    • Jeff Green hopes to play more consistently as a leader for the Celtics this season.
Advice: "Just coming into camp in good shape, new focus, and a lot of people say it's a different vibe they feel from me now," Green said. "I just have to transfer it on the court, continue to get better as a player, and find a way to stay consistent. I think that's been my biggest fall throughout my career." Green led Boston in scoring last season but his aforementioned inconsistency was a big reason he returned late-round fantasy value.

    • Jeff Green said he is "trying to take the next step to becoming a leader" with the Celtics this season.
Advice: He's already been in Boston with his new teammates and seems to be committed to improving from his disappointing 2013-14 season. Green was one of the most inefficient players in the NBA last season, but he should have the opportunity to be the team's leading scorer. He's a high-ceiling target late in drafts.

    • Jeff Taylor said he has healed from his Dec. 20 Achilles tear.
Advice: He's back with the team after a visit home to Sweden. Taylor wasn't very efficient with Charlotte last season, but he was more aggressive. He'll likely compete for minutes in the second unit for the Hornets. Unless something happens to Gerald Henderson or Lance Stephenson, he won't be on the fantasy map in most leagues.

    • Jeff Taylor (Achilles) is dealing with a personal matter in Sweden and he is not with the team.
Advice: He did some workouts in Las Vegas Summer League and it sounds like he's going to be close to 100 percent. Coach Steve Clifford said Taylor is fine medically and he's just concerned with continuity with his new teammates. Taylor looked terrific before tearing his Achilles last year, but the addition of Lance Stephenson takes away some minutes on the wing.

    • Andray Blatche signed with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers on Saturday for $2.5 million.
Advice: There are a couple interesting things: The Wizards won't be able to get any money from the deal due to amnestying his contract earlier in his career, and Blatche could wind up back in the NBA in March. He'll join Jordan Crawford on the CBA powerhouse squad.

    • Andray Blatche is finalizing a deal to play with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China.
Advice: The Flying Tigers also signed Jordan Crawford, so they should have a fun brand of basketball. Blatche was in talks with multiple NBA teams, but he's likely getting more money from the CBA powerhouse. We'll pass along any official news as it becomes available.

    • Andray Blatche has officially been barred from playing on the Philippines national team in the 2014 Asian Games.
Advice: Blatche was allowed to play for the Philippines in the FIBA World Cup, but the rules of the Asian Games require a player to have three years of residency before representing a country on the court. He reportedly returned to the U.S. in early September, in the expectation that he'd negotiate a contract with the Heat, but so far there have been no reports of an agreement.
