Lance Stephenson back to Indianapolis, but is leaving the decision to team president Larry Bird.

Advice: With Stephenson eligible to be traded starting Monday, the Hornets have been rumored to be looking for a trade partner and the Pacers have been the low-hanging fruit in those rumors. "I'd be OK with it but it's not up to me. Larry (Bird) has to decide if he fits," Simon said. Stephenson has struggled in his short time in Charlotte, so a trade would be good news for his fantasy owners as it can't get much worse than his 38.9 percent field goal percentage and 10.4 points per game. • Kawhi Leonard scores 21 points vs. Blazers
Kawhi Leonard scored 21 points against the Blazers during a 108-95 loss on Monday to go with nine rebounds, four assists and one block in 33 minutes.

Advice: He made 7-of-18 from the field and did a lot of his scoring off the dribble. His usage rate tonight was higher than any game in his career with at least 15 minutes on the court. On the downside, he is shooting much worse on pull-ups this season, which explains the 6.8 percent dip in field goal percentage. Leonard has been a top-20 player on the season. Rotoworld.com

    • Point Bebe: Boris Diaw drops nine dimes
Boris Diaw handed out a season-high nine assists against the Blazers on Monday with 10 points, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He didn't top 26 minutes in any of his previous six games, but was up to 36 tonight with the Spurs resting the cavalry. Diaw has fared well on most of his nights while Tim Duncan and Tony Parker are resting, so just keep this line in mind in the future. Rotoworld.com

    • Recording: Larry Sanders gets in foul trouble
Larry Sanders was in foul trouble as per usual on Monday against the Suns, playing just 13 minutes with no points, one rebound and one steal.

Advice: He had a nice game on Saturday, but inconsistency is Larry Sanders' middle name. His averages weren't too bad before tonight with 7.5 points, 6.3 boards, 1.6 blocks and 1.0 steals, so there is some promise here. Sanders doesn't play power forward, so don't expect him to gain value. If the inconsistent nights are too much for you, there's no need to be too attached to him. Rotoworld.com

DeMarcus Cousins (viral meningitis) could play on Thursday against the Bucks, but his minutes would be limited.

Advice: Cousins is in the middle of a storm right now and it will be extremely interesting to watch how he reacts as chess pieces appear to be moving wildly around him without his input. To his credit, he has taken the high road while expressing his displeasure with the situation, and if he keeps his head down and plays hard he'll probably come out of this situation smelling better than most. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a sub-par showing against the Suns on Monday with six points, eight rebounds and two turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: He played a little out of position tonight and he'll likely have to play some power forward with Jabari Parker (knee) going down. Antetokounmpo has been keeping his fouls down and his shot selection is much better, so he should see a slight uptick in overall production while Parker is out. He's worth owning in standard leagues. Gerald Green launched 15 attempts from beyond the arc on Monday against the Bucks, making just two of them on his way to 12 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block in 40 minutes.

Advice: He was not bashful tonight and a lot of shots from Green is nothing new. Goran Dragic could miss another game or two, so Green should have some decent short-term value. Additionally, no player has taken more treys in a game this season than Gerald did tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • Markieff Morris scores 25 points vs. Bucks
Markieff Morris made 9-of-13 from the field for 25 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two 3-pointers and six turnovers against the Bucks on Monday.

Advice: He had an awful game against the Thunder due to foul trouble and bounced back nicely in 37 minutes. Morris has seen his fouls go up recently, but it's still not enough to be alarmed. He's posting top-30 total value on the season and there's no reason to think he won't be in that neighborhood at season's end. Rotoworld.com

    • Miles scores 20 points off the bench
C.J. Miles (knee) played on Monday and scored 20 points with three triples in 26 minutes off the bench.

Advice: Miles hit 8-of-16 shots and had just one steal in the rest of his line, highlighting why he's not worth much in fantasy leagues. He's hot right now and also an injury risk, so give him a look as a shorter-term play and cross your fingers if you take the plunge. Rotoworld.com

    • Stephenson scores eight points on Monday
Lance Stephenson scored eight points on 4-of-12 shooting with two rebounds, four assists and two steals in 25 minutes on Monday.

Advice: Stephenson's two steals make this line a lot better than what we see on most nights, but the real issue here is where he'll be traded and what that will do to his value. It can't get much worse than it is in Charlotte, making him a buy low guy with a bigger name than fantasy game due to all of his deficiencies in standard formats. Rotoworld.com

C.J. Miles will come off the bench on Monday night against the Lakers.

Advice: Solomon Hill is going to start again next to C.J. Watson, Rodney Stuckey, David West and Roy Hibbert. Dwight Howard "was tight" on Sunday after a game on Saturday, but is good to go for Wednesday.

    • Derrick Favors (ankle) questionable for Tues
Derrick Favors (ankle) was limited in practice on Monday and is questionable for Tuesday against the Pelicans.

Advice: This is a great sign that he won't be out for too long. Perhaps Tuesday is optimistic for Favors, but the Jazz have three more games this week (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). After seeing Rudy Gobert shine in the past two games, the Jazz probably won't rush him back. • J. Kidd heaps praise all over Jabari Parker
Jason Kidd praised Jabari Parker's performance after battling Blake Griffin in Saturday's win over the Clippers.

Advice: "I don't judge on first or second (halves)," Kidd said. "I just look at the complete game and I thought he did a great job against one of the top players in the world in Blake (Griffin)." Griffin had just 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting in 39 minutes, while Parker had 12 points and five rebounds on 6-of-11 shooting. Kawhi Leonard (bruised hand) set a career high with six blocks during Sunday's win over the Nuggets, while also tying his career high with five steals.

Advice: Leonard also scored 18 points with eight rebounds, four assists and only one turnover. He's playing a career-high 31.9 minutes per game this season, racking up elite fantasy value with 14.8 points (46.0 percent FGs, 75.0 percent FTs), 1.0 threes, 7.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.5 blocks. Those numbers aren't likely to dip as the season progresses but they could easily improve, giving Leonard nice upside after a relatively slow start to the season. Markieff Morris scored just four points in Sunday's loss to the Thunder, adding one rebound in 10 minutes.

Advice: It was by far his worst game of the season, and the low minutes occurred due to the fact that he had five fouls in 10 minutes. Gerald Green started in place of Goran Dragic (back) during Sunday's loss to the Thunder, scoring 15 points with seven boards, one assist and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

Advice: He was the best player on the floor for the Suns, but still shot just 5-of-13 overall. It is unclear how much time Dragic will have to miss, but Green should be picked up in most leagues if he is available. Rotoworld.com

Tyreke Evans followed up Friday's 31-point, 10-assist outburst with 34 points vs. the Warriors on Sunday, making 13-of-25 field goals and 6-of-9 free throws in a tough home loss.

Advice: Evans added two 3-pointers, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks before fouling out after 41 minutes of action. His field goal percentage has turned around over the past eight games, during which he's averaged 18.6 points on 48.6 percent shooting, up from his 41.8 percent average through Dec. 1. The potential return of Eric Gordon (shoulder) in a few weeks could bump Evans back to SF, where he could struggle again, but for now his owners should be grateful for his efficient production. Gordon Hayward made only 4-of-14 shots to finish Sunday's road loss with 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and two turnovers in 34 minutes.

Advice: Hayward was red-hot to begin the season but he's since settled into top-50 value, which should be sustainable as the primary option in Utah's offense. Fantasy owners' only concern should be his FG percentage, which is slogging along at 40.7 percent over Utah's past seven games. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Faried injured his ankle during Saturday's game against the Rockets, and though he was able to return to that game, his ankle is too sore to give it a go today. J.J. Lance Stephenson will become trade-eligible on Monday, and the Hornets are reportedly looking for a trade partner.

Advice: Charlotte and Indiana have had preliminary discussions regarding Stephenson, but the talks haven't gone far, according to sources. So far, Charlotte has been unwilling to include a first-round draft pick in order to unload Stephenson, which has been a hindrance to any deal involving Lance. Some of the top players in this league, that's what they do." The Greek Freak has already attempted 98 free throws this season, after attempting 202 all of last season. Advice: This comes as nor surprise as the Jazz have no reason to play Favors at less than 100 percent. As previously mentioned, X-rays were negative on his ankle but there is still no known timetable for his return. The Jazz were hopeful that he would be able to give it a go on Sunday but his ankle swelled up more over the night. Derrick Favors (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Wizards.

Advice: X-rays were negative, but the Jazz haven't said much else about his status or the severity of the sprain. It is a good sign that Favors is traveling with the team and even better that he hasn't already been ruled out, but we would guess that the Jazz would rest him if he isn't at 100 percent. Rudy Gay made 6-of-22 from the field for 20 points against the Pistons during a 95-90 loss on Saturday, adding eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Advice: Outside of the awful shooting, this was a pretty nice line from Gay. He has been battling some Achilles soreness and has faded recently later in games. In fact, Gay has made 52.6 percent from the field in the first half of games and just 38.6 percent in the second half of games this season. Regardless, he'll be a stud a long as he stays healthy. James Harden logged the third triple-double of his career on Saturday with 25 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Advice: He did make just 7-of-20 from the field, which dropped his season shooting to just 41.7 percent. On the other hand, he's made 89.1 percent of his 9.6 free throws per game, which boost his true shooting percentage to 57.8 percent. Dwight Howard played 30 minutes in his return to the lineup against the Nuggets on Saturday, scoring 26 points with 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks.

Advice: Well, so much for Dwight Howard affecting him negatively. Motiejunas has been hot in his last five, averaging 17.2 points, 6.8 boards, 1.0 blocks and 0.4 triples on 53.7 percent from the field. Kenneth Faried returned from an in-game ankle injury on Saturday against the Rockets, finishing with seven points, three rebounds, two assists and one block in 20 minutes.

Advice: He's easily the most frustrating player to own this season. Faried is the No. 164 player based on per-game value in standard leagues and his numbers are actually trending down. The Nuggets paid him big bucks and they kept him in the doghouse in December last year as well, so there is still hope for him to turn it around. Rotoworld.com

Lance Stephenson struggled again on Saturday, scoring 11 points on 5-of-13 shooting while adding two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes.

Advice: He has quickly lost the trust of his head coach, and you can tell it is impacting his confidence. The trade rumors also might have caused some distractions for him, but at this point a trade may not be a bad thing for his value. Advice: He made just 4-of-13 from the field and can't get it going. Hill was off to a horrible start in training camp and to start the season, but came on about a month ago. However, he's really fallen apart in his last five, making just 32.6 percent from the field for averages of 8.6 points, 3.8 boards, 3.2 assists and 0.2 steals. Leave him on the wire even with C.J. Leonard is said to only be dealing with a simple bruise, but given that he plays for the Spurs it is no surprise that they are being cautious with him. • Dwight Howard expected to play 20-24 minutes
Dwight Howard (knee) is expected to play 20-24 minutes in his return on Saturday.

Advice: He'll play in 4-5 minute spurts, according to coach Kevin McHale. The Rockets played really well without Howard and they certainly won't want him to aggravate his knee injury, so he could see limited playing time for a few games. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 3:26 pm
    • Solomon Hill starting against the Blazers
Solomon Hill is starting in place of C.J. Miles (knee) on Saturday against the Blazers.

Advice: Hill was bumped from the starting lineup on Friday and will be thrust back into it with the Miles injury. Hill is really struggling right now, which prompted coach Frank Vogel to make the switch. Hill is a risky player to start tonight. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 2:31 pm
    • C.J. Miles (bruised knee) out on Saturday
C.J. Miles (knee) will not play against the Blazers on Saturday.

Advice: He hoped to play, but the Pacers are probably smart enough to know that using Miles at less than 100 percent is a dangerous game. Solomon Hill and Chris Copeland figure to get more minutes with Hill having the bigger upside in fantasy leagues. Miles can be left on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 2:03 pm
    • Dwight Howard will play on Saturday vs. DEN
Dwight Howard (knee) will play against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: "I'm just thankful to be back out there," Howard said. "Nobody wants to sit on the bench in a suit and watch his team play." The Rockets have been rolling without him, winning nine of their last 10 games. Howard has been out since Nov. 19 and should get a good amount of minutes. Donatas Motiejunas should see his usage rate go down while Tarik Black and Joey Dorsey will lose most of their minutes. Rotoworld.com

    • Derrick Favors (ankle) travels with the team
Derrick Favors (ankle) is traveling with the team, but the Jazz have not provided an update.

Advice: The team is on a six-game road trip, so the fact that he's traveling doesn't mean much. Rudy Gobert had a huge game on Friday and is probably the favorite to start on Sunday against the Wizards. Trevor Booker will also get some more run while Enes Kanter has played his best sans Favors. • Kenneth Faried to come off bench again Sat
Kenneth Faried will come off of the bench again on Saturday, though coach Brain Shaw stressed that the move was not permanent.

Advice: J.J. Hickson will draw another start, but it is at least somewhat encouraging that coach Shaw said it wasn't permanent. Faried is loaded with upside and it is only a matter of time before he gets it going, so the buy-low window could be gone before you know it. Rotoworld.com

    • Dwight Howard (knee) upgraded to probable
Dwight Howard (knee) was upgraded to probable for Saturday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: After sitting out for 11 games in a row, Howard may finally make his return to the court in a favorable matchup with Denver. There is still a chance he sits, so owners need to be on alert for any updates prior to the game. If Howard sits, Donatas Motiejunas will continue to be a must-start option while Tarik Black and Joey Dorsey will also see increased run. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 8:45 am
    • X-rays were negative on Derrick Favors' ankle
X-rays were negative on Derrick Favors' ankle, and he is believed to be dealing with an ankle sprain.

Advice: The Jazz are going to provide an update sometime on Saturday, so owners will have to wait patiently until then. While it is good news, owners are not out of the woods just yet if it is determined that it is a severe sprain. If he is forced to miss time, Trevor Booker will see some increased run, but French phenom Rudy Gobert had his best NBA game on Friday and actually started the second half. If Gobert is available in your league, he is worth a speculative add. Rotoworld.com

    • Kanter goes for 25 and eight with Favors out
Enes Kanter went for 25 and eight with Derrick Favors (ankle) playing just 10 minutes in the Jazz's 100-95 loss to the Heat.

Advice: Kanter hit 10-of-17 shots (including a three) and all four of his free throw attempts, but as usual he did not have a steal, block or assist. With Favors leaving the arena in a boot there could be a nice window for Kanter to produce in, so pick him up but realize he'll never be a high upside player in standard formats due to the aforementioned deficiencies. • Green scores three points in 21 minutes
Gerald Green hit just 1-of-7 shots (1-of-6 3PTs) for three points, one rebound, one assist and one block in 21 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Advice: This had nothing to do with the return of Isaiah Thomas -- Green was just bad. He's been worth owning in standard leagues and one game shouldn't change that, but he could become more of a borderline play as loses a handful of touches. In any event, he's going to be a boom or bust play on most nights. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 12:17 am
    • Derrick Favors (ankle) leaves in walking boot
Derrick Favors (ankle) left the arena on Friday in a walking boot.

Advice: The Jazz ruled him out quickly after his ankle sprain, so he's likely going to miss some time. Favors was in the midst of a breakout season and his owners will just have to hope he's not out for too long. Rudy Gobert had arguably his best game of his NBA career tonight while Trevor Booker also stepped up. Rotoworld.com

    • Tyreke Takeover: Evans drops 31 points in win
Tyreke Evans took over against the Cavs on Friday with 31 points, two rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers on 13-of-24 from the field.

Advice: He attempted six shots from deep and the other 18 shots came from within six feet, which has been his calling card for the past two seasons. Evans bounced back nicely from arguably his worst game of the season on Wednesday and he'll look to keep it going on Sunday against the red-hot Warriors. If Anthony Davis (chest) needs to miss time, Evans should be a beast. Rotoworld.com

    • Lance Stephenson has a thumb issue
Lance Stephenson suffered an apparent thumb injury on Friday against the Grizzlies, finishing with eight points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one turnover.

Advice: He did stay in the game, but was in serious pain for close to a minute. Stephenson didn't play down the stretch in overtime and coach Steve Clifford doesn't seem to have total confidence in him. He is a buy-low player to a degree because he's the No. 229 player on per-game value this season, but he's very unlikely to be a mid-round guy. Rotoworld.com

    • Mason Plumlee has best game of the season
Mason Plumlee made 9-of-14 from the field for 18 points with 10 rebounds and two steals against the 76ers on Friday.

Advice: He did a very good job on the defensive end and kept his fouls down. Plumlee will likely get a couple more starts with Brook Lopez (back) and Mirza Teletovic (hip) on the shelf. If you're looking for a center, give him a look. Rotoworld.com

    • Miles hoping to return on Saturday vs. POR
C.J. Miles hopes to return for Saturday's game against the Blazers after leaving Friday's game due to a bruised left knee.

Advice: Owners should know by now not to chase Miles' numbers and that's before we consider his durability issues. But for what it's worth it sounds like this injury is minor. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 9:52 pm
    • Hill scores 16 points with three blocks
Solomon Hill moved into a bench role on Friday but was productive when C.J. Miles (knee) left the game, scoring 16 points on 5-of-8 shootijng (1-of-2 from deep, 5-of-6 from the line) with three rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 30 minutes.

Advice: Miles is hoping to play Saturday so Hill's minutes are in jeopardy, and even when he was getting a full workload he was barely worth owning. Outside of deep leagues, owners shouldn't chase here. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 9:50 pm
    • C.J. Miles (knee) out for game on Friday
C.J. Miles suffered a bruised left knee on Friday and will not return.

Advice: Well, he had a bruised knee earlier in the game and the team said he would return. After returning, he was ruled out later in the game. Miles is about as durable as Mr. Glass, so it's going to be very hard to count on him in fantasy leagues. Solomon Hill and Chris Copeland will benefit sans Miles. He finished with five points, one rebound, two steals and one 3-pointer. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard (hand) will not play vs. Lakers
Kawhi Leonard (hand) will not play against the Lakers on Friday.

Advice: This will be his second game out of the lineup, but nothing is structurally wrong. Leonard has now missed three games with an eye infection and this hand issue, which are two of the strangest injuries of the season. Marco Belinelli and Kyle Anderson will likely benefit the most. • Solomon Hill is coming off the bench
Solomon Hill will come off the bench against the Clippers on Friday.

Advice: He looked like he was safe, but only played 17 minutes on Wednesday. Hill is stuck in a bad slump over his last five, making just 34.1 percent from the field for 7.2 points per game. If you still own him in a standard, it's time to start looking for other options. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 3:12 pm
    • C.J. Miles is starting on Friday night
C.J. Miles will start on Friday night against the Raptors.

Advice: He is coming off a huge 30-point game on Wednesday and coach Frank Vogel looks like he wants to ride the hot hand. Miles was the heavy favorite to start at small forward in the offseason, but injuries and ineffectiveness hurt him. He's not quite worth grabbing in standard leagues just yet, but a strong game tonight could change that. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins could practice next week
DeMarcus Cousins (illness) could practice next week, according to coach Mike Malone.

Advice: That means he's likely over one week from returning. Cousins did a light workout on Friday and will likely have a few more of those. His fantasy owners should be planning on benching him next week. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins getting shots up at practice
DeMarcus Cousins (illness) was getting shots up at practice on Friday.

Advice: He still has no timetable to return and there are some reports of him being out until January. The Kings are not going to rush him back, but there is a decent chance he can make it back in a week or so. Until then, Derrick Williams, Ben McLemore and Darren Collison have stepped up while Ryan Hollins and Reggie Evans will get more minutes as well. Rotoworld.com

    • Dwight Howard listed as doubtful for now
Dwight Howard (knee) is still listed as doubtful for Saturday.

    • Rudy Gay still wears pressurized walking boot
Rudy Gay continues to wear a pressurized walking boot on his right foot, as he's still dealing with Achilles tendinitis.

Advice: Gay is playing despite dealing with the discomfort, but this will be something we'll continue to monitor. He's missed a couple games this year due to his troublesome Achilles, and if he were ever to miss extended time, Omri Casspi would make for a solid pickup. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • What back injury? James Harden scores 44
James Harden put the Rockets on his back during a 113-109 overtime win against the Kings on Thursday, scoring a season-high 44 points with four rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He made 14-of-32 from the field and 13-of-15 from the line and had the ball in his hands throughout the night in 48 minutes. Harden is leading the NBA in scoring at 26.4 points per game while also posting averages of 6.2 boards, 6.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.3 triples. He's a stat factory and his shooting percentage is starting to come around, too. Rotoworld.com

    • Rudy Gay struggles against the Rockets
Rudy Gay made 4-of-18 from the field for 13 points during a 113-109 overtime loss to the Rockets on Thursday, adding eight rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: His shots are up since DeMarcus Cousins went down, but he's shot the ball fairly well until tonight. Gay made 50 percent or higher in four of previous six games without Cousins and should be just fine without him. His fantasy owners' biggest concern should be his Achilles, which cost him two games earlier this season. To be clear, he looks healthy right now. Rotoworld.com

Donatas Motiejunas fouled out in the fourth quarter against the Kings on Thursday, scoring 14 points with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 30 minutes.

Advice: He continues to be aggressive on the offensive end with 12 of his 13 shots coming from within eight feet tonight. Motiejunas is likely going to take a hit soon with the return of Dwight Howard possibly coming on Saturday. If you've enjoyed the ride the past two weeks, you might want to lower your expectations beyond this weekend. Rotoworld.com

DeMarcus Cousins (illness) has been around the team for the past few days and is improving.

Advice: He isn't doing any basketball activities and the Kings are just going to take it slow. Cousins could be out for the rest of the month, but nothing his certain. • Report: Teams interested in Lance Stephenson
Four to five teams have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring Lance Stephenson from the Hornets, though no deal in imminent.

Advice: The marriage between Stephenson and the Hornets has not gone as smoothly as anticipated as the Hornets currently boast a record of 6-15. However, Stephenson remains committed to helping turn things around in Charlotte, and through three games in December he's put in respectable averages of 16.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game while shooting 46.8 percent from the field. With nothing imminent, this is just something to make a note of for now. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard (hand) could play Friday
Kawhi Leonard's MRI on his right hand revealed nothing more than a bruise, and he could be cleared to play Friday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Leonard was withheld from Wednesday's game as a precaution, and his ability to play on Friday will likely be determined by pain tolerance, according to a source with knowledge of the test results. If Leonard does play, he will likely be the primary guy trying to stop Kobe from scoring the 31 points he needs to pass Michael Jordan for third on the league's all-time scoring chart. Stay tuned. • Kenneth Faried scores 13 off Nuggets bench
Kenneth Faried returned from a back injury on Wednesday and came off the bench, finishing with 13 points and eight rebounds in 22 minutes.

Advice: He may have come off the bench in order to be worked back in slowly after missing time with a back injury, or Brian Shaw may really not like the guy. Either way, given his salary and skills, it's hard to imagine him coming off the bench a week from now. Don't give up on him. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden scores 34 in loss to Dubs
James Harden played through a back injury and had 34 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four steals and three 3-pointers on 14-of-27 shooting, but the Rockets fell to the Warriors.

Advice: He outshined Stephen Curry (20-7-7) and Klay Thompson (21-4-4) tonight, but the Warriors got the last laugh with their 14th straight game and now sit at a ridiculous 19-2 on the season. The Rockets were 7-1 over their last eight games and were in this game until the end, but weren't able to win it in the end. Rotoworld.com

    • Donatas Motiejunas stays hot with Dwight out
Donatas Motiejunas hit 8-of-17 shots for 18 points, six rebounds, two assists and a block in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.

    • Boris Diaw fills it up against the Knicks
Boris Diaw scored 12 points in an easy 109-95 win over the Knicks on Wednesday with three rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: That's three games in a row with at least four assists and Diaw's 3.4 per game on the year are his highest with the Spurs. Diaw has provided low-end fantasy value in standard leagues, but he should be worthy of starting in most formats on the nights coach Gregg Popovich sits his stars. Rotoworld.com

    • Tyreke Evans crashes back to earth
Tyreke Evans, coming off his best game of the season, hit just 4-of-11 shots for eight points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block on Wednesday.

Advice: It was going to be tough for him to duplicate Tuesday's 27-point effort and he didn't even come close. Look for him to bounce back on Friday against LeBron James and company. Rotoworld.com

    • Mason Plumlee starts, goes for 8 & 8
Mason Plumlee started at center on Wednesday and had eight points, eight rebounds, two assists and three blocks on 3-of-11 shooting in 28 minutes.

Advice: He also hit just 2-of-5 free throws and his line would have looked much better had his shot been falling. With Brook Lopez out indefinitely and Kevin Garnett suffering a foot injury tonight, Plumlee looks like a player to grab if you need a short-term center. Rotoworld.com

    • Lavoy Allen posts 14 & 13 in Pacers loss
Lavoy Allen had 14 points and 13 rebounds on 7-of-11 shooting in 36 minutes off the bench on Wednesday.

Advice: The points and minutes were both season highs for Allen this season, which happened because Roy Hibbert was ineffective and in foul trouble, and lasted just 12 minutes before being benched. We seriously doubt Allen is going to threaten Hibbert's job, at least in the long term, but after tonight, most Pacer bench players have our attention. Rotoworld.com

    • Solomon Hill bottoms out on Wednesday
Solomon Hill played just 17 minutes and hit 1-of-7 shots for four points and three assists in another start for the Pacers on Wednesday.

Advice: He has scored five or fewer points in three of his last five games and the Pacers benched most of their starters tonight, including Hill. He'll get hot again at some point, but the sudden emergence of C.J. Miles (30 points, 7 3-pointers tonight), could spell disaster for Hill going forward. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 7:36 pm
    • Kenneth Faried (back) coming off the bench
Kenneth Faried (back) will come off the bench against the Heat on Wednesday.

Advice: He will back up J.J. Hickson tonight and it's unclear how many minutes he'll get Faried has been a massive letdown and should get better soon. His fantasy owners should just bench him. Faried coming back hurts Darrell Arthur. Rotoworld.com

    • Mason Plumlee will start on Wednesday night
Mason Plumlee will start next to Kevin Garnett on Wednesday.

Advice: The Nets have lost previous starters Mirza Teletovic (hip, game-time decision) and Brook Lopez (back) to injuries. Plumlee will likely see an increase from his 19 minutes on Monday and is a decent pickup in fantasy leagues if you're OK with poor foul shooting. Rotoworld.com

    • Rockets: James Harden (back) will play vs GSW
James Harden (back) will play against the Warriors on Wednesday.

Advice: This report comes from the team and Harden has said he's playing tonight, as well. The Rockets play the late game, so it couldn't hurt to check back later tonight to make sure everything is still good to go. Harden is going to be extremely busy tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden goes through shootaround
James Harden (back) went through shootaround on Wednesday and is likely a game-time decision against the Warriors.

Advice: He did add that he thinks he is good to go. Harden played through his back spasms on Saturday, so the few days off look to have helped him. He could still miss this game with the late start time, so his owners will have to check back. If he's out, it'll be a collective effort from Patrick Beverley, Jason Terry and maybe even Nick Johnson helping out at the guard spots. Again, it sounds like he will play. Rotoworld.com

    • Gerald Green drops 19 points in 22 minutes
Gerald Green dropped 19 points in 22 minutes on Tuesday, and finished with two rebounds, two assists, one steal and five 3-pointers.

Advice: Green is one of the most electrifying players in the NBA when he is hot, and Tuesday was one of those nights. He shot 5-of-7 from 3-point range and displayed his athleticism on several occasions. While he is inconsistent, he should be owned in all formats for his ridiculous upside. The impending return of Isaiah Thomas (ankle) will dampen his value a little, but not enough to scare owners away. Rotoworld.com

    • Enes Kanter has 12 & 15 in rare win vs. Spurs
Enes Kanter notched 12 points, 15 rebounds and one block in 31 minutes of action on Tuesday, as the Jazz upset the Spurs with a 100-96 victory in Utah.

Advice: Kanter was in danger of being suspended for this game after throwing his mouthpiece into the stands in frustration on Monday, but the league was (relatively) lenient and only gave him a $25,000 fine. He made 6-of-9 shots vs. San Antonio and his fantasy value remains tethered to his scoring (13.6 points), rebounds (7.0) and FG percentage (52.9 percent on 10.9 attempts). Rotoworld.com
      Tuesday, 9:20 pm
    • Larry Sanders plays just 13 minutes Tuesday
Larry Sanders started Tuesday's game but finished with just six points, two rebounds and three steals in 13 minutes.

Advice: Sanders' playing time has been an issue this season and he didn't help his case on Tuesday by racking up four fouls in limited action. His recent illness wasn't the cause of his disappearance and fantasy owners can only hope for a spirited effort when the Bucks return to action vs. the Clippers on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

Tyreke Evans poured in a team-high 27 points on 11-of-15 shooting in Tuesday's home victory, adding one 3-pointer, four rebounds, six assists, two steals and four turnovers in 34 minutes of action.

Advice: We've been harping on Evans' poor FG percentage and tonight's performance was a big step in the right direction -- he took only four shots beyond four feet of the hoop, and was a combined 9-of-11 in the paint. Evans hasn't made more than half of his shots in consecutive games this season, so hopefully he can reverse that trend in Dallas on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

    • Kanter fined $25k for mouthpiece incident
Enes Kanter has been fined $25k for throwing his mouthpiece into the stands on Monday.

    • James Harden (back) questionable Wednesday
James Harden (back spasms) is questionable to play vs. the Warriors on Wednesday.

Advice: If Harden is unable to go, Jason Terry could slide back into the starting lineup, and he'd make for a solid option in daily and standard leagues. Terry is averaging 16.5 points, 4.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 3.3 three-pointers per game with the starting unit this year. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Markieff Morris productive from distance
Markieff Morris scored 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting (including three treys) with seven rebounds, two steals and one block in Monday's overtime loss.

Advice: Morris has checked in with late early-round value on the season and should hang around that ballpark all year. Rotoworld.com

    • Green scores 15 points off the bench
Gerald Green scored 15 points off the bench on Monday, hitting 5-of-11 shots (including two threes) with two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 32 minutes.

Advice: Green won't usually get this much run when Isaiah Thomas (ankle) returns, but his season-long body of work is in the top 90-100 range and that means he should be owned in all standard formats. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 11:18 pm
    • Gay, Collison to have plenty of touches
Rudy Gay scored 29 points on 10-of-19 shooting (9-of-10 FTs) with six rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block in the Kings' 101-92 win over the Jazz on Monday.

Advice: Gay and Darren Collison (16 points, six assists, one steal) are going to carry as much load as they can handle with DeMarcus Cousins out for a while. Their efficiency numbers could take a hit or even a tumble since they were already carrying close to a max-load with Cousins on the court. Rotoworld.com

Enes Kanter scored 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds and two blocks over 32 minutes in Monday's loss to the Kings, and he also got away with chucking his mouthpiece into the stands without being ejected.

Advice: A suspension seems possible if not likely and owners should be keeping an eye out for that. Now that Alec Burks is back, any designs on extra touches are null and void and the last thing Kanter wants to do is open the door for young and promising Rudy Gobert. Rotoworld.com

    • Kings: DeMarcus Cousins is out indefinitely
DeMarcus Cousins (illness) is out indefinitely, according to coach Mike Malone.

Advice: "We have no idea when he’ll be back," coach Mike Malone said. "He’s still not feeling well and I can just hear the frustration and disappointment in his voice." His viral infection sounds like it could keep him out until January and the Kings will allow it to run its course. All Cousins' owners can do is hope he makes it back soon. Rotoworld.com

    • Amir Johnson dealing with some ankle issues
Amir Johnson needed to get his ankle re-taped against the Nuggets on Monday with seven points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and three turnovers.

Advice: He basically dealt with ankle pain for the entire second half of the season last year, so this is troubling news. Johnson looked hobbled in his return in the second half, so don't be surprised if he misses a game to get him back to 100 percent. He tried to play through it last year and it backfired. They play the second-place Cavs on Tuesday, so check back for an update after morning shootaround. Rotoworld.com

    • Plumlee can't get it done in 19 minutes
Mason Plumlee played just 19 minutes with nine points, three rebounds and no steals or blocks in the Nets' 110-88 blowout loss to the Cavs on Monday.

Advice: Plumlee has looked nothing like this summer's version or last year's version, and it looks like we jumped the gun on him. Mirza Teletovic left tonight's game with a hip injury and did not return, so there is opportunity here but we'd be being blind if we didn't note that Plumlee hasn't given anybody a reason to believe this year. • Lavoy Allen picks up minutes as backup C
Lavoy Allen moved into the backup center role on Monday with eight points, three rebounds and one block in 19 minutes.

Advice: Ian Mahinmi (foot) is out for up to eight weeks, so Allen will take over behind Roy Hibbert. If Hibbert goes down, Allen might be a pickup. For now, he can be left on the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins possibly out until January?
DeMarcus Cousins (illness) could possibly be out until January.

Advice: He has viral meningitis and will not return in the next 10 days at the minimum. Cousins is believed to be very ill, but he did go through a practice last week because he wasn't diagnosed at that time. Since then, he's been hospitalized and doesn't have a timetable to return. Jason Thompson has stepped up while Reggie Evans, Ryan Hollins and Derrick Williams are also helping out. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden spotted wearing heating pad
James Harden (back) was spotted wearing a heating pad during Saturday's game.

Advice: Harden was very clearly not 100 percent healthy, and the fact he had to wear a heating pad on the bench is an indication that it's not just a minor tweak. "I had a real tight back," Harden said. "It was hard for me to even move. It was hard for me to change directions, and it was hard for me to really move and push off. It was a tough night." The Rockets are off until Wednesday, but Harden's owners will want to monitor his status to be certain he's not in jeopardy of missing any time. Rotoworld.com

    • Tyreke Evans' struggles in paint continue
Tyreke Evans logged 27 minutes vs. the Lakers on Sunday, finishing the Pelicans' road win with 11 points, five rebounds, six assists and three turnovers.

Advice: Evans made 5-of-6 free throws but was just 3-of-9 from the field, including a 1-of-5 mark from within five feet of the basket. He's shooting just 50 percent in the restricted area this season, the lowest mark of his career, and his poor FG percentage (40.1 percent) and FT percentage (60.3 percent) are a heavy anchor for his 8-cat/9-cat fantasy value.
