Player Notes

  • Dorture Chamber: Brandon Ingram held to 8 points
Brandon Ingram struggled in the Game 4 loss on Monday, finishing with just eight points (2-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks in a 97-89 loss to the Thunder.

Advice: In a category fantasy league, BI was actually able to contribute some value, specifically on the defensive end. However, in the playoffs, they need him to make an impact as a scorer. Unfortunately, Lu Dort got in the way of that. Over the course of the series, Ingram averaged 14.3 points on 34.5% shooting from the floor, which simply won’t get the job done with Zion Williamson sidelined. It was a successful season for New Orleans, as they finished with 49 wins, but that didn’t help the much in the tightly-contested Western Conference playoff race. This was BI’s fifth year with the team, and they have yet to win a playoff series. Expectations will certainly be high heading into next season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:49 pm
  • Josh Giddey knocks down four more triples vs. NOR
Josh Giddey lit up the Pelicans with 14 points (5-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, one assist, one block and four triples on Monday.

Advice: Giddey’s shot has been a weakness for the team’s offense all year, but he has improved drastically over the course of the season. He may have peaked during Games 3 and 4, as he knocked down four 3-pointers in each to help the Thunder complete the sweep and advance to the second round. His season-high of five 3-pointers also came in New Orleans, so he seems to really enjoy shooting on these rims. Unfortunately, he’ll have to adjust to shooting in either Dallas or Los Angeles, depending on the results of that series. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:38 pm
  • Starts second half
Caldwell-Pope (ankle) is starting the second half of Monday's Game 5 against the Lakers, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: Caldwell-Pope likely received additional treatment while in the locker room at halftime and will try yet again to give it a go. He suffered a left ankle sprain during the first quarter of Monday's matchup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:28 pm
  • Caleb Martin contributes 18/5/2/2 line in loss
Caleb Martin turned in a solid stat line on Monday with 18 points (6-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, two steals and four 3-pointers against the Celtics.

Advice: Martin had a solid second half, as he scored 13 of his 18 points after the break. He bounced back after only scoring five points in their last game, which came after he dropped 21 points in the Game 2 win. Martin has had to play big minutes in this series with Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier out, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. may join them on the sidelines for their next game after he injured his hip in this one. Martin should continue to contribute decent numbers, but that shouldn’t make him a player to target in fantasy drafts next year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:04 pm
  • Jayson Tatum turns in 20/11/5 line in Game 4 win
Jayson Tatum recorded a double-double on Monday with 20 points (5-of-14 FGs), 11 rebounds, five assists and two triples against Miami in Game 4.

Advice: Tatum didn’t have his best shooting night, but he was still able to make an impact in a convincing win that puts them up 3-1 in the series. He has shot below 40% in the three games that they have won this series, so his below average shooting nights haven’t hurt the team much. With Kristaps Porzingis exiting early due to what could be an Achilles injury, Tatum may have to continue to provide them with high level rebounding numbers for the remainder of the series. • Available for Game 5
Vanderbilt (foot) has been cleared to play in Monday's Game 5 against the Nuggets, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Vanderbilt will have an opportunity to make his postseason debut after proving his health in pregame workouts. It's unclear as to how much he'll factor into the rotation after failing to see any action since Feb. 1, but he'll be ready to go if called upon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:15 pm
  • Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (ankle) cleared to play
Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (left ankle sprain) will play in Game 4 against the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: JRE played a total of five minutes over the first two games of this series, with all of that coming in the blowout loss in Game 2. He’ll like only see the floor in this game if the score gets lopsided. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:41 pm
  • Chris Livingston active vs. Pacers Tuesday
Chris Livingston has been upgraded from out active for Tuesday’s Bucks-Pacers game.

Advice: Livingston has been sidelined by an illness as of late but his removal from the injury report won’t make him relevant. He’s not part of the Bucks’ rotation when healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:01 pm
  • Khris Middleton (ankle) probable Tuesday vs.
Khris Middleton (right ankle sprain) is listed as questionable for the Bucks’ Tuesday matchup with the Pacers.

Advice: Middleton has put together a pair of strong outings since spraining his ankle and will have to carry a heavy offensive workload if Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are ruled out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:52 pm
