    • Jordan Poole puts up 38 points, eight assists
Jordan Poole logged 44 minutes in Wednesday’s 122-119 overtime loss to the Nets, scoring 38 points (15-of-24 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs) with seven rebounds, eight assists, and five 3-pointers.

Advice: Well, it’s better late than never for fantasy managers who used a top-50 pick on Poole. With Tyus Jones (back) sidelined, he has started Washington’s last seven games at the point, which has given Poole’s fantasy value a welcome boost. Over the past two weeks, he has averaged 21.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 3.1 3-pointers per game, shooting 47.4% from the field and 95.2% from the foul line. That production has been good for 4th-round per-game value in 8-cat formats. If Poole happens to be sitting on the waiver wire in a shallow league, as he has a Yahoo rostered percentage of 89%, he needs to be picked up. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:36 pm

    • Season-best outing in overtime loss
Poole notched 38 points (15-24 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight assists and seven rebounds over 44 minutes in Wednesday's 112-119 overtime loss to Brooklyn.

Advice: Poole led all players in Wednesday's contest in threes made while posting a game-high-tying point total and ending two assists and three boards shy of a triple-double in a well-rounded performance. Poole set season high marks in scoring and rebounds, notching his eighth game of the year with five or more threes. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:12 pm

    • Mikal Bridges records 19 points, full stat line
Mikal Bridges shot 7-of-16 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Wednesday’s overtime win over Washington, amassing 19 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks, and three 3-pointers.

Advice: While Bridges has failed to reach the heights many fantasy managers hoped he would before the season began, he remains a top 100 player in 8- and 9-cat formats. However, the concern recently has been his percentages, with the durable wing shooting 38.4% from the field and 76.9% from the foul line. Add in an average of 2.6 turnovers per game, and Bridges has provided 13th-round per-game value over the past two weeks. His desire to play in every game protects Mikal’s minutes, provided he remains healthy, so fantasy managers don’t need to worry about any potential “injury management” nights. • Cam Thomas goes off for 38 points in return
Cam Thomas finished Wednesday’s 122-119 overtime win over Washington with 38 points (14-of-27 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), two rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 45 minutes.

Advice: After sitting out Monday’s win in Toronto, Thomas made up for lost time in the nation’s capital. The 38 points are the most he’s tallied in a game since February 3, when he dropped 40 on the 76ers. Given Brooklyn’s lack of explosive offensive weapons, that’s a role Thomas can fill for the remainder of the season, as evidenced by his performance against the Wizards. Due to Cam’s return, Jalen Wilson (two points on 1-of-2 shooting) was relegated to the bench and only played eight minutes. There’s no need to hold onto him as long as Thomas is healthy. • Nears 40 points in return
Thomas tallied 38 points (14-27 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), seven assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block over 45 minutes in Wednesday's 122-119 overtime win over Washington.

Advice: Thomas returned Wednesday after missing Brooklyn's previous contest due to back soreness, and he tallied a game-high-tying scoring total while posting a perfect mark from the free-throw line and ending as one of two players with five or more assists in an overtime victory. Thomas has recorded 38 or more points in four games this year, adding five or more assists in two of those contests. He has now surpassed the 30-point mark in two of his last five outings. • Won't play against Utah
Johnson (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Jazz, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Advice: Johnson has been downgraded from questionable to out Wednesday due to right knee soreness. Cedi Osman will likely receive increased playing time in his absence. Johnson's next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with the Knicks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:07 pm

    • Keldon Johnson (knee) downgraded to out Wednesday
Keldon Johnson (right knee soreness) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.

Advice: Johnson was considered a game-time call for Wednesday, and his absence will leave San Antonio without its top bench scorer. More minutes should be available for Malaki Branham, but he is not worth streaming on a 12-game night. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:03 pm

    • BKN starting Schroder, Thomas, Mikal, DFS, Claxton
The Nets will start Dennis Schroder, Cam Thomas, Mikal Bridges, Dorian Finney-Smith and Nicolas Claxton against Washington on Wednesday.

Advice: Thomas returns to the starting lineup after a one-game absence, which pushes Jalen Wilson back to the bench. Wilson held little streaming value as a starter, and he belongs on the waiver wire as a reserve. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:40 pm

    • Officially ruled out
Williams (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Lakers, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

Advice: Williams' absence streak will extend to nine games Wednesday due to a left knee injury. His next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Orlando, but the second-year forward doesn't have a return timetable, per Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal.
