  • Barnes draws praise for strength in low post
Harrison Barnes has drawn praise from the Warriors coaching staff for his ability to defend in the low post.

Advice: "There are only so many wings that can guard the post," says Luke Walton. "You have to be very strong. He’s not only very strong, to the core strong, but he’s very quick," Walton added. Defensive guru Ron Adams had this to say, ""I think the way our game is progressing it’s going to be demanded of a lot of people." Barnes has been excellent in the postseason, even if his teammates are garnering the majority of the headlines. Rotoworld.com

  • Pacers, Scola share interest on new contract
The Pacers and Luis Scola are mutually interested in working out a new contract.

Advice: "We'll see how it goes," Larry Bird said. Scola would be a solid bench presence for the Pacers, but it's not clear how close the two sides may be in seeing eye-to-eye on the value of a new deal for the 35-year-old big man. Rotoworld.com

  • Steven Adams learned about himself this year
Steven Adams admitted to learning more about himself after dealing with various injuries this season.

Advice: After Adams broke his hand, that's when his mental perspective began to change. "After I got injured, I really learned just to appreciate the game and not think about it as much and just go out and have fun." Adams averaged 7.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 1.2 blocks on 54.5 percent shooting in his sophomore season. He should again make for a popular low-end target in fantasy drafts next season. • Jeff Teague has 30 points, zero TOs in Game 3
The Hawks lost Game 3 on Sunday despite Jeff Teague's personal playoff-best 30 points on 9-of-23 field goals and 9-of-9 free throws.

Advice: Teague sank three 3-pointers while pitching in six rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and zero turnovers in 43 minutes of action. He benefitted from the absence of Kyrie Irving (knee) tonight yet his aggressive and efficient play wasn't enough to overcome the loss of Kyle Korver (ankle) as well as Al Horford's early ejection in Game 3. The Hawks' star PG should give another all-out effort vs. Cleveland's depleted backcourt on Tuesday, which is worth keeping an eye on in daily fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kent Bazemore plays well as starter in Game 3
Kent Bazemore contributed 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block while filling in at SG for Kyle Korver (ankle) on Sunday, but the Hawks still lost 111-114 in overtime.

Advice: Bazemore is known for his speed and athleticism, but he also played solid defense and mimicked Korver's 3-point shooting with a 2-of-3 mark behind the arc tonight. Bazemore was 3-of-9 from the field and 6-of-8 from the FT line in 43 minutes in Game 3 and he'll need to play a major role for the Hawks to climb out of their 0-3 series deficit while Korver is out of commission.
