Player Notes

  • Delivers monster double-double
Allen finished Saturday's 97-83 victory over the Magic in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals with 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-6 FT), 18 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 35 minutes.

Advice: Allen and Evan Mobley formed a devastating tandem in the frontcourt, and Allen made his presence felt in the glass due to his length and tenacity defensively. Allen recorded his fifth double-double over his last six appearances, and the big man should continue to perform at a high level in a favorable matchup, regardless if he has to deal with Jonathan Isaac or Wendell Carter. Allen should remain as the starting center for Game 2 on Monday. Rotowire.com 46 minutes ago
  • Impressive on both ends Saturday
Mobley closed with 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 36 minutes during Saturday's 97-83 win over the Magic in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Mobley recorded only his second double-double since the beginning of April, but there's no question he did when it mattered the most. The promising big man averaged career-high marks in both rebounds and assists per game during the 2023-24 season, and while he holds a secondary role in the offensive scheme, he's putting up solid numbers in the scoring column as well. Mobley averaged 16.0 points per game over his final 12 regular-season appearances. Rotowire.com 47 minutes ago
  • Leads Cavs to Game 1 victory
Mitchell posted 30 points (11-21 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two rebounds, three assists and three steals in 36 minutes during Saturday's 97-83 win over the Magic in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: The Cavaliers delivered a strong showing on both ends of the court Saturday and had several standout performers, but Mitchell made his presence felt in the scoring column with a game-high 30 points. Mitchell also surpassed the 30-point mark in his last regular season appearances, and he'll aim to deliver another strong performance in Game 2 of the series Monday. After all, the Cavaliers will only go as far as Mitchell can carry them. Rotowire.com 49 minutes ago
  • Stuffs stat sheet in loss Saturday
Wagner posted 18 points (7-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 38 minutes during Saturday's 97-83 loss to Cleveland in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Paolo Banchero led the way for the Magic in this loss, and while Wagner had a rough outing from the field, he still salvaged his fantasy value by delivering a strong performance across the board, particularly on defense, with four steals-plus-blocks combined. Most of Wagner's value is tied to what he can do offensively, however, and on that note, he's now scored 18 or more points in six of last seven appearances dating back to the regular season. • Scores 24 in playoff debut
Banchero closed with 24 points (9-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-8 FT), seven rebounds and five assists across 41 minutes during Saturday's 97-83 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: The Magic fell short in the series opener against the Cavaliers, but Banchero had a solid showing and finished just three boards away from recording a double-double. Banchero was Orlando's most reliable scoring weapon during the regular season and posted 54 appearances with 20 or more points, so it wasn't shocking to see him reach that mark here. Banchero should operate as the Magic's primary offensive weapon for Game 2 on Monday. Rotowire.com 53 minutes ago
