  • Pacers decline team option on Lavoy Allen
The Pacers have declined the $4 million team option on Lavoy Allen.

Advice: It's not surprising as the Pacers get ready to rebuild. Allen showed he could play both big spots for the Pacers, but most teams may not want the 6'9" Allen as a backup big for next season. He's still likely to get some interest at age 28. Rotoworld.com 32 minutes ago
  • The Kings are releasing Arron Afflalo
The Kings are releasing Arron Afflalo.

Advice: The Kings added some really nice perimeter depth on Thursday with De'Aaron Fox, Justin Jackson and Frank Mason. Plus, they could also be adding Bogdan Bogdanovic for next year, so they may have several new pieces to their backcourt compared to the start of the 2016-17 season. As for Afflalo, he is still 31 and he may be looking to join a contender next year. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:53 pm
  • Dante Exum will play in summer league
Dante Exum will play in the Utah Jazz Summer League, but not in Las Vegas.

Advice: The Jazz are still waiting for Exum to come around. It's not often you see a player with as much experience as Exum play in summer league, but the 2014 pick has a slew of holes in his game on both ends. Coach Quin Snyder and general manager Dennis Lindsey both challenged Exum this summer, so they'll probably be using him a ton when he's active next month. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:40 pm
  • Ante Zizic may not play Summer League
Ante Zizic may not play in the Summer League due to visa issues.

Advice: This would be a huge blow for Celtics fans and for fans of the Summer League in general. Zizic was the 23rd overall pick in 2016 and is one of the top prospects in all of Europe. The Celtics could certainly use more depth at center and Tyler Zeller's contract for next season isn't guaranteed. so Zizic would be in the mix for minutes if the Celtics can bring him over to the states. • Yabusele (foot) out for Summer League
Guerschon Yabusele (foot) will not play for the Celtics during Summer League.

Advice: He was never expected to play after undergoing surgery to remove bone spurs from the top of both feet back in May, but now it's official. The Celtics selected two forwards in the draft and have loads of cap space to pursue free agents such as Gordon Hayward or Blake Griffin, so the Dancing Bear has his work cut out for him to crack the rotation in 2017-18. • 76ers 'likely' to bring Furkan Korkmaz over
76ers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo said it's "likely" that Furkan Korkmaz will join the team in 2017-18.

Advice: This is a complete 180 from Colangelo's comments a few weeks ago, so Korkmaz must've made a strong impression at a recent workout in Philly. Korkmaz is going to play for the Turkish U-20 team this summer, so it's highly unlikely that he will be able to play in the Summer League as well. If the 76ers want to bring him over, they will first have to negotiate a $2 million buyout with his team in Europe. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:49 am
  • Isaia Cordinier to play Summer League w/ ATL
Isaia Cordinier will join the Hawks for Summer League.

Advice: The No. 44 overall selection of the 2016 NBA draft spent last season overseas, but he will be looking to prove to the Hawks that he's ready to come over with a strong showing this summer. It sure seems like the Hawks are ready to rebuild, so Cordinier could be in the mix for minutes in his rookie season. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:10 am
  • Kelly Oubre (PRP) back on the court already
Kelly Oubre is already back on the court after undergoing a PRP injection in his right knee earlier this month.

Advice: Just about three weeks after the procedure, Oubre being cleared to do on-court work is a positive development. Although he won't play in summer league, Oubre should be all systems go by the time training camp rolls around in a few months. He could play a big role for Washington if Otto Porter, who is expected to receive a lucrative payday as a restricted free agent, decides to sign elsewhere. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:18 pm
  • Report: Suns still active in Porzingis market
Marquese Chriss has come up in trade discussions in a potential deal for Kristaps Porzingis, sources told ESPN's Ian Begley.

Advice: Begley makes it sounds like the Suns have made varying offers, so it's not necessarily the case that Chriss, Dragan Bender and the No. 4 pick—all of which have reportedly been on the table—have all been presented as a package deal. Nonetheless, no agreement is close and time is working against interested suitors in their desire to chase The Unicorn. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:57 pm
  • Report: Suns shop Jared Dudley to Pelicans?
The Suns have reportedly spoken to the Pelicans about a trade involving Jared Dudley, likely in exchange for second-round picks.

Advice: New Orleans holds the No. 40 pick, in addition to the No. 52 pick they acquired from the Wizards for Tim Frazier. Dudley would give the Pelicans an alternative to guys like Solomon Hill, Quincy Pondexter and Dante Cunningham, but it's obviously not a given that this deal will come to fruition. • Knicks asking for a ton in KP trade
The Knicks are ask the Celtics for the No. 3 pick, Brooklyn's pick next year, Jaylen Brown and Jae Crowder for Kristaps Porzingis, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

Advice: This version of the deal wouldn't include Joakim Noah's contract, per the report. This sure is a lot to ask from the Celtics, so it's no surprise they're not willing to meet this asking price. Jaylen Brown also has a close relationship with former Knicks president Isiah Thomas. • Bulls still undecided on Rajon Rondo
The Bulls will not make a decision on Rajon Rondo's team option until next week, according to Vincent Goodwill of CSN Chicago.

Advice: This isn't surprising as the Bulls could have their roster look very different in 12 hours. The Bulls could be dealing away Jimmy Butler and would likely come away with either a point guard or a pick to select one, so those will be factors on Rondo. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:44 am
  • Isaiah Whitehead says he's going to Summer Lg
Isaiah Whitehead said he'll be playing in Summer League.

Advice: The high-energy guard should be a fun sight to see. The arrival of D'Angelo Russell makes it interesting for Whitehead, who has the size to potential play off the ball more. He never really came around as a passer, so the Nets may try to groom him to be more of an off-ball guy. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:01 am
  • Wizards' president supports Marcin Gortat
Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld confirmed that he's spoken to Marcin Gortat about his future with the franchise, adding, "He's going to be a big part of what we're doing."

Advice: Gortat questioned his fit in Washington after they were eliminated from the playoffs, saying that he'd sacrificed more than anyone without due appreciation. "[Gortat] has averaged a double-double for four years," Grunfeld said. "He's been in the second round for three out of those four years ... Everybody has frustration after a tough loss and a tough series. [He] is with us." Considering Gortat is still under contract for two more seasons, that was never truly in doubt. • Spurs make Jonathon Simmons a restricted FA
The Spurs have extended a $1.6 million qualifying offer to make Jonathon Simmons a restricted free agent.

Advice: Simmons was quietly effective last season, especially while filling in for injured Kawhi Leonard in the playoffs -- in four games vs. the Warriors, he averaged 15.3 points, 1.3 triples, 2.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 27.8 minutes. Danny Green and LaMarcus Aldridge have been mentioned in recent trade rumors, and Pau Gasol is expected to re-negotiate a deal with the Spurs, so the team's willingness to match an offer-sheet for Simmons hinges on a variety of factors. • Report: Bulls undecided on option for Rondo
The Bulls are still undecided as to whether or not they will pick up their team option worth $13.4 million for Rajon Rondo for the 2017-18 season, according to sources of Sean Highkin.

Advice: Chicago is reportedly actively shopping Jimmy Butler, which hints that they're eager to begin a rebuild, and if that's the case it wouldn't make much sense to keep the 31-year-old point guard on their roster. The three alphas experiment featuring a Rondo, Dwyane Wade and Butler backcourt didn't go very well last season, so in terms of fantasy hoops, Rondo would be best served wearing a different jersey next season.
