  • Struggles in return
    Hardaway (ankle) posted two points (1-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt) and two rebounds over 17 minutes during Tuesday's 117-95 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Hardaway returned to action following a four-game absence due to an ankle injury. While he provides Dallas with another scoring option off the bench, Hardaway struggled to get going Tuesday and was deprioritized. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:30 pm
  • Strong performance in loss
    Gafford totaled 16 points (5-12 FG, 6-8 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and five blocks across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 117-95 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Gafford recorded a double-double in the loss, adding five blocks. It was arguably his best performance of the postseason and something the Mavericks are going to need more of should they hope to advance to the Conference Finals.   • Isaac Okoro scores 11 first-half points Tuesday
    Isaac Okoro got another start on Tuesday and contributed 11 points (4-of-11 FGs), one rebound, one assist and three triples against Boston.

    Advice: With Jarrett Allen (ribs) sidelined for a fourth straight game, Okoro remained in the starting unit once again. He provided a solid punch offensively in the first half, but he wasn’t able to contribute much after the break. Okoro is a solid defensive piece, and he is a valuable player when he is able to space the floor and knock down open shots. However, that hasn’t always been the case, which has limited his fantasy value through the first four seasons of his career. He’ll continue to smart until Allen returns to the lineup.   • Exercises player option
    Wood exercised his $3 million player option for the 2024-25 season Tuesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

    Advice: Wood was a sporadic part of the rotation in Los Angeles this season, appearing in 50 games with averages of 6.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.4 minutes. There could potentially be a lot of changes for the Lakers this offseason depending on whether or not LeBron James picks up his player option, so it's difficult to project Wood's role for next season at the moment.   • Puts up 20 points in loss Monday
    Gordon registered 20 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 106-80 loss to Minnesota in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Gordon played with tons of energy and tried to spark the rest of the team throughout the game, but his efforts were unsuccessful. This game snapped a three-game streak of Gordon not being able to reach double-digit figures in the scoring column, and Gordon needs to remain a valuable offensive alternative for the Nuggets if they want to have a shot at turning the series around, especially given the struggles of both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter.   • Shines off bench in Game 2
    Alexander-Walker accumulated 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 30 minutes during Monday's 106-80 win over the Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: As has been the case throughout the entire playoff run, Alexander-Walker was impressive and provided a scoring punch off the bench, unsettling the Nuggets with his long-range shooting and energy. Alexander-Walker averaged just 8.0 points per game during the regular season, but he's taken his play to another level in the playoffs, scoring in double digits in four of his six appearances while upping his scoring average to 11.3 points per game.   • Efficient double-double in win
    Towns closed with 27 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 106-80 win over the Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Towns was tasked with more responsibility on the defensive end since Rudy Gobert (personal) was unavailable for this contest. Even though he had to deal with Nikola Jokic on both ends of the court, Towns thrived and posted a great stat line. This was Towns' third double-double over his last four playoff appearances, and he's expected to return to his role at power forward in case Gobert is ready to return for Game 3 of the series, scheduled for Friday.   • Efficient in Game 2 victory
    Edwards notched 27 points (11-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), two rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Monday's 106-80 win over the Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Edwards didn't repeat the 43-point performance from Game 1, but he was highly efficient in this one and played a prominent role in the victory while also ending just three assists away from a double-double. Edwards has been almost unstoppable since the start of the playoffs and is averaging 32.3 points per game while keeping the Timberwolves undefeated through six postseason contests so far.   • Kyle Anderson records full line in spot start
    Kyle Anderson accounted for six points (3-of-8 FGs), nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 26 minutes in Monday’s Game 2 win over Denver.

    Advice: With Rudy Gobert (personal) back in Minnesota, Anderson was the choice to fill the void in the starting lineup. SloMo was most impactful as a rebounder, with seven of his nine coming on the offensive end of the floor. Given how well the Timberwolves have played, those extra possessions seriously damaged the reigning champions. Add in eight assists and three “stocks,” and Anderson had a solid night at the office.
