  • Dion Waiters goes scoreless in loss
Dion Waiters did not score on Thursday with four rebounds, four assists and one turnover in 27 minutes.

Advice: Up until tonight, the Thunder were effective when he was on the court during this series, including a plus-56 in plus-minus during his 66 minutes in the last two games. Tonight was a different story with Waiters posting a team-low minus-18. Coach Billy Donovan used Waiters as a ball-handler once again during this game, but he couldn't get free too often for scoring. He will be as risky as ever for Game 6. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:39 pm
  • Andre Roberson scores six points vs. GSW
Andre Roberson fouled out in 33 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday with six points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He's coming off the best career of his game because the Warriors left him alone in most offensive sets on Tuesday. However, it was a little different this time with his teammates missing him on some open looks. Roberson's minutes should be safe, but the Thunder may not go small as much now that the Warriors made an adjustment to go bigger. Still, Roberson's DFS owners have to be satisfied with this and can dial him up again in Game 6. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:37 pm
  • Sergey Karasev unlikely to be a Net next year
Sergey Karasev is unlikely to suit up for the Nets next season.

Advice: The Nets declined to pickup their team option on Karasev for the 2016-17 season, so he'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Karasev has reportedly already begun training for next season, and his father stated during a recent interview that he will look at all his options this offseason, including a return to Europe. Karasev has been in the league for three years and has never established himself as a rotation player, so his fantasy value is right around nil. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:40 am
  • Marco Belinelli says he wants to 'win now'
Marco Belinelli stated during a recent interview with Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport that he wants to be a part of a winning team.

Advice: "I want to win now. To make that happen, something has to happen," said Belinelli. "I'm still under contract with Sacramento and I have trust in the organization but in the NBA you never know what may happen." Belinelli doesn't sound like a guy that's all that happy to be on the books for another two years in Sacramento, but he was the guy that chose to go there as a free agent. With the Kings, Belinelli won’t be anything more than a deep league, 3-point specialist. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:10 am
  • Dennis Schroder wants to be a better finisher
Dennis Schroder said that he wants to come back stronger next season, and he'll be spending time this offseason working to become a better finisher at the rim.

Advice: "I'll try to be stronger next year and dunk some more balls," Schroder said. "I've got to be better finishing at the rim." Schroder also confirmed that he will be playing for the German National Team again this offseason, as he tries to help the team qualify for the European Championship. Schroder's fantasy value next year will hinder on what happens with Jeff Teague, but if Teague ends up getting traded, Schroder would make for an intriguing late-round gamble in standard leagues. • Billy Donovan praises Andre Roberson's play
Billy Donovan praised Andre Roberson's play following Tuesday's Game 4 win over the Warriors.

Advice: "It's funny," Donovan said. "After Game 2 people are saying to me: ‘Is this guy going to even play anymore?' Andre's a good basketball player and I think sometimes the things that go missing with him is he makes winning plays." Roberson, typically viewed as a defensive specialist, has suddenly emerged as an offensive option for the Thunder posting averages of 15.0 points, 9.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 2.0 triples, 3.0 steals and 1.0 block on 57.1 percent shooting over his past two outings. The Dubs have been completely ignoring him on defense, and Roberson has made them pay. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:15 am
  • Roberson scores 17 w/ 12 boards, 5 steals
Andre Roberson scored 17 points with 12 rebounds, three assists, five steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 40 minutes in Tuesday's Game 4 win over the Warriors.

Advice: The Warriors hacked him several times and he hit just 2-of-8 free throws, but this was arguably the best game of his career. The points were a career high and he shot 7-of-12 from the field, and you have to love the minutes. This big game obviously puts him firmly on the DFS radar due to his low price, though he was averaging just 4.4 points in the postseason prior to Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:05 pm
  • Dante Exum to be cleared for contact Thursday
Dante Exum (knee) has been cleared for contact on Thursday.

Advice: This is a big step for Exum, who tore his ACL back in August. Exum was growing as a defender during his rookie season and even showed some offensive improvement in Summer League. He's probably not going to play for Australia in the Olympics, but it's possible. He'll have more value in reality than in fantasy next year. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:35 pm
  • Richard Jefferson plays all 12 4Q minutes
Richard Jefferson played all 12 fourth-quarter minutes and 15 total minutes on Monday against the Raptors, finishing with eight points, one assist and no turnovers.

Advice: He played down the stretch as coach Ty Lue got a bit desperate. Lue continues to say it's not "fair" to Kevin Love to play in the fourth, so maybe Jefferson plays key minutes again. He's not a fantasy option, of course. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:22 pm
  • Casey praises Joseph's strong Game 3 showing
Dwane Casey praised Cory Joseph's strong showing in Toronto's Game 3 win on Saturday.

Advice: "He did a much better job tonight of controlling the game," Casey said. "Running the offense, keeping things under control, not letting the defense speed him up." The head coach then added that "Cory did a good job of handling their defensive pressure,"switching and making sure he had the right person involved in the pick-and-roll." Joseph is an important part of Toronto's formula for success, so he'll need to play well again in Monday's Game 4 for the Raptors to be firing on all cylinders. Rotoworld.com Monday, 6:17 am
  • Andre Roberson stays hot from deep, scores 13
Andre Roberson started again on Sunday and had 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting with three 3-pointers, six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes.

Advice: Roberson is 8-of-13 from downtown in his past four games and the Warriors have dared him to beat them from the arc -- tonight Andrew Bogut began as his primary defender, and when Draymond Green has him he frequently roams to the opposite side of the court. Roberson did a good job cutting hard and moving without the ball, rewarding Billy Donovan's decision to keep him in the starting lineup. He'll be on Golden State's radar in Game 4. • Dion Waiters thrives in 34 minutes off bench
Dion Waiters was terrific in 34 minutes off the bench during Sunday's Game 3 victory, making 6-of-11 shots to finish with 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, one 3-pointer and one turnover.

Advice: Waiters chose his shots wisely and set up his teammates for a few easy buckets, all while playing solid defense. The soon-to-be free agent (restricted) is having an impressive postseason, and he's a big reason the Thunder have a 2-1 series lead against the reigning champs. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:59 pm
  • Dahntay Jones suspended 1 game for groin hit
Dahntay Jones has been suspended one game for hitting Bismack Biyombo in the groin region during the closing minutes of Game 3.

Advice: Jones is a negligible part of the Cavs rotation, so his mandatory absence from Game 4 will have zero consequence in fantasy hoops. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 3:56 pm
  • Tyler Johnson wants to get his body right
Tyler Johnson said that he wants to focus on getting his body right this summer.

Advice: "The next aim is to get my body right, to be able to sustain a whole 82-game season and then the playoffs," Johnson said. "I thought I that I was making a lot of great strides at the beginning of the season and I'm going to continue to improve on, obviously, those things as far as ballhandling, finishing at the basket. I think that my biggest strides are going to be mentally and getting my body right." Johnson won't need any offseason procedures on his shoulder, but he will have to be mindful of it during activities such as weight training. The restricted free agent will likely be back with the Heat next season as one of their backup combo guards. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:28 am
  • Knicks reporter believes Grant could 'thrive'
Knicks reporter Ian Begley believes that Jerian Grant could thrive under coach Jeff Hornacek next season.

Advice: Hornacek will likely be able to tweak the triangle offense, meaning the Knicks could utilize the pick and roll a lot more which is what Grant excelled at during his college days. The Knicks will certainly be in the market for some backcourt help this summer, but if they aren't able to land a starting-caliber PG, Grant could be looking at a larger role. He averaged 5.6 points, 2.3 assists, 1.9 boards and 0.7 steals in 16.6 minutes per game in his rookie season. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:25 am
  • Cory Joseph brings the defense in win
Cory Joseph was terrific in 31 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday with 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: It was easily his best game of the series and possibly his best game of the postseason. The most important part of his performance tonight was his outstanding defense on Kyrie Irving. The Raptors bench was destroyed in the first two games, so this was a huge boost. Joseph also played a lot of the clutch minutes late, which was a major against the Pacers in the first round. Don't expect him to be this effective in Game 4. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:30 pm
  • Matthew Dellavedova good to go Saturday
Matthew Dellavedova (ankle) will play against the Raptors on Saturday.

Advice: He had an ankle tweak in Game 2, but there was never really much concern. With Kyrie Irving set to play minutes in the upper 30s in a non-garbage time game, there won't be much time available for Dellavedova. Of course, this game could get ugly again. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:44 pm
  • Dellavedova (ankle) questionable for Game 3
Matthew Dellavedova (ankle) is questionable for Game 3 vs. the Raptors on Saturday.

Advice: He is dealing with a left ankle sprain, but he's going to test it out at the morning shootaround before making a decision. If Delly plays it safe and sits out on Saturday, Mo Williams will likely take over the backup PG duties. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:43 am
  • Norman Powell only gets three minutes
Norman Powell only played three minutes against the Cavs on Thursday, adding two points and one rebound.

Advice: He wasn't really in the rotation until garbage time. The Raptors got very little out of Luis Scola, so that lineup probably won't stick. DFS owners still can't trust Powell right now. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:06 pm
  • Dwane Casey possibly changing starters
Coach Dwane Casey said the Raptors will make some rotation changes and could change the starting lineup.

Advice: The Cavs destroyed the Raptors around the rim and LeBron James made an incredible 11-of-12 shots at the rim. It will likely be Norman Powell getting the starting nod with Patrick Patterson moving to the bench. There will likely be an update just before tip. Patterson is too risky to use now while Powell is only a tournament punt in DFS. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 4:19 pm
  • James Anderson to leave NBA for Europe
James Anderson plans to leave the NBA and sign in Europe, according to David Pick.

Advice: Pick reports that Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Fenerbahce are all in the mix to sign Anderson, so it sounds like Anderson could sign soon. After averaging 3.5 points per game with the Kings last season, the 27-year-old will now be even further off the fantasy radar than he already was. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:30 am
  • Josh Richardson viewed as shooting guard
Heat president Pat Riley views Josh Richardson as a shooting guard.

Advice: "Josh is not going to run offense for you," Riley said. "He can get you into offense. He will have to develop a catch-and-shoot jump shot game, catch-and-shoot threes. What I like about him best to this day ... is his defensive ability, his competitiveness, his character." Richardson shot 53.3 percent from downtown after the All-Star break, averaging 1.7 triples per game, and he'll be a big part of Miami's attack in 2016-17. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:41 pm
  • Josh Richardson will play in summer league
Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said Josh Richardson will play in summer league.

Advice: Spoelsta added that Richardson will likely only play a handful of games, but it's obvious the Heat are trying to get the 22-year-old as much experience as possible. Richardson averaged 10.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 1.7 three-pointers per game after the All-Star Break, and said he'd like to work on his ball handling and playmaking this summer. He'll be an intriguing late-round flier in 2016-17 fantasy drafts. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:33 am
  • Dion Waiters is solid in a win, scores 10
Dion Waiters made 4-of-6 from the field for 10 points with one rebound, four assists and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Warriors on Monday.

Advice: He was very underrated in the last round and it looked like he might get more run tonight with a slow start from Andre Roberson on both ends. However, Roberson came out swinging in the second half. Before the game, Russell Westbrook credited Waiters for his passing lately and Waiters actually matched his postseason career-high four dimes. His defense wasn't terrible in this game and he'll be splitting the minutes at shooting guard with Andre Roberson. He's on the board as a DFS punt. Rotoworld.com May 16, 9:18 pm
  • Andre Roberson is actually decent in win
Andre Roberson made all three shots from the field for seven points against the Warriors on Monday, adding five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 21 minutes.

Advice: To open the game, the Warriors had Draymond Green "covering" Roberson, but Green was really just playing safety to really focus on weak-side help. After a bad first half, Roberson started out strong in the second half. There's a decent chance this is his best scoring output in this series with his tidy efficiency, so he's not really a viable DFS punt. Rotoworld.com May 16, 9:12 pm
  • Westbrook thinks Waiters can be a good passer
Russell Westbrook said Dion Waiters can be an effective passer "when he puts his mind to it."

Advice: While he gets killed at times on social media and on sports talk shows, Waiters has really stepped up lately. He's run the point even when Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook on the floor lately while coming through in the clutch. In the last five games, Waiters has by far the best net rating in the fourth quarter at plus-39.1 in 44 minutes. His defense will be under a microscope for this series and he may have a tough time duplicating his productivity from the last round. Rotoworld.com May 16, 1:54 pm
  • Richardson surprised by his playing time
Josh Richardson admitted that he earned a more meaningful role than he initially anticipated this season.

Advice: "I played more than I expected going into this year," he said. "I thought I would just be learning from the older guys and just kind of watching. But once I started playing, being effective, I was thankful for that opportunity to be able to do that. I’m going to work my butt off every day this summer just to get better." Richardson is expected to work on his court vision, among other items, during the offseason and should again play an integral role off the bench next year. Rotoworld.com May 16, 7:50 am
