Hey Everyone,

With things winding-down, our League remains competitive at the top. Just 16 points separate first place from third place. After third place, there is a bit of a drop-off, which may be related to the Killa Beez tank job.

While I will not be punishing Killa Beez or dropping them from the League, I do think that the competitiveness issue needs to be addressed. Accordingly, I intend to make a minor adjustment to the keeper system next season in an effort to: 1) address imbalances created by Killa Beez scuttling its roster; 2) generally make things more crowded at the top of the standings; and, 3) give the teams near the bottom a ray of hope. Accordingly, I hope to see all of you back again in the fall for Dedicated to Winning's 8th season.

In closing, Gufo 67 is going for its second title in three years and Niz is trying to repeat. I never thought I would say this but, "GO Jazz Army"! If you are within striking range of Gufo 67 or Niz in any stat category, I encourage you to try to steal whatever points you can!

PLEASE DESIGNATE YOUR KEEPERS BY NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT PACIFIC TIME ON OCTOBER 7th, after which I will lock the keeper selections. Also, be sure to SET YOUR DRAFT RANKINGS BY NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT PACIFIC TIME ON OCTOBER 14th. I will initiate the AutoDraft shortly thereafter.

As with prior years, there is no limit on keepers. Simply be aware that keepers will be slotted at the top of the draft - e.g., selecting one keeper player means you forfeit your first round pick, selecting two keepers means you forefeit your first and second round picks, etc.

The draft order is based on the reverse order of finish from last season. Accordingly, teams will pick in the following order:

1) full court
2) Muck Fichigan
3) Yah Mo B Theres
4) Overspeed Trip
5) Ballers
6) Toronto Stallions
7) Any Magic w/Wizards (formerly Wizards magic 1)
8) Jazz Army
9) GouKou's Nifty Team
10) Dedicated to Winning
11) Killa Beez
12) Wabos
13) Derek
14) Taller Than Yao
15) Jason's Team
16) Hail Hail Hailstone
17) Spare Fleas
18) The Karate Pimps
19) Gufo67
20) Niz

While the start of the NBA season is nearly one month away, the Keeper deadline for our league is just a few weeks away. Put in work, so that you can be the one who wrests the crown from Niz this year!
