How the league works.
This is a Keeper league drafted online. The draft order is set up based on last years record. Last place gets the first pick and first place gets the last pick. If you are new in the league you get first pick. If there is more than 1 new manager the order will be determined by their overall fantasy performance and experience. The draft is an auction draft. There is a total of 10 players on each team. You also have limited ADD/DROPS.
Keepers
If you have keepers to pick you can keep up to 5 players. If you keep more than 3 or more you must keep at least 1 Guard, 1 Forward and 1 Center. The cost of the keepers is determined by Yahoo. Keepers must be chosen by the designated date. Please review the league settings for all rules and scoring.
Please chose Keepers by the specified date, September 7th. You can keep up to 5 players. Each player has a dollar value placed on them by Yahoo. You have $125 to select your keepers. Whatever money is left over you will get ½ of that added to your draft funds of $200. If you go over your keeper funds the amount will be taken off of your draft funds. If you need help please ask. I will do my best to help you.
Pre-Draft Trade Rule
You can trade 1 player for 1 player before the draft. This traded player will not count against your keeper funds or your draft funds. This will not count as 1 of your keepers either. The trade must be posted on the message board and excepted on the message board. Once posted the trade is final. This must be done before the Draft order is set up. Only 1 trade per manager allowed pre-draft.
The Draft
The draft is an auction draft. Each manager has $200 to draft with. If there are any keeper funds left ½ of this will be added to your draft funds. Anything over the $125 keeper funds will be subtracted from your draft funds.
Conduct Rules
Please, no profanity in this league. If you have a complaint please email me first and try to resolve any problems and try not to post negative postings on the message board. Remember this is supposed to be fun.
There are some rules I am posting that pertain to all leagues I currently host. I am going to start posting this in all my leagues. In the past, there have been some unpleasant experiences.
1. Collusion-If you are caught 1st time all your players will be put on the bench for 1 week. The 2nd time 4 weeks. The 3rd time whole season. Keep in mind your team will be locked during this period. If you are caught and try to cause trouble after the fact you will get 4 weeks additional penalty. If you continue to cause trouble after this the entire year penalty will be imposed with players on the bench and your team locked.
2. Causing Trouble-The same penalty as in rule 1, 1 week, 4 weeks and the whole season.
3. Profanity or Inappropriate Postings- the same penalty as in rule 1, however, there is 1 exception. Any pornographic pictures and your team will be locked immediately and you will be reported to Yahoo and the police.
For those of you wondering why I have posted this is because I have had to deal with this far too often. This year I had some manager think it was funny to post porn pics in my Baseball league.
I know sometimes things happen no need to post profanity either. Just contact me privately I will do my best to help with what I am able to help with.
