Howdy,
Thanks for joining the Fresh New OG Big Balla's Dynasty League.
Some of my dynasty leagues are moving to Fantrax, They may or may not survive, so i decided to take back control and dust of my commissioners hat and create a new dynasty league. I am inviting the best managers from these previous dynasty leagues, to create an awesome, fun, and competitive dynasty league, full of the best managers I know.
Since this is a new dynasty the best way to draft will be to Auction! Draft is currently set for Sun Oct 7 5:00pm PDT date and time subject to change.
Most of you should be familiar with the set up
10 active roster spots, 5 bench and two IL -
PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, C, Util, Util, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IL, IL
Standard H2H scoring - 9 Cats
FG%, FT%, 3PTM, PTS, REB, AST, ST, BLK, TO
Dynasty settings will be pretty basic
keep 10 drop 5-7 depending if you have IL or not.
Deciding draft order.
1st place - 12th pick
2nd place - 11th pick
3rd place - 10th pick
4th place - 9th pick
5th place - 8th pick
6th place - 7th pick
Consolation bracket will be to decide who gets 1st pick
7th place - 1st pick (winner of consolation bracket)
8th place - 2nd pick
9th place - 3rd pick
10th place - 4th pick
11th place - 5th pick
12 place - 6th pick
This is because im Fucking sick and tired of teams tanking exp in the consolation bracket of benching their entire teams etc etc. last place team gets 12 pick too bad get gud. Yes it can be exploited if a playoff worthy team doesn't feel like they can win the championship and plays out of it to try and beat the worse teams, that is better than shitty managing/tanking.
The following year once keepers are submitted we will have a slow offline rookie/free agent draft. This is easier than finding a time everyone can make the draft and in my opinion makes it more fun... more trades and league discussion. more work for me but it is worth it in my opinion.
