  • Rodney Stuckey (wrist) shoots 1-of-8 vs. Nets
Rodney Stuckey (sore right wrist) notched four points (1-of-8 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) with two rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes on Tuesday, and he started the second half in place of C.J. Miles (sprained ankle).

Advice: Stuckey recently came back from a calf injury and he's perpetually banged up, but the Pacers are scrapping for a playoff spot so it's not surprising that he'd play at less than 100 percent. His potential for offensive eruptions makes him a tantalizing fantasy option, especially if he starts on Wednesday, though he's been reduced to late-round value over the past 12 games with averages of 14.8 points on 42.8 percent shooting, 3.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.8 steals. • George Hill's game-high 28 pts aren't enough
George Hill scored a game-high 28 points in Brooklyn on Tuesday, making 10-of-17 shots with four 3-pointers, six boards, three assists and zero turnovers in 32 minutes.

Advice: The Pacers' playoff chances took a big hit with tonight's 106-111 loss to the Nets, as they're now 1.5 games behind Brooklyn for the East's final playoff spot. Hill's fantasy owners might not care, however, as he's caught fire recently with five-game averages of 23.0 points, 2.8 triples, 5.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks. That's even sweeter for owners who suffered through his interminable absence to begin the season. Rotoworld.com

  • Alan Anderson scores 20 points on 7-of-11 FGs
Alan Anderson stayed hot on Tuesday with 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting with three 3-pointers, two rebounds and one assist.

Advice: He made all three of his free throws and did his damage in just 24 minutes, eliminating the production of both Bojan Bogdanovic (eight minutes) and Earl Clark (two minutes). Anderson has established a reliable role and he has coach Lionel Hollins' trust, but he's still no more than a 3-point specialist in typical leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Thabo Sefolosha scores season-high 19 points
Thabo Sefolosha got hot in the second half of Tuesday's road loss, finishing with a season-high 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting, two 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes.

Advice: The Hawks lost despite deploying their usual starting lineup but Sefolosha provided a silver lining, proving that he's fully recovered from the calf injury that caused him to miss 23 games. He may be worth fantasy owners' attention when the Hawks rest starters, but is tough to rely on with competition from Kent Bazemore (24 minutes), Shelvin Mack (24 minutes) and even Austin Day (seven minutes). • Jodie Meeks cold in 16 minutes vs. Hawks
Jodie Meeks was cold in 16 minutes vs. Atlanta, making 1-of-6 shots to finish with two points, one assist and two steals.

Advice: There are enough 3-point specialists that Meeks is a rather unappealing pickup -- guys like Ben McLemore, Quincy Pondexter and Marvin Williams are all providing solid 3-point totals with greater overall value. Rotoworld.com

  • C.J. Miles (ankle) now doubtful to return Tue
Updating a previous report, C.J. Miles (sprained ankle) is doubtful to return to Tuesday's game.

Advice: He sprained his ankle in the first quarter and was able to return for a while, but Rodney Stuckey took his place in the starting lineup to begin the second half. We'll pass along an update after the game. Rotoworld.com

  • C.J. Miles returns after spraining ankle
C.J. Miles sprained his right ankle early during Tuesday's game, but he has since returned.

Advice: He dealt with a severe left ankle injury last season but hasn't had any issues this season, and Indy is fortunate that he returned in a must-win game vs. Brooklyn. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (wrist) will play Tuesday
Rodney Stuckey (wrist) will play Tuesday vs. the Nets.

Advice: Stuckey will draw a very favorable matchup against the Nets tonight, so make sure you have him on your active roster. C.J. Waton's value takes a hit with Stuckey active. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis (calf) could play Wednesday
Monta Ellis (calf) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice, and head coach Rick Carlisle implied that there's a good chance Ellis will be able to play Wednesday vs. OKC.

Advice: "Nothing's for sure tomorrow, but it looks promising," said Carlisle of Ellis potentially playing on Wednesday. If Ellis is indeed able to return on Wednesday, he will have only spent a mere one-game on the sidelines. His return to action will push Richard Jefferson back to the bench and irrelevancy in most leagues. Owners can expect to get another update on Ellis' status following Wednesday morning's shootaround. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Garrett Temple (hamstring) doesn't practice
Garrett Temple (hamstring) did not practice on Tuesday.

Advice: Temple has been sidelined since March 9, has not been able to practice, and remains without a clear timetable to return. We're going to consider him very doubtful for Wednesday's game vs. the 76ers, and he belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Patrick Beverley undergoes successful surgery
Patrick Beverley had surgery on his left wrist on Tuesday and the surgery has been deemed a success.

Advice: Beverley will be in a cast for the next 10 weeks and will need four months of recovery. While the Rockets have Jason Terry, Pablo Prigioni, and Nick Johnson to fill in for Beverley, none are a fantasy option outside of the deepest of leagues. James Harden will have to carry even more of the load for the Rockets for the rest of the season and will have a good chance to bolster his case for MVP. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo scores 16 points vs. PHX
Arron Afflalo played well again on Monday during a 109-86 victory over the Suns, scoring 16 points with two rebounds, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He had a 21-point game on Saturday and is now the hottest he's ever been while in a Portland uniform. Still, the steals aren't there and he's not doing much besides scoring, so he's not a hot property in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Yesterday, 11:12 pm
  • Nicolas Batum as a nice line vs. Suns
Nicolas Batum scored 16 points with five rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Suns on Monday.

Advice: He scored 10 points on 6-of-8 from the field on Saturday, so Batum is finally back to putting up numbers after a rocky start on Friday following a back injury. Coach Terry Stotts doesn't sound like he's going to rest players, so Batum can be considered a must-start player going forward. Rotoworld.com

  • Budinger scores 14 points with two threes
Chase Budinger scored 14 points off the bench on Monday, hitting 5-of-11 shots (including two threes) with seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in 35 minutes.

Advice: Sure, some folks could return and spoil things, but he looks like a guy that can hold significant minutes and provide late-round returns at a minimum. He has been much better than that lately and he should be owned in all standard formats. Rotoworld.com

  • DeRozan has career-night with 42 & 11
DeMar DeRozan scored a career-high 42 points and tied a career-best with 11 rebounds in the Raptors' 99-96 win over the Rockets on Monday.

Advice: DeRozan hit 14-of-27 shots (2-of-4 3PTs, 12-of-17 FTs) to go with one steal, one block and six turnovers, as his usage was off the charts with Kyle Lowry (back) out. Look for this trend to continue until Lowry returns, and owners that are sensitive to field goal percentage may need to keep a close eye on him in case he gets a bit too trigger happy. Rotoworld.com

  • Gerald Green gets 19 minutes, scores 13
Gerald Green scored 13 points in 19 minutes against the Blazers on Monday with two rebounds, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He was a DNP-CD on Sunday, but Green was very busy tonight with 12 shots from the field and two turnovers. With the Suns likely to prepare for the 2015-16 season, they may opt to go with their young guys over Green. Keep him on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Ellington scores 20 points with four treys
Wayne Ellington scored 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting with four threes, three boards and three assists over 43 minutes in Monday's overtime win.

Advice: Ellington could be slated into big minutes if the Lakers' continue to rest so many guys and that will make him a late-round asset, relevant if you need 3-point shooting, scoring and a trickle of other popcorn stats. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (wrist) questionable Tuesday
Rodney Stuckey (wrist) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nets.

Advice: Stuckey logged 30 minutes in Sunday's win over the Mavs while coming off a calf injury, but apparently he managed to add another injury in the process. If he's forced to sit out, C.J. Miles and C.J. Watson would both be the most direct beneficiaries. Rotoworld.com

  • Report: Beverley to have surgery, end season
Updating a previous item, Patrick Beverley has decided to have wrist surgery, and the procedure will end his season, a source told the Houston Chronicle.

Advice: It's a devastating blow to the Rockets as the team is paper-thin at point guard behind him. Rookie Nick Johnson and veterans Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni will look to fill the void, but none are real options for owners who have lost Beverley. MVP candidate James Harden will have even more to do as the Rockets close out the season in preparation for the playoffs. Rotoworld.com

  • Rockets to make decision on Beverley Monday
The Rockets are expected to make a decision on Patrick Beverley's wrist on Monday.

Advice: After Kevin McHale said on Sunday that Beverley is unlikely to return this season, we're reading the tea leaves. If Beverley undergoes surgery, he'll be out the rest of the way, leaving Houston with just Jason Terry, Pablo Prigioni and Nick Johnson at point guard. With how much James Harden handles the ball, the Rockets will survive offensively, but Beverley's defense can't be replaced. Rotoworld.com

  • C.J. Miles scores game-high 28 points in win
C.J. Miles poured in a game-high 28 points to help Indiana beat the visiting Mavericks on Sunday, making 9-of-12 field goals with five 3-pointers, four rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Advice: Miles also went 5-of-6 at the FT line, richly rewarding owners who gambled on him despite the return of Rodney Stuckey (calf). He's been good enough to keep in all active lineups, especially since the playoff-hungry Pacers are heading into a four-game week. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) plays 30 minutes Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) logged 30 minutes during Sunday's much-needed win vs. Dallas, scoring 10 points with one 3-pointer, five rebounds and two assists.

Advice: He wasn't on a minute-limit and is safe to deploy whenever he's healthy, as the Pacers have given him a green-light to shoot with their second unit (he finished 4-of-14 from the field tonight). The second unit has proven to be a strength for Indiana this season -- their bench is averaging 41.0 points per game, second in the NBA behind only the Lakers. Stuckey's return stole some playing time from C.J. Miles (28 minutes), C.J. Watson (24 minutes) and especially Solomon Hill (14 minutes). Rotoworld.com

  • Alan Anderson scores nine pts w/ two steals
Alan Anderson scored nine points on 3-of-6 shooting (2-of-2 from the charity stripe), with one 3-pointer, three rebounds, three assists and two steals through 28 minutes of action.

Advice: Anderson is a guy that can do a little bit of everything, and he's seen his minutes increased over the past two games with Thaddeus Young (knee) unavailable. He's not going to blow you away with his production, but if you're in a deep league and looking for a low-end steals/3-point specialist, Anderson could be your guy. Rotoworld.com
    Sunday, 3:05 pm
  • Wayne Ellington scores 13 points w/ 3 treys
Wayne Ellington made the most of his return to the starting unit on Sunday, scoring 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting, to go with five rebounds, two assists, three 3-pointers and two turnovers over 30 minutes of action.

Advice: Ellington's numbers as a starter are significantly better than his averages as a reserve, but Jeremy Lin (illness) could be back as soon as Monday, so owners of Ellington will want to check in on the status of Lin before deploying him. Ellington can be viewed as a 3-point specialist in deep leagues, but he's by no means a must-own guy in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Sunday, 2:57 pm
  • McHale not optimistic about Beverley's return
Kevin McHale said that Patrick Beverley (wrist) probably won't be back this season.

Advice: While an official decision has not been made on Beverley, this is the first time McHale has spoken with this degree of pessimism, so things really aren't looking good at all for Beverley. Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni will continue to man the point guard position in his absence, but neither guy is deserving of a roster spot in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Wayne Ellington will start at SG Sunday
Wayne Ellington will start at shooting guard for Sunday's game vs. the Nets with Jeremy Lin (illness) unavailable.

Advice: With Lin out today, Ellington and Jordan Clarkson are going to be forced into heavy minutes with a very favorable matchup against the Nets. Jabari Brown will also have the opportunity to log extended minutes off the bench, but Clarkson and Ellington are the guys that should be targeted in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Sunday, 11:08 am
  • Monta Ellis (calf) will not play vs. Pacers
Monta Ellis (calf) has officially been ruled out of Sunday's game vs. the Pacers, and Richard Jefferson will draw the start at shooting guard.

Advice: Ellis had played in 237 consecutive games before the injury, so it's obviously a huge blow for his owners who are in the middle of fantasy playoffs. Ellis is off crutches, but he is still in a lot of pain and doesn't have a timetable to return. We will update his status once we know more, but the Mavericks will probably proceed with caution. Jefferson is worth a look in deeper leagues for owners in need of short-term value, while Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris will likely see a boost in value as well with the added responsibility on offense. • Rodney Stuckey (calf) will play on Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) will play on Sunday vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: Stuckey is returning from a three-game absence due to a calf strain, so it will be interesting to see how he holds up during the game. He isn't a must-own player by any means, but he is worth a look if you need help in scoring. C.J. Watson and C.J. Miles will lose some touches on offense Sunday, and their owners should expect their value to take a hit. Rotoworld.com
    Sunday, 8:13 am
  • Garrett Temple (hamstring) out again Sunday
Garrett Temple (hamstring) will not play vs. the Rockets on Sunday.

Advice: Temple still isn't practicing and he is probably looking at some additional time on the sidelines. He wasn't a fantasy asset even when he was healthy, so he belongs on the waiver wire in just about all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Mavericks preparing to be without Monta Ellis
The Mavericks are preparing for Sunday's game vs. the Pacers with the expectation that Monta Ellis (calf) will not be able to play.

Advice: "We're going to have to make up for his loss collectively," head coach Rick Carlisle said in regards to replacing Ellis. "You don't lose your best offensive player and have one guy who can step up and make the difference. The whole group's got to step forward. So we got our work cut out for us." Carlisle also said that they won't rush Ellis back from injury, so it's safe to say that he is probably looking at some time on the shelf. Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris will be busy in the backcourt vs. the Pacers, while J.J. Barea (ankle) is also hopeful that he will be able to return from injury Sunday. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo scores 21 points vs. Nuggets
Arron Afflalo scored 21 points against the Nuggets on Saturday with five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer on 8-of-11 from the field.

Advice: Revenge game? Afflalo didn't really have beef with Denver, but this was a very, very overdue positive showing. His two steals and 21 points were the most he's produced in a Blazer uniform. We'll need to see it again, especially considering he's been posting some single-digit usage rates this month. • Rodney Stuckey (calf) questionable Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: Stuckey has been in street clothes for the past three games, and the Pacers may continue to err on the side of caution on Sunday. If Stuckey is unable to play, C.J. Watson and C.J. Miles will be the primary beneficiaries and would be worth a look in daily leagues. We should have another update after shootaround Sunday. Rotoworld.com
    Saturday, 10:12 am
  • Monta Ellis (calf) is doubtful to play Sunday
Monta Ellis (calf) is considered very doubtful to play vs. the Pacers on Sunday according to head coach Rick Carlisle.

Advice: Ellis has played in 237 consecutive games and is easily one of the most durable players in the NBA, but it is highly unlikely that he plays. Ellis was still using crutches on Saturday and obviously isn't going to practice, but we should have another update after shootaround Sunday. Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris would be extremely busy if Ellis ends up sitting this one out, while the Mavericks are also hoping that J.J. Barea (ankle) will be able to return Sunday. For what it's worth, Ellis won't have an MRI until at least Monday when the team returns to Dallas, and while Carlisle is concerned, he doesn't expect the injury to be too serious. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum scores five in return
Nicolas Batum scored five points with nine rebounds, five assists, one 3-pointer and four turnovers in 32 minutes against the Suns on Friday.

Advice: It was his first game back from a two-game absence. Batum wasn't thoroughly involved with the scoring, but he did a fine job setting up LaMarcus Aldridge. Batum was rolling before his back injury, so expect him to pick it up on Saturday vs. the Nuggets. Rotoworld.com

  • Gerald Green scores 12 in 13 minutes
Gerald Green scored 12 points in 13 minutes against the Blazers on Friday with five rebounds and two 3-pointers.

Advice: Coach Jeff Hornacek said he gave Green some extra run because he needed some shooting in the lineup, but Green looked gassed tonight. He probably didn't help himself much for playing time and Brandon Knight (ankle) should be back soon, so leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com
    Friday, 11:24 pm
  • Monta (calf) left locker room on crutches
Updating an earlier item, Monta Ellis (calf) left the locker room on crutches and as we passed along earlier he will be evaluated on Saturday.

Advice: Crutches can be used as a precautionary measure but it's certainly not good to hear. Ellis is one of the toughest players in the league and doesn't miss games, but the Mavs may be able to convince him that it would be necessary in advance of the playoffs. Rajon Rondo (seven points, five boards, five assists, one steal) and Chandler Parsons (nine points, six boards, two assists, three steals, one trey) would be beneficiaries if he misses any time. • Chase Budinger puts up 23 points vs. Houston
Chase Budinger scored 23 points against the Rockets on Friday with four rebounds and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Advice: He's basically the sixth man for the Wolves right now. The Wolves only had seven guys log more than 10 minutes for the second consecutive game, so being the sixth man is a pretty good gig. Budinger scored 22 points on Wednesday and is worth owning in standard leagues right now. Rotoworld.com

  • DeMar DeRozan makes 1-of-10 from field
DeMar DeRozan made 1-of-10 from the field for six points during a 94-83 win over the Lakers on Friday, adding 10 boards, seven assists, one steal and one turnover.

Advice: He really has to take it easy on his jumpers. In his last nine games, DeRozan has made just 25.8 percent on his jump shots, which account for 44.9 percent of his shot total. He's also struggled all over the court on shooting, averaging 20.1 points, 6.7 boards, 4.3 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.6 treys on 37.0 percent from the field in that span. Considering he's taking 15.3 shots per game, he's one of the worst guys for field goal percentage right now. Rotoworld.com
    Friday, 10:39 pm
  • Alan Anderson plays 30 minutes on Friday
Alan Anderson logged 30 minutes off the bench on Friday, scoring 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds and one steal.

Advice: With Thaddeus Young (knee) looking doubtful for Sunday's game and possibly more, this type of workload seems like a decent bet until Young gets back. Anderson has a week of late-round value under his belt and isn't going to blow you away, but if you need shooting guard stats he could be worth a look. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis dealing with a right calf injury
Monta Ellis was kneed in the right calf and coach Rick Carlisle said he doesn't know what the extent of the injury is.

Advice: "We'll see how he feels in the morning and go from there," Carlisle said. It sounds like he's dealing with a leg contusion, which has occurred an inordinate amount of times this season. Ellis is one of the toughest dudes in the NBA, so he might not need to miss time. If he does, it'll be Devin Harris, Richard Jefferson and Chandler Parsons filling in the most for Monta. • Monta Ellis suffers lower right leg injury
Monta Ellis suffered a right leg injury on Friday night and will not return.

Advice: He was getting looked at on the bench before going to the locker room. It's unknown what the extent of the injury is for Monta, but he's usually very durable and this is a little bit of a surprise to see he's unlikely to return. He may be re-evaluated on Saturday. Ellis left the game with 10 points, two boards, one assist and one steal. With Monta out, expect Devin Harris and Chandler Parsons to step up. There's also been a Raymond Felton sighting tonight. • Garrett Temple (hamstring) out Friday vs. CHA
Garrett Temple (hamstring) will remain sidelined for Friday's game vs. the Hornets.

  • Nicolas Batum (back) probable to play on Friday
Nicolas Batum (back) is probable to play against the Suns on Friday.

Advice: He missed the last two games and should be ready to play tonight. Batum reportedly looked good in warmups on Wednesday, but the team still held him out. Hopefully he doesn't aggravate his back injury and puts up a big line in what should be a high-scoring game. Dorell Wright can be dropped in most leagues while C.J. McCollum will also take a big hit. • Flip Saunders praises Chase Budinger's play
Flip Saunders praised Chase Budinger's play and professionalism during a recent interview.

Advice: "He’s got his confidence," Saunders said. "He was able to stay with it. He was able to keep on playing through. Some guys, especially veterans, might have given up on it. Said, ‘This is kind of a lost season.’ But he kept on shooting, kept on working on his game. And when an opportunity came, he took advantage of it. He’s extremely professional." Budinger has excelled since being forced into the rotation due to a slew of injuries to Minnesota's roster, and over the past eight games he has put in averages of 12.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 three-pointers on 53.5 percent shooting. He's worth owning in all standard leagues while he's this hot. Rotoworld.com

  • George Hill scores 24 points, hits six treys
George Hill stayed hot against the Bucks on Thursday during a 111-107 loss with 24 points, three rebounds, five assists, one steal and six 3-pointers on 7-of-12 from the field.

Advice: His six 3-pointers were a career high and the Bucks just left him open way too often. He's scored at least 20 points in four of his last five, averaging 23.0 points, 4.2 boards, 5.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.4 triples. Hill no longer has a minutes limit and is one of the hottest properties in fantasy in the past two weeks with second-round value in that span. Rotoworld.com

  • C.J. Miles scores 26 points in a loss
C.J. Miles was the good version of himself against the Bucks on Thursday, making 7-of-14 from the field for 26 points with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He briefly left the game due to a leg injury and was able to return about seven minutes later in real time. Miles has been able to knock down 2.1 treys per game in his previous 16 games since the break, but he's been detrimental to most fantasy categories. Congrats if you streamed him on the light night. • Report: Beverley seeking 2nd opinion on wrist
Patrick Beverley is reportedly seeking to get a second opinion on the torn ligament in his left wrist to decide whether or not he will need to undergo surgery.

Advice: We'll be monitoring this situation closely, but with Beverley set to miss at least the next week of action, he belongs on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues. Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni will man the point guard position in his absence, but neither guy is really capable of doing enough on the stat sheet to be considered a viable option in standard leagues. Garrett Temple (hamstring) was spotted getting up some shots following Thursday's practice.

Advice: Temple was not able to practice on Thursday, and has been out since March 9, so we'll be considering him doubtful for Friday's game vs. Charlotte. With season averages of just 3.9 points on 40.0 percent shooting from the field, he belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Patrick Beverley (wrist) out Friday vs. MIN
Patrick Beverley (wrist) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Timberwolves, as expected.

Advice: Beverley is dealing with a torn ligament in his wrist, and his fantasy season is likely over. Jason Terry slotted into the starting point guard spot on Wednesday, but he only managed to put up two points, two rebounds, three assists, and four turnovers through 27 minutes of action, so he's not a great guy to own in standard leagues. James Harden is going to be the primary ball handler with Beverley out, so he stands to gain the most in Beverley’s absence. Pablo Prigioni will serve as Terry's primary backup, but he doesn't do enough on the stat sheet to matter in almost any league. Rotoworld.com

Advice: This will be Stuckey's second consecutive game on the sidelines (and he missed most of a third), and we'll be considering him questionable for Sunday's game vs. Dallas. C.J. Watson has stepped up in Stuckey's absence, and he's worth a look as a streamer option for owners seeking some 3-point shooting, steals, and assists. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey questionable for Thursday
Rodney Stuckey (sore left calf) listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bucks.

Advice: While the questionable tag leaves the possibility open for Stuckey to suit up, it would be a surprise to see him play after an MRI revealed a calf strain on Wednesday. If Stuckey can't play, look for C.J. Watson to be the primary fantasy beneficiary against the Bucks on Thursday. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis denies problem with Rajon Rondo
Despite reports of dissension in the Mavs' locker room, Monta Ellis said he has no problems with Rajon Rondo.

Advice: While the Rondo-Ellis pairing ranks 148 out of 149 Mavericks pairings this season, according to Basketball Reference, Ellis insists the duo can do great things together. "There’s no problem [with Rondo]," Ellis said. "Rondo is a great asset on both ends of the floor. It takes a while for the player to really get adjusted to a new system, new personalities, figuring out where guys want the ball. I think it’s going to work out for the best for us once we get over the hump." Ellis broke out of his slump in a big way against the Spurs on Tuesday night and will have a chance to continue that trend when the Mavericks play the Spurs again on Friday. Rotoworld.com

  • Thabo Sefolosha feeling fine after return
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) said he felt fine in his return on Wednesday night.

Advice: Sefolosha played just seven minutes against the Magic in his first game since late-January, but was able to get through the game without any setbacks. With the playoffs on the horizon, the Hawks are likely to be cautious with Sefolosha's minutes so he can be left on the waiver wire in most fantasy formats. Rotoworld.com

  • Surprise: Nic Batum gets a DNP Wednesday
Nicolas Batum was actually listed as a starter at one point on Wednesday, and it then sounded like he would come off the bench for the Blazers as he deals with a sore back. However, he never got into the game.

Advice: We're not quite sure what happened here, but the Blazers were not comfortable playing him tonight. The fact he appeared to be a go should be viewed as good news though, and hopefully he'll be back on Friday against the Suns. Allen Crabbe got the surprise start, but Dorell Wright had 15 points, five boards and three 3-pointers, and looks like the safest option if Batum is going to miss more time. Rotoworld.com

  • Chase Budinger scores season-high 22
Chase Budinger came off the bench and played 40 minutes, hitting 9-of-14 shots and three 3-pointers for a season-high 22 points, six rebounds, a steal and a block in Wednesday's overtime loss to the Lakers.

Advice: He sent the game to OT with a 3-pointer with 6.6 seconds left in regulation and has now scored in double figures in seven straight games. Pick him up, and hope that Kevin Martin continues to sit for his hamstring, as well as tanking purposes. Rotoworld.com

  • Wayne Ellington shoots 19 times, scores 7
Wayne Ellington came off the bench and played a team-high 39 minutes, hitting 3-of-19 shots and a 3-pointer for seven points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal in Wednesday's overtime loss to Minnesota.

Advice: Ellington complied with the Lakers' wish to lose this game, but they still pulled it out in OT. Ellington has had potential all season, but has rarely come through for his owners. The minutes and shots were a lot more encouraging than the results, but he might be worth a flier if you have someone to cut. Rotoworld.com

  • DeMar DeRozan scores 20 points vs. Bulls
DeMar DeRozan scored 20 points during a 116-103 loss to the Bulls on Wednesday with two rebounds, five assists and one steal in 39 minutes.

Advice: He has become more of a facilitator for the Raptors, but he still made just 7-of-19 from the field. DeRozan has made just 40.5 percent from the field in his last seven, averaging 22.4 points, 6.3 boards, 3.7 dimes, 0.6 steals, 2.0 turnovers and 0.7 treys. Specifically, he's made 29.6 percent on his mid-range shots in that span, which accounted for 46.6 percent of his shot total. DeRozan needs to attack the basket more. Rotoworld.com

  • George Hill drops 29 points, hits game-winner
George Hill hit a game-winning layup against the Wizards on Wednesday during a 103-101 victory, scoring 29 points with seven rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block and four turnovers.

Advice: He made 12-of-24 from the field and had total control of the offense tonight. Hill played a season-high 43 minutes, which crushed his previous season high of 36 from Monday night. It's pretty clear his minutes limit has been lifted, but this does have a little to do with Rodney Stuckey (calf) missing time. Hill is a must-start player regardless. Rotoworld.com

  • Thabo Sefolosha finally returns for Hawks
Thabo Sefolosha finally returned from his calf injury and played seven scoreless minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: He's not going to have any fantasy value, but the Hawks will need his defense and experience in the playoffs. He hadn't played since Jan. 30. Rotoworld.com

  • Update: Nicolas Batum coming off the bench
Nicolas Batum will come off the bench with Allen Crabbe starting in his place against the Jazz on Wednesday.

Advice: This sounds about right from coach Terry Stotts. Batum should still see a nice chunk of minutes tonight and should be in all lineups. Crabbe is not a fantasy option. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum will start against the Jazz
Nicolas Batum (back) will start against the Jazz on Wednesday.

Advice: He went through warmups and everything seems to be OK for Batum. There's no sign of him being limited, so his fantasy owners should have him locked and loaded tonight. Dorell Wright and Alonzo Gee are not attractive plays tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • Nic Batum might have a good chance to play?
Nicolas Batum (back) may have a good chance to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.

Advice: We're going based off team reporter Casey Holdahl saying he thinks Batum will give it a go. Batum may be limited and he's certainly going to be at risk for an aggravation, but owners of Dorell Wright, C.J. McCollum and Alonzo Gee should dial down their expectations. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum (back) is warming up to play
Nicolas Batum (back) is on the court warming up to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.

Advice: He's shaping up to be a game-time decision tonight. If he can't go, it should be Alonzo Gee and Dorell Wright getting most of his minutes. Batum has played through a lot of injuries this season, so he has a chance to play. We should have another update shortly. Rotoworld.com

  • Report: Pat Beverley (wrist) has ligament tear
Patrick Beverley (wrist) suffered a torn ligament in his wrist and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Advice: If he tore a ligament in his wrist, he's likely going to be out for the season and there's a good chance he'll need surgery. As for the prognosis, it could be a couple weeks or over a month. Regardless, his fantasy owners in redraft leagues almost certainly have to cut him. Jason Terry will likely start and get minutes in the 24-32 range with Pablo Prigioni backing him up. Additionally, coach Kevin McHale has used two different lineup combos in his last two games with James Harden as the point guard. Give Terry a look if you're looking for some treys and scoring. • Nicolas Batum (back) questionable for Wed
Nicolas Batum (back) is questionable to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.

Advice: He missed Tuesday due to an injury from Saturday, but he was listed as doubtful for that game. The Blazers are hopeful Batum can play at some point on the upcoming road trip, which is just for today and Friday. If he's out, Alonzo Gee or Dorell Wright would likely start. Coach Terry Stotts started Gee on Tuesday with Wright at the four, but the matchup is a little different this time around against a big Utah front line. Wright is the more attractive play if you're feeling frisky. Batum owners will want to check back for an update. Rotoworld.com

  • Beverley set to decide on wrist in 7-10 days
Patrick Beverley (wrist) is scheduled to meet with a specialists, but a decision won't be made on his status for another 7-10 days.

Advice: There is reportedly a chance that Beverley will need a season-ending surgery on his wrist, but the Rockets will likely exhaust all other options first. Beverley's owners should probably move on at this point, but we will update his status once we know more. Jason Terry will assume the starting point guard duties for the Rockets, and he is worth picking up in deeper leagues for his 3-point shooting. Pablo Prigioni should play more too, but he isn't a reliable option in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Patrick Beverley (wrist) out on Wednesday
Patrick Beverley (wrist) will not play vs. the Pelicans on Wednesday as expected.

Advice: We are expected to learn whether or not Beverley will decide to have a season-ending surgery on his wrist shortly, so we should have another update soon. Jason Terry figures to be the primary beneficiary with Beverley on the sidelines, and he is worth a look for anyone needing 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com

  • Thabo Sefolosha (calf) will play on Wednesday
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) went through shootaround and will play on Wednesday vs. the Magic as expected.

Advice: After a 23-game absence, Sefolosha is finally back to bolster Atlanta's bench rotation. Expect the Hawks to ease him back into action tonight, and just to be clear, he still belongs on the wire in just about all leagues at the moment. Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 8:20 am
  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) will not play Wednesday
An MRI revealed that Rodney Stuckey has a calf strain, and he will not be able to play vs. the Wizards on Wednesday.

Advice: This is a tough blow for the Pacers, and it's starting to look unlikely that Stuckey will be able to play on Thursday vs. the Bucks as well. C.J. Watson dropped 23 points in Stuckey's absence on Monday, and he should be considered the primary beneficiary of this news and is worth a look in daily leagues. We will pass along any additional updates regarding Stuckey as soon as we know more. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis says that he is finally healthy
Monta Ellis said after Tuesday's game vs. the Spurs that he has battled several injuries all season, but he is finally healthy and is ready to make some noise down the stretch.

Advice: "I've been battling injuries all season," Ellis said. "The last few days, my body has been feeling good and tonight I'll sleep real good. I went and worked out last night for at least two and a half hours. I wanted to come in tonight and give my team a lift that they have been looking for." Ellis exploded for 38 points vs. the Spurs Tuesday after being held to just 11 points on 4-of-22 shooting vs. the Suns on Sunday, so hopefully this is a sign that his slump is over. There have been some reports that Ellis has created some unrest in the Mavericks' locker room, but a couple of wins will likely give everyone in Dallas a solid morale boost. Rotoworld.com

  • Mavs beat Spurs behind Monta Ellis' 38 points
Monta Ellis bounced back after a disastrous game on Sunday, finishing Tuesday's impressive win vs. the Spurs with 38 points on 16-of-27 shooting with two 3-pointers, five assists and two steals.

Advice: He shot a combined 7-of-31 in his previous two contests and almost single-handedly lost Sunday's game vs. the Suns, so it was a relief to see him score three quick buckets to get himself rolling tonight. The 29-year-old Ellis hasn't missed a game all season, which is remarkable given how much contact he takes every night, and he's rewarding 8-cat owners with top-40 value. Rotoworld.com

  • Wayne Ellington scores 15 pts off LA's bench
Wayne Ellington scored 15 points off L.A.'s bench on Tuesday, making 6-of-14 FGs with three 3-pointers, three boards, two assists, one steal and zero turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: Ellington was a drag on standard-league rosters even while starting, returning positive value in just one category (3-pointers), so his benching may seal his fate as a waiver wire regular. Don't hesitate to cut him for a free agent with more upside. Rotoworld.com

  • Patrick Beverley might be out for the season?
Patrick Beverley could potentially have a season-ending surgery on his wrist, but a final decision will be made on Wednesday morning after he goes through another evaluation.

Advice: The Rockets want to know if there is any risk of further damage before proceeding with the surgery, so there is some hope that Beverley's season might not be over just yet. However, Beverley's wrist has clearly limited him for a while now, so it's going to be an issue moving forward regardless. Beverley's owners can feel free to hang tight until we know more on Wednesday, but they should start looking for a backup plan. Jason Terry figures to be the biggest beneficiary if Beverley's season is over, and he is worth a speculative add in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Nicolas Batum (back) expected to sit Tuesday
Nicolas Batum (back) didn't go through warmups and he's not listed as a starter for Tuesday's game vs. Golden State.

Advice: Batum didn't practice on Monday and he was listed as doubtful prior to being ruled out, so this shouldn't catch any owners by surprise. The extremely short-handed Blazers will rely on Alonzo Gee, Dorell Wright, C.J. McCollum and Arron Afflalo to pick up extra playing time in Batum's absence, with Gee taking Batum's spot in the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com

  • Wayne Ellington shifts to bench vs. Thunder
Wayne Ellington will move to the Lakers bench on Tuesday with Jeremy Lin starting alongside Jordan Clarkson.

Advice: Ellington is averaging just 16.4 minutes as a reserve this season and he's unlikely to muster any value now that Lin has leap-frogged him in the rotation. There should be better 3-point specialists available on every waiver wire. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 5:00 pm
  • Thabo Sefolosha (calf) probable for Wednesday
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) went through a full practice on Tuesday, and has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Magic.

Advice: Sefolosha has missed the past 23 games, so he'll likely be eased back into the rotation. However, as long as Kyle Korver is healthy, Sefolosha belongs on the waiver wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Tuesday, 2:35 pm
  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) questionable Wednesday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) did not practice on Tuesday, and he is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Advice: If Stuckey is unable to go on Wednesday, expect C.J. Watson to pick up most of his minutes. Watson was able to put up 23 points with a full line on Monday with Stuckey out, so he'll be worth a look as a low-end, plug-and-play option in daily leagues if Stuckey is indeed unavailable Wednesday. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Thabo Sefolosha inching closer to return
Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer said Thabo Sefolosha (calf) is getting closer to a return.

Advice: "Thabo is very close," Budenholzer said. "He had a very good workout today. I think we’ll see how his calf responds to that. If everything is in a good place. I’ll just leave it as he is very, very close." While Thabo's return will put a dent in the fantasy value of Kent Bazemore and Dennis Schroder, he can be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues as the Hawks are likely to limit his minutes after a two-month layoff. • Budinger hits four more threes on Monday
Chase Budinger hit a season-high four treys in Monday's overtime win over the Jazz, finishing with 15 points on 4-of-13 shooting, three rebounds, five assists and two steals in 39 minutes.

Advice: Budinger has probably earned solid playing time going forward, but as guys return his touches are going to be a question mark. It's entirely possible he dodges all of that and provides serviceable value for owners hunting threes, but he comes with a decent amount of risk. Rotoworld.com

  • C.J. Miles makes 3-of-16 from the field
C.J. Miles made 3-of-16 from the field against the Rockets on Monday for six points with two rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes.

Advice: He missed all eight shots from deep. Miles is the ultimate boom-or-bust player and he's one of the best bets if you had to guess a player was going to shoot below 25 percent from the game. Of course, he could drop 25 his next time out. He is what he is. Rotoworld.com

  • George Hill puts up big 20-point line vs. HOU
George Hill filled the stat sheet against the Rockets on Monday with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists, three steals, three blocks and two 3-pointers on 9-of-15 form the field in 36 minutes

Advice: He stepped up with Rodney Stuckey (calf) out and certainly didn't look like he had any issues with his back. Hill is really picking up his scoring in his last five, averaging 19.0 points, 3.4 boards, 3.8 dimes, 1.0 steals and 1.4 treys and 1.7 turnovers on 56.5 percent from the field. He's a must-start player. Rotoworld.com

  • Thabo Sefolosha (calf) close to a return
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) is "very, very close" to a return.

Advice: His 6-8 week timetable is almost up from his injury back in January. The Hawks gave most of his minutes to Dennis Schroder and Kent Bazemore, so expect those guys to play a little less when the Hawks have a full roster. Although, they'll be resting players a lot more. Keep Sefolosha on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo scores eight points
Arron Afflalo scored eight points on 3-of-6 from the field and 2-of-3 from the line with three rebounds, one assist and three fouls.

Advice: Even with all the injuries, Afflalo still can't produce. He somehow only put up a 9.8 usage rate tonight, which makes his position of shooting guard a complete misnomer. His ceiling will be raised with all of these injuries, but there's no need to be proactive in adding him right now based on how poorly he's played. Rotoworld.com

  • C.J. Miles scores 14 points vs. Nets
C.J. Miles made 5-of-11 from the field for 14 points with six boards and four 3-pointers during a 123-111 loss to the Nets on Friday.

Advice: He scored his first 12 points on 150.0 effective field goal percentage, but fizzled out making just 1-of-7 the rest of the way. Miles could be in line for more minutes, but Rodney Stuckey's calf injury sounds minor. Paul George (leg) could also return soon and take minutes from him. If he's on the wire, there's no need to be too aggressive in grabbing him. Rotoworld.com

  • George Hill dealing with his back injury
George Hill is still dealing with a back injury and finished Saturday's game against the Nets with 18 points, four rebounds, nine assists and one turnover.

Advice: He didn't look like himself and gave up several easy baskets on defense. Hill has been battling through his back injury since Wednesday, but he's still played at least 30 minutes in all of those games. Just keep an eye on his injury going forward and plug him in this week for his four games. Rotoworld.com

  • Thabo Sefolosha (calf) out for Sunday
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) is out against the Spurs on Sunday.

Advice: He is on the tail end of his 6-8 week prognosis for a strained calf back in January. The Hawks have given his minutes to Dennis Schroder and Kent Bazemore, who both played well in that past couple months. While Sefolosha may cause those two to lose playing time, Bazemore and Schroder should see more minutes with the Hawks having their magic number at three to clinch home court and ready to rest their starters. • Lakers interested in keeping Wayne Ellignton
Head coach Byron Scott said that the Lakers will "absolutely" consider re-signing Wayne Ellington this offseason.

Advice: "He made himself a valuable part of this team," Scott said. "We don’t know what next year holds. But he has shown 30 teams he knows how to play the game." Ellington has made strides on the defensive end this season and is much more versatile on offense, so it makes sense for the Lakers to retain him. Free agency and the draft are obviously the priorities for the Lakers, so it remains to be seen if they will make a move for him in the summer. Ellington is averaging 10.2 points, 2.2 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.6 3-pointers over his last five games, and he should be able to hold low-end value in most leagues for the final stretch. • DeMar DeRozan hits a few 3-pointers
DeMar DeRozan made three 3-pointers and 8-of-14 from the field for 27 points against the Bulls during a 108-92 loss on Friday with seven rebounds, three assists and two turnovers.

Advice: He's picking it up with four straight games of at least 21 points. DeRozan has also been to the line at least 10 times in each of his last three, which helps explain the scoring binge. He'll look to keep it going against the hapless Knicks on Sunday. Rotoworld.com
