  • Danny Green posts massive stat line vs. LAC
Danny Green had a very impressive game during a tough 111-109 loss to the Clippers in Game 7 on Saturday, scoring 16 points with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, five blocks and three 3-pointers.

Advice: While he wasn't great off the ball on defense, his on-ball D was tremendous. Green was one of just six players in NBA history to average at least two blocks, one steal and one block (qualifiers for minutes) in a season. He was a fantasy monster and will be again next season. You won't be able to get him in the last few rounds this time, though. Tony Parker also had a good game tonight with 20 points, five boards, five assists and one steal. Rotoworld.com

  • Kawhi Leonard drops 13 points in sub-par game
Kawhi Leonard scored 13 points on 5-of-13 from the field with 10 rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: It wasn't his best game and he didn't do a great job defending in this series. Leonard attempted 16 shots per game in the postseason in 36 minutes per outing, which bodes well for his prospects next season. Coach Gregg Popovich kept his word last year that he'd use Kawhi more in offensive sets this season, so expect him to be a huge part of the offense next season. He's obviously a first-round target in fantasy drafts and there's really nothing wrong with grabbing him in the top five at this point. Rotoworld.com

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo suspended one game
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been suspended for the first game of next season for "running over" Mike Dunleavy.

Advice: It was an expected move and at least Giannis didn't get more than one game. Antetokounmpo joins Kelly Olynyk to get a suspension to start next season. He's expected to play in summer league where he'll likely be working on his perimeter game. Antetokounmpo is going to be pricey in drafts next season, but it might be worth it. Rotoworld.com

  • Joe Johnson has 'no idea' about Nets' future
Joe Johnson admitted that he has "no idea" what the Nets' roster will look like next season.

Advice: "I don't see us coming back as the same team," said Johnson, whose 14.4 points this season were his lowest since 2002-03. "To not even be a .500 ballclub in the East, it's disheartening ... I think everyone in that locker room is unsure of the future here." Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young are the most pressing issues for Brooklyn, as Lopez is an unrestricted free agent and Young has a player option for 2015-16. Rotoworld.com

  • Alan Anderson will opt out, become free agent
Alan Anderson expects to opt out of his player option in favor of free agency this summer.

Advice: The 32-year-old swingman shot 34.8 percent from downtown this season and became a reliable rotation player for Lionel Hollins, though he was little more than a 3-point specialist in fantasy leagues. It's not surprising to see him turn down a $1.3 million salary to pursue the security of a longer-team deal. Rotoworld.com

  • Mike Dunleavy avoids suspension for Game 1
The NBA gave Mike Dunleavy a Flagrant 1 foul for his hit on Michael Carter-Williams during Game 6, but he will not be suspended.

Advice: Dunleavy popped Michael Carter-Williams and later hit Giannis Antetokounmpo above the neck, but the league obviously didn't view either play as malicious. He finished Round 1 on a high note with 20 points, four rebounds and five assists, and will look to keep it going vs. the Cavaliers on Monday. Rotoworld.com

  • Billy Donovan addresses Durant's free agency
Thunder coach Billy Donovan's priority is to "develop a better relationship" with Kevin Durant.

Advice: Donovan was hired on Thursday and Durant won't hit free agency until July 2016, but questions about Durant's future already loom large. "With his rehab I think we will have a chance to sit down and really spend a lot of time together," Donovan said. "I feel very, very confident in the organization and I think the organization and Kevin ... are a great match." Durant has been nothing but supportive of Donovan's hiring, and he's expected to be fully recovered from his foot surgery in 3-5 months. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young may opt for free agency
Thaddeus Young could enter the free-agent market by exercising his early-termination option for 2015-16.

Advice: Young would make $10.2 million if he doesn't terminate his deal, and may prefer to hold out one more season to cash in on the expected salary-surge tied to the league's new TV revenues in 2016-17. No matter what he decides, ESPN's Mike Mazzeo reports that Brooklyn aims to retain Young as their starting power forward. He ended his tumultuous season on a poor note, averaging 9.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in 24 minutes per game during losses in Games 5 and 6. Rotoworld.com

  • Korver hits six 3-pointers in Hawks G6 win
Kyle Korver hit 6-of-10 shots (all threes) for 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block in Friday's Game 6 win over the Nets.

Advice: When Korver is humming the Hawks can beat anybody so seeing him get back on track has been good news for Atlanta. The top-end talent he'll face against Washington next round includes Bradley Beal, Paul Pierce and Otto Porter Jr, so the guys with the athleticism to chase Korver around are young and the guy who knows all Korver's tricks is probably going to be calling for lots of switches. We'll see if they can keep up. Rotoworld.com

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo to go to summer league?
Giannis Antetokounmpo said he's willing to play in summer league.

Advice: Last summer, Antetokounmpo playing point guard in Las Vegas was one of the biggest NBA stories of the month. That didn't really come to fruition during the regular season, though. Advice: He was already ruled out for the playoffs and now he could miss some time during his offseason program. • Chandler Parsons has arthroscopic surgery
Chandler Parsons (knee) had arthroscopic knee surgery on Friday morning.

Advice: This is good news that he didn't have microfracture surgery. The Mavs did not give a timetable for his recovery, but generally knee scopes require 4-6 weeks off. That means he should be ready to roll in a couple months. Parsons should have more fantasy value with Rajon Rondo out of town, so keep an eye on him in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts. • Report: Arron Afflalo planning to opt out
Arron Afflalo is planning to opt out of the last year of his deal this summer, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Advice: This is probably good news for the Blazers. Afflalo was a colossal letdown since the Blazers picked him up at the trade deadline. Plus, C.J. McCollum having a post-break explosion as a scorer suggests he's earned a role with 26-30 minutes with a usage rate over 20 next season. There's still two months before free agency starts, so expect several stories to change. Rotoworld.com

  • Rumor: GSW will go after Durant as an UFA
According to Klay Thompson's father, Mychal Thompson, the Warriors are expected to "go hard after Kevin Durant" when he becomes an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of the 2015-16 season.

Advice: This report should be viewed with some substantial skepticism given what the Warriors would need to do to make this a reality. Yes, David Lee's massive contract will come off the books, and the salary cap will skyrocket when Durant becomes a free agent, but that still would only give the Warriors roughly $11 million in cap room to spend on a $25 million player. They would need to trade away some contracts to make the necessary room, and while it's not impossible, at this juncture it would seem highly improbable that Durant lands in Golden State as a free agent. • Ilyasova undecided if he'll play for Turkey
Ersan Ilyasova said that he was undecided if he will play for the Turkish national team this summer.

Advice: For a guy that's as injury prone as Ilyasova, Milwaukee management is probably hoping he elects to forgo any strenuous activities this offseason. For what it's worth, Ersan did not participate in the FIBA World Cup last summer, but that still didn't keep him healthy during the 2014-15 season. Ilyasova did have a bit of a bounce-back performance after the break this year, compiling averages of 14.5 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.9 three-pointers per game on 47.3 percent shooting from the field. However, he didn't become a steady rotation player until Jabari Parker went down for the year, and he still missed 24 games. He's not a great guy to draft next season, especially with Jabari Parker set to reclaim his role as a starter. Rotoworld.com

  • Middleton says he'd like to remain with Bucks
Khris Middleton stated during his exit interview that he hopes to return with the Bucks next season.

Advice: "I hope to be back. I definitely feel everybody wants me to be back here," said Middleton regarding his impending free agency. Middleton will be a restricted free agent this offseason, and it'll be interesting to see how high the Bucks will go in matching offers after he had a career-year in Milwaukee. Khris really got going during the second-half of the season, putting in averages of 16.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 three-pointers and 1.4 steals per game. Middleton's value will be tied to where he lands, but if he remains with the Bucks, it's unlikely he'll be able to hoist up 14.1 shots per game when Jabari Parker comes back into the fold. • Antetokounmpo will apologize to Dunleavy
Giannis Antetokounmpo called his flagrant 2 foul against Mike Dunleavy during Game 6 "a bad play," and said he intends to apologize to Dunleavy.

Advice: "It was a bad play by me. It is not going to happen again," said Giannis. The Greek Freak acknowledged that he expects to receive a suspension from the league for his actions during Game 6, and that suspension would be served during the start of the 2015-16 season. Antetokounmpo took a big step during his sophomore season, putting in averages of 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.0 block per game on 49.1 percent shooting from the field. If he could develop a 3-point shot this offseason, he could emerge as a very valuable asset in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kawhi Leonard has a really bad night in loss
Kawhi Leonard had one of his worst games in a long time during a loss to the Clippers on Thursday, making 3-of-15 from the field for 12 points with seven rebounds, two assists and four turnovers.

Advice: He's coming off a sub-par game from Tuesday night and most of his shots were not even really close. Mike Dunleavy was on fire during the first half against the Bucks on Thursday, making 5-of-7 from the field for 20 points with four rebounds, five assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

Advice: He got into it with Michael Carter-Williams and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was ejected for a really bad foul today. Dunleavy does have an outside chance to be suspended for Game 1 against the Cavs. If that happens, Tony Snell and Nikola Mirotic would get more minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Ersan Ilyasova scores seven points
Ersan Ilyasova scored seven points during a blowout 120-66 loss to the Bulls on Thursday, adding three rebounds and one foul in 17 minutes.

Advice: The Bucks starting unit scored a combined 29 points with Zaza Pachulia leading that group with eight points. As for Ilyasova, he had a very solid bounce-back season following a catastrophic 2013-14 year. Still, he is likely to be bumped from the starting lineup next season with Jabari Parker likely ready for opening night. As it stands right now, Ghostface Ilya won't be worth drafting in fantasy leagues next season. Rotoworld.com

  • Khris Middelton has a bad finale
Khris Middleton made 2-of-7 from the field for six points against the Bulls on Thursday with three rebounds, one assist and three turnovers in 26 minutes.

Advice: While this was a disaster, he could have gone 0-of-50 and it wouldn't affect his offseason value. Middleton will get an offer sheet from the Bucks and become a restricted free agent. Even with the Bucks having two great forwards, the shift to shooting guard was a big success for the former Piston. Expect the Bucks to keep him, but he'll have a very tough time matching his fantasy production because Jabari Parker will take shots away from him. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Durant seems to be pleased with OKC's hiring, and he said that he's reached out to Mike Miller and Chandler Parsons to pick their brains about what it's like to play for Donovan, and he's heard nothing but positives. Durant is one of those players that's so talented it really doesn't matter what "system" he's put in to perform at a top-3 level, but coming off an injury plagued season, he'll make for a bit of a risky selection in next year's drafts. Chandler Parsons said he's ready to take on a recruiting role to help attract free agents to Dallas.

Advice: With news that Billy Donovan is nearing a multi-year deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant has done his own research on the coach and is optimistic about the hiring. While Donovan doesn't have any NBA experience, he is one of the premier coaches in college hoops and will inherit a very talented roster. • Chandler Parsons (knee) set for a larger role?
Chandler Parsons (knee) said that he expects to have a larger role next season.

Advice: Parsons had a decent year with the Mavericks, posting averages of 15.7 points, 4.9 boards, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steal and 2.0 3-pointers per game. However, his knee is still going to require surgery in the offseason, and if he missed the start of training camp or more it could really slow him down to start the season. Doctors won't know exactly what's wrong with his knee until he has the procedure, so we would expect a firm timetable after the surgery. As always, we will continue to track his progress closely. • Chandler Parsons hoping to avoid surgery
Chandler Parsons (knee) has delayed surgery until the Mavs' playoff run is over.

Advice: Parsons said he’s delaying surgery on his right knee and added that he and doctors won’t know exactly what’s wrong with the knee until he has the procedure. The 26-year-old has been getting multiple medical opinions on his injured knee and one of the options is microfracture surgery. Middleton wasn't shooting the ball well before this game, making 36.2 percent from the field for 17.0 points in his previous four. Advice: Five of Green's 3-pointers were of the 'uncontested' variety, meaning no Clippers' defender was within 3.5 feet of him, yet he still came up empty in the tough home loss. He's now averaging 6.5 points on 29.0 percent shooting in the series. Rotoworld.com

Advice: He apologized for his poor play in Game 2 and his actions spoke much louder than those words. Young was very aggressive with the ball, which is the opposite of what happened Wednesday when he only had one shot attempt in the restricted area. • Arron Afflalo says he will play in Game 3 Sat
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) is officially listed as probable, but he says he will play in Game 3 on Saturday.

Advice: "It's no time to get to 100 percent," Afflalo said. "You just go out there and give it your best." Afflalo isn't expected to have a minutes restriction moving forward and also said that he won't have any problems shooting from distance. It isn't clear what type of role he will have right out of the gate, but it's safe to say that Allen Crabbe and C.J. McCollum should expect to lose some playing time. However, Afflalo wasn't playing well before the injury which makes it tough to trust him in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young apologizes for his performance
Thaddeus Young apologized to his teammates for his performance in Game 2 v. the Hawks in which he scored just two points in 24 minutes.

Advice: "First thing I said when I came into the locker room the other night was, 'Fellas, I'm sorry. I didn't give you guys anything tonight. I've got to be better,' " Young said on Friday. "I take pride in everything I do out there on the court and I take losses hard." It's admirable that Young is placing most of the blame on himself, but the Nets have been simply overpowered so far and they will look to clinch their first win in Game 3 on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

  • Kawhi Leonard is going nowhere in free agency
Kawhi Leonard isn't expected to pursue offer sheets when he becomes a restricted free agent this summer, as the Spurs are planning on offering him a max contract.

Advice: Leonard is quickly becoming one of the top players in the NBA due to his contributions on both sides of the court, so it's not surprising in the slightest that he is expected to get a max deal. The Spurs took a 2-1 series lead over the Clippers on Friday night thanks to a career-high 32 points from Leonard, and he also added four boards, three steals, two blocks and three 3-pointers to his name. Spiderman is going to be a fantasy stud for many years to come, and he is going to be off the board early in fantasy drafts next season. Rotoworld.com

  • Spiderman scores career-high 32 in SA win
Kawhi Leonard scored a career-high 32 points on 13-of-18 shooting (including three treys) with four rebounds, three steals and two blocks in the Spurs 100-73 Game 3 win over the Clippers on Friday.

Advice: We're going to float Spiderman out there as a nickname and see if it sticks. He was the best player on the floor tonight and it wasn't close, as we see the blossoming of a top-10 NBA player before our eyes. Tim Duncan added four points, seven boards, four assists, one steal and three blocks in the blowout win. Rotoworld.com

  • Green gets back on track against Clippers
Danny Green scored 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting with six rebounds, two assists, three steals and three triples in Friday's Game 3 win over the Clippers.

Advice: Green has been quiet but tonight's output was a good sign that he's ready to heat up. Check his DFS prices because he might be undervalued. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo probable to play on Saturday
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) is probable to play against the Grizzlies in Game 3 on Saturday.

Advice: He was able to do some shooting before Wednesday, but his shoulder looked to be an issue on long-range shots. Afflalo was pushing a weighed sled on Friday, which suggests he's a lot closer to being healthy. C.J. McCollum played 37 minutes in Game 1 and just 29 minutes in Game 2, so maybe he's lost some playing time due to making just 19.0 percent from the field in the playoffs. Expect C.J. and Allen Crabbe to lose more minutes. Afflalo is still not someone fantasy owners can trust due to his lackluster numbers since joining the Blazers. Rotoworld.com

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 25 points
Giannis Antetokounmpo logged 51 minutes against the Bulls during a double-overtime 113-106 loss on Thursday, scoring 25 points with 12 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three turnovers.

Advice: He was red hot in the beginning of the game and entered halftime with 17 points. Antetokounmpo scored just six points in Game 2 and he was extremely aggressive in this loss, but he was tightly defended for most of his shots in the second half and in OT. Looking ahead, the big question for the Greek Freak this summer will be if he can develop a jumper. Last year, we were all hoping he'd perform better at the rim to improve his efficiency and he didn't let us down, so he certainly is capable of extending his range. He's 20 years old. Rotoworld.com

  • Khris Middleton scores 18 points in loss
Khris Middleton scored 18 points on 6-of-17 from the field against the Bulls on Thursday, adding three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in 49 minutes.

Advice: He hit a clutch shot late in regulation to get this to overtime. Middleton continues to be the floor spacer in the Bucks offense, which is absolutely essential with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Michael Carter-Williams yet to develop some range to their games. Even with Jabari Parker coming back next season, expect the Bucks to match all reasonable offers this summer for the restricted free agent. Rotoworld.com

  • Parsons says no structural damage to knee
Chandler Parsons said that there is no tear or structural damage to his right knee, but it's not getting any better, and he will require surgery.

Advice: Parsons added that if the Mavs' first-round matchup hadn't been against the Rockets, he probably wouldn't have played at all. He's going to meet with a doctor in Chicago to determine exactly what surgery he will need to have, after which a surgery date and timetable for recovery will be set. With Parsons sidelined, Richard Jefferson and Al-Farouq Aminu will see extended minutes in Dallas' rotations. Rotoworld.com

  • Chandler Parsons visiting doctor in Chicago
Chandler Parsons (knee) will visit with a doctor in Chicago before determining specifics about his upcoming surgery.

Advice: Parsons will miss the rest of the playoffs and will undergo surgery on his right knee once he finishes consulting with doctors. We'll update Parson's timetable once we know more, but the procedure isn't expected to be major so he'll likely be ready in time for training camp. Richard Jefferson will continue to start at small forward with Parsons out, while Al-Farouq Aminu will also pick up some extra minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Kawhi Leonard named Defensive Player of Year
Kawhi Leonard has been named the 2014-15 Defensive Player of the Year.

Advice: Leonard finished ahead of Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan, Anthony Davis, and Rudy Gobert, respectively, on his way to winning his first DPOY Award. After a slow start to the 2014-15 season, Leonard was still able to finish as a top-25 player in standard fantasy leagues and should be a popular early-round pick next season. Now the only thing to do is keep an eye on Draymond Green's Twitter feed. Rotoworld.com

  • Kawhi Leonard scores 23 points vs. Clippers
Kawhi Leonard scored 23 points against the Clippers on Wednesday with nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: This time last year, we were just starting to see the Kawhi ISO plays and he's really grown as a scorer. Leonard also made it very tough on the wings for the Clippers tonight and he also was guarding Chris Paul during this game. It's hard to overrate Kawhi and he's arguably a top-five player in the NBA for his contributions on both sides of the ball. Rotoworld.com
