Player Notes

  • Kevin Durant scores 16 points in loss
Kevin Durant scored 16 points during an ugly loss to the Spurs on Saturday, adding eight rebounds, six assists and one turnover in 33 minutes.

Advice: It looked like he caught a break for this game with Kawhi Leonard guarding Russell Westbrook, but this was just a bloodbath. Considering how successful Kawhi on Westbrook worked out for the Spurs, it's likely going to continue. That bodes well for Durant to have some productive games in this series, especially if the Spurs will continue to put guys like Kyle Anderson on him. While he was disappointing against Dallas in the first round and in this one, expect him to be better in Game 2 on Monday. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:52 pm
  • Grizzlies believe they can re-sign Conley
Memphis team officials are confident that they will be able to re-sign Mike Conley this summer according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

Advice: Conley is obviously the Grizzlies' No. 1 priority this offseason, and they can also offer more money to him than any other team. Regardless, Conley will be the best point guard on the open market this summer, so he's going to get a max deal. A move away from Memphis could actually improve his fantasy value, but he's going to be a stud no matter what. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:12 am
  • Pablo Prigioni will probably retire
Pablo Prigioni will "probably" retire this summer according to ESPN.

Advice: He will be 39 years old in just a few weeks, so this isn't really a surprise. Prigioni averaged just 13.9 minutes in 59 regular season appearances and was never a reliable fantasy option. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:40 am
  • Damian Lillard scores 28; Blazers win series
Damian Lillard scored 28 points in a series-clinching 106-103 win over the Clippers on Friday, adding five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Advice: The Blazers were not supposed to be in the second round after losing four starters this past summer. Well, now they get a taller task against the Warriors. Lillard wears 0 for his hometown of Oakland and he'll be headed back home for Game 1 on Sunday. He was absolutely awesome in his four games against them this year, averaging 36.5 points, 2.0 boards, 6.5 assists, 2.3 steals, 0.8 blocks and 5.8 treys. After a somewhat down round against the Clippers, most DFS owners should have high hopes in the second round. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:42 pm
  • Mason Plumlee looks great yet again
Mason Plumlee scored nine points with 14 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal against the Clippers on Friday.

Advice: He went blow for blow with DeAndre Jordan in the paint. In the last five games of this series, Plumlee averaged 8.8 points, 14.8 boards, 6.8 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.2 blocks and 2.0 turnovers. The Blazers' trade with the Nets for basically Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has worked out nicely for them. He'll be very important against the Warriors. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:36 pm
