Welcome back gentlemen!
Please welcome Marco, joining us this year for the first time. And welcome back Paul, our former champion! Marco is our Hoops Ascendancy champion and Paul was the runner up, putting him first in line when Jamil unfortunately had to step down for life reasons. I'm excited to have them both aboard, after seeing what they did in the hyper competitive Ascendancy! In fact, last season was Marco's second consecutive trip to the finals, so we know he's legit.
Of course the Promotion and Relegation system is in full effect, so the stakes are just as high as they were last year, except the competition just got better. So bring your A game!
No new stat categories this year, but Yahoo! has finally added an Injured List option, so we will have 2 IL slots available to us.
Six keepers are still mandatory for this upcoming season. Your last six picks will be automatically filled with those six players. Then, if you choose to keep a 7th player on your roster, you can do so by using your 1st round pick. If you choose to keep an 8th player, you can do so by using your 2nd round pick. This is the last year that system is in effect. I will post a separate message detailing the new draft system shortly. If there are ever any questions, my number is 678-851-9254. I try to respond to texts right away.
I'd like to have this draft as early as possible so the newcomers can fine tune their teams before the season starts. It will be a manual draft, which requires availability and accessibility by all owners. Whether you check the live updates on the wall here in the league homepage, on our 365 Fantasy facebook group, text me or hit me up on google hangouts, every owner is expected to be aware of when their next pick is coming up. But there is no time limit on any pick once the draft commences.
