    • Anthony Bennett is expected to stay with the Wolves and not be traded to the Sixers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Advice: The deal could go down as soon as Saturday, and Bennett will have a terrific chance for regular minutes with his new team. He looked good at Las Vegas Summer League and was capable of playing 30 minutes, so he's worked himself onto the radar in fantasy leagues. Although, Thaddeus Young going to the Wolves severely hurts his upside.

    • Anthony Bennett may not be traded to the 76ers in a trade for Thaddeus Young, according to Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune.
Advice: Zgoda added in a following tweet that he had no idea where the information came from. The Philadelphia Inquirer broke the news of a Bennett-Young deal back on Aug. 8, so we'll probably get more info on this in a few days when Andrew Wiggins is eligible to be traded. For what it's worth, teams are not going to flat-out say they're trading players.

    • Anthony Bennett isn't worrying about which team he plays for in 2014-15.
Advice: With a trade that will send him to Philadelphia all but complete, Bennett is concentrating on the things he can control rather than the things he can't. "I'm just a young man just ready to work," Bennett said. "Wherever I end up, doesn't really matter to me. I just want to play the game of basketball." After a rookie season during which he averaged 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game, a change of scenery should help turn the 2013 No. 1 overall pick into a viable asset in most fantasy leagues leagues.

    • Anthony Bennett admitted that he struggled through his rookie campaign, but is looking to start anew this upcoming season.
Advice: "I can fight through adversity," Bennett said. "It wasn't the best of seasons for me. I will admit that. Fighting the injuries and just the way things were, just never really made me give up. I always just stayed in the gym." Bennett was atrocious during his first year, averaging a meager 4.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, on 35.6 percent shooting from the field. However, if he is indeed traded to the 76ers, he will get all the opportunity he can handle in an up-tempo offense devoid of a go-to scorer. Bennett figures to be a late-round flier in standard leagues.

    • Kenneth Faried said he was "surprised" at his starting role with the U.S. men's national team.
Advice: Faried was named the starting power forward in the team's first warm-up game against Brazil, and now seems thoroughly entrenched at that spot. He was initially a long-shot to make the final 12-man roster, but withdrawals from Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Durant, and the injury to Paul George have left team USA thin at the forward spots. His unrelenting energy and hustle have made him both a solid fantasy option and a starter for the national team.

    • Kenneth Faried will start for Team USA vs. Brazil on Saturday.
Advice: He'll start next to Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis. Faried was fantastic down the stretch last season and has become a much better offensive player. Fantasy owners can look to target him in the middle rounds.

    • Francisco Garcia has signed a one-year deal with the Rockets, according to his agent, Aaron Goodwin.
Advice: Goodwin denied the report of a Garcia-Rockets, two-year agreement last week, so the two parties went with a short-term deal instead. He'll join a team with a bit less depth than last year, but he's not a lock for consistent minutes.

    • Aaron Goodwin, agent for Francisco Garcia, said on Friday that the report of his client agreeing to deal with Rockets is false.
Advice: "There's no agreement reached," Goodwin said. Garcia was reportedly signed for a two-year deal, but this report is more than enough to suggest he's still a free agent. He'll be looking at a short-term deal and a team like the Jazz could be an option for Garcia.

    • The Houston Rockets intend to re-sign unrestricted free agent Francisco Garcia, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle
Advice: In answering a Twitter follower's question about Garcis, Feigen said both the team and Garcia are planning on a reunion but haven't come to an agreement yet. Garcia averaged 5.7 points, 1.3 three-pointers, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 54 games with the Rockets last year and would hold little fantasy value as a bench player with Houston or any other team.
