    • P.J. Tucker will come off the bench Friday
P.J. Tucker will play Friday vs. the Nets, but he will come off the bench for missing the bus to shootaround.

Advice: Tucker is making upwards of $5 million this season, so perhaps he should use some of that money to invest in a watch. He may be in coach Jeff Hornacek's doghouse, but he'll play tonight, so feel free to get him in your lineups. There's a chance he returns to the starting lineup when the Suns take on the Cavs on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

    • P.J. Tucker misses team bus on Friday night
P.J. Tucker missed the team bus on Friday for the Nets game.

Advice: It's the second time he's missed the team bus this season and he could miss this entire game. Tucker has done a handful of questionable things with the team off the court and maybe he gets punished beyond tonight. We'll look for an update. Get Tucker out of your lineups because he might not play at all. Rotoworld.com

    • Avery Bradley (elbow) could rejoin team Sun.
Celtics' head coach Brad Stevens said that Avery Bradley (elbow) "felt better" Friday, and there's a chance he could rejoin the team in Orlando on Sunday.

Advice: Bradley is going to be re-evaluated on Saturday, but it sounds like even if he does join the team on Sunday, he's still unlikely to play. We'll continue to monitor this situation closely, but for as long as Bradley is sidelined, there will be more minutes for guys like Evan Turner, Jae Crowder, and Isaiah Thomas. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley will play on Friday night
Patrick Beverley (foot) will play against the Pistons on Friday.

Advice: His right foot sprain doesn't sound serious and he should be ready to considering the Rockets didn't even make him a game-time call. After a bumpy start, Beverley has looked much better in his last four, averaging 10.5 points, 4.8 boards, 4.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.5 treys. He should be owned in all standard leagues. • Mo Williams and Walker won't start together
Updating a previous report, Hornets' head coach Steve Clifford said that while the plan is to play Mo Williams and Kemba Walker (knee) a lot together, the pair will not come out starting games.

Advice: To be clear, Walker is not targeting a return until Wednesday, so Williams will remain with the starting unit for at least three more games. Gerald Henderson will then have the opportunity to remain a starter next to Walker when he does eventually return, so it appears that Lance Stephenson may be the odd man out of the rotation with both Williams and Henderson ahead of him in the pecking order. • Devin Harris (hand) will not play on Friday
Devin Harris (right hand) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Warriors.

Advice: With Harris out and J.J. Barea (thumb) questionable, Monta Ellis and Rajon Rondo could be forced into heavy minutes with Raymond Felton serving as their primary backup. Despite the increased minutes allotment, Felton remains too risky for use in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Willie Green (Achilles) out Friday vs. SAC
Willie Green (sore right Achilles' tendon) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Kings.

Advice: With Green, Evan Fournier (hip), and Luke Ridnour (hamstring) out for this one Ben Gordon will have the opportunity to jump into the rotation, although he can't be relied upon in most leagues. Victor Oladipo and Elfrid Payton are going to log some major minutes tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • Portland tries for Ray Allen
The Blazers tried to sign Ray Allen following the Wes Matthews (Achilles) injury.

Advice: In the Nick Young line of thinking, you miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take. The Blazers are really going to be leaning on Arron Afflalo and hope he can extend his mid-range game to beyond the arc. Afflalo and Matthews have a similar skill set on offense, but Afflalo has struggled this season. For what it's worth, Afflalo was terrific around the rim in his previous four seasons at 65 percent, but he's dropped to 51 percent this season. His new teammates should help him. As for Allen, he is not going to play this year. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley (knee) questionable for Sat
Jared Dudley (knee) is questionable to play against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: He has been dealing with a kneecap issue and just doesn't look right. Dudley has scored a combined 20 points in the Bucks' last seven games, missing one of those. He can be dropped in almost all leagues. If he's out, Ersan Ilyasova may get more minutes next to Khris Middleton. Rotoworld.com

    • Devin Harris is now doubtful for Friday night
Devin Harris (right hand) is doubtful to play against the Warriors on Friday.

Advice: He played 28 minutes in three of their last five games and Harris has become an underrated part of the Dallas rotation, especially with Chandler Parsons (ankle) out. Harris has played a big chunk of his minutes at shooting guard recently, which means the Mavericks might have to go with just a four-guard rotation of Monta Ellis, Rajon Rondo, J.J. Barea (thumb) and Raymond Felton because the forward rotation is already thin without Parsons. Barea is also up in the air and has only played next to Rondo for only 19 minutes in the last six games combined, so it's going to be interesting behind Ellis and Rondo. Felton probably gets the biggest increase in playing time from a percentage standpoint, but he's not worth using. Rotoworld.com

    • J.J. Barea (thumb) questionable for Friday
J.J. Barea (left thumb sprain) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Warriors.

Advice: With both Barea and Devin Harris (hand) questionable for Friday, Rajon Rondo and Monta Ellis could be forced into heavy minutes, with Raymond Felton serving as the only backup at the point guard position. We'll continue to monitor this situation closely, but if both Barea and Harris are unavailable, Ellis would be worth a plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Nick Young (knee) out Friday vs. Memphis
Nick Young (knee) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Grizzlies, as expected.

Advice: This will be Young's fifth consecutive game on the sidelines, but he is said to be targeting a return for Sunday's game vs. the Mavericks, so we'll be monitoring his status closely. With Young out, there will be more opportunities on offense for Jeremy Lin, Wayne Ellington, and Wes Johnson. Lin has been playing very well lately, but given the tough matchup tonight, those playing daily leagues may want to look elsewhere for production. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Korver working through shooting issues
Kyle Korver stated during a recent interview that he's trying to work through his recent shooting slump.

Advice: "I feel I’ve been this weird shooting – I wouldn’t say slump – but I’ve just been off for a month," said Korver. While Korver may not want to use the "slump" word, it's difficult to describe the numbers in any other way. Over the past month he has shot just 36.2 percent from the field, to go with averages of 9.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.2 assist, and 2.5 three-pointers per game. He did however shoot 50 percent from the field during his last outing, so hopefully that's a sign of things to come. We're not worried about Korver. Rotoworld.com

    • Avery Bradley (elbow) unlikely for road trip
Celtics' head coach Brad Stevens said that Avery Bradley suffered a badly sprained left elbow, and he will likely remain sidelined for Boston's upcoming three-game road trip.

Advice: Bradley isn't even traveling with the team, so this news isn't completely shocking. With Bradley sidelined, Isaiah Thomas will likely step up as the go-to guy on offense, so expect him to get a substantial boost in value. Bradley's injury will also open up more floor time for guys like Evan Turner, Jae Crowder, Jonas Jerebko, and potentially James Young. However, Isaiah remains the guy with the most upside. • James Jones earning time in Cavs' rotation
James Jones has emerged as a role player in Cleveland's rotation, and over the past four games he has put in averages 9.8 points and 2.8 three-pointers through 22 minutes of action.

Advice: Jones has seen his role increased with Shawn Marion (hip) sitting on the sidelines, but he really doesn't do much aside from drain 3-pointers. It also should be noted that his value could take a hit once Marion does return to the lineup, so while Jones is worth a look as a 3-point specialist in deep leagues, know that his time as a rotation player in Cleveland could be short-lived. • Mo Williams to remain a starter in Charlotte
Head coach Steve Clifford said that Mo Williams will remain with the starting unit upon Kemba Walker's (knee) return.

Advice: "We’re going to play them together," Clifford said. "We need to get [Walker] back as soon as we can, and then we’ll make an adjustment on the fly to play those guys together." With Williams set to remain with the starting unit, Gerald Henderson will likely head to the bench where he'll embrace a sixth man role with the team. Lance Stephenson is currently behind Henderson in the rotation, so he could find difficulty leaving the bench when Walker does return. Rotoworld.com

The x-rays taken on Devin Harris' right hand following Thursday's game vs. the Blazers came back clean, and he has been diagnosed with a bruise on the top side of his hand between the thumb and index finger.

Advice: "I was dribbling under the basket and [Robin] Lopez kind of took a whack at the ball and hit me in an awkward spot," Harris said. "There’s a little bit of pain. I can’t really move it." We'll be considering Harris on the doubtful side of the questionable tag for Friday's game against the Warriors, and if he is indeed unable to go, there will be more minutes for J.J. Devin Harris hurt his right hand on Thursday and is getting X-rays.

Advice: The injury occurred late in the game and hopefully Harris is going to be OK. If he does need to miss time, J.J. Barea and maybe Raymond Felton would get more playing time. • Dorell Wright scores eight in 13 minutes
Dorell Wright scored eight points in 13 minutes during Thursday's 94-75 win over the Mavs, adding one rebound, one assist and two 3-pointers.

Advice: With Wes Matthews (Achilles) out for the season, Wright might step up. However, we've seen this movie before with role players for Stotts. Basically, Arron Afflalo is going to step into Matthews' minutes while Wright, Alonzo Gee, C.J. McCollum and Steve Blake will get Afflalo's 27 minutes. Wright isn't worth owning in standard leagues. • Wesley Matthews suffers torn left Achilles
Wesley Matthews suffered a torn left Achilles tendon on Thursday and will miss the rest of the season.

Advice: Ugh. Matthews was leading the NBA in 3-pointers just last month and has been a big reason why the Blazers are looking for a top-four seed in the Western Conference. He has the nickname Ironman because he had a consecutive games played streak of 250 earlier in his career and now his 142 consecutive games played streak will come to an end. This is a crippling blow for Matthews who will enter free agency coming off a bad injury. We're rooting for him to be out on the court in October. Arron Afflalo should be owned in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Arron Afflalo plays 29 minutes in a victory
Arron Afflalo didn't play well against the Mavs on Thursday, making 2-of-9 from the field for six points with three rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes.

Advice: Unfortunately for the Blazers, Wesley Matthews (Achilles) is out for the season. That means Afflalo is likely looking at minutes in the 30s and he should resume Matthews' role as a floor-spacing trey man. The Blazers are second in the NBA an 3-point attempts on the season and Afflalo is a career 39 percent shooter from deep, so it makes sense for him to play big minutes. He should be owned in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • POR concerned of serious Wes Matthews injury
The Blazers are significantly concerned about the seriousness of a lower leg injury to Wesley Matthews (leg) and he will have an MRI.

Advice: It doesn't sound good. There are a lot of things that went wrong and based on the TNT report that Matthews was banging his fist on his way to the locker room suggests that the training staff gave him some bad news. Hopefully this is wrong about one of the easiest guys to root for in the NBA, but he could be out for the season. Arron Afflalo should be picked up in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Wesley Matthews (left foot) will not return
Wesley Matthews suffered a left foot injury on Thursday and will not return.

Advice: He could not put any weight on it following a non-contact injury and had the training staff help him to the locker room. It didn't look like he rolled his ankle, which means he could have suffered some sort of Achilles issue. The TNT report suggested Matthews is going to be out for some time, so go ahead and add Arron Afflalo in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Nick Young (knee) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. Memphis.

Advice: Young has said that he's targeting a return for Sunday's matchup against the Mavericks, so we'll be considering him on the doubtful side of the questionable tag for Friday's game. When he is able to return to the lineup, Jeremy Lin's value could take a hit. Rotoworld.com

Avery Bradley (left elbow strain) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Bradley isn't even traveling with the team right now, so we're going to have to consider him questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Magic as well. With Bradley sidelined, Evan Turner, Jae Crowder, and Isaiah Thomas will all have the opportunity to see extended minutes, with Thomas offering the most upside as the guy who will likely be asked to carry a heavier load on offense. Patrick Beverley (right foot sprain) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons.

Advice: Beverley just can't catch a break this season as he's become a mainstay on the injury report. We'll keep an eye on his status after Friday's shootaround, but Jason Terry, Pablo Prigioni, and Corey Brewer would all be in line for more minutes (albeit with limited fantasy value) is Beverley is unable to play on Friday. • Mo Williams stays hot in easy win over Nets
Mo Williams had 14 points, 14 assists and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Nets.

Advice: Mo-Will is averaging 21.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 9.4 assists and 3.0 3-pointers over his last five games, and has double-doubled in three straight. Kemba Walker may be coming back in a week, but the Hornets are getting great mileage out of Williams and now sit in the No. 8 spot as a potential playoff qualifier. It remains to be seen just how the Hornets use Walker when he's available, as things are going well with Williams running the point after winning three straight games. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley coming around now
Patrick Beverley made 5-of-9 from the field for 12 points against the Grizzlies on Wednesday with five boards, three assists and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: He was really struggling heading into the break, but he's coming around since he recovered from his illness last week. In his last four games, Beverley averaged 10.5 points, 4.8 boards, 4.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.5 treys. He's worth owning in standard leagues for his steals, treys and dimes. Rotoworld.com

P.J. Tucker kept it going on Wednesday with 19 points, five rebounds, three steals, a block and a 3-pointer on 7-of-10 shooting.

Advice: Tucker is hot, averaging 13.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 0.6 3-pointers while shooting 49 percent over his last five games. Yes, he's worth picking up if you have a hole to fill. Rotoworld.com

Jared Dudley will start against the Warriors on Wednesday with Ersan Ilyasova coming off the bench.

Ray Allen will not play in the 2014-15 season.

Advice: "Over the past several months, I have taken a lot of time to deliberate what is best for me," Allen said. "I’ve ultimately decided that I will not play this NBA season. I’m going to take the remainder of this season, as well as the upcoming off-season, to reassess my situation, spend time with my family and determine if I will play in the 2015-16 season." • Jared Dudley (knee) struggles in return Tues
Jared Dudley (knee) finished Tuesday's loss in Denver with two points, five boards and one assist in 20 minutes off the bench.

Advice: He shot just 1-of-6 from the field and may not be 100 percent healthy. Standard-league owners can leave him on the waiver wire as long as he's playing 20-25 minutes behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Ersan Ilyasova. Rotoworld.com

Avery Bradley made 3-of-9 shots to finish Tuesday's blowout loss with seven points, one rebound, one assist and zero steals in 24 minutes.

Advice: He's a combined 21-of-56 from the field over his past four games, a 37.5 percent mark that is doing his fantasy owners no favors. Bradley offers a trickle of boards and assists but his fantasy value is pegged to scoring, 3-pointers and steals, so an extended slump would be bad news. James Jones scored double-digit points for the third time this season on Tuesday, making 3-of-6 shots with a pair of 3-pointers to finish with 10 points.

Advice: Jones added six boards, two assists and one steal in 21 minutes, taking advantage of extra opportunities with the game firmly in Cleveland's control by halftime. Nick Young (knee) will remain sidelined for Tuesday's game vs. the Hornets and he's targeting a return on Sunday.

Advice: This will be Young's fourth consecutive game on the sidelines, and a Sunday return would cause him to miss two more games on Wednesday and Friday. While he's out there will be more opportunities on offense for Wayne Ellington, Jeremy Lin, and Wes Johnson. Rotoworld.com

P.J. Tucker scored 20 points with 14 boards, three assists and one 3-pointer against the Heat on Monday.

Advice: He crashed the boards all night and played a team-high 41 minutes tonight. Following the game, coach Jeff Hornacek said after the game that his team is "soft" and the Suns "look like a high school team." Tucker is not soft at all and those quotes suggest he is a lock for minutes in the upper 30s. He should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

Nick Young (knee) is questionable to play against the Hornets on Tuesday.

Advice: He's been out for three games with swelling in his left knee, which was a problem for him earlier this season. Jared Dudley (knee) will play against the Nuggets on Tuesday.

Advice: He missed Saturday due to some soreness in his knee cap and looks to be in the clear. Interestingly, every fantasy owner's favorite headache, Ersan Ilyasova, stepped up while Dudley was down, so that is the major fantasy implication here. While Dudley isn't worth owning, it'll be interesting to see what happens with Ghostface Ilya. Arron Afflalo scored just three points in 27 minutes vs. the Kings on Sunday, adding two boards, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He is averaging just 7.8 points, 1.8 boards, 1.0 assist and 1.2 3-pointers off the bench with his new team, and it's obvious that he vanished form the standard league radar as soon as he was traded from the Nuggets. Outside of deeper leagues, it's safe to cut Afflalo. Rotoworld.com

Mo Williams scored 23 points and dished out 11 assists to help Charlotte defeat the Magic on Sunday.

Advice: Mo Will sank 9-of-16 shots including a 4-of-7 mark beyond the arc, and he added two rebounds with only two turnovers in 38 minutes. Kemba Walker is targeting a return in mid-March but that's not guaranteed, and Williams could still carve out value while leading the second unit. Avery Bradley struggled shooting on Sunday, going 5-of-17 from the field for 12 points with four rebounds, two assists and zero 3-pointers, steals or blocks.

Advice: Bradley was busy defensively vs. the Warriors' backcourt, which may have contributed to his offensive struggles, and fantasy owners can take solace in his hefty usage rate tonight, which led all starters. Bradley is a solid rest-of-season fantasy option despite his occasionally damaging field goal percentages. Rotoworld.com

Patrick Beverley scored 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting on Sunday, with three 3-pointers, five rebounds, five assists, and three turnovers.

Advice: Beverley has struggled with his shot for much of the season, but was particularly bad during the month of February, connecting on just 28.8 percent of his shots. While we'd like to view tonight's shooting performance as a positive, it does come with a bit of an asterisk as Kyrie Irving was on the sidelines. Beverley will draw a tough matchup against the Hawks on Tuesday, so that game will be a better indicator as to whether he's finally ready to step out of his shooting slump. Rotoworld.com

    • Barea starting alongside Rondo and Ellis
J.J. Barea is starting alongside Rajon Rondo, Monta Ellis, Richard Jefferson and Dirk Nowitzki for Saturdy's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: The Mavericks are going small in order to match up better with the Nets, as they are currently starting Joe Johnson at power forward. It's going to be interesting to see how the Mavericks play with three ball-dominant guards on the court at the same time, but it's not likely to happen too often. Barea is capable of contributing a decent amount of points, assists and 3-pointers, but his value is still limited to deeper leagues for now. Bernard James started in place of Tyson Chandler (hip) on Wednesday against the Hawks and scored seven points with 11 rebounds and two blocks, but he will return to a bench role for tonight's contest. Jared Dudley (knee) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: X-rays were negative on his kneecap and he appears to be day-to-day. However, it's tough to gauge how much time he is going to miss because Dudley did have an issue with his kneecap last year. He can be dropped in most leagues. Ersan Ilyasova and Jerryd Bayless likely get most of Dudley's minutes. Ilyasova is worth a look in standard leagues and we'll let you know how he does tonight. Rotoworld.com

Nick Young (knee) will not play against the Thunder on Sunday.

Advice: He is still dealing with swelling in his knee and the fact that the Lakers ruled him out a day before the game suggests he could miss Tuesday against the Hornets. Wayne Ellngton had a great second half on Friday while Jeremy Lin is finally starting to put some good games together, averaging 16.3 points, 2.0 boards, 4.3 assists and 0.8 treys in his last four. Young can be left on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Beverley returns from his illness on Friday
Patrick Beverley (illness) returned to action in Friday's win over the Nets, scoring nine points on 3-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 34 minutes.

Advice: This is better than we thought he'd do after multiple weeks looking banged up and/or sick. We're not sure he's over his current flu right now so owners should approach him with caution, but he's probably worth a pickup if he has been dropped after a really cold stretch. Rotoworld.com

    • Arron Afflalo scores 18 points in 31 minutes
Arron Afflalo scored 18 points with two rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers against the Thunder on Friday.

Advice: The Blazers went small tonight, which explains the uptick in minutes. Afflalo is likely only going to get minutes in the mid-20s, so it's going to be tough for him to hold value in standard leagues coming off the bench. Rotoworld.com

    • Wes Matthews hurts hand, doesn't need X-ray
Wesley Matthews hurt his hand on Friday and said he doesn't need an X-ray.

Advice: The injury occurred late in the game, so he didn't have to play through it. Matthews didn't play well tonight, making 2-of-13 from the field for eight points with six rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers. He should be ready to roll for the Kings on Sunday. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley needed an X-ray on knee
Jared Dudley needed an X-ray on his knee following Friday's game.

Advice: He said he is dealing with some problems with his kneecap, which bothered him last season. Dudley hasn't played well lately and has clearly been passed by Khris Middleton. If he's out, more minutes will go to Ersan Ilyasova and Jerryd Bayless. Rotoworld.com

    • Bradley scores 19 points with three treys
Avery Bradley scored 19 points on 8-of-18 shooting (including three treys) with five rebounds, two assists and one steal in Friday's win over the Hornets.

Advice: Bradley looks great next to his pal Isaiah Thomas as he doesn't need the ball in his hands much and he's getting great looks in the flow of the offense. Yes, his recent spurt has come against a bunch of bad teams, but the Thomas bump looks real and he should be in all lineups right now. Rotoworld.com

    • Mo Williams scores 31 points with six threes
Mo Williams hit 9-of-23 shots (including six threes) for 31 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one steal over 37 minutes on Friday against the Celtics.

Advice: Williams has been a bountiful add not once but twice this season. Even when Kemba Walker returns in mid-March there should be enough food at the table for him to eat in Charlotte. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 9:49 pm
    • Nick Young officially out for Friday
Nick Young (knee) will not play against the Bucks on Friday.

Advice: He was essentially ruled out on Thursday and he is likely going to miss games. Young is in the news most of the time for leading the league in shoekeepers and keeping his right arm tattoo-free strictly for buckets. He can be left on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Pat Beverley is a go, likely on a minutes cap
Patrick Beverley (illness) will play against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: He will have a minutes limit tonight. Beverley probably won't be shooting the ball more than six times or so because he's in a slump. He's more of a stash in standard leagues until he gets it going. Jason Terry can be dropped in most leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 4:08 pm
    • James Jones starting for LeBron
James Jones will start against the Pacers on Friday.

Advice: Revenge game because he started his career with the Pacers? Kidding aside, Jones played just one minute last night and he was out of the rotation earlier this season. Fantasy owners should be looking to J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert more than Jones. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley expected to play on Friday
Patrick Beverley (illness) is expected to play against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: He hasn't been playing well these days, making 19.2 percent from the field in his last three. Beverley probably won't have a lot of shots going his way tonight and is not a great play in fantasy right now. Jason Terry also loses his luster. Rotoworld.com

    • Scott still doesn't expect Nick Young to play
Coach Byron Scott said he does not expect Nick Young (knee) to play against the Bucks on Friday.

Advice: He is technically questionable, but there has been nothing to suggest he is going to play. With Young out, we'll see more of Jeremy Lin in the second unit with Wes Johnson, Wayne Ellington and Jordan Clarkson all expected to score more, too. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley (illness) still questionable
Patrick Beverley (illness) went through the Rockets' shootaround, but he remains questionable for Friday's game vs. Brooklyn.

Advice: We'll be monitoring Beverley's status closely, but if he's forced to sit on Friday, Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni would pick up most of his minutes. Terry has picked up a majority of Beverley's playing time over the past two games, but with averages of 8.5 points, 2.0 assists, 2.5 steals, and 2.5 three-pointers during that span, his value is limited to deeper leagues. • Report: Cavs out of the running for Ray Allen
According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com, the Cavs are officially out of the running for Ray Allen.

Advice: "Ray Allen is not going to sign with the Cavs," said Windhort. "I don't think he's going to play. If he decides he wants to, it won't be with the Cavs." Wherever Allen decides to play this season, or if he decides to play this season, should be of no concern to owners in standard leagues, as he's not going to be anything more than an end-of-the-bench kind of guy on a contending roster. The Hawks, Wizards, Warriors, and Spurs remain in the conversation for Allen’s services. Rotoworld.com

    • Not Untucked: P.J. Tucker has solid game
P.J Tucker picked up big minutes against the Thunder on Thursday with 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, one block and one turnover.

Advice: He played 35 minutes and coach Jeff Hornacek put him in the unenviable position of guarding Russ Westbrook down the stretch. Tucker is racking up stats right now and he's getting consistent minutes, so he should be viewed as a must-own player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Nick Young (knee) says he will not play Fri.
Nick Young (knee) did not participate during Thursday's practice, and said that he will not play Friday vs. the Bucks.

Advice: "I don’t think it’s serious," said Lakers coach Byron Scott of Young's knee injury. "But it’s serious enough that he might miss another game or two. I know it’s getting better and the swelling is going down." If Young does indeed sit out on Friday, Wayne Ellington, Wes Johnson, and Jeremy Lin will all see some increased opportunity on offense. • Patrick Beverley (illness) practices Thursday
Patrick Beverley (illness) went through a light practice on Thursday, but he remains questionable for Friday's game against the Nets.

Advice: The Rockets kept things light on Thursday, mainly going through shooting drills, so Beverley wasn't really tested and his status is still up in the air for Friday's game. If Beverley is again forced to sit on Friday, Jason Terry would get another game with the starting unit, although he remains an unattractive option in most leagues despite the starter-tag. • Wesley Matthews bounces back with 31
Wesley Matthews, who missed all seven of his shots and scored four points on Sunday, got it back on Wednesday, hitting 11-of-18 shots and four 3-pointers for 31 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals in a win over the Spurs.

Advice: Yes! Arron Afflalo scored 10 points off the bench, and owners who were scared that Afflalo's presence would ruin Matthews should be feeling much better about things after this performance. And yes, he just went from a season low in scoring to a season high in back-to-back games, which is pretty hard for fantasy studs to do at this point in the season. Rotoworld.com

    • P.J. Tucker putting up big numbers
P.J. Tucker's hot streak continued on Wednesday with 12 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one block and five steals in 32 minutes.

Advice: He has been logging a lot of playing time at power forward now and his minutes are among the safest on the team. In his last five, Tucker averaged 14.6 points, 8.4 boards, 1.0 assists, 2.2 steals, 0.4 blocks and 1.5 treys on 47.3 percent from the field and 81.3 percent from the line. He's worth owning in standard leagues right now. Rotoworld.com

    • Mo Williams gets hot in the second half
Mo Williams scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half against the Bulls during a 98-86 win on Wednesday, adding two rebounds, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: His numbers look great in Charlotte, averaging 23.0 points, 7.5 dimes, 2.0 steals and 4.0 treys in his two previous starts. Williams is shaping up to be a must-start player in standard leagues until Kemba Walker (knee) returns next month. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Korver plays well, hits four more treys
Kyle Korver hit 6-of-12 shots and four 3-pointers for 16 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocks on Wednesday.

Advice: Korver was the best starter on the floor tonight for Atlanta and remains one of the deadliest shooters in the league. And when he's blocking shots and rebounding, he's even more fun to own. Rotoworld.com

    • J.J. Barea plays well in start for Rondo
J.J. Barea started at point guard due to Rajon Rondo's one-game suspension on Wednesday and hit 6-of-10 shots and a 3-pointer for 13 points, five rebounds and seven assists.

Advice: Devin Harris played well on Tuesday, when Rondo was benched prior to being suspended, but the Mavs like him off the bench. Any time Rondo is out, JJB is the way to go. Harris had 10 points, three rebounds and two assists on 2-of-7 shooting in just 20 minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com

    • Nick Young (knee) will not play vs. the Jazz
Nick Young (knee) will not play vs. the Jazz on Wednesday.

Advice: He is coming off a 19-point performance vs. the Celtics on Sunday, so it's a shame that he is going to have to sit this one out. The good news is that an MRI taken on his knee came back negative, but head coach Byron Scott said that Young was still dealing with some swelling. Consider Young day-to-day for now, and expect Wayne Ellington, Wes Johnson and Jeremy Lin to all see increased opportunities with Young on the shelf. Rotoworld.com

    • Devin Harris thrives in expanded role Tuesday
Devin Harris took advantage of Rajon Rondo's second-half benching on Tuesday, scoring 14 points with three rebounds, five assists and a season-high four steals in 28 minutes.

Advice: The steals tied the season-high Harris set on Sunday but his playing time was inflated by Rondo's temporary absence, and he remains a borderline option in 12-team leagues. Give him a look if your waiver wire is thread-bare and you're in need of typical PG production -- 3-pointers, assists, steals and FT percentages. Rotoworld.com

    • Tucker double-doubles in loss to BOS
P.J. Tucker double-doubled in Monday's loss, putting up 13 and 12 with two steals in 35 minutes.

Advice: Tucker hit 4-of-10 shots (no threes) from the field and all five of his free throws, building off a solid 20-point outing from Saturday. He's hard to trust, but perhaps the changes in Phoenix will break in his favor and one way or another he's worth a hard look right now. Rotoworld.com

    • Bradley goes berserk w/ 23 points, six steals
Avery Bradley scored 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting (including three treys) with four rebounds, three assists and six steals in Monday's road win over the Suns.

Advice: Bradley hit all four of his freebies for good measure. The addition of Isaiah Thomas is probably going to help him because of the point guard's ability to penetrate and find shooters on the perimeter. The two had extremely good chemistry tonight and Bradley should be owned in all formats. Rotoworld.com
