  • Hassan Whiteside (hand) expected to play Tues
Hassan Whiteside (hand) is expected to play on Tuesday.

Advice: Whiteside will come off the bench behind starting center Chris Andersen. His pain tolerance is a main concern for the Heat, as well as the fear that he'll re-tear his stitches before the wound fully heals. His offense is likely to suffer due to the bulky protective bandage on his hand, but his talent is great enough that he belongs in all active lineups.

  • Dwight Howard (knee) questionable Wednesday
Dwight Howard (knee) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Sacramento.

Advice: Howard is going to sit either Wednesday's game vs. the Kings, or Thursday's game vs. the Mavericks, and owners can expect another update on his status following Wednesday morning's shootaround. When he sits, Joey Dorsey will slot into the starting center spot, although he can only be viewed as a rebounding specialist in extremely deep leagues. Josh Smith, however, will get all the run he can handle when Dwight is out of commission, and he's the guy that should be targeted in daily leagues.

  • Ryan Anderson questionable for Weds vs Lakers
Ryan Anderson (knee) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

Advice: Anderson went through his first full-court scrimmage on Tuesday and now has a chance to play against the Lakers. We'll update his status after Wednesday's shootaround, but fantasy owners with an extra roster spot will want to see if Anderson is available on waivers.

  • Hamilton slowly ramping back up for Minny
Justin Hamilton started for Gorgui Dieng (concussion) scored 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting (5-of-5 FTs) with four rebounds, one assist and one block over 25 minutes in the Wolves' 104-84 loss to the Jazz on Monday.

Advice: Hamilton continues to ramp his minutes back up after suffering a concussion and it's a shame because he was showing real mid-round upside at the time he got hurt. Dieng's absence helps him out a bit, but there should be more than enough room for him to produce regardless of Dieng's status.

  • Al Horford scores 18, rest coming Tuesday?
Al Horford scored 18 points against the Bucks on Monday with seven boards, two assists and two blocks in 34 minutes.

Advice: The Hawks are on the road on Tuesday, so Horford's fantasy owners should absolutely be expecting him to sit in that game. Mike Muscala would likely get a chance to build off his career-high 18 points from Saturday. Horford's fantasy owners should expect him to take a few more games off, as well.
