  • P.J. Tucker scores 16 points in 46 minutes
P.J. Tucker scored 16 points with five rebounds, two assists, five steals and two turnovers in 46 minutes against the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: He always gets huge minutes when the Suns go up against an elite wing like Kevin Durant. Tucker could be traded next week, but he's played well enough to own in all leagues right now. A trade would obviously cripple his value. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:05 pm
  • Archie Goodwin scores 20 points in loss
Archie Goodwin scored 20 points with four rebounds, seven assists and two turnovers against the Thunder on Monday night.

Advice: Coach Earl Watson said after the game he thought Goodwin had a "solid" effort and he really liked that Goodwin only had two turnovers. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Brandon Knight comes back, but Goodwin should still be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:02 pm
  • Allen Crabbe scores 13 points
Allen Crabbe (illness) returned from a two-game absence on Monday against the Grizzlies with 13 points, four rebounds, three steals, one block and one turnover in 21 minutes.

Advice: He picked up where he left off with a very nice line. Crabbe has been cruising along with mid-round value in his last 10, so he is worth a hold in standard leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:43 pm
  • Gerald Henderson scores 16 points
Gerald Henderson scored 16 points with three rebounds, one assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Advice: He played some important minutes as both teams went small. The Blazers are likely going to try and unload Henderson and his expiring contract, especially since guys like Allen Crabbe have stepped. He's only worth a look in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:38 pm
  • Andrew Wiggins scores 15 points in loss
Andrew Wiggins scored 15 points on 5-of-14 shooting with two assists and two blocks in a loss to the Pelicans on Monday.

Advice: This was his fourth game of the season without a rebound, but he does have at least two blocks in three out of his last four games. Wiggins had two 30-point games last week and is still trending up, so hopefully he can recapture some of that momentum on Wednesday vs. the Raptors. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:27 pm
  • Tony Allen plays 39 minutes in loss
Tony Allen played 39 minutes against the Blazers on Monday with eight points, seven rebounds, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He'll be playing more if Marc Gasol (foot) needs to miss time. Allen hasn't been very good with just 14th-round value in his last 10, but the bump in playing time should push him to close to a top-100 player. He's only a speculative add now, but would be a nice pickup if Gasol is ruled out. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:25 pm
  • Zach LaVine scores 12 points in loss
Zach LaVine scored 12 points with two boards, two assists, one 3-pointer and three blocks on Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: The blocks were obviously a career high and he didn't record more than one block in a game this season prior to tonight. LaVine was 4-of-10 from the field in the loss and didn't have any turnovers, so his fantasy arrow is still pointing up. As the year progresses, his role should only grow. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:22 pm
  • Matt Barnes scores just five in loss
Matt Barnes scored five points with two rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes against the Blazers on Monday.

Advice: If Jeff Green gets big minutes at power forward, that should open up some minutes for Barnes at the three. He's not going to put up eye-popping stat lines, but Green's across-the-board output makes him someone worth owning in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:19 pm
  • Shabazz Muhammad scores 14 points in loss
Shabazz Muhammad scored 14 points with nine boards and one assist in 25 minutes vs. the Pelicans on Monday.

Advice: He took advantage of some extra minutes in garbage time, but unfortunately he shot just 4-of-13 from the field. Muhammad should continue to steal some of Tayshaun Prince's minutes (19) moving forward since the Wolves are looking towards the future, but he's a better stash in points leagues because he doesn't shoot many 3-pointers or generate many assists, steals or blocks. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:18 pm
  • Norris Cole scores 10 points in win
Norris Cole scored 10 points with six assists, three boards and one turnover in 32 minutes vs. the Wolves on Monday.

Advice: Coach Alvin Gentry seems to love Cole and he has played 30 or more minutes in seven out of his last eight games. He had a 26-point game in his last outing with five assists, so he is worth owning in standard leagues until he cools off or until the Pelicans get some healthy bodies back. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:07 pm
  • Mario Hezonja scores 14 points in 32 minutes
Mario Hezonja scored 14 points with nine rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Hawks on Monday.

Advice: It was a little surprising to see him only play 14 minutes on Sunday, but Mario picked up his second game with more than 30 minutes tonight. Tobias Harris (ankle) could be back for Wednesday, so Hezonja is only a 16-team asset right now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:52 pm
  • Victor Oladipo scores nine in win
Victor Oladipo scored nine points with four rebounds, eight assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes against the Hawks on Monday.

Advice: He went to the locker room after being hit in the face, but he returned and looked fine. Oladipo has a couple face injuries in his career, including a fracture last year to start the season. He'll be fine for Wednesday and is playing well right now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:44 pm
  • Darrun Hilliard scores 13 points in loss
Darrun Hilliard scored a career-high 13 points vs. the Raptors on Monday.

Advice: He was 6-of-12 from the field and added one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes. He played 21 minutes on Saturday vs. the Pacers and is clearly benefitting from the injury to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (groin). However, KCP is expected to return right after the All-Star break, so there's no reason to look Hilliard's way in standard formats. It's nice to see him getting some run, though. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:25 pm
  • DeMar DeRozan scores 17 points in win
DeMar DeRozan scored 17 points with seven boards, six assists, one steal and four turnovers in a win over the Pistons on Monday.

Advice: He couldn't find his shot and was just 5-of-14 from the field, but the dimes were nice. DeRozan was hot coming into this one and had scored an average of 26.0 points in his previous five games, so his owners have absolutely no reason to be concerned. DeRozan will look to get his shooting touch back on track during Wednesday's game vs. the Wolves. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:06 pm
  • E'Twaun Moore scores 12 points
E'Twaun Moore scored 12 points during a 108-91 loss to the Hornets on Monday, adding three rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Advice: He was basically the second option in the first unit with Derrick Rose (soreness) and Jimmy Butler (knee) out for tonight. Moore likely only has one more chance to put up a big game on Wednesday, so he's not the greatest fantasy add unless you're dropping dead weight. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:39 pm
  • Allen Crabbe (illness) is available Monday
Allen Crabbe (illness) is available for Monday's game vs. the Grizzlies.

Advice: He didn't play on Saturday vs. the Rockets, but he must be feeling better and will likely see close to his normal workload on Monday. If the Blazers decide to limit his minutes as a precaution, Gerald Henderson would benefit. Crabbe is worth a look if you need points and treys. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:34 pm
  • Ben McLemore (wrist) ruled out Monday
Ben McLemore (wrist) will not play on Monday vs. the Cavaliers.

Advice: He was listed as doubtful, so he probably won't play against the 76ers on Wednesday either. With McLemore on the shelf, Marco Belinelli will draw another start and is worth a look if you need 3-pointers. Belinelli has scored in double digits in each of his last four games. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:06 pm
  • Reggie Bullock will play with a mask
Reggie Bullock will play on Monday with a mask.

Advice: He suffered a broken nose over the weekend and it shouldn't affect his playing time. He's currently behind Darrun Hillard and Stanley Johnson for shooting guard minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:01 pm
  • Karasev not playing on Monday.
Sergey Karasev (illness) will not play on Monday against the Nuggets.

Advice: He's not in the rotation anyway. Leave Karasev on the wire. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:57 pm
  • Jerryd Bayless (ankle) is probable
Jerryd Bayless (ankle) is probable for Tuesday against the Celtics.

Advice: He suffered a minor tweak over the weekend and should be good to go. Bayless will back up Michael Carter-Williams and is only a low-end stash with MCW possibly being traded. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:54 pm
  • Matt Dellavedova likely out through break
Matt Dellavedova (hamstring) is out Monday and is unlikely for Wednesday.

Advice: The Cavs will allow him to rest through the break. With Dellavedova out, Mo Williams should get minutes as Kyrie Irving's backup. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:26 pm
  • Martin, Garnett and Pekovic out on Monday
Kevin Martin (wrist), Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and Kevin Garnett (knee) will not play against the Pelicans on Monday

Advice: He is probably out through the break, but other teams may want to see Martin get out there on the court before trading for him. Martin is not worth stashing in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:35 pm
    Injured

  • Ben McLemore (wrist) doubtful for Mon. night
Ben McLemore (wrist) is doubtful for Monday's game vs. Cleveland.

Advice: McLemore has really fallen out of favor, and he's not going to play on Monday. Marco Belinelli and Darren Collison will get more run against LeBron James and Co. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:54 am
  • O.J. Mayo expected to return on Tuesday night
O.J. Mayo (sore left hamstring) is expected to make his return on Tuesday vs. Boston.

Advice: This confirms an earlier report, and all signs point to the veteran guard finally getting back on the floor. Following an 11-game absence, expect Mayo to be eased back into action. With Mayo and Jerryd Bayless once again in the mix, those with Michael Carter-Williams on the roster should be paying very close attention to the minutes distribution in Milwaukee. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:27 am
  • Ronnie Price (toe) still out for the Suns
Ronnie Price (toe) remains sidelined for the Suns.

Advice: Price was originally targeting a return this week, but it seems like the earliest we'll see him again is in late February. He's not a fantasy option in any league, regardless of size or format. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:24 am
    Injured

  • Jimmy Butler (knee) feeling 'a lot better'
Jimmy Butler (knee) is feeling "a lot better," but there is still no timetable for his return.

Advice: Butler will not play on Monday and is extremely doubtful to return on Wednesday vs. the Hawks, leaving his status for Sunday's All-Star Game up in the air. The good news: It sounds like Butler has a very real chance of resuming fantasy production on the other side of the break, so those with Jimmy on the roster just have to sit tight for now. In the interim, E'Twaun Moore, Tony Snell, Doug McDermott and Mike Dunleavy will all be in the mix for extra run. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:45 am
    Out

  • Matthew Dellavedova out again on Monday night
Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) will not play on Monday vs. Sacramento.

Advice: Delly's absence means Mo Williams will continue to remain in the rotation, but only as a backup to a healthy Kyrie Irving. Leave Williams on the waiver wire in your fantasy league. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:19 am
  • Lance Thomas (concussion) could return Tues.
Lance Thomas (concussion) could return on Tuesday vs. the Wizards.

Advice: He might, he might not. Either way, Thomas isn't a fantasy option with Carmelo Anthony (knee), Langston Galloway and Derrick Williams all available. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:54 am
  • Jimmy Butler (knee) out Monday, doubtful Wed
Jimmy Butler (strained knee) will not play Monday and he will "likely" miss Wednesday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: Butler met with a team physician on Sunday but the Bulls have not provided an update on his status, and it's unclear whether he'll suit up for the All-Star game. Barring a positive update after Monday's shootaround, owners in weekly leagues should keep Butler on their benches heading into the break. E'Twaun Moore had 17 points, three 3-pointers and seven assists as a starter on Saturday, and he's worth a look as a punt play in DFS. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 5:21 pm

  • Victor Oladipo scores 19 on 9-of-13 shooting
Victor Oladipo drained 9-of-13 shots during Sunday's win over the Hawks, on his way to 19 points, five boards, three assists, one 3-pointer, one steal, one block and three turnovers in 44 minutes of action.

Advice: Oladipo has been scorching through the month of February, owning averages of 23.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.5 three-pointers, 2.0 steals, 0.5 swats and 2.8 turnovers per game on 55.0 percent shooting from the field and 95.5 percent from the stripe. That's been good enough for top-8 value in standard leagues, and while he's not likely to be this hot for the remainder of the year, he should have no trouble putting up early-round value as long as he's in the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 1:41 pm
  • Kevin Martin (wrist) questionable for Monday
Kevin Martin (wrist) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Martin has spent the past six games on the sidelines, but perhaps the Timberwolves will look to showcase him against a team that could really use a two-guard. If he plays, he'll cut into Zach LaVine's minutes. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 12:09 pm
    Injured

  • Allen Crabbe (illness) questionable Monday
Allen Crabbe (illness) is questionable to play Monday vs. Memphis.

Advice: Crabbe is dealing with a stomach bug, and if he can't give it a go on Monday, it'll be Gerald Henderson and Moe Harkless picking up some extended run. Check back for another update on Crabbe following Monday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:58 am
  • Ben McLemore (wrist) will not play Sunday
Ben McLemore (wrist) will not play on Sunday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: He was listed as doubtful and never really had a shot at seeing the court today. Marco Belinelli will benefit the most, while James Anderson and Darren Collison will see a few more minutes as well. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:58 am
  • Lance Thomas (concussion) out Sunday
Lance Thomas (concussion) will not play on Sunday vs. the Nuggets as expected.

Advice: He was never expected to play and still has to pass the league's concussion protocol. His next chance to play will be on Tuesday vs. the Wizards. Langston Galloway will continue to see a few extra minutes in Thomas' absence. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:27 am
  • Damian Lillard praises Gerald Henderson
Damian Lillard attributes Gerald Henderson's recent success to him being healthy.

Advice: "I think he's just healthy," Lillard said. "He was coming off hip surgery, so it took some time for him to get in shape. He missed training camp. He had to get in shape, he had to get his rhythm back, he had to get his feel back, get comfortable with our sets, comfortable being out there with the guys. I think the last couple of weeks, you're starting to see him get comfortable. He's finally back." Henderson is averaging 13.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in February, but his expiring contract could draw some interest at the trade deadline. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:13 am
  • Archie Goodwin scores 14 points in loss
Archie Goodwin scored 14 points with six boards, three assists, one block and one 3-pointer in Saturday's loss to the Jazz.

Advice: He unfortunately had more turnovers (4) than assists for the third time in his last five games, but to be fair Goodwin is still learning how to be a point guard. Brandon Knight (groin) will be sidelined through the All-Star break and possibly more, so Goodwin is still worth holding onto if you don't mind the heavy turnovers. It also helps that Knight is a potential shut-down candidate with the Suns playing for ping pong balls. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:39 pm
  • P.J. Tucker goes scoreless in 38 minutes
P.J. Tucker failed to score in 38 minutes vs. the Jazz on Saturday, missing all three of his shots from the field.

Advice: Tucker recently said that he is hopeful that the Suns will not trade him at the deadline, so he certainly didn't boost his stock with this performance. The swingman added just four assists and one board to his name with a couple of turnovers, but he does have enough upside to warrant a hold in standard leagues for any owner in need of 3-pointers, boards and steals. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:28 pm
  • Jimmy Butler returned to action on Friday February 5. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:55 pm
    Out

  • E'Twaun Moore scores 17 points
E'Twaun Moore scored 17 points with two rebounds, seven assists and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Wolves on Saturday.

Advice: He's playing his best ball in a very long time. Moore looks like he's the beneficiary of Jimmy Butler (knee) missing time, but he hasn't been consistent and Butler could be back after the break. Unless you have dead weight, there's no need to be aggressive on Moore. Although, if you have Butler and need insurance, he's worth a look in 16-team leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:49 pm
  • Matt Barnes double-doubles in loss
Matt Barnes posted a double-double on Saturday vs. the Mavericks, scoring 17 points with 11 rebounds, five assists, one block and five 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: Wow. He just returned from a hamstring injury on Friday vs. the Knicks, so the fact that he was able to log 36 minutes in the overtime loss is a really good sign. Barnes is still flirting with top-80 value on the season, so he needs to be owned in standard leagues after a performance like this one. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:42 pm
  • Norris Cole gets hot, scores 26 points
Norris Cole scored a career-high 26 points with two rebounds, five assists, one steal, five turnovers and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday.

Advice: He started the second half on fire with 12 points in the first three minutes of the third quarter. Cole is up and down, but he's played well in most of the games since Tyreke Evans (knee) went down. With Tyreke out for at least this week, holding Cole in standard leagues makes sense. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:42 pm
  • Martin, Pekovic and Garnett out Saturday
Kevin Martin (wrist), Kevin Garnett (knee) and Nikola Pekovic (foot, ankle) will not play on Saturday against the Bulls.

Advice: These guys are not close to a return. Martin may have played his last minutes with the Wolves as the trade deadline approaches. Zach LaVine will get close to 30 minutes tonight and is worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:36 pm
    Injured

  • Jimmy Butler (knee) did not suffer tear
Jimmy Butler (left knee) was diagnosed with a knee strain and did not suffer damage to his ligaments.

Advice: This is great news, but he is out Friday and Saturday. The diagnosis of a strain means it's something muscle related or it could be something with a tendon near his joint. Butler doesn't have a timetable to return, but it looks like he at least has a chance to be back this month. This may hurt his chance to play in the All-Star Game. Mike Dunleavy (back) should benefit while E'Twaun Moore and Tony Snell could help out. Derrick Rose will be very busy, too. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:10 pm
    Out

  • Matt Dellavedova out again on Saturday
Matt Dellavedova (hamstring) will not play against the Pelicans on Saturday.

Advice: His hamstring issue has been a problem for two weeks and the Cavs may rest him until the break. Mo Williams will be in the rotation again while this news also helps Iman Shumpert because of no Kevin Love. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 2:55 pm
  • Ben McLemore doubtful for Sunday
Ben McLemore (wrist) is doubtful to play against the Celtics on Sunday.

Advice: He only played 12 minutes in his return from a wrist injury on Friday, so maybe his wrist injury wasn't healed all the way. Assuming Darren Collison's minor knee issue is fine, he should benefit the most along with Marco Belinelli in the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 1:49 pm
  • Allen Crabbe (illness) out against Rockets
Allen Crabbe (illness) will miss Saturday's game against the Rockets.

Advice: He showed up at the arena with an illness and he is officially inactive. That should mean more minutes for Gerald Henderson and Moe Harkless. If you have Crabbe in your DFS lineup, you might need to swap him out. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 1:08 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (knee) ruled out Saturday
Jimmy Butler (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. the Wolves.

Advice: He is reportedly dealing with a hyperextended left knee, but the Bulls still haven't released the results of his MRI. Until then, he should be considered day-to-day. Derrick Rose, Tony Snell and E'Twaun Moore will all have to step up in Butler's absence. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:19 am
    Out

  • Martin, Garnett and Pekovic are all doubtful
Kevin Martin (wrist), Kevin Garnett and Nikola Pekovic (foot) are all doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Bulls.

Advice: To be clear, none of them will play and the Wolves should've just listed them as out. Martin may not play again until the trade deadline, and by that by point he might be wearing a different uniform. He's not worth stashing in most leagues, while Zach LaVine will continue to benefit in his absence. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:34 am
    Injured

  • P.J. Tucker doesn't want a trade
P.J. Tucker is hopeful that the Suns will not trade him.

Advice: "I love being in Phoenix," Tucker said. "It’s been my longest stop of my career and hopefully it continues." Tucker is on the last year of his deal and the Suns are tanking, so he should draw plenty of interest prior to the Feb. 18 trade deadline. The Raptors have been linked with the swingman, but a move to Toronto would be bad news for his fantasy value. To be clear, nothing is imminent. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:51 am
  • Jerryd Bayless scores 15 points
Jerryd Bayless scored 15 points with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and five 3-pointers in 25 minutes against the Jazz on Friday.

Advice: He scored all 15 points in the first half and disappeared after that. Bayless does have some stash appeal with some trade rumors popping up on Michael Carter-Williams, but it's only for deeper leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:16 pm
  • E'Twaun Moore scores eight points
E'Twaun Moore scored eight points with three rebounds and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Nuggets during a 115-110 loss on Friday.

Advice: He went bonkers with 24 points, but he didn't step up with Jimmy Butler (knee) going down. With Mike Dunleavy (back) set to return, fantasy owners can take a wait-and-see approach on Moore. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:59 pm
  • Report: Jimmy Butler hyperextended left knee?
Jimmy Butler reportedly hyperextended his left knee, and while he'll likely sit out Saturday's game vs. the Timberwolves there's a chance he can play Monday vs. Charlotte or Wednesday vs. Atlanta.

Advice: Butler is going to get an MRI on Saturday morning, but this report is great news if it turns out to be true. Owners can expect another update tomorrow morning, but with Jimmy likely sidelined on Saturday, Tony Snell figures to enter the starting five with E'Twuan Moore seeing some increased opportunity on offense. Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol (hand) will be busy on offense for however long Jimmy Buckets is out. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:41 pm

  • Matt Barnes returns, scores 12
Matt Barnes (hamstring) returned during a 91-85 win over the Knicks on Friday with 12 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: It was his first game at MSG since the Derek Fisher drama. In true Barnes fashion, he did some warming up on the Knicks side of the court before the game -- this was before other Knicks came out. Barnes should be able to flirt with top-100 value with his fantasy-friendly game. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:29 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (knee) will have an MRI on Sat
Fred Hoiberg said that Jimmy Butler will have an MRI on his sprained left knee on Saturday, and added that the Bulls will need to prepare to play without Butler "for a while no matter what."

Advice: Hoiberg did say that the ligaments in Butler's left knee are "intact," but Jimmy said he heard a "pop" in his knee and it would be shocking to see him suit up for Saturday's game in Minnesota. Butler exited the arena on crutches and could be looking at a potentially looking at a lengthy absence, so E'Twaun Moore is someone to consider as a speculative add in deep leagues, while more minutes will be falling to guys like Doug McDermott and Tony Snell. Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol (hand) will be doing the heavy lifting on offense for however long Butler is out. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:09 pm

  • McLemore has another bad game
Ben McLemore scored five points with two assists and one steal in 12 minutes against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: He is losing playing time and it's not because of his wrist injury. Unless the Kings really start unloading players, McLemore can be ignored in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:50 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (left knee) will not return Fri
Jimmy Butler (left knee sprain) will not return to Friday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Butler was carted off the court, although he was able to walk from the X-ray room to the locker room under his own power, and was in relatively good spirits saying, "Ya'll get me the Forrest Gump knee brace!" Butler is likely headed for an MRI, and for now, we'll be considering him doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Timberwolves. Tony Snell started the second-half in Butler's place, and with Buckets sidelined there will be more opportunity for Derrick Rose and E'Twaun Moore. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:42 pm

  • Jimmy Butler (left leg) gets carted off
Jimmy Butler suffered a left leg injury and was carted off the court in Denver on Friday.

Advice: He had a bad collision with Joffrey Lauvergne and had a really ugly fall. Butler was put in a wheelchair for a few seconds, but he got up to shoot the free throws. He did not put much weight on his leg as he was put into the wheelchair again. We'll look for an update shortly, but this does not look good. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:18 pm

  • Mario Hezonja doesn't play as much
Mario Hezonja played 22 minutes against the Clippers on Friday with nine points, five rebounds and one 3-pointer.

Advice: His shot selection is better and he's starting to get in a better groove. The Magic are now just 21-28 on the year and may start to play Hezonja more going forward. He's only a deep-league stash right now. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:41 pm
  • Kidd expects Mayo (hamstring) to play Tuesday
Jason Kidd said that he expects O.J. Mayo (sore left hamstring) to play Tuesday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Mayo was able to get through a full practice on Thursday unscathed, so it sounds like he'll be ready to get back on the court Tuesday night following an 11 game absence. Mayo will likely be eased back into the rotation in Milwaukee, and with averages of just 9.1 points, 1.2 three-pointers and 1.2 steals on 37.4 percent shooting on the year, he can safely remain on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 5:51 pm
  • Kevin Martin (wrist) questionable Saturday
Kevin Martin (wrist) is officially questionable to play vs. the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: Martin has missed six straight games, he hasn't logged 30 minutes in a contest since early December, and Sam Mitchell said recently that he wasn't close to returning. The Wolves' only incentive to play him at less than 100 percent would be to showcase him for a potential trade -- he's not a desirable fantasy asset unless he lands in an ideal situation. • Jimmy Butler (knee) starting vs. DEN Friday
Jimmy Butler (knee tendinitis) will start Friday's game vs. the Nuggets, as expected.

Advice: Pau Gasol is out tonight and the Bulls are opting to start Cameron Bairstow, so Jimmy should be even busier than usual offensively. Make sure he's looked into your active lineups. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:33 pm
    Out

  • Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) iffy Saturday
Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) won't play on Friday and he's questionable to return vs. the Pelicans on Saturday.

Advice: Tyronn Lue suggested prior to Friday's game that Dellavedova might not be ready to face New Orleans, which isn't a good sign. Mo Williams is picking up a handful of minutes in Delly's absence, but he's not a viable fantasy option. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:25 pm
  • Matt Barnes will play vs. Knicks on Friday
Matt Barnes (hamstring) will play against the Knicks on Friday.

Advice: "We should be fully loaded," coach Dave Joerger said. Yes, this means he gets his first game at MSG since the Derek Fisher drama. Barnes is still a hold in standard leagues, but he's lost some value with Jeff Green tearing it up. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:09 pm
  • Lance Thomas (concussion) out until Tuesday
Lance Thomas (mild concussion) will not play until at least Tuesday as he undergoes testing, which means he'll miss games on Friday or Sunday.

Advice: With Carmelo Anthony (knee) also on the sidelines, the Knicks are going small with Langston Galloway in the starting lineup on Friday. Derrick Williams should also play big minutes off the bench, however, and he's worth a long look as a cheap DFS play until Melo and/or Thomas return to action. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:52 pm
  • Martin, Garnett & Pekovic not close to return
Coach Sam Mitchell said the Kevin Martin (wrist), Kevin Garnett (knee) and Nikola Pekovic (ankle, foot) are not close to returning.

Advice: "I love the way we're playing right now," Mitchell said. In other words, those guys are basically out of the rotation. This is terrific news for Zach LaVine and Gorgui Dieng. Martin is on the trade block for next to nothing and will need to be dealt to have value. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:30 am
    Injured

  • Matt Barnes (hamstring) is still questionable
Matt Barnes (hamstring) remains questionable for Friday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Given his history with Knicks head coach Derek Fisher, Barnes will do everything in his power to play tonight. He did go through the morning shootaround, so it sounds like he could be a game-time call. If he misses another game, Jeff Green and Tony Allen would benefit the most. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:21 am
  • Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) out Friday
Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) will not play on Friday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: This will be his second straight game on the shelf and the Cavs shouldn't be in any hurry to rush him back. Mo Williams played just 11 minutes on Wednesday as the backup point guard, so there's no real reason to consider him outside of deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:06 am
  • Ben McLemore (wrist) is probable
Ben McLemore (wrist) is probable to play the Nets on Friday.

Advice: He returned from a one-game absence on Wednesday, but coach George Karl decided to bring him off the bench behind Marco Belinelli and he only saw a total of 18 minutes. For now, McLemore is only on the radar in very deep leagues as he isn't very involved in the offense. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:18 am
  • Allen Crabbe scores 17 points
Allen Crabbe scored 17 points with three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday.

Advice: He's been terrific and the Cal product is really going to put some pressure on the Blazers this summer when it comes time to sign him. Crabbe has sixth-round value in standard leagues in 2016, so he's worth owning right now. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:20 pm
  • Norris Cole scores two points in 13 minutes
Norris Cole scored two points on 1-of-10 from the field against the Lakers on Thursday, adding two assists, two steals and one turnover in 13 minutes.

Advice: He was in foul trouble tonight and coach Alvin Gentry just opted to keep him out. Cole had some major problems with consistency in his Miami days, but he's been fine up until tonight. He's only a low-end guy and should hold some value while Tyreke Evans (knee) is without a timetable. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:52 pm
  • Archie Goodwin scores 22 points in loss
Archie Goodwin scored 22 points against the Rockets on Thursday, adding one rebound, seven assists, two 3-pointers and six turnovers in 38 minutes.

Advice: The Suns are really embracing the pass, but sometimes the plays aren't there and that led to their 24 turnovers tonight. Goodwin's minutes seem to be locked up until late February at the very least, so he's worth holding in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:59 pm
  • Lance Thomas gets six stitches
Lance Thomas returned on Thursday after receiving six stitches for a lip laceration.

Advice: He's fine and he didn't need a concussion test. Thomas scored nine points with one rebound and one assist in 31 minutes. He's lost most of his fantasy value while the team is healthy. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:36 pm
  • Darrun Hilliard scores six in 15 minutes
Darrun Hilliard scored six points with one rebound and one turnover in 15 minutes against the Knicks on Thursday.

Advice: He played a handful of minutes at small forward on Wednesday, but he was slotted at shooting guard for all of his time tonight. Hilliard's chance for minutes gets a little smaller with Stanley Johnson looking good at shooting guard tonight. Leave him on the wire almost everywhere. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:24 pm
  • O.J. Mayo (hamstring) out Friday vs. Utah
O.J. Mayo (sore left hamstring) will not play Friday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Mayo was able to go through a full practice with the Bucks on Thursday, and head coach Jason Kidd said that he's looking good, so at least Mayo is getting close to a return after spending half of January on the sidelines. However, O.J. is averaging just 9.1 points, 1.2 steals and 1.2 three-pointers per game on 37.4 percent shooting, so even when he does get back on the court, there's not much reason to own him in most formats. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:40 pm
  • Matt Barnes (hamstring) questionable Friday
Matt Barnes (right hamstring) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Matt Barnes sat out Monday's matchup with New Orleans, and given the tricky nature of hamstring injuries, it wouldn't be shocking to see him miss Friday's contest as well. Jeff Green, Tony Allen and Vince Carter will see an uptick in minutes if Barnes is out, with Green offering the most upside. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 12:21 pm
  • Ronnie Price due back next week for Suns
Ronnie Price, who has missed 12 games due to toe surgery, could return to action for the Suns next week.

Advice: Price's return could have an impact on Archie Goodwin and Devin Booker, but we doubt it will be big enough to cause a panic if you own them. Price is also not a player we're interested in telling you to pick up, unless you're in a 30-team league, and then it might even be a stretch. But with Brandon Knight likely out through the All-Star break, Price could see some decent minutes off the bench in order to keep Goodwin and Booker fresh. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:31 am
    Injured

  • Darrun Hilliard staying ready for opportunity
Darrun Hilliard is focused on staying ready for an opportunity to contribute to the Pistons.

Advice: Hilliard has seen his minutes fluctuate, but is committed to staying ready for when his opportunity presents itself. "Sometimes you don’t know what Coach has in mind for you and you sometimes wonder," Hilliard said. "At the same time, you have to know you’re here for a reason and Coach has full confidence in me. Whenever my number’s called, I’ll be ready." While the rookie has some upside, he's not on the radar in anything but the deepest of fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:46 am
  • Andrew Wiggins scores 31 points vs. Clippers
Andrew Wiggins scored 31 points with four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers during a 108-102 win over the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: He was on fire in the first half with 21 points on 9-of-12 from the field. Wiggins scored 30 points in back-to-back games for the second time this season and now he's doing a better job of getting to the basket -- also playing some more SF minutes recently. His team picked up a big win after suffering a tough loss to the Lakers on Tuesday. Wiggins is doing a little more in fantasy, but he'll have to transform into a multi-cat player to put up must-start value. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 12:13 am
  • Zach LaVine gets 34 minutes, scores 17
Zach LaVine scored 17 points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes against Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: Coach Sam Mitchell went with a lineup quartet of LaVine, Ricky Rubio, Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns for 15.3 minutes -- that combo actually has a positive net rating on the year, too. The UCLA product has hinted he likes playing shooting guard more and he's had some solid success there recently. LaVine should be owned in standard leagues. Additionally, he will be in the dunk contest next week. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:57 pm
  • Shabazz Muhammad gets 12 minutes
Shabazz Muhammad played 12 minutes against the Clippers on Wednesday with four points, one rebound, no turnovers and no fouls.

Advice: No injuries to report here as coach Sam Mitchell just had to give Tayshaun Prince 31 minutes, giving Andrew Wiggins some small forward minutes and even Damjan Rudez got in there for 18 minutes. Expect Muhammad to be better, but his upside isn't great anyway. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:47 pm
  • E'Twaun Moore scores career-high 24 points
E'Twaun Moore scored a career-high 24 points against the Kings on Wednesday during a 107-102 win, adding five rebounds, four assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Advice: Who needs Jimmy Butler (knee)? The Bulls players have been lobbying for Moore to start and he came through. As nice as this game is, Mike Dunleavy (back) is set to play on Saturday and Butler is only day-to-day for now. Congrats if you used him tonight, but don't be aggressive on adding him for value going forward. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:11 pm
  • Ben McLemore plays 18 minutes
Ben McLemore (wrist) returned from a one-game absence on Wednesday against the Bulls, scoring five points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 18 minutes off the bench.

Advice: The Kings bench wasn't hurt too badly tonight and McLemore played a well-rounded game. While he was showing some improvement thanks to a season-high 26 on Thursday, there's still no reason to add him. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:47 pm
  • Norris Cole scores 14 vs. Spurs
Norris Cole scored 14 points with four rebounds, nine assists, one steal and two turnovers in 34 minutes against the Spurs on Wednesday.

Advice: He continues to surprise with the increased assists, averaging 7.5 per game in his last four. Cole has put up seventh-round value in that span, which is pretty close to his ceiling. That's still enough to give him a long look until we see Tyreke Evans (knee) back on the court. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:27 pm
  • Victor Oladipo scores 37 points vs. OKC
Victor Oladipo scored a season-high 37 points against the Thunder on Wednesday with seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

Advice: He just missed his career high by a single point. Oladipo has been on cruise control in his last five, averaging 19.2 points, 3.8 boards, 4.4 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.4 treys on 47.5 percent from the field and 91.2 percent from the line. He's been a top-15 player in 2016 and looks like a great bet to be a top-25 player in standard leagues going forward. Why did coach Scott Skiles use him off the bench again? Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:48 pm
  • Mario Hezonja scores 16 points
Mario Hezonja scored 16 points with one rebound, four assists and four 3-pointers in 20 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Advice: He was one point off his career high from Sunday and his minutes are starting to rise a bit. Hezonja is coming out of a brutal slump from earlier in 2016, but his minutes are likely going to be inconsistent. Just keep an eye on him unless you're in a deep league. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:29 pm
  • Martin, Garnett and Pekovic all out vs. Clips
Kevin Martin (wrist), Kevin Garnett (knee) and Nikola Pekovic (foot) will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: The severity of Martin's injury isn't known, but he might not even be in the rotation upon his return anyway. Leave him on the wire. Zach LaVine should get 30 minutes or so and is worth holding in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:09 pm
    Injured

  • McLemore off the bench, Belinelli starting
Ben McLemore (wrist) will come off the bench against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: Marco Belinelli will stick in the starting lineup. McLemore was actually playing well before his injury and he did look good in shootaround. This move does slightly help Belinelli, but he's only worth a look in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:22 pm
  • Matt Dellavedova (hamstring) will not play
Matt Dellavedova (hamstring) will not play against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Advice: He is going to rest his bothersome hamstring and it sounds like it's precautionary. The Cavs figure to get Mo Williams back in the rotation tonight, but he's not a reliable fantasy option unless you are hoping for garbage time against a shorthanded Hornets team. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:57 pm
  • Matt Dellavedova (hamstring) a game-time call
Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) is a game-time decision to face the Hornets on Wednesday.

Advice: He has been fighting the issue for a week and only played 12 minutes on Monday, so perhaps this hamstring issue explains why. The Cavs don't need Dellavedova too much right now and could opt to throw Mo Williams back in the rotation. We'll have another update shortly. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:39 pm
  • Ben McLemore (wrist) goes through shootaround
Ben McLemore (wrist) went through shootaround on Wednesday and is still questionable.

Advice: He did plenty of shooting and this report adds he looked good. McLemore could be closer to probable, but he's not a fantasy option tonight. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:47 am
  • Kevin Martin (wrist) questionable vs. LAC
Kevin Martin (wrist) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: He was questionable for Tuesday and did not play. Martin has been out since Jan. 23 and he's also very likely to be traded. If he does play, Zach LaVine may play a little less. Martin is probably closer to doubtful for this one. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:34 am
    Injured

  • Report: Toronto interested in P.J. Tucker
The Raptors have reportedly expressed interest in trading for P.J. Tucker.

Advice: It makes sense as the Raptors’ small forwards have been ravished by injuries, although Tucker would lose a lot of value in Toronto once DeMarre Carroll (knee) is able to get back on the court. It's unclear exactly what assets the Raptors would send to the Suns in order to make this deal happen, but Stein reports that Phoenix is likely seeking a "nice" draft pick as compensation. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:45 am
  • Zach LaVine scores 14 w/ seven dimes
Zach LaVine scored 14 points with seven assists, one board, two 3-pointers and four turnovers in 26 minutes vs. the Lakers on Tuesday.

Advice: He split his minutes at point guard and shooting guard, and that trend will likely continue unless Ricky Rubio goes down. The Wolves will more than likely increase his minutes after the All-Star break and he is averaging 20.6 points, 3.8 assists and 2.0 3-pointers over his last five games, so he's worth owning in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:23 pm
  • Wiggins breaks out of slump, drops 30 points
Andrew Wiggins snapped out of his slump on Tuesday vs. the Lakers, scoring 30 points on 13-of-20 shooting.

Advice: In his two previous games, Wiggins was averaging 10.0 points on 5-of-29 shooting (17.2 percent). Coach Sam Mitchell did say last week that Wiggins was a little fatigued, but he looked great tonight against one of his idols (Kobe Bryant) and his owners should be encouraged. The rising star added five boards, one assist, two blocks, one steal and one 3-pointer to give himself a full line. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:13 pm
  • Jerryd Bayless scores 16 points off the bench
Jerryd Bayless scored 16 points off the bench on Tuesday vs. the Blazers with five assists, one board, one block and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: Michael Carter-Williams was poor in this one with just two points and two assists in 26 minutes, so this could be a position battle to watch moving forward now that the Bucks have lost four straight games. Bayless is averaging 8.6 points, 3.4 assists, 2.8 boards and 1.4 3-pointers over his last five games, and he's only worth a speculative add in deeper leagues unless coach Jason Kidd decides to shake up his lineup. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:04 pm
  • Gerald Henderson scores 14 w/ nine boards
Gerald Henderson scored 14 points with nine rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes on Tuesday vs. the Bucks.

Advice: He has scored in double digits in four out of his last five games, but his recent spike in playing time could be because the Blazers are trying to boost his value prior to the trade deadline. Regardless, Henderson doesn't have much upside and his role with minutes in the lower 20s is not appealing, so he can be left on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:59 pm
  • Archie Goodwin drops 18 & 12 in loss
Archie Goodwin broke out of a funk on Tuesday, racking up 18 points, a career-high 12 assists and two 3-pointers on 7-of-12 shooting in 45 minutes.

Advice: Wow. Just when it looked like the Goodwin party might be coming to an end, he pulled a great game out of his hat. He came in averaging just 4.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists over his last two games, hitting 4-of-26 shots. He righted the ship tonight and if he was dropped, or you've had your eye on him, it's time to pick him up. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:04 pm
  • Ben McLemore (wrist) is questionable
Ben McLemore (wrist) is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Bulls.

Advice: McLemore sat out of Tuesday's practice, but said back on Monday that he expects to play. Regardless, Marco Belinelli and Darren Collison will both benefit if McLemore decides to err on the side of caution. He's not a reliable fantasy asset. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:56 pm
  • Kevin Martin (wrist) out for Tuesday
Kevin Martin (wrist) will not play on Tuesday vs. the Lakers as expected.

Advice: He was listed as questionable but coach Sam Mitchell never expected him to play. K-Mart is likely going to be traded, but he isn't worth stashing in almost any format at the moment. Zach LaVine will benefit on Tuesday and from here on out. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:42 pm
    Injured

  • Archie Goodwin has some work to do
Coach Earl Watson said Archie Goodwin is "finding the niche in his game" during his press conference on Tuesday.

Advice: The interim coach also called Goodwin a two-guard playing the point. Watson said he wants clearer roles in the rotation, so it'll be interesting to see how he utilizes Goodwin. Watson's said he can't tell Goodwin to get 6-8 assists per night and it'll have to be a team approach. The next couple games for Goodwin will be huge, but it starts tonight in a tough matchup against Kyle Lowry. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 2:06 pm
  • Kevin Martin (wrist) questionable for Tuesday
Kevin Martin (wrist) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers, although head coach Sam Mitchell said he didn't think he would play.

Advice: Martin should be listed as doubtful here, and it would be very surprising to see him take the court tonight. We should have official confirmation soon enough, but Zach LaVine will be the primary beneficiary with Martin likely on the sidelines Tuesday night, and he's on the radar in DFS with a favorable matchup against the Lakers. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 1:07 pm

  • O.J. Mayo out Tuesday against Trail Blazers
O.J. Mayo (sore left hamstring) will not play against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday.

Advice: Mayo will miss his tenth consecutive game on Tuesday and looks to be out until at least the All-Star break as he is still without a timetable. Jerryd Bayless and Rashad Vaughn will continue to see an uptick in minutes, but neither carries much fantasy value beyond deeper leagues even with Mayo out. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:42 am
  • Victor Oladipo scores 19 vs. Spurs
Victor Oladipo scored 19 points against the Spurs on Monday with three rebounds, seven assists, five steals and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

Advice: The move to the starting lineup has been huge for 'Dipo. Since moving into the starting lineup 13 games ago, Oladipo averaged 17.7 points, 4.5 boards, 4.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.5 treys. He's put up third-round value in that span, which is sustainable. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:46 pm
  • Mario Hezonja gets 29 minutes
Mario Hezonja scored four points with two rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and two turnovers in 29 minutes against the Spurs on Monday.

Advice: The minutes are an encouraging sign as he's taking away minutes from Evan Fournier. Hezonja isn't quite in the first or even second tier or rookies right now and he has been inconsistent. Unless you hate the guy at the end of your bench, leave him on the wire for now. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:30 pm
  • Norris Cole drops 23 points in loss
Norris Cole scored 23 points with three rebounds, six assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Advice: He's been a pleasant surprise with some nice consistency. The ups and downs in Miami is why the Heat dumped him, but Cole has played with more control and is trusting his teammates more. His value will dip once Tyreke Evans (knee) comes back, but that might not happen any time soon. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:10 pm
  • DeMar DeRozan scores 24 points
DeMar DeRozan scored 24 points with four assists, one board and one steal vs. the Nuggets on Monday.

Advice: He only played 28 minutes because of the blowout loss, but at least he will be fresh for Tuesday's cupcake matchup vs. the Suns. DeRozan has scored 24 or more points in each of his last three games and needs to be locked into all lineups. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:37 pm
  • Matt Barnes (right hamstring) out vs. NO
Matt Barnes (right hamstring) will not play against the Pelicans on Monday.

Advice: This injury popped up out of nowhere and it's unknown how much time he'll miss. With Barnes out, there should be more run for for Jeff Green, Courtney Lee and Tony Allen. Keep Barnes benched for now. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:46 pm
  • Matt Barnes is a game-time call vs. Pelicans
Matt Barnes (hamstring) is a game-time call against the Pelicans on Monday, but is closer to doubtful.

Advice: Barnes' hamstring issue is new, but he's dealt with this problem before. If Barnes can't go, that means there will be more minutes for Courtney Lee, Jeff Green and Tony Allen. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:36 pm
  • Zach LaVine returned to action on Sunday January 31. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 11:50 pm
  • Allen Crabbe helps Blazers beat Minnesota
Allen Crabbe came off the bench for eight points on 4-of-7 in 23 minutes vs. the Wolves on Sunday, adding three rebounds and one steal.

Advice: Crabbe is having a career year and he's quietly emerged with top-75 value in January (9-cat), posting 11.8 points, 1.6 triples, 3.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 assists, while making 47.3 percent FGs without a single miss at the FT line. He's not flashy, but is worth a pickup as a cheap, well-rounded roto option. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 9:21 pm
  • Shabazz Muhammad invisible in 13 minutes
Shabazz Muhammad failed to score in 13 minutes of action vs. the Blazers, finishing Sunday's road loss with two turnovers, three personal fouls and no other stats to his credit.

Advice: Yikes. It was Muhammad's lowest playing time since Dec. 28 and he won't be a consistent option while Tayshaun Prince is logging heavy minutes as a starter -- Prince got 30 minutes tonight, Andrew Wiggins played 35 minutes, and Zach LaVine saw 25 minutes as a shooting guard, so there wasn't much room for Shabazz in the rotation. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 8:57 pm
  • Andrew Wiggins shoots 3-of-18 vs. Blazers
Andrew Wiggins shot 3-of-18 from the field on Sunday, but he made 9-of-12 from the line to finish the Wolves' road loss with 15 points, nine rebounds, two assists and three turnovers.

Advice: Al-Farouq Aminu was his primary defender and Wiggins isn't the first player to struggle vs. AFA this season -- the Blazers are limiting opposing SFs to just 18.0 points over their past five games. Wiggins' usage rate of 27.8 is easily a team-high, and one off-night offensively won't dissuade him from firing away vs. the lowly Lakers on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 8:56 pm
  • Zach LaVine (ankle) gets hot late in defeat
Zach LaVine (ankle) got hot late vs. the Blazers on Sunday, finishing 6-of-14 from the field for 14 points, with one 3-pointer, two boards, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes.

Advice: LaVine was scorching hot prior to his injury -- in the Wolves' previous three games he averaged 25.0 points and 2.3 triples, while shooting a combined 31-of-44 from the field (70.5 percent). He saw most of his time at SG tonight, and with his minutes on the upswing it makes sense to grab him where available, if only for upside as a source of scoring, 3s, assists and FT percentage. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 8:55 pm
  • Archie Goodwin shoots 1-of-11 vs. Mavericks
Archie Goodwin shot just 1-of-11 vs. the Mavericks, finishing Sunday's road loss with three points, four rebounds, one steal and three turnovers.

Advice: Goodwin is averaging just 7.0 points on 7-of-36 shooting (19.4 percent) in his past three games, a steep decline considering how well he played immediately after Brandon Knight's groin injury. He was 1-of-8 within five feet of the rim and needs to finish better to sustain his offense -- fantasy owners should consider benching him until he heats up. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 7:12 pm
  • O.J. Mayo (hamstring) out Monday
O.J. Mayo (hamstring) will not play on Monday vs. the Kings.

Advice: He has no timetable for a return and could miss more games. Jerryd Bayless has been getting most of Mayo's minutes, while rookie Rashad Vaughn has also been in the rotation. Leave Mayo on the wire. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 7:05 pm
  • High Score: Super Mario Hezonja scores 17 pts
Mario Hezonja scored a career-high 17 points vs. the Celtics, hitting 7-of-13 shots with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes of action.

Advice: Hezonja's minutes are on the upswing and he's a fine player to grab in deeper formats, in the hopes that his playing time increases -- this is the first time all year that he's exceeded 30 minutes. Don't expect a repeat performance on Monday, however, as Orlando gets a tough matchup vs. the Spurs in San Antonio. After that, the Magic play the Thunder, Clippers, Hawks (twice) and the Spurs again. Ouch. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 7:01 pm
  • Zach LaVine (ankle) is not on injury report
Zach LaVine (ankle) is not on the injury report for Sunday's game vs. the Blazers.

Advice: He appeared to tweak his ankle on Friday, but his status was never in doubt for Sunday's game. He is averaging 25.0 points, 3.3 assists, 2.3 boards, 0.7 steals and 2.3 3-pointers per game over his last three and should be in all lineups until he cools off. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 4:47 pm
  • E'Twaun Moore scores 10 points w/ five dimes
E'Twaun Moore scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting in his second consecutive start at shooting guard on Sunday, to go with five assists, one 3-pointer, one rebound and one block in 30 minutes.

Advice: Moore has been getting a ton of run over the past two games as Chicago’s starting two-guard, but that really hasn’t shown up on the stat sheet. In those two starts, he’s posted meager averages of 9.0 points, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per game on 43.8 percent shooting. He'll likely find himself back on the bench once Mike Dunleavy (back) get back on the court, so he's not really worth owning in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 3:19 pm
  • Matt Barnes fails to score in 22 minutes
Matt Barnes missed all seven of his shots from the field on Saturday vs. the Kings and failed to score in 22 minutes.

Advice: Yikes. The good news is that Barnes salvaged his line with three boards, two assists, two steals and two blocks, so it's hard to drop a player with that kind of upside after one bad performance. He had five fouls which explains the low minutes, but we would like him better if the Grizzlies went back to their small-ball lineup. Barnes had 13 points, four boards, two assists, one steal, two blocks and four 3-pointers in his previous game, so it makes sense to give him another chance. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 8:58 pm
  • DeMar DeRozan scores 29 points in win
DeMar DeRozan scored 29 points against the Pistons during a 111-107 win on Saturday, adding three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes.

Advice: The All-Star put a pretty little bow on his January. This month, he finished with averages of 23.9 points, 4.2 boards, 3.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.1 treys on 44.2 percent from the field and 84.8 percent from the line. The impressive month gave him a solid 53.9 true shooting percentage and fourth-round value in fantasy. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 7:00 pm
  • E'Twaun Moore will start again on Sunday
E'Twaun Moore will start again on Sunday against the Clippers with Tony Snell coming off the bench.

Advice: The players wanted to get Moore in there to help the offense and they'll get their wish. Moore played 36 minutes on Thursday with eight points and could get significant run again. If you want to use him in DFS, it's kind of playing with fire. He's not a great add in season-long leagues because of Mike Dunleavy (back) coming back soon. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 11:54 am
  • Mitchell says Andrew Wiggins was tired
Wolves coach Sam Mitchell said that Andrew Wiggins struggled on Friday vs. the Jazz because he was tired.

Advice: "He just didn’t have that extra step," Mitchell said. "It happens. Nobody is going to play great every night. You could just tell: Very, very rarely does he ask to come out of the game and he asked to come out of the game early in the third quarter, at the five-minute mark. He just was tired." Wiggins was held to just five points on 2-of-11 shooting, but look for him to bounce back on Sunday vs. the Blazers. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 8:30 am
  • Skiles wants Hezonja to improve on defense
Magic coach Scott Skiles wants Mario Hezonja to become more of a two-way player.

Advice: "We have full confidence and faith that he's going to, and it's just a matter of time," Skiles said. "He's had moments where he's really getting it. And, then, like a typical rookie, there's other moments when he's not." Part of the reason why Hezonja is playing just 13.8 minutes per game this season is because of his defense, but hopefully his role will grow now that the Magic are plummeting down the standings after losing eight straight games. • Allen Crabbe scores 20 vs. Hornets
Allen Crabbe scored 20 points against the Hornets on Friday with three rebounds, one assist, one steal, two turnovers and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Advice: Crabbe isn't playing small forward as much as he was earlier in the season, but his minutes are up in his last six. Still, he only put up 12th-round value in that span, so there's little incentive to adding him. Rotoworld.com Jan 29, 11:09 pm
  • Zach LaVine scores 19 points on 12 shots
Zach LaVine's torrid streak continued on Friday, as he tallied 19 points on 9-of-12 shooting to go with three assists, three boards and three turnovers through 31 minutes off the bench.

Advice: LaVine just can’t miss lately, and over the past two games he’s posted a ridiculous effective field goal percentage of 87.9 (23-of-29 shooting). LaVine can stuff the stat sheet when given the minutes, and Minnesota is clearly trying to unload Kevin Martin in order to free up playing time for Mr. LaVine. He did suffer a minor ankle left ankle tweak during the closing minutes of the game, so owners will need to check in on his status prior to activating him for Sunday's game in Portland.
