      Jalen Brunson shot 18-of-35 from the field and 6-of-7 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 121-91 win over the Pacers, scoring 44 points with four rebounds, seven assists, and two 3-pointers in 43 minutes.

      Advice: The home team has not lost a game in this series, as the Knicks rolled the Pacers in Game 5 on Tuesday. And Brunson was scalding hot, scoring 28 points in the first half alone. He would finish with 44 points and seven assists, the fifth time this postseason the Knicks point guard has tallied at least 40 points and five assists in a game. There have been nine such games in Knicks franchise history (Patrick Ewing with two, Bernard King and Carmelo Anthony with one each). The additional rest Brunson and the other Knicks mainstays received during Sunday’s Game 4 blowout appeared to benefit New York, and they’ll have two days to recover for Game 6 on Friday.       Advice: Strus led all players in Monday's contest in threes made while ending as one of four Cavaliers with double-digit scoring and handing out a team-high-tying assist total along with a pair of steals. Strus, who also hauled in seven boards, posted a new playoff high in threes made and notched his second game with 10 or more points in the series against the Celtics.       Max Strus lit up the Celtics with 15 points (5-of-12 FGs), seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and five 3-pointers against Boston in Game 4 on Monday.

      Advice: Strus got off to a hot start in this game and entered the break with 15 points on five triples as they trailed by just five points. However, things were much different in the second half. He missed all five of his shot attempts but added six rebounds and six assists before fouling out late in the fourth. It was a strange half for Strus, since most of his production usually comes from beyond the arc, as he showcased in the first half.       Advice: Aaron Gordon had an excellent showing and Jamal Murray made some clutch buckets throughout the game, but Jokic was the engine that kept the team going. For the second game in a row, he came through whenever Denver needed him the most. Jokic is expected to lead the Nuggets as the series returns to Denver for a pivotal Game 5 on Tuesday, and he's averaging 26.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game in the series.       Nikola Jokic provided 35 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, three steals, a block and a three-pointer across 39 minutes in Sunday’s victory over Minnesota.

      Advice: Joker led his team in scoring and finished with his most points of this postseason run. He was a bit light on the peripheral contributions (especially for his lofty standards), but Jokic was still masterful across the board as he led his team to a much-needed win to even up the series with Minnesota. Jokic and Co. dropped their first two games of this series at Ball Arena, and after two road wins, they should be fired up for Tuesday’s home date with the Timberwolves.     • Burn the tape: Jalen Brunson struggles in blowout
      Jalen Brunson shot 6-of-17 from the field and 6-of-9 from the foul line in Sunday’s 121-89 loss to the Pacers, scoring 18 points with three rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 31 minutes.

      Advice: Brunson and the Knicks were never in Game 4, as the Pacers won the first quarter by a 34-14 margin and did not look back. New York’s star point guard missed his first six shot attempts and finished Sunday’s loss 0-of-5 from beyond the arc. If there’s anything the Knicks can take solace in, it’s that Sunday’s result only counts for one game, regardless of the margin.       Advice: Strus continues to deliver nothing but mediocrity, scoring fewer than 15 points for the eighth time in the past nine games, all during the playoffs. If the Cavaliers have any chance of beating the Celtics, they are going to need Strus to rediscover his form from earlier in the season.       Advice: Brunson's final stat line looks decent overall, but the fact that he needed 26 shots to score 26 points can't be overlooked. The star guard has been one of the league's best players during the postseason, and the Knicks need him to be more efficient ahead of a pivotal Game 4 on Sunday.       Advice: Jokic did a little bit of everything for Denver in a much-needed Game 3 win on the road, leading all players in Friday's contest in rebounds, assists and blocks while adding a team-high-tying trio of steals and concluding as one of three Nuggets with 20 or more points. Jokic, who ended one dime shy of a triple-double, tallied his second straight double-double and has posted at least 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in every game of the conference semifinals thus far.
