Welcome to both old and new managers, and belated congratulations to last year's co-champions, Gufo67 and Yah Mo B Theres! We can only hope to have a similarly tight finish at the end of this season.

Speaking of this season, PLEASE DESIGNATE YOUR KEEPERS BY NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT PACIFIC TIME ON OCTOBER 15th, after which I will lock the keeper selections. Also, be sure to SET YOUR DRAFT RANKINGS BY NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT PACIFIC TIME ON OCTOBER 22nd. I will initiate the AutoDraft shortly thereafter.

As with last year, there is no limit on keepers. Simply be aware that keepers will be slotted at the top of the draft - e.g., selecting one keeper player means you forfeit your first round pick, selecting two keepers means you forefeit your first and second round picks, etc.

As always, new teams get to draft first. The problem comes later. There were two ties (1st and 8th places). Traditionally, ties are resolved by determining which team scored more points over the course of the season. By that measure, Gufo67 (12,514 points scored) won the league and will pick in the last slot, right after Yah Mo B Theres (11,577 points scored). In direct contradiction to the foregoing but in order to avoid the appearance impropriety, the eighth place tie will be resolved by having Killa Beez (10,945 points scored) pick ahead of Dedicated to Winning (my team, with 10,858 points scored).

There's barely more than two weeks before the keeper deadline, so crunch the numbers, get out your tarot cards, or read your tea leaves, or whatever.
