    • Woj: Porzingis likely to miss Games 1 and 2 of ECF
      According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Kristaps Porzingis (right soleus strain) is unlikely to be available for Games 1 and 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

      Advice: Injured during Game 4 of Boston’s first-round matchup with Miami, Porzingis missed Game 5 of that series and the second-round (five games) against Cleveland. On May 4, the 7-foot-3 big man said he was “slowly making progress” in his recovery, with the Celtics considering him to be week-to-week. Regardless of who the Celtics draw in the conference finals, Games 1 and 2 will be played on Tuesday (May 21) and Thursday (May 23) of next week. According to Wojnarowski, there is optimism that Porzingis will be available at some point in the series, with Boston taking on either New York or Indiana.       Advice: Turner was responsible for four of the Pacers' 12 three-point makes Tuesday, his most in the postseason since Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs against the Bucks. He extended his streak of two-plus blocks to three games but committed a team-high four turnovers. Turner is averaging 17.6 points on 49.3 percent shooting (including 45.3 percent on 3.8 3PA/G), 6.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 blocks over 32.4 minutes per game in the postseason.       Myles Turner logged 30 minutes in Tuesday’s 121-91 loss to the Knicks, amassing 16 points (6-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks, and four 3-pointers.

      Advice: To begin the third quarter, Turner got hot, hitting three 3-pointers to trim the Pacers’ deficit to seven points. That was as close as Indiana would get, as the Knicks’ improved defense and dominance of the offensive boards were too much to overcome. New York grabbed 20 offensive rebounds, nine fewer than Indiana’s total rebound tally. Turner struggled with Isaiah Hartenstein, who corralled 12 offensive boards, and that will have to change for Game 6 on Friday night. New York holds a 3-2 series lead.       Holmgren ended Monday's 100-96 win over Dallas in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 18 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 40 minutes.

      Advice: Holmgren stepped his game up on a night where Jalen Williams struggled with his shot, and the star rookie made his presence felt on both ends of the court, showing efficiency in his touch near the rim and being his usual disruptive self on the defensive end.
