Hey,
So I tried something new with the waivers this year, which no one really weighed in on pre-draft (probably cause football is always distracting at the start of the year).
But now we're 5 weeks in and I wanted to open this up for opinions. I was trying to ultimately keep guys on waivers during the week, and open the floor on the weekend but that doesn't seem to be how it works in practice. It's especially troublesome if you have a late week injury and can't pick up a sub on Sunday night.
I'm usually against changing rules after the season has started, but a couple other managers have brought this up to me as well so I wanted to get more opinions on this. Keep it for this year, revert to the old way, only put cut players on waivers like this but unowned free agents can be picked up?
Let me know what ya think via msg board, email, facebook, text, what-have-you.
PS. Yahoo does note any changes to waiver rules can cause a 1 time craziness on pending waivers....they don't elaborate, but that comes with the package. Don't know if it cancels all or processes all or what. -
I changed it so all players are on waivers all week, and then it processes Fri, Sat, Sun as we get close to setting lineups for next week. Let me know your honest thoughts, I'm open to suggestions.
