  • Trevor Ariza does a little bit of everything
Trevor Ariza was his usual multi-category self during Sunday's win over the Wizards, posting 13 points on 3-of-9 shooting (5-of-5 from the line) to go with eight rebounds, two 3-pointers, two assists, two steals and four turnovers through 38 minutes of action.

Advice: Ariza is logging heavy minutes for the Rockets on a nightly basis, and his ability to fill up every category on the stat sheet while offering elite steals totals has him turning in early-round value on the season. Get ready for him to put on a show during the Rockets upcoming four-game week. Rotoworld.com

  • James Harden scores 24 points with full line
James Harden scored 24 points on 7-of-20 shooting (9-of-10 from the line), with six assists, three rebounds, two steals, one 3-pointer, one block and three turnovers during Sunday's win over the Wizards.

Advice: Harden has been on an absolute tear through the month of March, posting ridiculous averages of 28.4 points, 7.3 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 three-pointers, 1.9 steals and 0.7 blocks while getting to the charity stripe 12.8 times per game and knocking down an impressive 86.2 percent of those attempts. He's carrying fantasy squads through the playoffs, and he'll get four games next week. Enjoy the show. Rotoworld.com

  • McHale not optimistic about Beverley's return
Kevin McHale said that Patrick Beverley (wrist) probably won't be back this season.

Advice: While an official decision has not been made on Beverley, this is the first time McHale has spoken with this degree of pessimism, so things really aren't looking good at all for Beverley. Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni will continue to man the point guard position in his absence, but neither guy is deserving of a roster spot in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Ricky Ledo inks second 10-day deal w/ Knicks
The Knicks have signed Ricky Ledo to a second 10-day contract.

Advice: Ledo has seen his minutes steadily increase playing for a Knicks squad that has been devastated by injuries. However, he doesn't shoot a good percentage (35.9 percent from the field) and his turnovers are a problem (2.6 turnovers per game), so he's still not worth owning in standard leagues. Owners in very deep leagues desperate for some points and 3-point shooting can give him a look. Rotoworld.com

  • Sean Kilpatrick will not be available Sunday
The Timberwolves did not sign Sean Kilpatrick to a second 10-day contract, so he will not be available for Sunday's game vs. New Orleans.

Advice: With Robbie Hummel and Anthony Bennett returning to the active roster today, the Wolves have lost their hardship exception, so Kilpatrick won't be back with the team. Chase Budinger and Lorenzo Brown are going to get all the run they can handle with the Wolves having very little depth on the wings. Budinger is good for some points and 3-pointers, while Brown can be viewed as a steals specialist in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Wayne Ellington will start at SG Sunday
Wayne Ellington will start at shooting guard for Sunday's game vs. the Nets with Jeremy Lin (illness) unavailable.

Advice: With Lin out today, Ellington and Jordan Clarkson are going to be forced into heavy minutes with a very favorable matchup against the Nets. Jabari Brown will also have the opportunity to log extended minutes off the bench, but Clarkson and Ellington are the guys that should be targeted in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Nate Robinson (knee) making progress
Nate Robinson's knee is making progress and he is expected to be cleared to play within the week, but the Clippers have declined to sign him for the rest of the season.

Advice: The Clippers signed Lester Hudson to a 10-day contract on Sunday, so this isn't surprising. Hopefully Robinson will land on an NBA team soon, but he is well off the fantasy radar in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Knight (ankle) questionable Sunday
Brandon Knight (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Knight went through a pretty strenuous practice on Saturday and said that he feels like his explosion is back. The Suns desperately need to beat the Thunder to stay alive in the playoff hunt, so there is a good chance that Knight gives it a go. He will likely be a game-time decision again tonight, so his owners will want to check back for an update before activating him in lineups. If Knight is unable to play, Marcus Morris will be the primary beneficiary while Archie Goodwin will see more minutes as well. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis (calf) will not play vs. Pacers
Monta Ellis (calf) has officially been ruled out of Sunday's game vs. the Pacers, and Richard Jefferson will draw the start at shooting guard.

Advice: Ellis had played in 237 consecutive games before the injury, so it's obviously a huge blow for his owners who are in the middle of fantasy playoffs. Ellis is off crutches, but he is still in a lot of pain and doesn't have a timetable to return. We will update his status once we know more, but the Mavericks will probably proceed with caution. Jefferson is worth a look in deeper leagues for owners in need of short-term value, while Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris will likely see a boost in value as well with the added responsibility on offense. • J.J. Barea (ankle) will not play on Sunday
J.J. Barea (ankle) will not be able to play vs. the Pacers on Sunday.

Advice: The Mavericks desperately could have used Barea tonight with Monta Ellis (calf) out of commission, but instead they will have to lean on Rajon Rondo, Devin Harris, Richard Jefferson and Raymond Felton. This will be Barea's fourth consecutive game on the sidelines, and considering he is still experiencing soreness in his ankle, the Mavericks won't be in a hurry to rush him back. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) will play on Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) will play on Sunday vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: Stuckey is returning from a three-game absence due to a calf strain, so it will be interesting to see how he holds up during the game. He isn't a must-own player by any means, but he is worth a look if you need help in scoring. C.J. Watson and C.J. Miles will lose some touches on offense Sunday, and their owners should expect their value to take a hit. Rotoworld.com

  • Mavericks preparing to be without Monta Ellis
The Mavericks are preparing for Sunday's game vs. the Pacers with the expectation that Monta Ellis (calf) will not be able to play.

Advice: "We're going to have to make up for his loss collectively," head coach Rick Carlisle said in regards to replacing Ellis. "You don't lose your best offensive player and have one guy who can step up and make the difference. The whole group's got to step forward. So we got our work cut out for us." Carlisle also said that they won't rush Ellis back from injury, so it's safe to say that he is probably looking at some time on the shelf. Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris will be busy in the backcourt vs. the Pacers, while J.J. Barea (ankle) is also hopeful that he will be able to return from injury Sunday. Rotoworld.com

  • Dion Waiters scores just three points in loss
Dion Waiters scored just three points on 1-of-4 shooting in a loss to the Jazz on Saturday, adding two boards, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes.

Advice: Waiters had scored in double digits in each of his last four games, so this was a frustrating line for any owners relying on him tonight. Waiters is still locked into a starting role moving forward with Andre Roberson on the shelf, and he will have a chance to bounce back vs. the Suns on Sunday. That being said, he is far from a must-own player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo scores 21 points vs. Nuggets
Arron Afflalo scored 21 points against the Nuggets on Saturday with five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer on 8-of-11 from the field.

Advice: Revenge game? Afflalo didn't really have beef with Denver, but this was a very, very overdue positive showing. His two steals and 21 points were the most he's produced in a Blazer uniform. We'll need to see it again, especially considering he's been posting some single-digit usage rates this month. • Will Barton scores 12 off the bench
Will Barton scored 12 points on 6-of-8 from the field against the Blazers on Saturday with seven boards, three assists, one steal and one block in 25 minutes.

Advice: He was known as Will the Thrill and the People's Champ in Portland as one of the fan favorites and he was quite comfortable tonight. Plus, he did the ol' inbounds pass of an opponent and was able to get an easy dunk. Barton is doing a fine job of adding multiple stats for his fantasy owners, but it's going to sting to have him on your roster because the Nuggets are off until Wednesday while tons of teams will play two games in that span. • Randy Foye scores 17 points vs. Blazers
Randy Foye scored 17 points with one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Blazers on Saturday.

Advice: He scored just 14 points combined in his previous two games, but he really turned it around. Foye has been a must-own player in standard leagues thanks to his output in treys and coach Melvin Hunt has been playing him somewhat consistently. Rotoworld.com

  • Follow the Ledo: Ricky gets 29 minutes
Ricky Ledo played a career-high 29 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday with 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He's going to get minutes and this was his third consecutive game with at least 20. Ledo may have the inside track for bench minutes right now because Cleanthony Early can't seem to show any sort of consistency. Ledo is still only worth a look in deep leagues for now. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) questionable Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: Stuckey has been in street clothes for the past three games, and the Pacers may continue to err on the side of caution on Sunday. If Stuckey is unable to play, C.J. Watson and C.J. Miles will be the primary beneficiaries and would be worth a look in daily leagues. We should have another update after shootaround Sunday. Rotoworld.com

  • J.J. Barea (ankle) questionable for Sunday
J.J. Barea (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: He has been sidelined for the past three games, but he has already said that he is hopeful to return on Sunday. Barea's presence off the bench would be crucial if Monta Ellis (calf) sits this one out, but he is still only worth a look in deeper leagues. If Barea can't go, expect Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris to log heavy minutes vs. the Pacers. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis (calf) is doubtful to play Sunday
Monta Ellis (calf) is considered very doubtful to play vs. the Pacers on Sunday according to head coach Rick Carlisle.

Advice: Ellis has played in 237 consecutive games and is easily one of the most durable players in the NBA, but it is highly unlikely that he plays. Ellis was still using crutches on Saturday and obviously isn't going to practice, but we should have another update after shootaround Sunday. Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris would be extremely busy if Ellis ends up sitting this one out, while the Mavericks are also hoping that J.J. Barea (ankle) will be able to return Sunday. For what it's worth, Ellis won't have an MRI until at least Monday when the team returns to Dallas, and while Carlisle is concerned, he doesn't expect the injury to be too serious. Rotoworld.com

  • Fisher still encouraging Ricky Ledo
Head coach Derek Fisher is still encouraging Ricky Ledo to be aggressive despite his high number of turnovers.

Advice: Ledo has turned the ball over a combined 10 times in the past two games, but Fisher acknowledged that he will have a learning curve in the NBA. "I think he’s trying to be aggressive and make plays,’’ Fisher said. "You don’t want to turn it over that many times. I don’t know if you want to dial back the aggression. We need to continue to have guys willing to get in there and try to attack and make plays. He’s still getting comfortable offensively. I don’t think it’s about reining him in, just having him understand his options in those situations." Due to injuries to Alexey Shved, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jose Calderon, Ledo will likely get another 10-day contract on Sunday and should have plenty of opportunities to improve. That being said, Ledo is only worth monitoring in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Barton double-doubles off the bench
Will Barton double-doubled off the bench on Friday, scoring 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with 10 rebounds and two assists in just 20 minutes.

Advice: Barton continues to hang onto late-round value in his low-minute role and it's enough to keep throwing kindling on the fire. If he can see some key guys ahead of him call it an early season, there is potential for him to post some really active lines. On the other hand, the Nuggets finish the fantasy playoffs with a pair of three-game weeks so that is working against him. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta (calf) left locker room on crutches
Updating an earlier item, Monta Ellis (calf) left the locker room on crutches and as we passed along earlier he will be evaluated on Saturday.

Advice: Crutches can be used as a precautionary measure but it's certainly not good to hear. Ellis is one of the toughest players in the league and doesn't miss games, but the Mavs may be able to convince him that it would be necessary in advance of the playoffs. Rajon Rondo (seven points, five boards, five assists, one steal) and Chandler Parsons (nine points, six boards, two assists, three steals, one trey) would be beneficiaries if he misses any time. • James Harden scores 33 points vs. Wolves
James Harden scored 33 points during a 120-110 win over the Wolves on Friday with four rebounds, eight assists, five steals and six 3-pointers.

Advice: He tied his season high in steals tonight and his six treys were the most he's made in a game during the second half. The Rockets were able to clinch a spot in the playoffs, but Harden may have actually lost ground in the MVP race with Stephen Curry hitting a 9.5 on the Curry-O-Meter tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis dealing with a right calf injury
Monta Ellis was kneed in the right calf and coach Rick Carlisle said he doesn't know what the extent of the injury is.

Advice: "We'll see how he feels in the morning and go from there," Carlisle said. It sounds like he's dealing with a leg contusion, which has occurred an inordinate amount of times this season. Ellis is one of the toughest dudes in the NBA, so he might not need to miss time. If he does, it'll be Devin Harris, Richard Jefferson and Chandler Parsons filling in the most for Monta. Monta Ellis suffered a right leg injury on Friday night and will not return.

Advice: He was getting looked at on the bench before going to the locker room. It's unknown what the extent of the injury is for Monta, but he's usually very durable and this is a little bit of a surprise to see he's unlikely to return. He may be re-evaluated on Saturday. Brandon Knight (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game vs. the Trail Blazers.

Advice: Knight has missed the past seven games, so if he is able to go, he'll likely have his minutes held in check, as his conditioning is likely not where it needs to be. Advice: We'll be considering Barea questionable for that one, and it'll be Devin Harris as the primary beneficiary for however long Barea is out. • Robinson (knee) may not be retained by LAC
The Clippers are reportedly waiting to see how Nate Robinson's knee is recovering before deciding whether or not to sign him for the remainder of the season.

Advice: Robinson's second 10-day contract with the club expired on Thursday, and given that the Clippers have not yet signed him, he's not going to be available for Friday's game vs. the Sixers. Through nine games with the Clippers, Robinson put in averages of 5.1 points and 2.2 assists over 14 minutes of action. His reserve minutes will likely go to Austin Rivers, and at this point, it's safe to cut Robinson in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Report: Beverley seeking 2nd opinion on wrist
Patrick Beverley is reportedly seeking to get a second opinion on the torn ligament in his left wrist to decide whether or not he will need to undergo surgery.

Advice: We'll be monitoring this situation closely, but with Beverley set to miss at least the next week of action, he belongs on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues. Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni will man the point guard position in his absence, but neither guy is really capable of doing enough on the stat sheet to be considered a viable option in standard leagues. Suns' head coach Jeff Hornacek said he is hopeful that Brandon Knight (ankle) will be able to return to the lineup for Friday's game vs. Portland.

Advice: Knight was running sprints, and played some one-on-one during Thursday's practice, and the Suns are currently listing him as the dreaded game-time decision. J.J. Barea (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Spurs.

Advice: With Barea unavailable, Devin Harris will have the opportunity for some extended minutes. Harris is averaging 8.9 points, 2.1 assists, 1.1 three-pointers and 0.8 steals per game through the month of March, so his value is limited to deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Patrick Beverley (wrist) out Friday vs. MIN
Patrick Beverley (wrist) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Timberwolves, as expected.

Advice: Beverley is dealing with a torn ligament in his wrist, and his fantasy season is likely over. Jason Terry slotted into the starting point guard spot on Wednesday, but he only managed to put up two points, two rebounds, three assists, and four turnovers through 27 minutes of action, so he's not a great guy to own in standard leagues. James Harden is going to be the primary ball handler with Beverley out, so he stands to gain the most in Beverley’s absence. • Rodney Stuckey (calf) out Thursday vs. MIL
Rodney Stuckey (calf) has been ruled out for Thursday's game vs. the Bucks.

Advice: This will be Stuckey's second consecutive game on the sidelines (and he missed most of a third), and we'll be considering him questionable for Sunday's game vs. Dallas. C.J. Rodney Stuckey (sore left calf) listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bucks.

Advice: While the questionable tag leaves the possibility open for Stuckey to suit up, it would be a surprise to see him play after an MRI revealed a calf strain on Wednesday. If Stuckey can't play, look for C.J. Watson to be the primary fantasy beneficiary against the Bucks on Thursday. Rotoworld.com

  • Monta Ellis denies problem with Rajon Rondo
Despite reports of dissension in the Mavs' locker room, Monta Ellis said he has no problems with Rajon Rondo.

Advice: While the Rondo-Ellis pairing ranks 148 out of 149 Mavericks pairings this season, according to Basketball Reference, Ellis insists the duo can do great things together. "There’s no problem [with Rondo]," Ellis said. "Rondo is a great asset on both ends of the floor. It takes a while for the player to really get adjusted to a new system, new personalities, figuring out where guys want the ball. Dion Waiters, who was benched for the start of the second half on Tuesday, started for the Thunder on Wednesday and had 14 points, a steal and two 3-pointers on 5-of-11 shooting.

Advice: Waiters' line was actually pretty decent due to the final score of 130-91 looking more like an old-school Globetrotters' score over the Washington Generals, instead of a meeting of two of the West's better teams. With Andre Roberson down and out, Waiters should continue to get plenty of starts and run from here on out. Rotoworld.com

  • Will Barton doesn't play in the fourth
Will Barton did not play in the fourth quarter against the 76ers on Wednesday, finishing with six points, five rebounds, one block and one turnover in 22 minutes.

Advice: He wasn't the worst player on the team tonight and coach Melvin Hunt likely just went with some other guys down the stretch. It didn't work with the 76ers winning the fourth quarter 27-9, so at least Barton has that going for him. He should get some extra minutes with the Nuggets having a back-to-back set this weekend. Randy Foye played 34 minutes against the 76ers on Wednesday with five points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: If Randy Foye gets 34 minutes in the second half of the season, he's usually more like Randy Moss because he's straight cash, homey. Before missing Sunday due to an illness, he played at least 30 minutes in his previous three games. He's worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Trevor Ariza was fantastic against the Pelicans during a 95-93 win on Wednesday, making 9-of-13 from the field for 22 points with nine rebounds, five assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: That's his fourth game in his last five tries with at least four dimes and he's really stepped up as more than just a catch-and-shoot guy. In that span, Ariza averaged 15.0 points, 8.6 boards, 4.0 dimes, 1.8 steals and 2.4 treys on 55.8 percent from the field and 100 percent from the line. Wayne Ellington came off the bench and played a team-high 39 minutes, hitting 3-of-19 shots and a 3-pointer for seven points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal in Wednesday's overtime loss to Minnesota.

Advice: Ellington complied with the Lakers' wish to lose this game, but they still pulled it out in OT. Ellington has had potential all season, but has rarely come through for his owners. The minutes and shots were a lot more encouraging than the results, but he might be worth a flier if you have someone to cut. Rotoworld.com

  • Report: Pat Beverley (wrist) has ligament tear
Patrick Beverley (wrist) suffered a torn ligament in his wrist and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Advice: If he tore a ligament in his wrist, he's likely going to be out for the season and there's a good chance he'll need surgery. As for the prognosis, it could be a couple weeks or over a month. Regardless, his fantasy owners in redraft leagues almost certainly have to cut him. Jason Terry will likely start and get minutes in the 24-32 range with Pablo Prigioni backing him up. Additionally, coach Kevin McHale has used two different lineup combos in his last two games with James Harden as the point guard. Give Terry a look if you're looking for some treys and scoring. Brandon Knight (ankle) is hoping to play against the Kings on Wednesday and will likely be a game-time decision.

Advice: If Knight does play, he will likely come off the bench to keep his ankle loose. Once he does come back, Marcus Morris would lose some playing time along with guys like Archie Goodwin, T.J. Warren and A.J. Price. Knight should be stashed in all leagues with his imminent return. • Beverley set to decide on wrist in 7-10 days
Patrick Beverley (wrist) is scheduled to meet with a specialists, but a decision won't be made on his status for another 7-10 days.

Advice: There is reportedly a chance that Beverley will need a season-ending surgery on his wrist, but the Rockets will likely exhaust all other options first. Beverley's owners should probably move on at this point, but we will update his status once we know more. Jason Terry will assume the starting point guard duties for the Rockets, and he is worth picking up in deeper leagues for his 3-point shooting. Pablo Prigioni should play more too, but he isn't a reliable option in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com

An MRI revealed that Rodney Stuckey has a calf strain, and he will not be able to play vs. the Wizards on Wednesday.

Advice: This is a tough blow for the Pacers, and it's starting to look unlikely that Stuckey will be able to play on Thursday vs. the Bucks as well. C.J. Watson dropped 23 points in Stuckey's absence on Monday, and he should be considered the primary beneficiary of this news and is worth a look in daily leagues. • Will Barton would like to remain a Nugget
Will Barton is hoping to stick around with the Nuggets beyond this season.

Advice: "No doubt," Barton said. "I think we can build something here. We have a lot of good talent, a good organization, coaching staff is good. I can see us building and having a strong future here. We can grow together." The Nuggets can extend Barton a qualifying offer in the summer that estimates to be around $1.1 million, and if he accepts it would make him a restricted free agent. Barton has played well in Denver and is averaging 10.2 points, 4.6 boards, 2.2 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.0 3-pointer in just over 26 minutes per game over his last five, making him a viable asset in deeper leagues. • Monta Ellis says that he is finally healthy
Monta Ellis said after Tuesday's game vs. the Spurs that he has battled several injuries all season, but he is finally healthy and is ready to make some noise down the stretch.

Advice: "I've been battling injuries all season," Ellis said. "The last few days, my body has been feeling good and tonight I'll sleep real good. I went and worked out last night for at least two and a half hours. I wanted to come in tonight and give my team a lift that they have been looking for." Ellis exploded for 38 points vs. the Spurs Tuesday after being held to just 11 points on 4-of-22 shooting vs. the Suns on Sunday, so hopefully this is a sign that his slump is over. There have been some reports that Ellis has created some unrest in the Mavericks' locker room, but a couple of wins will likely give everyone in Dallas a solid morale boost. Rotoworld.com

Monta Ellis bounced back after a disastrous game on Sunday, finishing Tuesday's impressive win vs. the Spurs with 38 points on 16-of-27 shooting with two 3-pointers, five assists and two steals.

Advice: He shot a combined 7-of-31 in his previous two contests and almost single-handedly lost Sunday's game vs. the Suns, so it was a relief to see him score three quick buckets to get himself rolling tonight. The 29-year-old Ellis hasn't missed a game all season, which is remarkable given how much contact he takes every night, and he's rewarding 8-cat owners with top-40 value. Rotoworld.com

Wayne Ellington scored 15 points off L.A.'s bench on Tuesday, making 6-of-14 FGs with three 3-pointers, three boards, two assists, one steal and zero turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: Ellington was a drag on standard-league rosters even while starting, returning positive value in just one category (3-pointers), so his benching may seal his fate as a waiver wire regular. Don't hesitate to cut him for a free agent with more upside. Rotoworld.com

Dion Waiters was benched to start the second half of Tuesday's game, but he got hot offensively and finished with 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting, two 3-pointers, four rebounds, four assists and only one turnover in 35 minutes.

Advice: Anthony Morrow took Waiters' spot with the starters and remains the more valuable fantasy option, regardless of where he begins Wednesday's game in San Antonio. Waiters has been hot offensively over his past few games, however, and is worth plugging into lineup until he cools off. OKC is starting to gain some breathing room as the No. 8 seed in the West, pulling two games ahead of the idle Suns with tonight's 127-117 home win. Rotoworld.com

  • Patrick Beverley might be out for the season?
Patrick Beverley could potentially have a season-ending surgery on his wrist, but a final decision will be made on Wednesday morning after he goes through another evaluation.

Advice: The Rockets want to know if there is any risk of further damage before proceeding with the surgery, so there is some hope that Beverley's season might not be over just yet. However, Beverley's wrist has clearly limited him for a while now, so it's going to be an issue moving forward regardless. Beverley's owners can feel free to hang tight until we know more on Wednesday, but they should start looking for a backup plan. Advice: If Foye is able to go on Wednesday, he'll likely cut into the minutes of Jameer Nelson (hip) and Will Barton, while Garry Harris may fall out of the rotation entirely. Foye has played very well since the All-Star break with averages of 11.3 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.4 three-pointers per game, and he's well worth owning in standard leagues for his ability to light up the 3-point category. Advice: Beverley is currently headed back to Houston to undergo further evaluation what they are currently calling a sprained left wrist, and for now, we'll be considering him doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans. If Beverley is forced into an extended absence, Jason Terry would likely slide into the starting lineup, while Pablo Prigioni would have the opportunity to log some extended minutes. James Harden took over against the Pacers during a 110-100 win on Monday, scoring 44 points on 10-of-21 from the field and 21-of-22 from the line with four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, two blocks and three 3-pointers.

Advice: It's his league-leading eighth game with at least 40 points to pass Russell Westbrook with seven. Harden is also the first player this season to score at least 40 points while making 10 or less field goals in a game. It's also his second game with more than 20 free throw makes in a game this season -- no other player has one of those games this season. He lost a little ground for MVP on Saturday, but he regained most of that ground tonight. His fantasy owners are going to love having him for a four-game run this week. Rotoworld.com

  • Trevor Ariza scores four with 11 boards
Trevor Ariza made 1-of-2 from the field for four points with 11 rebounds, one assist and two steals in 32 minutes against the Pacers on Monday.

Advice: It was a big surprise to see him not take many shots with his improved shooting lately, making 50.0 percent from the field in his last five. Ariza will likely get it going again soon and should be a mid-round player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Ricky Ledo played just nine minutes on Monday and had only one rebound to his stat line.

Advice: Ledo certainly looked lost out there and wasn't thrown into the fire with Alexey Shved (ribs) like many had hoped for. Look for the Knicks to slowly step up his minutes and he should be watched closely down the stretch. Shved could return as soon as Wednesday's game. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) will not play Monday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) will not play against the Rockets on Monday.

This sounds like a complete cop out in an effort to make Ellis the fall guy for the Mavs struggles, and that's a bad look all the way around. Advice: Randy Foye was out with a stomach illness, setting up Barton for a solid game but instead he played only 25 minutes, much of which came during garbage time. Advice: This news breaks an hour before tip-off, giving owners a short window to plug in a replacement guard. Will Barton and Gary Harris should gain the most in his absence, with Harris a likely starter. Foye has been terrific in a starting role lately, averaging 18.3 points and 3.7 triples over his past three games, so this is a tough break for fantasy owners relying on him in a playoff matchup. James Harden cooled off from his huge Thursday night with just 16 points on Saturday during a 117-102 loss to the Suns, adding two rebounds, five assists and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes.

Advice: He only attempted five shots from the line and the Suns wouldn't let him in the lane nearly as much as usual. Harden also didn't play well on defense in what may have been his worst game since the break. His fantasy owners will obviously forgive him and should have high hopes for his production in a four-game week. Rotoworld.com

Rodney Stuckey is dealing with a sore left calf and will not return to Saturday's game against the Nets.

Advice: He hasn't had any noteworthy calf issues since 2009, so maybe it's a new injury or something stemming from his ankle problems from earlier this month. With Stuckey out, C.J. Head coach Byron Scott said that the Lakers will "absolutely" consider re-signing Wayne Ellington this offseason.

Advice: "He made himself a valuable part of this team," Scott said. "We don’t know what next year holds. But he has shown 30 teams he knows how to play the game." Ellington has made strides on the defensive end this season and is much more versatile on offense, so it makes sense for the Lakers to retain him. Free agency and the draft are obviously the priorities for the Lakers, so it remains to be seen if they will make a move for him in the summer. I think with playing time he will get better and better and could be a steal for the Knicks.’’ Ledo has an excellent opportunity to carve out a role on the lowly Knicks, and he still has a lot of potential. Advice: If Waiters is going to get this much playing time then he might be worth a look, but chances are that Enes Kanter will return to steal some touches and cap off any theoretic upside that Waiters might have. Arron Afflalo didn't play well against one of his former teams in Orlando on Friday with seven points, three rebounds and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.

Afflalo doesn't have a single steal in any of his last five games, averaging 13.2 points, 2.6 boards, 0.2 blocks and 2.6 treys on 42.6 percent from the field in that span. Knicks' head coach Derek Fisher said that Ricky Ledo will have the opportunity to become a rotation player for the Knicks this season.

Advice: "[Ledo's] here with us now. I’ll only be able to base my opinion on what he can do here. He just hasn’t gotten the chance. He’ll get the chance here," said Fisher. Ledo picked up a DNP-CD during Thursday's game against the Timberwolves, but Phil Jackson likes big guards, and at 6-foot-7, Ledo fits the description. He'll have to earn his minutes in New York, but with his competition going by the names of Shane Larkin and Langston Galloway, it'll be now or never for Ledo. Randy Foye was aggressive against the Rockets on Thursday with 23 points, two rebounds, six assists, one steal and five 3-pointers on 9-of-19 from the field.

Advice: He rested on Sunday and scored 16 points on Monday while others were resting, so there's a chance Foye rests on Friday at Miami. It's tough to project what the Nuggets are going to do, but the coaches and the players voicing their displeasure make it less likely they rest guys. If Foye plays on Friday, he should be starting in most formats. Rotoworld.com

  • Will Barton slows down on Thursday
Will Barton scored just three points with five rebounds, one steal and two turnovers on 1-of-6 from the field in 19 minutes against the Rockets on Thursday.

Advice: That's two really bad games in a row following his 1-of-5 from the field on Monday. Barton had a 25-point game on Sunday and his value is going to be a roller coaster going forward. The Nuggets are on the second half of a road-road back-to-back on Friday, so maybe the front offices rests guys again like they did on Monday. He's not a must-own player, but there is some reward to go with the risk, obviously. Rotoworld.com

  • James Harden scores career-high 50 points
James Harden scored a career-high 50 points against the Nuggets during a 118-108 win on Thursday, making 12-of-27 from the field and 22-of-25 from the line with 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He's just the fourth player to score 50 on 12 or less field goals in NBA history and is just the third player since 1985-86 to score at least 50 points on less than 45 percent from the field (Kobe Bryant three times and Kevin Durant once). Harden is also the first guard since 2009 to put up 50 points with double-digit rebounds (Dwyane Wade). The Beard added another game to his resume on his case for MVP tonight and has helped the Rockets get to within one game of catching the Grizzlies for the No. 2 seed. Rotoworld.com

  • Ricky Ledo gets a DNP-CD
Ricky Ledo was a DNP-CD on Thursday.

Advice: He's apparently only on the team as an emergency guy. Ledo loves to be the guy making the plays for the Knicks and doesn't really share the ball, so maybe he'll have impress his coach before he gets some run. Rotoworld.com

  • Sean Kilpatrick will be available Thursday
Sean Kilpatrick will be available for Thursday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Flip Saunders said that he decided to give Kilpatrick a 10-day deal with the club simply because he was within driving distance for tonight's game. NBA teams are required to have at least eight eligible players on the roster, and Kilpatrick will be that eighth body. He may be able to get into the rotation tonight with Minnesota so thin, but he's not likely to get enough minutes to matter in most leagues. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

  • Ricky Ledo will be available Thursday vs. MIN
Ricky Ledo will be available for Thursday's game vs. the Timberwolves, but head coach Derek Fisher would not commit to whether or not he will play.

Advice: This is a situation that should be avoided in standard leagues. Ledo may or may not be able to carve out a role with the Knicks, but for now, owners can watch this situation develop from the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com

  • Sean Kilpatrick inks 10-day deal w/ Minnesota
The Timberwolves have signed G Sean Kilpatrick to a 10-day contract.

Advice: Kilpatrick was signed under the hardship roster exception, and he'll add some emergency depth to the Timberwolves' backcourt. However, he's unlikely to get meaningful minutes right out the gate, so he can remain on the waiver wire in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Knicks sign G Ricky Ledo
    Knicks sign G Ricky Ledo.

Advice: Ledo will join the Knicks on a 10-day deal as the 15th man on their roster. While Ledo can largely be ignored in standard fantasy leagues, he may see some time for the injury-depleted Knicks and is worth consideration in deeper fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com
