  • Bruno Caboclo impressive in NBA debut
Bruno Caboclo had eight points, two 3-pointers, one rebound and one block in 12 minutes during his NBA debut on Friday.

Advice: The Raptors' first-round draft pick entered in the third quarter to chants of "Bruno" from the home crowd, and fans quickly got their first glimpse of the 19-year-old Brazilian's talent. He may not have played if Toronto didn't have a commanding lead, however, and isn't worth picking up outside of dynasty leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Cavs coach worried about 'every single thing'
After the Cavaliers fell to 5-6 with a loss on Friday, coach David Blatt said he's concerned about "every single thing" his team is doing.

Advice: "This is the same team a week ago was scoring 120 points a game," Blatt said. "We’re not a different group of people and we're not a different team. We're just playing in the dark right now." When LeBron James was asked whether any of the Cavs' lineups had found a rhythm this year he quickly replied "No," and it doesn't help that Blatt is experimenting with different rotations on a nightly basis. The Cavs will try to right the ship vs. the visiting Raptors on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Martin may need right wrist surgery
Kevin Martin (broken right wrist) will be examined in the next few days to determine if his injury requires surgery.

Advice: Regardless of whether or not he needs surgery Martin's absence "likely will be at least six weeks," according to beat writer Jerry Zgoda. In the meantime, Minnesota will rely more on Mo Williams, Chase Budinger, Corey Brewer, Shabazz Muhammad, Andrew Wiggins and Robbie Hummel. Head coach Flip Saunders is also interested in picking up free agents but he conceded, "Guys who aren’t playing in our league, there’s probably a reason." Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum returns in an easy win
Nicolas Batum returned to the lineup on Friday night against the Bulls with nine points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 21 minutes.

Advice: The Blazers had his game in the bag in the third quarter, so there was no need to play Batum more than 20 minutes. He should get better and his fantasy owners shouldn't worry much about his knee contusion being a lingering issue. Rotoworld.com

  • Jimmy Butler has an overdue dud vs. POR
Jimmy Butler scored nine points with four rebounds, two assists and one steal on 3-of-13 from the field against the Blazers on Friday.

Advice: He's been one of the best players in the NBA this season and obviously gets a pass here. Butler's shot selection wasn't as great tonight, but there is no need to worry thanks to taking much smarter shots throughout the season. He'll likely get it going again on Monday against the Jazz. • Nikola Mirotic erupts w/ 24 points, 11 boards
Nikola Mirotic stepped up with Taj Gibson (ankle) getting hurt against the Blazers on Friday, scoring a career-high 24 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Pau Gasol (calf) did not play tonight and X-rays were negative on Gibson's ankle, so he is not a lock for minutes. That said, Mirotic is capable of blocking shots, hitting treys and turning in good percentages, so it's not a bad idea to add him speculatively in some leagues. To be clear, we wouldn't cut a player you're going to miss. Rotoworld.com

  • Green posts fat line in blowout win over UTA
Draymond Green scored 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting (including a three) with nine rebounds, five assists and three steals in the Warriors' 101-88 blowout win over the Jazz.

Advice: The Jazz carried a 15-point edge in fourth quarter garbage time to get the game this close, and Green continued to plow away with his top 35-40 value. Yes, David Lee is coming back at some point and he's going to get minutes, but the Warriors don't look like they're going to make the same mistakes they've made in the past selling Green short. • Barnes plays 40 minutes in blowout win
Harrison Barnes saw 40 minutes in Friday's easy win over the Jazz, finishing with 14 points, 11 boards, one steal and two blocks.

Advice: Barnes did not hit a three but he did make all six of his free throws, and he has suddenly surged into top 90-110 value with averages of 29.6 minutes, 12.0 points, 1.2 threes, 5.4 boards and marks of 51.8 and 81.6 percent from the field and foul line, respectively. Unfortunately he is shooting way over his head right now and the impeding return to reality is going to knock him out of 12-team value, and that's before David Lee's eventual return factors in. • Iguodala enjoys easy win over the Jazz
Andre Iguodala scored 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Advice: The Warriors took control of the game early and never looked back. With David Lee eventually returning to complicate and already bad situation for Iguodala, owners should watch this action from the wire in most formats. Rotoworld.com

  • Danilo Gallinari has impressive game
Danilo Gallinari made 5-of-7 from the field for 17 points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Pelicans on Friday.

Advice: He entered tonight making just 26.2 percent from the field and he really needed a big game like this one. Gallinari is still a long way from playing close to his career 30.8 minutes per game, which might not even happen. Unless you want to be really aggressive, you can probably keep Gallo on the wire in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Parsons breaks out of slump against Lakers
Chandler Parsons scored 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting with two threes, two boards and three assists over 29 minutes in Friday's massive win over the Lakers.

Advice: Parsons had a stretch including 5-of-6 games in which he didn't exceed 30 minutes, that also happened to correspond with him getting the flu. He played 37 minutes on Wednesday and that was probably a warning shot to owners that he was ready to get things moving. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James scores 22 points; Cavs now 5-6
LeBron James scored 22 points in a loss to the 91-78 loss to the Wizards on Friday to go with four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: The Cavs are 5-6 and LeBron is below .500 after playing in at least 10 games since the 2007-08 season. The Cavs also had a 76ers-like 82.0 offensive efficiency rating tonight. While everyone is going to overreact, LeBron has been a top-10 player in fantasy leagues despite not even being close to as great as he was last season. Rotoworld.com

  • Roberson steals two, blocks four vs. Nets
Andre Roberson moved back into the starting lineup and played 22 minutes on Friday, scoring four points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks.

Advice: Roberson has sneaky fantasy value and in his six games he has returned late-round value when he has been on the floor. Scott Brooks loves him and it wouldn't be surprising to see him start for the rest of the season, but there still isn't a lot of stable ground here. If you want to take a flier in a deep league we can get behind that, but otherwise it pays to wait and see if he can keep it up. Rotoworld.com

  • Morrow hits three treys in 25 minutes
Anthony Morrow hit three triples and 4-of-11 shots overall on Friday, finishing with 11 points, two boards and one steal in 25 minutes off the bench.

Advice: Morrow missed his window and it sounds like the cavalry is coming soon, but one had to know he'd get things turned around a little bit after a short cold stretch entering tonight. Feel free to move on in 12-14 team formats, but don't be surprised if he carves out value as a 3-point shooter sometime down the road. Rotoworld.com

  • Johnson held in check by the Thunder
Joe Johnson scored just eight points on 2-of-5 shooting with one rebound, three assists, one block and one trey in Friday's road win over the Thunder.

Advice: Johnson played 52 minutes on Wednesday and drew some versatile Thunder defenders, so it's not too surprising that he ran out of gas. He had been playing a little bit over his head in fantasy leagues prior to tonight, and he should remain in all lineups going forward. Rotoworld.com

  • Danny Green fills the stat sheet vs. Wolves
Danny Green filled the stat sheet against the Wolves on Friday with 18 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal, four blocks and four 3-pointers during a 121-92 win.

Advice: He made 6-of-9 from the field and both free throws for one of the biggest stat lines of the night. Fantasy owners tend to focus on points too much, but Green has put up top-60 value on the season. He's worth owning in all standard formats. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum will start against Bulls
Nicolas Batum (knee) will start against the Bulls on Friday.

Advice: He's been out for almost two weeks due to his knee contusion and is expected to have his minutes limited tonight. Batum is a big part of the offense and he's still worth starting even with the restriction on his minutes. Rotoworld.com
    Yesterday, 5:51 pm
  • Andre Roberson will start Friday vs. the Nets
Andre Roberson will start on Friday, sending Jeremy Lamb to the bench.

Advice: Roberson is a defensive specialist for the Thunder, so he doesn't bring too much to the box score. He's averaging 6.0 points and 6.0 rebounds with the starting unit, and his minutes will be capped at 20 tonight, so he doesn't really belong on an active roster outside of extremely deep leagues. • Kevin Martin (broken wrist) out indefinitely
Kevin Martin fractured his right wrist during Wednesday's game vs. the Knicks, and will be out indefinitely.

Advice: The Wolves are saying that Martin sustained the injury at the 6:48 mark of the first quarter, which is very impressive as he went on to score 37 points. While Martin is sidelined, Corey Brewer will likely slide into the starting lineup, with Chase Budinger, Mo Williams, and Shabazz Muhammad seeing extended minutes. Andrew Wiggins is also going to see a boost to his value, as he'll be more heavily relied upon sans Martin's offense. Rotoworld.com

  • Jimmy Butler scores 23 points
Jimmy Butler scored 23 points against the Kings on Thursday with eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and three turnovers.

Advice: He operated out of the post quite a bit, but he had nine of his 11 makes come off an assist tonight. Butler has been the go-to option for the Bulls these days, but his usage takes a massive hit when Derrick Rose (hamstring) is on the floor. He's putting up first-round value right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum (knee) spotted without brace
Nicolas Batum (knee) was spotted doing shooting drills after Thursday's practice, and was not wearing a brace on his injured right knee.

Advice: Batum is targeting a return for Friday's game vs. the Bulls, and all signs are pointing towards him giving it a go. Stay tuned for an official update on his status as we draw closer to Friday's tip. When Batum returns, Allen Crabbe will head back to the bench. Rotoworld.com

  • Andre Roberson plays seven minutes in return
Andre Roberson returned from a foot injury on Wednesday and played seven minutes, finishing with three points, two rebounds, one assist and a 3-pointer.

Advice: He's been out for a few weeks with the injury, but could be slotted into the starting SG job once he's fully healthy. That's where he was before the injury, but he isn't much of a fantasy prospect unless you're in a really deep league. Rotoworld.com
    Thursday, 12:02 am
  • Anthony Morrow not doing much with minutes
Anthony Morrow played 28 minutes and hit 4-of-9 shots for 10 points, without making a 3-pointer.

Advice: If he's not going to hit threes, he has no fantasy value. Despite getting at least 28 minutes in all but one of his games this season, Morrow hasn't really done anything outside of a 28-point game on Nov. 12. Maybe he'll get it turned around at some point, but the odds aren't in his favor with the return of Andre Roberson from a foot injury tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Martin (illness) scores 37 points vs NY
Kevin Martin played his best game of the season despite needing an IV before a 115-99 win over the Knicks on Wednesday, making 14-of-20 from the field for 37 points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals and seven 3-pointers.

Advice: Maybe the Knicks didn't want to guard him because they were scared of getting sick. Martin just dropped a 34-point game in his last outing on Saturday and he's one of the hottest shooting guards in the NBA all of the sudden. He's a must-start player right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Joe Johnson plays 52 minutes on Wed.
Joe Johnson played 52 minutes on a triple-overtime loss to the Bucks on Wednesday with 18 points, five rebounds, eight assists and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He had a couple chances to win the game late, but it looked like all the minutes may have caused his shot to fall short. Johnson's shooting numbers are starting to come down, but he's still posting mid-round value. Keep him in your lineup. Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 9:33 pm
  • Chandler Parsons struggles in win over Wiz
Chandler Parsons hit just 4-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for 11 points and three rebounds in Wednesday's win over the Wizards.

Advice: Parsons scored 17 on Monday, but has scored 14 or fewer point in three of his last four games. He's averaging just 14.3 points on the season after posting a career-high 16.6 last season. Playing alongside Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis is making it tough for Parsons to fill it up nightly, but he's still an effective fantasy player. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron, Irving not enough vs. Spurs
LeBron James hit 6-of-17 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points, six rebounds, nine assists, a steal, a block and five turnovers in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.

Advice: Kyrie Irving was better on 7-of-15 shooting and three 3-pointers for 20 points, just two assists, and three steals. LeBron's ball handling is probably going to hurt Irving's assist numbers over the course of the season, along with Kevin Love's rebounding and scoring. Had LeBron limited his TOs and made a few more shots tonight, the Cavs would have beaten the Spurs, but they played solid defense against him. LeBron wasn't at his best tonight, but he's having a big season and should be ready to dominate against the Wizards on Friday. Rotoworld.com

  • Andre Roberson is available to play vs. DEN
Andre Roberson (foot) is available to play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Advice: It's unclear if he is going to start or if his minutes are limited. Roberson was close to playing on Tuesday, but he probably won't be fully unleashed tonight. If you want to pick him up in a deep league, it makes some sense. Although, he will lose a lot of value upon the return of Kevin Durant (foot). Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 5:19 pm
  • Andre Roberson could play on Wednesday
Andre Roberson (foot) has not been ruled out for Wednesday.

Advice: He is going through pre-game warmups, but it's unknown if he will actually play. The Thunder could really use him and he would be on the fantasy radar. Lance Thomas would lose minutes. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Martin (flu) expected to play vs. NYK
Kevin Martin (flu) is expected to start Wednesday's game despite his illness.

  • Kevin Martin questionable Wed. w/ illness
Kevin Martin is questionable for Wednesday's game due to an illness.

Advice: He received an IV earlier in the day and the flu is ravaging teams around the league at the moment, so owners should prepare for a potential DNP. Corey Brewer is also iffy to play with the illness, potentially opening up more minutes for Zach LaVine, Mo Williams, Chase Budinger, Shabazz Muhammad and Robbie Hummel. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum (knee) goes through practice
Nicolas Batum (knee) went through practice on Wednesday.

Advice: He is hopeful to play on Friday and going through practice today bodes well for his chances. The Blazers only had two different starting lineups last season, but they've had a lot of injuries in the young season with C.J. McCollum (hand) as the most recent. Batum owners can plug him into their lineups. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum (knee) had two PRP injections
Nicolas Batum (knee) has received two Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections in order to speed up the healing process.

Advice: This isn't bad news by any means, as this is a nonsurgical procedure that has shown success in the past. Batum is targeting a return to the lineup on Friday and owners should deploy him by all means if that is the case. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, but it is looking positive. • Anthony Morrow quiet in 34 minutes Tuesday
Anthony Morrow logged 34 minutes off the Thunder bench on Tuesday, but he scored only eight points with five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Advice: Morrow hit a 3-pointer and he doesn't usually contribute many boards or defensive stats, which take the sting out of his low-scoring game. He blew up for 28 points and four triples last Wednesday but is just 7-of-31 from the field since then (22.6 percent), so fantasy owners should deploy him with caution. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 8:38 pm
  • Andre Roberson (foot) won't return on Tuesday
Andre Roberson (foot) will not return on Tuesday and he remains day-to-day.

Advice: There's a chance that Roberson will play Wednesday, but OKC may hold him out until Friday or Saturday as a precaution. He's likely to assume the starting SG job once healthy, but he doesn't have enough fantasy upside to be worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 5:09 pm
  • LeBron James wants minutes to come down
LeBron James stated during a recent interview that his minutes have to "come down."

Advice: "For me, I don't want to [play heavy minutes] all year," James said. "Obviously right now it's difficult because we're trying to find a groove and we're trying to find a rhythm and we're trying to find something that you can't really, you don't want to shortcut it but at the same time you gotta be smart about it." James is currently averaging the third-most minutes per game in the NBA at 39.1 per game, but a slight reduction in minutes wouldn't hinder James' value. When LBJ is on the court, he will put up big stat lines, so owners have nothing to worry about with this report. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 3:29 pm
  • Andre Roberson getting closer to return
Andre Roberson (foot) is close to returning this week, according to Thunder head coach Scott Brooks, and could play as early as Tuesday against the Jazz.

Advice: Brooks mentioned Tuesday as a possibility, but we're more likely looking at Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday if we're staying within Brooks' timetable of this week. Roberson doesn't deserve much fantasy attention as a defensive specialist, but his return will cut into Jeremy Lamb and Anthony Morrow's already limited fantasy value. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James working on relationship w/Blatt
LeBron James is still working on building a relationship with Cavaliers head coach David Blatt.

Advice: James and Blatt had somewhat contrary statements about the Cavs' energy level after Monday's loss to the Nuggets, but we're still only nine games into the regular season so it's not time to send the two to counseling just yet. "Every day we continue to learn each other, as a group, as individuals," James said before the Cavs' loss. "He's an intense guy, very intense guy. Wants to win, wants to do it the right way. He doesn't want to mess around too much with the process, and you can respect that." Regardless of his relationship with his head coach, James' fantasy owners have to be happy with his top-5 play over the last two weeks. Rotoworld.com

  • Butler headlines night of big lines for Bulls
Jimmy Butler scored 22 points on 6-of-17 shooting with six rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one three and a 9-of-10 mark from the foul line in Monday's win.

Advice: Butler is returning top-10 fantasy value and it's unclear where his shooting percentages are ultimately going to fall because he has clearly improved. Making an ungodly 80.6 percent from the line on 8.0 attempts per game, we're getting past issues involving small sample size too. The safe play is to sell him high in exchange for a well-positioned top-20 asset, but what fun would that be? Rotoworld.com

  • Mirotic productive with Pau Gasol out
Nikola Mirotic was productive with Pau Gasol (calf) out on Monday, scoring 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes.

Advice: Mirotic needs an injury or two in front of him before he has any real fantasy value, but this is a good sign that he may be able to come through if given the chance. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 10:55 pm
  • Danny Green fills the stat sheet on Monday
Danny Green filled the stat sheet against the 76ers on Monday with 11 points, two rebounds, four assists, one steal, three blocks and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

Advice: Like most Spurs, he's capable of putting up very useful fantasy lines without much scoring output. Green is worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 10:32 pm
  • LeBron says he was playing through the flu
LeBron James played through the flu in the Cavs' 106-97 home loss to the reeling Nuggets on Monday, scoring 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting with nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes.

Advice: The flu is doubtful to hold him back going forward, especially with the Cavs under increased scrutiny with each passing loss. We're keeping him off the injury report. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 8:14 pm
  • Chandler Parsons hits four treys on Monday
Chandler Parsons got hot against the Hornets on Monday with 17 points, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: His shooting numbers have been down and he came into tonight at just 40.0 percent from the field. Parsons is putting up plenty of stats elsewhere and there has been an upward trend in his stats as the year has gone along. He should be a top-50 player in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Gallinari (knee) plays just eight minutes
Danilo Gallinari (knee) played just eight minutes on Friday against the Cavs.

  • Batum (knee) says he should play on Friday
Nicolas Batum (knee) said he should be okay for Friday's game against the Bulls.

  • Batum (knee) out on Monday vs. Pelicans
Nicolas Batum (knee) will not play on Monday against the Pelicans, as expected.

Advice: Batum's absence has spread minutes around to Allen Crabbe, Will Barton, C.J. McCollum and Steve Blake, but none of them are good fantasy options in most formats. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 5:16 pm
  • Update: Nate and Gallinari will play on Mon.
Nate Robinson and Danilo Gallinari will play against the Cavs on Monday.

Advice: They were ruled out earlier this morning and coach Brian Shaw has changed his tune. There are still way too many concerns about both guys tonight and they are unlikely to play more than half of the game tonight. That said, it's a little harder to be bullish on Arron Afflalo and Wilson Chandler tonight. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 2:31 pm
  • LeBron James is good to go for Monday night
LeBron James (illness) will play against the Nuggets on Monday night.

Advice: He missed shootaround with a head cold, but he was expected to play the entire time. James is hot on offense with 31.6 points per game in his last five and is also getting to the line 9.6 times per game in that span, too. Get him in your lineup even though garbage time will likely be a factor tonight. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 2:28 pm
  • Shaw: Gallo and Nate could play on Monday
Danilo Gallinari and Nate Robinson could play against the Cavs on Monday, according to coach Brian Shaw.

Advice: Interesting. They are not expected to play in back-to-back sets, but the is at least a small chance because of their low minutes on Sunday. Gallinari is still very unlikely to go, so those who were looking to use Wilson Chandler or Arron Afflalo shouldn't be too discouraged. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 2:10 pm
  • LeBron misses shootaround, probable Monday
LeBron James (illness) missed shootaround, but he's probable vs. the Nuggets on Monday.

Advice: The Nuggets are one of the worst teams in the league right now, so the Cavs are likely just being cautious with their superstar. The fact that he's already probable is an indication it's not serious, but daily leaguers should keep James' illness in mind when filling out their lineups on Monday. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 8:04 am
  • Gallinari, Robinson will not play on Monday
Danilo Gallinari and Nate Robinson will both miss Monday's game against the Cavs.

Advice: Both players are fine, but neither is cleared to play in back-to-back sets just yet. Without Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Arron Afflalo should be the main beneficiaries, while Robinson's absence will mean the team will lean a little harder on Ty Lawson. Rotoworld.com

  • Andre Iguodala gets double-digits in blowout
Andre Iguodala scored 10 points with two 3-pointers, three rebounds, one assist and two steals in just 21 minutes on Sunday, in his second double-digit scoring game of the season.

Advice: The Warriors lead the NBA in both pace and fastbreak points, and they rank third in 3-pointers per game. The result is a league-leading 1.33 points per shot, and enough offense to give solid fantasy value to guys like Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes, in addition to Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Iguodala has been conspicuously quiet in a bench role and tonight's result was fueled by a high-scoring blowout win, so he should stay on the waiver wire until further notice. Rotoworld.com

  • Anthony Morrow goes 1-of-9 from field vs. HOU
Anthony Morrow shot just 1-of-9 from the field on Sunday, finishing a tough home loss vs. Houston with four points, one rebound, one steal and three personal fouls in 29 minutes.

Advice: Morrow poured in 28 points vs. the Celtics on Wednesday but he's struggled since then, going a combined 5-of-25 from the field in OKC's past two games. He'll be better most nights and is worth owning if you're in need of scoring and 3-pointers, but don't expect well-rounded production. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum (knee) doubtful for Monday
Nicolas Batum (knee) was a full participant during Sunday's practice, but remains doubtful for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Batum said that the bruise on his right knee is under the bone, and he's still not feeling 100 percent. If Batum is unable to go Allen Crabbe, Will Barton, and C.J. McCollum, will continue to see some extended minutes for the Blazers, but none of those guys makes for a very attractive option in standard leagues. Batum will now be targeting a return for Friday's game vs. the Bulls, stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Draymond Green has a so-so night
Draymond Green scored just seven points with six rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes against the Hornets on Saturday.

Advice: The line isn't great, but a player with a usage rate of only 18.6 isn't going to light it up every night. However, it's interesting to see the drastic upward trend in his minutes. Green played 13.4 in 2012-13, 21.9 in 2013-14 and he's at 32.6 this season. Green also has a remarkable 69.0 effective field goal percentage on his 29 catch-and-shoot attempts. He's been a top-30 player in the past two weeks and could be top 50 all season. Rotoworld.com

  • Andre Roberson (foot) is not close to return
Andre Roberson (foot) is not close to making a return to the Thunder, and will not play on Sunday.

Advice: The Thunder haven't released a lot of info on Roberson which doesn't bode well for his status going forward. The defensive specialist should remain on the waiver wire in almost all leagues until we get a positive report. In the meantime, Jeremy Lamb will continue to play as many minutes as he can handle and is considered a boom-or-bust option. Rotoworld.com

  • Harrison Barnes drops 17 points in 23 minutes
Harrison Barnes dropped 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting in just 23 minutes on Saturday, adding four boards, one assist and three 3-pointers.

Advice: Don't look now but Barnes is starting to find his groove with the Warriors. He has scored over 10 points in his last four games and has finally shown some aggression that been severely lacking upon entering the NBA. However, Barnes may lose a lot of value when David Lee (hamstring) returns so owners in standard leagues should use a cautious approach here. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Martin scores 34 in efficient fashion
Kevin Martin made 12-of-17 from the field for 34 points, three rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers against the Mavericks on Saturday.

Advice: He didn't make a single field goal on Friday and the law of averages helped him out a bit tonight. Of course, Martin hasn't been very efficient in his career, but he is making a pristine 95 percent of his free throws on the season. Fantasy owners can start him while he's active. Rotoworld.com

  • Jimmy Buckets indeed: Butler scores 32 points
Jimmy Butler scored a career-high 32 points against the Pacers on Saturday with six rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes.

Advice: The breakout is real, folks. Butler is getting to the free throw line a ton, knocking down jumpers and playing great on the defense end. After tonight's game, Butler will have first-round value in standard leagues and he's arguably been the best pick in fantasy drafts. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James and Cavs dominate Hawks
LeBron James made 13-of-20 from the field for 32 points during an easy 127-94 win over the Hawks with six rebounds, seven assists, one block and four 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Advice: The Cavs became the first team to ever make the first nine attempts from beyond the arc and made their first 11, but finished just 19-of-31 from that range for the game. LeBron wasn't the only one to tear it up tonight with Kyrie Irving scoring 20 points on nine shots to go with three rebounds, five assists, three steals and four 3-pointers. James and the Cavs will play the Nuggets on Monday followed by the Spurs, Wizards and Raptors this week. Rotoworld.com

  • Cavs still not have no plans to rest LeBron
Coach David Blatt said he isn't planning on resting LeBron James in back-to-back sets for the "foreseeable future."

Advice: The Cavs take on the Hawks tonight following a win over the Celtics on Friday. James scored a season-high 41 points and should get plenty of Thabo Sefolosha tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • Andre Roberson (foot) still out of practice
Andre Roberson (foot) did not practice on Saturday and is listed as out against the Rockets on Sunday.

Advice: He has been ruled out for games before shootaround and we'd probably expect the Thunder to rule him out soon. With Roberson likely out, Anthony Morrow and Jeremy Lamb figure to get most of the work on the wings. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum (knee) is inactive on Saturday
Nicolas Batum (knee) is inactive for Saturday's game against the Nets.

Advice: This is just a reminder and owners will have to look elsewhere on Saturday. Batum is targeting a return on Monday but until then, Allen Crabbe could continue to start while C.J. McCollum and Steve Blake could also see more minutes again. Rotoworld.com

  • Jimmy Butler (ankle) probable for Saturday
Jimmy Butler (ankle) is listed as probable for Saturday's game against Indiana.

Advice: This news comes out of nowhere, and the Bulls are describing the injury as just soreness in his left ankle. Check back for updates prior to tip-off, but if Butler can't go, expect Kirk Hinrich, Aaron Brooks, and even Tony Snell to pick up some extra minutes. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Morrow only scores 10 points vs. Pistons
Anthony Morrow scored just 10 points on 4-of-15 shooting with two threes, three boards and one steal in 36 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Advice: Owners are going to see Jeremy Lamb's career-night of 24 points and 10 boards and consider jumping ship, but coming off a 28-point night of his own Morrow has earned a bit of patience here. He still got good minutes and plenty of shot attempts and even if Lamb does have staying power there's a solid 1-2 week window where he can still do some damage. Rotoworld.com

  • Martin goes hitless on six shot attempts
Kevin Martin went 0-for-6 from the field in Friday's blowout loss, finishing with three points, two rebounds and one assist in 18 minutes.

Advice: Martin is going to be streaky while the team struggles to get its point guard position heading in the right direction. He's built enough goodwill after a fast start to deserve a pass after such a lopsided game. Rotoworld.com

  • Danilo Gallinari scores 12 in win over Indy
Danilo Gallinari scored 12 points on 4-of-6 from the field against the Pacers on Friday, adding four rebounds and three 3-pointers in 22 minutes.

Advice: It was his most impressive game of the season and he's starting to look like 2012-13 Gallinari again. He's still likely going to be very inconsistent and probably won't be a top-100 guy for another month or so, but feel free to grab him to be ahead of the curve. Rotoworld.com

  • Nic Batum officially out for Saturday
Nicolas Batum (knee) is listed as out for Saturday against the Nets.

Advice: The writing has been on the wall and Batum has said he is shooting for Monday. Allen Crabbe could start of the team may go with Dorell Wright now that LaMarcus Aldridge is also out -- Wright has been a stretch four on occasion. C.J. McCollum also played well on Wednesday and is worth a look in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kerr talking lineup change for Warriors?
Coach Steve Kerr said he could change his starting lineup.

Advice: Harrison Barnes has played 34.3 minutes per game in his last three and has been good, so a change would be a bit of a surprise. Andre Iguodala isn't making plays like he used to, so maybe he's not carrying the second unit as well as Kerr had hoped. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Andre Iguodala quiet in 32 minutes
Andre Iguodala had a quiet night in his 32 minutes of action on Thursday with five points, one rebound, three assists and one steal.

Advice: It's a little hard to believe he was a first-round pick in fantasy leagues just a handful of seasons ago, but he's obviously not the same player. Iguodala can be let loose in most leagues and David Lee (hamstring) coming back can't help. Rotoworld.com

  • Dray Day: Draymond Green flirts w/ trey-deuce
Draymond Green took over against the Nets on Thursday with 17 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes.

Advice: He's shined in four of his last five games, averaging 17.2 points, 7.4 boards, 3.8 assists, 2.0 blocks, 0.8 steals and 2.4 triples. Green is absolutely rolling and he'll be a valuable asset for his savvy fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com

  • Chandler Parsons scores 14 points in win
Chandler Parsons made 4-of-7 from the field for 14 points during a piece-of-cake 123-70 win over the 76ers on Thursday with six points, three assists and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Advice: Parsons has hit his stride with the Mavericks and he's been heavily involved in the offense. Parsons is still under-performing in the shooting department, entering tonight with only a 38.7 percent from the field. He'll likely approach his career 46.9 percent from the field soon. • Jimmy still has new moves: Butler nets 21 pts
Jimmy Butler's offensive game flourished again on Thursday against the Raptors, making 7-of-10 from the field for 21 points with nine rebounds, six assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 40 minutes.

Advice: So the preseason matters after all? Butler was one of the most impressive players in October and it's carried over into the regular season. Butler's efficiency was his only question mark and he's been able to turn in an effective field goal percentage of at least 46 in every game this season. We're not even 10 percent into the season, but his owners should feel pretty, pretty good. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Martin plays just 22 minutes in blowout
Kevin Martin played just 22 minutes in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Rockets, finishing with 12 points, five rebounds and a 3-pointer on 4-of-7 shooting.

Advice: Flip Saunders rolled with the young guys tonight and the score was pretty lopsided in favor of Houston. Martin got off to a blistering start this season, but on nights when the Wolves are outmatched, it looks like Saunders may just play the young guys. Hold onto Martin, but don't be afraid to entertain offers for him if an owner comes calling. Rotoworld.com

  • Joe Johnson plays well in losing effort
Joe Johnson played well in a 112-104 losing effort to the Suns on Wednesday with 21 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He called out his teammates for selfish play, but the Nets still only had 17 dimes on their 35 made field goals tonight. Johnson has seen his usage rate rise to 26.9 before tonight and he's been a mid-round guy in fantasy leagues. He should be a mid-round guy the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

  • Anthony Morrow explodes for 28 points vs. BOS
Anthony Morrow had his minutes restriction lifted against the Celtics on Wednesday, finishing with 28 points, five rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers on 11-of-16 from the field.

Advice: He played 31 minutes and the Thunder have made it pretty clear that he'll be a big part of their offense. Morrow scored 10 points in his 14-minute debut on Tuesday and he should be able to flirt with 20 points per game with multiple treys until OKC gets some guys back. He should be owned in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jimmy Butler (thumb) officially 'probable'
Jimmy Butler (thumb) is officially listed as 'probable' for Thursday's game vs. the Raptors.

Advice: Butler has been playing very well lately, averaging 18.6 points on 50.0 percent shooting in the Bulls' past five games, while logging almost 40 minutes per game. It's almost certain that he'll be in the starting lineup, but it's worth mentioning that Chicago is still including him on their injury report. Rotoworld.com

  • Anthony Morrow (knee) could play 30 minutes
Anthony Morrow (knee) will be available to play up to 30 minutes vs. the Celtics on Wednesday.

Advice: He may not get that high, but it's a significant increase after he was limited to 14 minutes in his season debut on Tuesday. His playing time is a threat to starters Jeremy Lamb and Lance Thomas, but the Thunder are still short-handed enough to give all three players substantial minutes. Give Morrow a look if you're in need of scoring and 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 3:23 pm
  • Gallinari, Robinson cleared for full games
Danilo Gallinari and Nate Robinson have been cleared for full game action and will not have minute restrictions.

Advice: He hasn't played more than 20 minutes in any of his six games, so this news comes a little sooner than expected for Gallinari. The Rooster is not playing well on the year, making just 22.2 percent of his attempts from the field, but some rust was to be expected after sitting out all of last season. He'll probably be better, but his prospective fantasy owners should expect him to start slow the next couple weeks. Wilson Chandler may lose a handful of minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Andre Iguodala lousy in bench role Tuesday
Andre Iguodala continues to suffer in a bench role for Golden State, finishing Tuesday's loss with just two points, two rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes.

Advice: He usually hangs his hat on defense, but tonight Manu Ginobili and the rest of the Spurs carved him up. It didn't help Iggy's case that Harrison Barnes scored a season-high 22 points at SF, and fantasy owners have no choice but to shun Iguodala unless his playing time and efficiency both improve. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 10:36 pm
  • Harrison Barnes' 22 pts not enough vs. Spurs
The Warriors lost at home on Tuesday despite getting a season-high 22 points from Harrison Barnes, who sank 9-of-12 shots and grabbed eight rebounds in 39 minutes.

Advice: Barnes has averaged a steady 1.0 threes and 5.3 rebounds this season, but hasn't made a standout impact in fantasy leagues until tonight. This marked his highest playing time and shot attempts, in addition to scoring, so we're not predicting a repeat performance vs. Brooklyn on Thursday. David Lee's eventual return from a hamstring injury presents another threat to Barnes' outlook, making him a short-term option at best. Rotoworld.com
