  • Joel Embiid returned to action on Monday December 5. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:00 am
  • Rudy Gobert scores 14 w/ 17 boards, 5 blocks
Rudy Gobert scored 14 points with 17 rebounds, five blocks, one assist and one steal in 39 minutes in a 107-101 win over the Lakers on Monday.

Advice: He tied his season highs in rebounds and blocks, shooting 4-of-7 from the field and 6-of-11 from the line. Gobert has been feasting all season long with averages of 10.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, and he's currently flirting with third-round value in standard leagues. He should have a big day against the Suns on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:48 pm
  • Gordon Hayward scores 23 in win over Lakers
Gordon Hayward scored 23 points on 7-of-16 shooting in a 107-101 win over the Lakers on Monday.

Advice: The Jazz have won six out of their last eight games and Hayward has scored 22 or more points in each of those. He added six rebounds, five assists, two steals and three triples in 36 minutes Monday, but his value could take a small hit if George Hill (toe) is able to return on Tuesday to face the Suns. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:35 pm
  • Jordan Clarkson plays 38 minutes in loss
Jordan Clarkson played 38 minutes in Monday's loss to the Jazz, scoring 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting.

Advice: It was just the second time this season that he played 38 minutes, but the Lakers had to ride both him and Lou Williams with Jose Calderon (hamstring), Nick Young (calf) and D'Angelo Russell all out. Clarkson added five rebounds, one triple and three turnovers and should see a nice bump in value at least for the next couple weeks. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:28 pm
  • Lou Williams lights up Jazz for 38 points
Lou Williams lit up the Jazz for 38 points, seven assists, six rebounds, one steal and four triples in 34 minutes on Monday.

Advice: Incredible. This comes on the heels of a 40-point effort against the Grizzlies on Saturday, so he's clearly stepping up for a Lakers team that recently lost Jose Calderon (hamstring) and Nick Young (calf) to injuries. He hit 13-of-27 shots from the field and hit all eight of his free throws. D'Angelo Russell (knee) will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, and with Williams playing out of his mind right now, he's a very nice sell-high candidate. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:16 pm
  • Brandon Ingram struggles in start at PG
Brandon Ingram made his first career start at point guard on Monday vs. the Jazz, but struggled with four points on 1-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, two assists and one block in 25 minutes.

Advice: He got into some early foul trouble and never really looked comfortable out there. Jose Calderon (hamstring) is out for several weeks in addition to Nick Young (calf), so the minutes are going to be there for the No. 2 overall pick, especially with his ability to play four positions for LA. He's a nice stash for the stretch run. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:09 pm
  • Myles Turner quiet in laughable blowout
Myles Turner hit 3-of-8 shots for six points, five rebounds and two blocks in 24 minutes on Monday.

Advice: The Warriors literally ran circles around the Pacers in this one, finishing with an 11-point lead after one, a 20-point lead at halftime and a final score of 142-106. Turner has been a little disappointing at times this season, but is still getting it done for his owners. Don't let this game worry you, as it was basically a practice session for the Warriors in front of 20,000 fans. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:06 pm
  • Nicolas Batum scores 14 w/ 15 rebounds
Nicolas Batum scored 14 points with 15 rebounds, seven assists and two turnovers in 37 minutes against Dallas on Monday.

Advice: Batum shot 5-of-14 from the field and missed all six of his 3-pointers. but was able to hit all four of his freebies from the line. He's averaging 11.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.2 3-pointers over his last five games, but he's only shooting 33.3 percent from the field in that span. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:00 pm
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist double-doubles
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist double-doubled in Monday’s win over the Mavericks, finishing with 11 points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes.

Advice: This was his fifth double-double of the season. MKG added one assist and one block with zero turnovers, hitting 5-of-11 from the field and 1-of-1 from the line. He’s scored in double digits in six straight games, but he’s a low-end asset in standard leagues because he’s yet to make a 3-pointer this season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:57 pm
  • Troy Daniels cooking off Memphis bench
After scoring a career-high 31 points on Saturday, Troy Daniels came off the Memphis bench on Monday to hit 10-of-20 shots, seven 3-pointers and 2-of-2 free throws for 29 points, two assists and nothing else, which would include only one turnover in 44 minutes.

Advice: Granted, this was a double-overtime affair, but this kid came out of nowhere and is killing it, scoring 29, 31, 19 and 19 points in each of his last four games, and has knocked down 20 3-pointers during that stretch, which is 5.0 per game! The Money Green light is ON and Daniels is killing it. But he could quickly fall back to earth once Chandler Parson and James Ennis are over their injuries, which may not happen anytime soon. While Daniels is likely to fade just as quickly as he appeared on the scene, he's worth grabbing right now. And if he does it again vs. the Sixers on Tuesday night, we may call him a must-own player until further notice. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:50 pm
  • Tony Allen posts big double-double in 2OT win
Tony Allen hit 9-of-14 shots for 19 points, 14 rebounds, three steals and a block in 42 minutes of Monday's intense 110-108 double-overtime win over the Pelicans.

Advice: This was easily the best game of the season for Allen and the two overtimes helped. He had a season high in points, rebounds, minutes, shots and makes, while his previous season highs were just 12 points and nine rebounds. He's averaging 11.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals over his last five, but that number is clearly inflated by tonight's game. Give him a look, but he still doesn't look close to being a must-own player in most instances. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:43 pm
  • Marc Gasol triple-doubles in double-OT win
Marc Gasol's crazy season continued on Monday when he had 28 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals, two blocks and three 3-pointers on 11-of-25 shooting in 46 minutes of Monday's 110-108 double-overtime win against the Pelicans.

Advice: Gasol is insane right now, knocking down threes and flirting with a Russell Westbrook-like line tonight. Gasol, never known for assists or 3-pointers, has hit a three in all but three games this season, and has racked up 19 dimes over his last two games. He's returning third-round value right now, but that arrow appears to be pointing up after this one. And over his last five games? He's averaging 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.6 blocks and 2.0 3-pointers on 50 percent shooting. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:37 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb scores 14 points off the bench
Jeremy Lamb scored 14 points with five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 21 minutes against the Mavericks on Monday.

Advice: He finished 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-3 from the line. Lamb has had a few big games since returning in late November, but he's also had some pretty awful duds as well. He's averaging 11.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 triples over his last five games, but he only saw 17.6 minutes per game in that span. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm
  • Troy Williams scores 11 in double-OT win
Troy Williams made another start for the Grizzlies and hit 5-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, four rebounds and a steal in Monday's double-overtime 110-108 win over the Pelicans.

Advice: Williams has been starting at small forward with James Ennis and Chandler Parsons hurting, but the other Troy, as in Daniels, has been outplaying him. Williams is averaging 8.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.4 steals, 0.6 3-pointers and is shooting 37 percent over his last five games. He's worth a short-term look, but only in very deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm
  • JaMychal Green grabs 15 boards in win
JaMychal Green hit just 2-of-5 shots and 1-of-3 free throws for five points on Monday, but also had 15 rebounds and a steal in 43 minutes of Monday's double-overtime win against the Pelicans.

Advice: Green has been a pleasant surprise this season, but has been up and down like a yo-yo over his last five games, at least in the scoring category, going for 5, 16, 8, 16 and 2 points. Over that stretch, he's averaging 9.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.6 steal and 0.8 blocks on 44 percent shooting. He might take a small hit once Zach Randolph is back from bereavement leave, but Green is someone you want to own either way. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:26 pm
  • Tarik Black sprains his ankle, done for night
Tarik Black sprained his right ankle on Monday vs. the Jazz and will not return.

Advice: X-rays were negative and he's day-to-day, but he's considered doubtful for Wednesday's game vs. Houston. He's averaging 15.6 minutes per game off the bench this season, so this doesn't have many fantasy implications. If anything, Thomas Robinson could pick up a handful of minutes if Black misses more time. He finished with seven points, five rebounds and two steals in 12 minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:25 pm
  • Dwight Powell scores 15 in 32 minutes
Dwight Powell scored 15 points with seven rebounds in 32 minutes off the bench on Monday vs. Charlotte.

Advice: Powell has a huge opportunity in front of him to produce, as Andrew Bogut hyperextended his right knee in the first quarter and wasn't able to return. With Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles) out indefinitely, that means Powell and Salah Mejri will have to hold down the fort if Bogut misses time. Powell added a block and shot 7-of-11 from the field and looks like the better pickup after Mejri logged just eight minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:23 pm
  • Langston Galloway scores career-high 26
Langston Galloway played 36 minutes off the bench, hit 9-of-19 shots and 6-of-13 3-pointers on his way to a career-best 26 points on Monday.

Advice: He only added two assist, but the six 3-pointers were fun. Galloway got the minutes and opportunity because both Jrue Holiday and E'Twaun Moore out with toe injuries. If you happened to take a flier on Galloway tonight, congratulations. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:22 pm
  • Tim Frazier hits 3-of-10 shots in start
Tim Frazier started with Jrue Holiday out with a toe injury and hit 3-of-10 shots for eight points, four rebounds, nine assists and three steals in 39 minutes of Monday's tough loss to the Grizzlies.

Advice: We were hoping for a little more, especially with the two overtimes, but Frazier at least came through with some decent numbers. The Pels are off until Thursday, so there's a pretty good chance Holiday will be back to reclaim his starting job by then. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:19 pm
  • Deron Williams scores 15 with 13 dimes
Deron Williams scored 15 points with 13 assists in Monday's loss to the Hornets.

Advice: It's his first double-double of the season, but he's only made a total of 12 appearances so far due to injuries. D-Will shot 6-of-18 from the field with one rebound and a pair of triples in 37 minutes, and coach Rick Carlisle said before the game that the PG has been cleared to consistently play minutes in the 30s. With Seth Curry hobbled by a knee sprain, D-Will is worth riding until the wheels inevitably fall off. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:18 pm
  • Harrison Barnes drops 29 points in loss
Harrison Barnes scored 29 points on 10-of-21 shooting in Monday's 109-101 loss to the Hornets.

Advice: Harry B was everywhere, racking up seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and two triples while hitting all seven of his free throws. With the Mavs banged up and possibly tanking, Barnes should be the best fantasy asset in Dallas the rest of the way as the clear focal point of the offense. He's returning top-60 value in standard leagues on the season with averages of 20.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.0 3-pointer on 45.9 percent shooting. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:14 pm
  • Anthony Davis goes 28-17-4 in loss
Anthony Davis had 28 points, 17 rebounds, a steal, four blocks and a 3-pointer on 10-of-27 shooting in 48 minutes of Monday's double-overtime 110-108 loss to the Grizzlies.

Advice: He was a little iffy with a foot injury coming in, but obviously looked great. Davis is playing at an incredibly high level and has managed to stay healthy thus far, but we're not even to Christmas yet. If history doesn't lie, Davis is still primed for some kind of leg injury at some point this season. But so far, so good. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:13 pm
  • Jonas Jerebko quiet in start for Celtics
Jonas Jerebko started over Amir Johnson on Monday and had six points, five rebounds, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes.

Advice: That's basically what he does off the bench, minus the blocks and steal, but he had one of his better games in recent memory with the two 3-pointers. If he sticks in the starting five, give him a look, but this move may have just been based on matching up with the small Rockets. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:05 pm
  • Eric Gordon tweaks his ankle, says he's fine
Eric Gordon tweaked his ankle in Monday's 107-106 win over the Celtics, but he said he's "fine."

Advice: He expects to practice on Tuesday and play on Wednesday vs. the Lakers, but we will put him on the injury report to be safe. Gordon scored 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting in the win with two assists, one rebound, one block and four triples in 31 minutes. He's scored 18 or more points in five straight games and needs to be in all fantasy lineups while he's hot. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:02 pm
  • Sam Dekker cools off on Monday
Sam Dekker had five points, four rebounds, a steal and a 3-pointer on 2-of-5 shooting in just 18 minuets on Monday.

Advice: Dekker was rolling, scoring a career-high 17 on Friday and hitting double figures in three straight games coming into this one. He looked much more like Sam Dekker tonight, and if you picked him up recently, it's not a bad idea to peruse the waiver wire tonight and see if there's a more consistent option out there. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:00 pm
  • Joel Embiid hits 5-of-15 shots Mon., out Tues
Joel Embiid hit just 5-of-15 shots and a 3-pointer for 16 points, four rebounds and five blocks in 24 minutes on Monday.

Advice: The Process wasn't great tonight and actually struggled a bit against Jusuf Nurkic. He was serviceable and saved his line with the blocks, but will sit out on Tuesday against the Grizzlies. Jahlil Okafor (stomach) is also out for that one, meaning Richaun Holmes could be a sneaky play tomorrow night. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:56 pm
  • Jonas Jerebko starting, Amir Johnson to bench
Jonas Jerebko will start over Amir Johnson on Monday vs. the Rockets.

Advice: It's likely just a matchup move for Boston, as Jerebko will be a better fit against Houston's Ryan Anderson. Unless we learn that this a permanent switch, it's safe to leave Jerebko on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:58 pm
  • Tim Frazier, Buddy Hield starting on Monday
Tim Frazier and Buddy Hield are starting against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Advice: Jrue Holiday (toe) and E'Twaun Moore (toe) have both been ruled out for Monday's game, but it's not clear if they will miss additional time. Frazier is the best bet to produce Monday, as Hield has been anything but consistent. Langston Galloway should get plenty of minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:45 pm
  • Anthony Davis (foot) will play Monday vs. MEM
Anthony Davis (right foot sprain) will play Monday vs. Memphis.

Advice: The Pelicans will limp into Monday's game with just nine healthy bodies, and with Jrue Holiday (toe) and E'Twaun Moore (toe) out, The Brow should be operating with a hefty usage rate. Fire him up. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:34 pm
  • Carlisle wants Williams to close out games
Rick Carlisle said that Deron Williams (calf) has been cleared to play minutes in the 30s, and he wants him on the floor to close out games.

Advice: Williams playing time has been steadily trending up ever since he made his return from the calf injury five games ago, and he actually got 31 minutes in his last time out. It sounds like Carlisle would like to get him closer to the 35-minute range, which will be nice for his fantasy value until he suffers his next inevitable injury. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:28 am
  • Anthony Davis (foot sprain) probable Monday
Anthony Davis (right foot sprain) is probable for Monday's game vs. Memphis.

Advice: Davis denied reports that he had X-rays on his foot after Sunday's game, but this confirms that he did tweak something and that he may not be 100 percent Monday night. Season-long owners can pencil him into lineups, but he's a little more risky than usual in DFS. He has battled a variety of ailments this season including minor knocks to his right shoulder and knee, but he's only missed one game so far. He's also playing 37.5 minutes per game, so the Pelicans are asking for trouble. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:34 am
  • Joel Embiid will play Monday, out Tuesday
Joel Embiid will play vs. the Nuggets on Monday and will sit out against the Grizzlies on Tuesday.

Advice: Embiid's minute restriction has been bumped up to 28 minutes, and the Sixers will likely need all 28 on Monday, as Jahlil Okafor (gastroenteritis) is questionable and Robert Covington (left knee, flu symptoms) is out. Embiid has been incredibly productive despite limited minutes all season and will be heavily owned in all DFS formats on Monday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:36 am
  • Anthony Davis denies having X-rays on foot
Anthony Davis (right foot/ankle) reportedly had X-rays taken after Sunday's game in Oklahoma City, though Davis denied the report.

Advice: ESPN's Justin Verrier reports, "Davis had an X-ray taken after the game in Oklahoma City, according to league sources. Davis denied the account, but the Pelicans forward received treatment and [had] a black wrap on his right foot at his locker before speaking to the media. Davis ... appeared to be walking without a hobble in the locker room." He played 43 minutes on Sunday and did appear to be limping on certain possessions, though he never left the game. We're adding him to the injury report, and in the absence of an update owners should consider him questionable for Monday's home game. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:41 pm
  • Anthony Davis' 37 & 15 not enough vs. OKC
Anthony Davis piled up 37 points (14-of-32 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs) with 15 rebounds, four blocks, two steals and two assists on Sunday, but it wasn't enough to avoid a road loss to the Thunder.

Advice: Davis was simply unstoppable for stretches tonight, but he got negligible help from his teammates. His offensive exploits shouldn't obscure the fact that he ranks first in blocks (2.7), fourth in defensive rebounds (9.1), and is holding opponents to 4.4 percent below their typical shooting averages against him. Expect another monster effort vs. the visiting Grizzlies on Monday. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:50 pm
  • Tim Frazier scoreless in 16 bench minutes
Tim Frazier shifted to a bench role vs. the Thunder on Sunday, where he went scoreless on 0-of-5 shooting with four rebounds, two steals and one assist in 16 minutes.

Advice: Frazier started the Pelicans' previous game alongside Jrue Holiday, but that small backcourt didn't last long. He hasn't scored double-digit points in any of the past four games and the impending return of Tyreke Evans won't help matters, so Frazier's owners should at least be keeping an eye on potential waiver-wire additions. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:47 pm
  • Tim Frazier will come off the bench Sunday
Tim Frazier will come off the bench Sunday vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Frazier had been starting alongside Jrue Holiday, but head coach Alvin Gentry will move E'Twaun Moore into the starting five for today's game in order to give Frazier some more ball handling opportunities with the second unit. Frazier's value has taken a hit since Jrue Holiday got back into the starting lineup, so the move to the second unit isn't necessarily a bad thing for his value. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 2:50 pm
  • Dwight Powell scores career-high 17 in win
Dwight Powell hit 7-of-11 shots off the bench and finished Saturday's surprising win over the Bulls with a career-high 17 points, eight rebounds and one assist.

Advice: With Dirk Nowitzki's season potentially hanging in the balance, Powell is someone to keep an eye on. Yes, Nowitzki says he'll be fine, but continues to remain out indefinitely. Powell is averaging 9.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocks over his last five games, so he's far from a must-own player. But he's also averaging 21 minutes over that stretch and played 28 of them tonight. Put him on your radar. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:20 pm
  • Deron Williams hands out 15 assists in win
Deron Williams hit just 3-of-11 shots, but had nine points, two rebounds, a season-high 15 assists and a steal in 31 minutes of Saturday's surprising 107-82 win over the Bulls.

Advice: After missing eight of nine games with a calf injury, Williams has played in five straight. And while we don't love his game or trust him, he's deserving of some attention right now. He's averaging 9.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists over his last five games, but is shooting just 34 percent and has just one steal, zero blocks and two 3-pointers over that stretch. If you are desperate for assists, Williams is worth a look. But you'll just have to hope he's not hurt again before you actually get him into your lineup. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:07 pm
  • JaMychal Green drops 16 points with 13 boards
JaMychal Green had a big game during a 103-100 win over the Lakers on Saturday, scoring 16 points with 13 rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 34 minutes.

Advice: It's a season high in boards and just his second double-double on the year. As a member of the Nasty Nine, Green has been quietly consistent over his last nine, averaging 12.1 points, 7.8 boards, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.9 blocks and 0.6 treys on 59.1 percent from the field and 81.3 percent from the line. He has top-45 value in standard leagues in that span, so his patient owners have to be feeling great right now. Make sure he's somehow not on your wire. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:53 pm
  • Troy Williams scores seven in win
Troy Williams scored seven points with six rebounds, two assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

Advice: The other Troy stole the show with Daniels dropping 31 points, but Williams was still really solid. He's earned all his playing time with defense, he runs the floor for coach David Fizdale, and Williams is really the only starting option next to Tony Allen. Williams should have some value this week with four games and Chandler Parsons (knee) out for at least another week. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:38 pm
  • Gordon Hayward stays hot in win over Nuggets
Gordon Hayward hit 9-of-18 shots, three 3-pointers and 11-of-11 free throws to match his season high of 32 points with four rebounds and two steals in Saturday's win over the Nuggets.

Advice: Hayward has scored 32, 32 and 31 points in his last three games and is averaging 28.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.0 3-pointers on 51 percent shooting over his last five. His finger injury appears to finally be fully behind him and he's rolling. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:29 pm
  • Money Green: Troy Daniels scores 31 points
Troy Daniels played the best game of his NBA career during a 103-100 win over the Lakers on Saturday, scoring a career-high 31 points with two rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and six 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: Hey now. On Thursday, coach David Fizdale said he's going to "use the heck out of him to get shots" and he wasn't lying. Daniels had a 30.1 usage rate with no turnovers and a 63.7 true shooting percentage. Fizdale also said Daniels wants him to have the "money green light" when he's hot, so it was definitely that color tonight. The Grizzlies are rolling with their Nasty Nine, so feel free to grab Daniels and use him until Chandler Parsons (knee) and James Ennis (calf) can return. His green light should be money green with four games next week. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:28 pm
  • Lou Williams scores season-high 40 points
Lou Williams was a one-man band during a 103-100 loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday, scoring a season-high 40 points with two rebounds, one assist, two steals and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Advice: He was 11-of-20 from the field and made all 14 from the line. Williams seemed like he was due for a blow up, and he finally came through. In the previous seven games without D’Angelo Russell (knee), Williams usage rate has increased to 29.5, but his minutes only increased 0.6 from his season average. This massive game boosted him up two rounds of value on the season, putting him inside the top 65 for standard leagues. He's a bit of a sell-high, but Williams is legit under coach Luke Walton. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:20 pm
  • Brandon Ingram gets 39 minutes
Brandon Ingram played 39 minutes with nine points, five rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one 3-pointer against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Advice: The Lakers are running out of guards. While he’s been starting at shooting guard in the previous two, Ingram played 49 of his minutes 77 minutes as a small forward. That may change with more guard minutes until the Lakers get some guys back. Ingram hasn't done too much on the stat sheet, but he's a stash in competitive leagues, especially with some solid play on defense. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:10 pm
  • Jordan Clarkson struggles with extra role
Jordan Clarkson started the second half for Jose Calderon (hamstring) on Saturday, finishing with eight points, four rebounds, two assists and two turnovers in 28 minutes.

Advice: He didn't get a big bump with Calderon out and he hasn't really done much lately either. Surprisingly, Clarkson’s usage rate has dropped since D’Angelo Russell (knee) went down. Plus, his assist rate is similiar while his efficiency has dropped. Clarkson only has 10th-round value, but he's still a hold. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:07 pm
  • Nicolas Batum hands out 12 dimes, scores 15
Nicolas Batum handed out a season-high 12 assists during a 125-120 overtime loss to the Wolves on Saturday, adding 15 points, eight rebounds, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: The offense went through Batum to make him more of a passer, which helped keep down his somewhat inefficient ways. The inconsistency has been a factor for Batum on the scoring side of things for most of the season. In his previous games, Batum had just 10.0 percent of his shots at the rim while he’s only made 32.8 percent on midrange. He’s posted sixth-round value on the year. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:12 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb cools off vs. Wolves
Jeremy Lamb scored six points with five rebounds and two 3-pointers in 12 minutes against the Wolves on Saturday.

Advice: He had a nice run while the Hornets were banged up, but coach Steve Clifford doesn't trust him as much as his other wings. Lamb is only worth a look in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:01 pm
  • Deron Williams will start against the Bulls
Deron Williams (calf) will start against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: He had his minutes increase in his last game, so Williams could get over 30 again tonight. He's a hold while he's healthy, but he's one of the most injury-prone players in the NBA. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:32 pm
  • Joel Embiid officially resting on Saturday
Joel Embiid (rest) will not play against the Celtics on Saturday.

Advice: It's scheduled rest on the back-to-back set for The Process. He has seen his minutes limit rise to 28 and it's starting to feel like his back-to-back restriction may not be going on all season. With Embiid out, a non-restricted Jahlil Okafor will get most of the minutes with Richaun Holmes backing him up. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 2:49 pm
  • Anthony Davis not on the injury report
Anthony Davis is not on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Thunder.

Advice: This is good news after Davis gave us a scare with a right shoulder injury. There wasn't any concern about him after the game, so he's apparently good to go. Coach Alvin Gentry did say the Clippers limiting Davis on Friday was "a little bit of both" regarding the defense and his injury. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 12:14 pm
  • Deron Williams (calf) probable for Saturday
Deron Williams (left calf strain) is probable to play vs. Chicago on Saturday.

Advice: Williams appears to have finally put his nagging calf issue in the rear-view mirror. D-Will has seen his playing time and production increase in each of the Mavs four previous games, from 15 minutes and four points last Friday to 14 points in 29 minutes on Thursday. When healthy, Willims is a fantasy asset, especially for teams in need of point guard depth. Over the first five games of this season, Williams averaged 15.0 points, 5.8 assists and 2.4 3-pointers in 35 minutes per game. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:40 am
  • Inspectah Dek: Sam Dekker scores 17 points
Sam Dekker scored a career-high 17 points against the Nuggets on Friday, adding four rebounds, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes.

Advice: It was a fantastic game for Dekker, who was already playing the best ball of his career coming into this game. He played clutch minutes against the Warriors on Thursday and is fitting right in for coach Mike D'Antoni with minutes at both forward spots. With Trevor Ariza (back) going down tonight, Dekker is a speculative add in competitive leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:27 pm
  • Tim Frazier scores eight points in loss
Tim Frazier scored eight points on 2-of-6 shooting and handed out eight assists with two rebounds, one steal and four turnovers on Friday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Frazier's been trending in the wrong direction lately and he's averaging 8.8 points, 6.2 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 0.6 steals, 0.6 triples and 3.6 turnovers on 38.5 percent shooting over his last five games. Jrue Holiday's move into the starting lineup is going to limit Frazier's upside, but if there's one positive, it's that Frazier hasn't played less than 31 minutes in eight straight games. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:18 pm
  • Anthony Davis (shoulder) scores 21 points
Anthony Davis (right shoulder) returned to Friday's game vs. the Clippers and looked fine, scoring 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting in 31 minutes.

Advice: He bumped into Marreese Speights in the first quarter and was in the locker room for about 10 minutes, but it didn't seem to bother him down the stretch. This isn't the same shoulder that had a partial tear last season, so there's no real concern here and we haven't heard anything about the Pelicans running any tests. He grabbed six rebounds with four assists, one steal and one block and he should be ready to go for Sunday's game vs. the Thunder. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:57 pm
  • Jordan Clarkson scores 14 points in loss
Jordan Clarkson scored 14 points with one rebound, one assist, two steals and three treys in 31 minutes against the Raptors on Friday.

Advice: He only shot 4-of-15 from the field, but did hit all three of his freebies at the line. Clarkson is locked in for minutes in the 30s with Nick Young (calf) and D'Angelo Russell (knee) out, so the big lines will start flowing if he can find his shot -- he's shooting 38.0 percent from the field over his last five games. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:45 pm
  • Brandon Ingram scores career-high 17 points
Brandon Ingram started at SG on Friday vs. the Raptors and scored a career-high 17 points on 8-of-16 shooting.

Advice: Here he comes. The Lakers are ready to set him loose and he played 35 minutes even though the game was a blowout -- no other starter played more than 24 minutes. Ingram added six rebounds, two assists and one trey, and his path to minutes has widened with his ability to play three different positions. With Nick Young (calf) out 2-4 weeks and D'Angelo Russell (knee) still out, Ingram is looking at minutes in the 30s for the foreseeable future. He's a nice pickup in most formats and he should be even better after the All-Star break. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:40 pm
  • Joel Embiid scores 25 points with 10 boards
Joel Embiid played 27 minutes during a 105-88 loss to the Magic on Friday, scoring 25 points with 10 rebounds, four assists and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He had a 28-minute limit for this game and even played in some of garbage time to help him get close to it. Embiid did play 13 minutes next to Jahlil Okafor tonight against the bigger lineup of the Magic, so that's something to watch. Obviously it's not going to affect his minutes, usage or rebounding rate. Plus, coach Brett Brown really likes him around the rim, so his blocks should be fine, too. Embiid is very likely to rest on Saturday. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:56 pm
  • Anthony Davis (shoulder) returns to game
Anthony Davis (right shoulder) has returned to Friday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: He played the whole first quarter before heading to the locker room, but returned with three minutes left before halftime. The replay showed Davis colliding with Marreese Speights, but it looked very minor. It looks like Davis is in the clear, but this is why it's important to handcuff him with Terrence Jones on your fantasy team. We'll have an update after the game. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:04 pm
  • Anthony Davis questionable to return vs. LAC
Anthony Davis (right shoulder) is questionable to return Friday night against the Clippers.

Advice: This is the same right shoulder he had problems with two seasons ago, but not the left shoulder with a partial tear from last year. Davis didn't appear to be hurt, so it's all a guessing game right now. We'll have another update once we have more info. Rotoworld.com Friday, 5:43 pm
  • Brandon Ingram starting at SG vs. Raptors
Brandon Ingram will start at shooting guard against the Raptors on Friday.

Advice: It's the same starting lineup as Wednesday with Jose Calderon, Luol Deng, Julius Randle and Timofey Mozgov. Ingram played a whopping 41 minutes in that start with a 13.0 usage rate, so maybe he gets more shots tonight. Ingram is worth a long look in DFS and is a pickup in competitive leagues with a ton of playing time headed his way while Nick Young (calf) misses 2-4 weeks. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:18 pm
  • Embiid minute limit increased to 28 minutes
Joel Embiid will be on a 28-minute limit Friday night vs. Orlando, but likely will not play on Saturday vs. Boston.

Advice: In addition to the 28-minute limit vs. Magic, the Sixers announced that "the team anticipates to follow prior back-to-back protocol for Celtics on Saturday." Thus, we can safely assume they will rest Embiid on Saturday. Embiid has not played more than 27 minutes in any game this season, so 28 minutes would represent a career high. It will be interesting to see if Embiid can sustain his incredible per-minute production as his playing time increases. His current per-36 minute averages are mind-boggling: 28.2 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 2.0 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:36 am
  • Eric Gordon scores 23 points in win
Eric Gordon scored 23 points during a 132-127 double-overtime win over the Warriors on Thursday, adding one rebound, five assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: He hit some clutch buckets with five points in OT and six points in the fourth. The Rockets snapped an eight-game losing streak against the Warriors and are now 12-7 despite a tough schedule to kick off this season. The schedule makers also gave the Rockets a tough task with a game in altitude following a double-OT game against the Warriors. As for Gordon, he's posting seventh-round value on the season and should be around there all year. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:50 pm
  • Sam Dekker gets 26 minutes vs. Warriors
Sam Dekker played 26 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday with 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He played a team-high 11.9 minutes in the fourth quarter and saw 4.8 minutes in the two overtime frames, so clearly coach Mike D'Antoni trusts Dekker with important minutes. Dekker is coming off a 27-minute game against the Jazz, but some of that is due to garbage time. That said, he does appear to be a guy who could be close to 20 minutes per night. With how many treys the Rockets take and the tempo leading to some steals, Dekker is on the radar in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:40 pm
  • Marc Gasol scores 25 points in win vs. Magic
Marc Gasol scored 25 points in 32 minutes during a 95-94 comeback win over the Magic on Thursday, adding two rebounds, three assists, five blocks, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: What a huge win for the Grizzlies. Coach David Fizdale continues to talk up The Nasty Nine, and his squad has just been money in tough situations. In fact, the Grizzlies are now 5-0 on the second night of a back-to-back set and they improved to 8-0 when the margin is within three points in the final minute. As for Gasol, the solid playing time after 35 minutes on Wednesday. He'll likely get rest at some point, but expect Gasol to post great stats sans Mike Conley (back). Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:26 pm
  • Tony Allen scores nine in 27 minutes
Tony Allen scored nine points with six rebounds, three steals and one turnover in 27 minutes during Thursday's win over the Magic.

Advice: While the Grandfather wasn't yelling "First Team All Defense" tonight, he was just terrific on that end late in the game. He had his three steals all come in the final 6:12 to help get the Grizzlies going. Allen has stepped up with more playing time because of the all the injuries. He even said the Grizzlies were "a makeshift team" in his post-game interview. He will likely be managed later in the season, but he could be a steals specialist for some owners. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:16 pm
  • Troy Williams struggles with his shot
Troy Williams made 2-of-13 from the field for five points with two rebounds, one assist, three steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer against the Magic on Thursday.

Advice: It was a bad game for Williams and he didn't close the game out. He continues to play good defense, so coach David Fizdale isn't likely to take him out of the lineup. Williams should hold value for deep leagues over the next 7-10 days while James Ennis (calf) and Chandler Parsons (knee) are out. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:10 pm
  • Rudy Gobert is a rebounding machine
Rudy Gobert hit 3-of-4 shots for six points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks in 35 minutes on Thursday night.

Advice: Despite a tough matchup, Gobert was able to hold his own under the glass, making it the 14th time this season he records double-digit rebounds. He has also blocked three or more shots in four straight games. His next game is against the Nuggets who he fared well against last season. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:52 pm
  • Troy Daniels scores 19 points vs. Magic
Troy Daniels matched a season-high 19 points in 29 minutes against the Magic on Thursday, adding two rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers.

Advice: On the heels of a 19-point Wednesday, this is the best two-game run of his career and the first time he's had consecutive games with at least 16 points. Daniels had his best game on defense, closed this one out, and clearly impressed his coach. "Whenever he’s out there, I’m going to use the heck out of him to get shots," coach Fizdale said. Fizdale also asked Daniels what color green light he should have when he gets to let it fly and Daniels said "money green." He may have some short-term value and is worth a look in deep leagues for owners needing treys. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:51 pm
  • Gordon Hayward has huge night
Gordon Hayward scored 32 points with seven assists, three rebounds, and two steals in Thursday’s loss to the Heat.

Advice: Hayward hit a season-high in points and has now scored over 30 points in two consecutive games, while scoring more than 20 points in six straight games. He is shooting the ball well recently and maintains a healthy usage rate of 28.3 percent. He is also contributing in assists, rebounds, and 3-pointers. His next game is against the Nuggets who play at the fifth highest pace in the league. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:14 pm
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scores 14 points
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 14 points with three rebounds, two assists and one block in 33 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday.

Advice: MKG's playing time, usage or other stats haven't changed since the Marvin Williams (knee) injury -- the biggest difference is a dip in rebounding. The Hornets are missing Williams on defense and it's put even more pressure on Kidd-Gilchrist. After an awesome start, MKG has only been a lukewarm asset in standard leagues. He'll likely just be a late-round guy. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:40 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb scores 12 points in 19 minutes
Jeremy Lamb (knee) scored 12 points with six rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday.

Advice: He's been solid on the glass and was back down to his projected playing time. Lamb had one of the best two-game runs prior to his knee contusion on Tuesday and we're not expecting him to do much while Nicolas Batum is healthy. Lamb is only worth owning in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:28 pm
  • Harrison Barnes scores 17 points in a loss
Harrison Barnes scored 17 points in a 97-87 loss to the Hornets on Thursday, adding nine rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He was 8-of-20 from the field today and continues to get a ton of shots. Barnes is living in the mid-range with a whopping 45 percent of his shot total coming in that area, which usually indicates a guy will go through some highs and lows. He's been better than expected as a mid-round guy this season. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:19 pm
  • Deron Williams gets 30 minutes vs. CHA
Deron Williams scored 14 points with three rebounds, eight assists and one 3-pointer against the Hornets on Thursday.

Advice: This is a very encouraging sign to see Williams get this much playing time on the second half of a back-to-back set -- he played 26 minutes on Wednesday. Williams is basically an injury waiting to happen, but he's worth a pickup if you have something to cut and need a point guard. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:13 pm
  • Dwight Powell scores six with eight boards
Dwight Powell scored six points with eight rebounds, one block and one steal in 24 minutes against the Hornets on Thursday.

Advice: Thank goodness he looks to be out of his slump. In his last five games, Powell has made 57.7 percent from the field with averages of 7.6 points, 4.0 boards, 1.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocks. He's likely going to remain in his role as the backup big man with around 20 minutes regardless of who is out on a given night -- he did get four minutes at power forward tonight. He's only an option in deep leagues right now, but his playing time may increase later in the year. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:50 pm
  • Grizzlies sticking with the same starters
The Grizzlies will start Andrew Harrison, Tony Allen, Troy Williams, JaMychal Green and Marc Gasol on Thursday.

Advice: it's a home game on a back-to-back set, so there's a chance Gasol's minutes take a slight dip to play some of the younger guys. He should be very busy while Mike Conley (back) is on the mend. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 4:49 pm
  • Deron Williams will start against the Hornets
Deron Williams (calf) will start against the Hornets on Thursday.

Advice: He played 26 minutes on Wednesday night, so the back-to-back factor is likely in play on his minutes tonight. Coach Rick Carlisle has rested Williams in the second half of a game before, so that's an option. Williams is a risky asset in standard leagues and is a tough target in DFS. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:52 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb (knee) available to play vs. Mavs
Jeremy Lamb (knee) is available to play against the Mavericks on Thursday night.

Advice: He only had a knee contusion from Tuesday's outing. Lamb has suddenly turned it on with two monster games prior to his injury, averaging 19.5 points, 13.0 boards and 1.0 dimes. Despite those big games, he's likely looking at minutes in the low 20s tonight and isn't the strongest fantasy play. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 2:22 pm
  • Joel Embiid scheduled to play on Friday
Joel Embiid is scheduled to play against the Magic on Friday, according to Tom Moore.

Advice: While this isn't set in stone, Moore also reports that Embiid is likely to sit the second half of the 76ers back-to-back on Saturday. We'll keep an eye on news surrounding Embiid, but it looks like his fantasy owners can deploy him for Friday night. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:46 am
  • Jeremy Lamb questionable for Thurs vs Mavs
Jeremy Lamb (right knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Mavericks.

Advice: Lamb left Tuesday's game with a contusion on his right knee and looks to be headed for a game-time decision on Thursday. We'll keep an eye on his status, but Lamb shouldn't be owned in standard fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:56 am
  • Deron Williams probable for Thurs vs Hornets
Deron Williams (left calf strain) is probable for Thursday's game against Charlotte.

Advice: Williams was able to play 26 minutes on Wednesday and is likely to see similar minutes on Thursday. He doesn't have a ton of upside, but D-Will is worth a look as a bottom-of-roster player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:06 am
  • Harrison Barnes scores 17 points on 15 shots
Harrison Barnes had 17 points on 8-of-15 shooting during the Mavs' home loss on Wednesday, with two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: The Spurs are the league's worst matchup for opposing small forwards this year, thanks to Kawhi Leonard, so Barnes' owners should be relatively happy with tonight's line. He's dealt well with increased defensive attention as the Mavs' No. 1 option offensively, a situation that isn't likely to change with Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles) entering the twilight of his career. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:26 pm
  • Deron Williams (calf) plays 26 minutes Wed
Deron Williams (calf) finished Wednesday's game with nine points, eight rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes.

Advice: Williams' playing time is slowly creeping up, which is one bit of good news in the midst of a depressing season for the Mavs. With a 3-14 record they are dead last in the league, trailing even the 76ers (4-14), Nets (5-12), and Timberwolves (5-13). Williams has late-middle-round upside, but his injury-based risk makes him a borderline option in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:25 pm
  • Clarkson, Williams lead Lakers' bench effort
Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams each scored 18 points off the bench vs. the Bulls on Wednesday, with Clarkson going 9-of-18 from the field with four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 34 minutes.

Advice: The Lakers' bench has averaged 52.4 points per game this season, the most for any team since at least 1985-86. That remarkable fact speaks to how well coach Luke Walton has balanced his young players and veterans, and the Clarkson/Williams duo isn't likely to be separated any time soon. Williams made 4-of-12 FGs and 9-of-11 FTs, with five boards and five assists, and both guys should have expanded roles until Nick Young (calf) returns to action. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:53 pm
  • Brandon Ingram starts, plays 41 minutes
Brandon Ingram played 41 minutes as the Lakers' starting SG on Wednesday, finishing with eight points (1-of-9 FGs, 6-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.

Advice: Nick Young is out 2-4 weeks with a strained calf, and it looks like Ingram will continue to start in his absence. He was averaging 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 threes in two previous starts, and is worth a long look for short-term production and long-term upside. The fact that he logged 41 minutes tonight is reason enough to consider him. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:50 pm
  • Troy Daniels scores 19 points in loss to TOR
Troy Daniels came off the Grizzlies' bench to score 19 points in a loss on Wednesday, making 6-of-12 FGs and 3-of-3 FTs with four 3-pointers, one rebound, one assist and one steal.

Advice: Vince Carter was out tonight with a hip injury, joining a pile of injured Grizzlies that includes Mike Conley, Chandler Parsons, James Ennis and Brandan Wright. The result was 21 minutes for Daniels, who made the most of the opportunity. Most fantasy owners can take a wait-and-see approach here, especially while Carter is day-to-day. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:15 pm
  • JaMychal Green scores 16 pts with five steals
JaMychal Green had 16 points, five rebounds, a career-high five steals, one block and one assist vs. Toronto on Wednesday.

Advice: Green played 34 minutes with just one turnover, finishing 5-of-11 from the field and 6-of-7 from the line. He's been a low-end fantasy option in most 12-team leagues this season, but has stepped up his game during the absence of Zach Randolph (personal). Z-Bo is day-to-day, but if you need a productive PF don't hesitate to add JaMychal to your squad. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:13 pm
  • Deron Williams in the starting lineup
Deron Williams (ankle) is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Spurs.

Advice: He'll likely be limited, but coach Rick Carlisle said he wants to see him add a little more run. Williams is a risky fantasy asset. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:32 pm
  • Brandon Ingram starting at shooting guard
Brandon Ingram will start at shooting guard against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: Nick Young (calf) is going to miss the next 2-4 weeks, so Ingram could get a chance to take this job and run with it. He gets some comparisons to Kevin Durant, who also started at shooting guard in his rookie season. Ingram hasn't played too well in his rookie season, but he's worth a look in most leagues to see if he can heat up. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:26 pm
  • Brandon Ingram starting for Nick Young (calf)
Brandon Ingram will start Wednesday's game in place of Nick Young (calf).

Advice: Ingram will join a starting lineup that includes Jose Calderon, Luol Deng, Julius Randle and Timofey Mozgov. Lakers coach Luke Walton has expressed a preference to keep his second unit intact, but he doesn't have a choice here. Jordan Clarkson should also pick up extra minutes off the bench until Young is able to return in 2-4 weeks. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:26 pm
  • More Trust: Joel Embiid can play 28 minutes
Joel Embiid had his minutes limit increased to 28 minutes for Wednesday against the Kings.

Advice: Oh yeah. We'll get more of The Process, which means fewer minutes for Jahlil Okafor. Embiid is second in the NBA in usage rate at 37.6 while he's also seen some very good rebounding and block numbers lately. Hopefully this also means Embiid's back-to-back limit can go away soon. Trust The Process. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:19 pm
  • Rudy Gobert goes for 16-14-3 in win
Rudy Gobert hit 5-of-7 shots and 6-of-8 free throws for 16 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks in Tuesday's win over Clint Capela and the Rockets.

Advice: Gobert, a dud last season after a bunch of hype, has it in cruise control right now, double-doubling in four straight games and averaging 15.3 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3.3 blocks over his last four games. Denver's Nikola Jokic is this year's version of last season's Gobert, so there's still hope for Jokic. As for Gobert, just wind him up and turn him loose until further notice. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:18 pm
  • Gordon Hayward scores season-high 31
Gordon Hayward hit 8-of-16 shots, three 3-pointers and 112-of-13 free throws for a season-high 31 points, five rebounds and seven assists in Tuesday's win over the Rockets.

Advice: Hayward got off to a slow start tonight, but came on late to post one of his best lines of the season. He's rolling, averaging 25.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.6 3-pointers on 48 percent shooting over his last five games. He's also been very consistent, scoring between 22 and 31 points in each of his last five. His finger injury is obviously no longer a concern. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:14 pm
  • Eric Gordon heating up, scores 24
Eric Gordon hit 8-of-17 shots and four 3-pointers for 24 points, two rebounds and one assist in Tuesday's loss to the Jazz.

Advice: Gordon had 26 points on Sunday and is hot, averaging 21.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 4.7 3-pointers over his last three games. Prior to that he was cold, scoring just nine total points on Nov. 21 and 23, hitting just 4-of-18 shots. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:09 pm
  • Jordan Clarkson leads Lakers in minutes
Jordan Clarkson hit 4-of-14 shots for nine points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 29 minutes against the Pelicans.

Advice: Clarkson, along with teammate Brandon Ingram, led the Lakers in minutes with 29 on Tuesday night. He has now played at least 29 minutes in four straight games and has attempted no less than 14 shots in each of those games. The Lakers appear to be more inclined in giving Clarkson the playing time during D’Angelo Russell’s absence. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:21 pm
  • Brandon Ingram leads Lakers in minutes
Brandon Ingram hit 4-of-10 shots for nine points, three rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block in 29 minutes on Tuesday night.

Advice: Ingram tied Jordan Clarkson for the most minutes played by a Laker in Tuesday’s loss against the Pelicans. Ingram has now played at least 29 minutes in four consecutive games and has attempted double-digit shots in each of those contests. He could see some more playing time should Nick Young miss time. He is not a must-own player right now, but all signs are pointing in the right direction and he’s not a bad player to be holding right now. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:08 pm
  • Lou Williams continues to play well
Lou Williams hit 5-of-14 shots for 16 points, three rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 22 minutes on Tuesday night.

Advice: Williams continues to be efficient in the minutes he receives, averaging over a fantasy point per minute. He is averaging a career-high 16.6 points per game and is currently matching his career-high in steals, despite playing the fewest minutes per game since the 2010-11 season. He should be owned in all formats and continues to be a solid contributor in several categories for fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:52 pm
  • Tim Frazier quiet in another start
Tim Frazier started and played 32 minutes, but hit just 3-of-7 shots for six points and five assists in Tuesday's easy win over the Lakers.

Advice: The minutes were there and Frazier's played well, despite the return of Jrue Holiday. As long as he sticks in the starting lineup, he's worth hanging onto, but the eventual return of Tyreke Evans could be enough to bury him. Frazier had just eight points and three dimes in his previous game, and while the minutes are there, the emergence of Holiday is taking a toll on him.. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:39 pm
  • Anthony Davis goes beast mode on Lakers
Anthony Davis torched the Lakers for 41 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, four steals, two blocks, a 3-pointer and just one turnover in 41 minutes in Monday's blowout win over the Lakers.

Advice: Wow. He had 75.7 Fanduel points, hit 14-of-27 shots and 12-of-14 free throws, so hopefully you didn't fade him tonight. Since scoring just 13 points in 19 minutes against the Hawks a week ago (when he tweaked his knee), he's scored at least 31 points in four straight games and is averaging 38.3 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.0 steals, 2.3 blocks, 1.3 3-pointers and just 2.0 turnovers over that stretch. He's an obvious sell-high candidate based on his injury history, but that's easier said than done when you're enjoying the fruits of his labor right now. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:27 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb (knee) doesn't return Tuesday
Jeremy Lamb suffered a right knee contusion on Tuesday and didn't return to the game.

Advice: He played 13 minutes for four points on 1-of-5 shooting and was coming off a couple monster games while Nicolas Batum was dealing with an eye injury. Lamb was on his way down already, and this injury makes him a nearly must-drop candidate in all but the deepest of leagues, despite the fact that he's simply day-to-day. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:42 pm
  • Nic Batum bounces back from off night
Nicolas Batum hit just 3-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for eight points, 11 rebounds and five assists in Tuesday's

Advice: He's still recovering from an eye injury and has now hit just 4-of-16 shots since returning to action, but he at least filled the stat sheet a bit tonight, unlike on Monday. Batum could be in line for even more run going forward after Jeremy Lamb suffered a right knee contusion on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:38 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb diagnosed with a knee contusion
Jeremy Lamb has been diagnosed with a right knee contusion and is questionable to return Tuesday vs. the Pistons.

Advice: The Hornets were trailing by double digits in the fourth quarter when this was announced, so Lamb's night is likely done. If we learn that Lamb will miss additional time, Marco Belinelli will get a bump in minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:04 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb goes to locker room Tuesday
Jeremy Lamb left Tuesday's game vs. the Pistons and went back to the locker room.

Advice: He was holding his right leg/knee after a drive to the rim. Lamb wasn't playing well tonight and there are 10 minutes left in regulation, so his night could be over. We'll have an update shortly. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 5:54 pm
  • Gordon Hayward scores 24 points Monday
Gordon Hayward scored 24 points on 6-of-14 shooting against the Wolves on Monday.

Advice: He added five rebounds, two assists, two steals and zero turnovers in 34 minutes. Hayward also got to the free throw line 15 times, connecting on 12 of them. He's scored 22 or more points in each of his last four games and has made a total of 30 free throws in that span. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:11 pm
  • Rudy Gobert scores 16 w/ 17 boards, 3 blocks
Rudy Gobert was everywhere on Monday vs. the Wolves, scoring 16 points with 17 rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 34 minutes.

Advice: The Stifle Tower grabbed eight of his rebounds on the offensive glass and hit 5-of-10 from the field and 6-of-8 from the line. The Jazz are second in the NBA in defensive efficiency and Gobert is the main reason why. He's averaging 3.2 blocks per game over his last five and is pulling down 12.2 rebounds per game in that span. He'll be an early-round value the rest of the way if he keeps this up. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:05 pm
  • Batum (eye) plays 23 minutes in blowout
Nicolas Batum (eye) returned from a one-game absence on Monday vs. the Grizzlies, scoring six points with four assists, two rebounds and two turnovers.

Advice: Batum hit just 1-of-5 shots, but made all four of his free throws in 23 minutes. The Hornets were able to limit his workload due to the lopsided score and he looked fine for the most part, so he should see his normal workload on Tuesday vs. the Pistons. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:33 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb scores 21 w/ nine rebounds
Jeremy Lamb stayed hot on Monday in a 104-85 win over the Grizzlies, scoring 21 points with nine rebounds, one steal, one block and two triples in just 23 minutes.

Advice: The points were a season-high and he shot an efficient 7-of-11 from the field. He's coming off a dominant 18-point, 17-rebound performance on Saturday with two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes, but his minutes dipped tonight with Nicolas Batum (eye) back in action. Lamb has likely earned a nice role off the bench moving forward and is now worth a look if you have some dead weight on your roster. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:27 pm
  • Troy Williams scores nine points in start
Troy Williams made his third start in a row on Monday vs. Charlotte, scoring nine points (4-of-9 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs) with two rebounds, three assists and two steals in 31 minutes.

Advice: After the rookie scored a career-high 18 points vs. the Heat on Saturday, Memphis coach David Fizdale praised him for his efforts. "He is another kid that stays ready. He is not afraid of the moment," Fizdale said. "He works really hard. He had a great summer. He really took his spot on this team. We are so decimated now at the wing position. I threw him in there and he took advantage of the situation." He's been a little inconsistent, but he's playing 28.7 minutes per game over his last three and is on the radar in deeper formats. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:17 pm
  • JaMychal Green struggles in loss to CHA
JaMychal Green struggled against the Hornets on Monday, scoring four points on 1-of-4 shooting with five rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes.

Advice: He also had five fouls on the night. Green was coming into Monday's game with averages of 12.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.0 3-pointer and 0.5 blocks in his previous four games, so his owners should stick with him. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:12 pm
  • Nicolas Batum (eye) will play Monday vs. MEM
Nicolas Batum (eye) will play Monday vs. Memphis.

Advice: The corneal abrasion will only end up costing Batum one game on the sidelines, and there's no indication that he'll be working with a minutes limit tonight. Jeremy Lamb will return to the bench with Batum active, and Lamb's minutes will likely be in the mid-20s tonight. Go ahead and get Batum active. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:35 pm
  • Lou Williams scores team-high 21 points
Lou Williams made 5-of-13 FGs and 9-of-9 FTs to finish a win vs. the Hawks with a team-high 21 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Advice: Williams has scored 20+ points off the bench in six games this year, exceeding his total from the entire 2015-16 season. He's off to a torrid start and it's hard to avoid a sell-high recommendation since the Lakers are likely to emphasize youth development as the season progresses. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 9:53 pm
  • Brandon Ingram plays 29 minutes off bench
Brandon Ingram returned to a backup role on Sunday, posting seven points, eight rebounds and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes of action.

Advice: Luke Walton hinted before the game that he prefers to keep his usual bench together for continuity's sake, and both Ingram and Jordan Clarkson headed back to the second unit tonight. Most owners will be able to find more promising short-term free agents, but Ingram is a very intriguing rest-of-season stash. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 9:52 pm
  • Jordan Clarkson scores 18 points on 17 shots
Jordan Clarkson shifted to the bench on Sunday, where he turned in 18 points on 17 shot attempts, with five assists, four rebounds, two steals, one 3-pointer and zero turnovers.

Advice: Clarkson's line would have been even nicer if he shot at his usual 46.3 percent from the field, but few owners will complain with this across-the-board production. He's a steady value whether he's starting or, more likely, coming off the bench. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 9:46 pm
  • Eric Gordon erupts Sunday for 26/5/4, six 3s
Eric Gordon thrived in 30 bench minutes vs. Portland, scoring 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting with a 6-of-9 mark from downtown, five rebounds, four assists, one steal and just one turnover.

Advice: Gordon's scoring outburst isn't a complete surprise, as the Blazers have ceded the sixth-most points to opposing benches this season. His off-ball movement got him free for plenty of open looks, and tonight's production was sweet relief for his fantasy owners -- he came in shooting 29.0 percent in his previous three games. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 9:08 pm
  • Dwight Powell gets five steals in 26 minutes
Dwight Powell came off the bench on Sunday for four points, three rebounds, one assist, one block and a career-high five steals in 26 minutes.

Advice: Powell tied a Mavericks record for most steals in a game by a center, the position he was playing in a small-ball attack vs. the Pelicans tonight. His efforts helped snap a brutal eight-game skid and he's averaging a steady 1.3 steals per game this year, but he's done little else to recommend himself in 12-team formats. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 7:34 pm
  • Harrison Barnes helps Mavs snap losing streak
Harrison Barnes dished out a season-high four assists on Sunday, in addition to 23 points (9-of-24 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists and just one turnover in 41 minutes.

Advice: Barnes was clutch throughout the fourth quarter and he gave the Mavs an offensive boost every time they needed it, helping to snap their eight-game losing streak. This was the seventh time all season he's snared at least seven rebounds, and he tied his season-high with two steals, which are the type of supporting stats his owners love to see. He's adjusted well to increased defensive pressure and should be a steady mid-round value regardless of which Mavs are playing around him. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 7:32 pm
  • Jordan Clarkson back to bench w/ Young active
Jordan Clarkson will return to the bench on Sunday with Nick Young (toe) back in action.

Advice: Clarkson's upside takes a hit with the news, but he's still an every-night fantasy option in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 6:28 pm
  • Myles Turner has 17 & 12 despite foul trouble
Myles Turner got into early foul trouble vs. the Clippers on Sunday, but he still racked up 17 points on 8-of-16 shooting, 12 rebounds, three assists, one block and one 3-pointer in just 25 minutes.

Advice: Opposing centers have averaged a league-high 6.9 fouls per game vs. the Clippers this season, so Turner isn't alone in his foul problems against DeAndre Jordan. He was still awesome on a per-minute basis and continues to cruise as a top-30 value in 8-cat and 9-cat leagues. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 5:42 pm
  • Nicolas Batum (eye) probable for Monday
Nicolas Batum (eye) is probable to return vs. the Grizzlies on Monday.

Advice: Jeremy Lamb went off in Batum's absence but he'll likely return to a bench role if Batum is cleared to play. The injury wasn't considered very serious and his return is great news with Marco Belinelli (hamstring) also nursing an injury. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 3:54 pm
  • Joel Embiid scores 22 points w/ three blocks
Joel Embiid racked up 22 points, nine boards, four assists, three 3-pointers, three blocks and three turnovers in a mere 25 minutes of action during Sunday's 112-108 loss to the Cavs.

Advice: The 76ers hung tough with the defending champs, and Embiid was no small part of that impressive effort. Despite a strict minutes limit, Embiid continues to crush it with his ridiculous 37.6 usage rate, pumping out mid-round value with averages of 18.2 points, 7.8 boards, 1.3 triples, 2.4 blocks and 4.1 turnovers per game on 48.0 percent shooting. This was the first game of a back-to-back set, meaning that Embiid will be rested on Monday night with Jahlil Okafor moving into the starting five. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 12:51 pm
  • Marc Gasol scores 28 points in win vs. Heat
Marc Gasol scored 28 points during a 110-107 win at Miami on Saturday, adding three rebounds, six assists and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: After keeping Gasol to 26 minutes on Friday, coach David Fizdale let him rip in a revenge game against his former staff in Miami. Gasol's minutes have been just fine when he's not in a back-to-back set and he's looked very healthy after that preseason foot scare. On the year, Gasol is posting fourth-round value in standard leagues during his 33.2 minutes per game. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 9:39 pm
  • Troy Williams scores career-high 18 points
Troy Williams scored a career-high 18 points against the Heat on Saturday, adding three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: He was awesome in his second NBA start. Williams' defense should keep him in the lineup and he's shown better offensive output than expected. Additionally, ESPN reports that the Memphis staff views him as an Andre Roberson-type with better offense. Williams should get a big opportunity in the next couple weeks while James Ennis (calf) and Chandler Parsons (knee) are on the shelf. He's still only worth a look in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 9:33 pm
  • Troy Daniels was a DNP-CD
Troy Daniels was a DNP-CD against the Heat on Saturday.

Advice: He is likely going to remain out of the rotation unless the Grizzlies need threes in bunches. Daniels can be dropped almost everywhere. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 9:29 pm
  • J-Myke stringing games together, scores 12
JaMychal Green scored 12 points with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block, three 3-pointers and no turnovers against the Heat on Saturday.

Advice: After way too many tough matchups to start the season, J-Myke is finally on a roll. In his last five, he's averaging 13.4 points, 8.0 boards, 0.8 blocks and 0.8 treys on a phenomenal 77.5 true shooting percentage. He's flirting with top-50 value in that span and has his arrow pointing up. He's worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 9:22 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb grabs 17 boards, scores 18 points
Jeremy Lamb grabbed a career-high 17 boards in his first start of the season against the Knicks on Saturday, adding 18 points, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

Advice: Coach Steve Clifford said on Friday he wanted to be patient with Lamb and even gave him a DNP-CD yesterday, but here we are. Lamb also missed some of the second half because he was cramping, which isn't too surprising after logging a grand total of just six minutes all month. Nicolas Batum (eye) should be back soon, so there's no need to grab Lamb in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 7:51 pm
  • Troy Williams starting over Troy Daniels
Troy Williams is starting over Troy Daniels on Saturday.

Advice: This move was expected with Williams looking good on Friday and Daniels having a tough time. Although, coach David Fizdale could still change his mind. Williams is only worth a look in extremely deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 4:56 pm
  • Troy Daniels available to play vs. Heat
Troy Daniels (groin) is available to play against the Heat on Saturday.

Advice: We'll see what available to play means here, but Daniels isn't a lock to start. He had a bad game on Friday while Troy Williams had some productive minutes. We'll be looking for Memphis' starting lineup and post it ASAP. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 4:11 pm
  • Gasol & Conley to get close to normal minutes
Coach David Fizdale said Mike Conley and Marc Gasol will be close to normal minutes for Saturday against the Heat.

Advice: Gasol's minutes were kept in check at 26 on Friday, so he may get closer to his season average 33.1 tonight. Conley was also held in check to 23 minutes on Friday, so he should see over 30, as well. Plan accordingly. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 3:46 pm
  • Nicolas Batum officially ruled out vs. Knicks
Nicolas Batum (eye) has been officially ruled out for Saturday's game against the Knicks.

Advice: The Hornets will have Jeremy Lamb start for the ninth game of his career with Marco Belinelli backing him up. Batum's corneal abrasion shouldn't keep him out long, so he has a chance to play Tuesday. The Hornets are going to have to use a ton of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist at small forward while Belinelli should get a ton of shots tonight, as well. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 3:32 pm
  • Clifford considers Nic Batum doubtful vs. NY
Coach Steve Clifford said Nicolas Batum (eye) is considered doubtful to play against the Knicks on Saturday.

Advice: He is going to be a game-time decision due to his corneal abrasion. With Marvin Williams (knee) also out of the lineup, the Hornets will need plenty out of their other forwards and wings. If Batum is out, it'll be Jeremy Lamb starting because Clifford wants to keep Belinelli off the bench. Belinelli is still the preferred play tonight. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 2:26 pm
  • Troy Daniels questionable for Saturday
Troy Daniels (left groin) is questionable to play against the Heat on Saturday.

Advice: He started for the second time in a row on Friday, but it did not go well in his 19 minutes. If Daniels doesn't play, Troy Williams would be a good bet to start while Andrew Harrison could wind up getting 40 minutes tonight. Daniels has no fantasy value right now. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 11:04 am
  • Nicolas Batum (eye) questionable for Saturday
Nicolas Batum (corneal abrasion) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Knicks.

Advice: The injury to Batum wasn't noticeable in Friday night's loss to the Knicks. Batum played a game-high 45 minutes and just missed a triple-double (18 points, nine rebounds and nine assists). Nonetheless, being downgraded to questionable means there is at least a 50 percent chance he doesn't play on Saturday. Stay tuned for an official update. If Batum misses the game, Marco Belinelli would see a big increase in minutes. Belinelli is averaging 16.8 points 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 3-pointers off the bench over the Hornets last four games Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 10:22 am
  • Joel Embiid will play Sunday and rest Monday
Joel Embiid will play Sunday vs. the Cavs on a 24-minute restriction, and is then expected to rest on Monday in Toronto.

Advice: As we know, Embiid is more than capable of putting up monster numbers in just 24 minutes of action, which makes him a viable DFS option on Sunday. The Sixers then play the Raptors the following night in Toronto, but Embiid is not scheduled to travel with the team, as Philly plans to keep Embiid from playing in back-to-backs for the foreseeable future. Rotoworld.com Nov 26, 10:03 am
  • Brandon Ingram shoots 3-of-18 in loss
Brandon Ingram shot just 3-of-18 from the field for eight points in Friday's loss to the Warriors.

Advice: Ingram made his second straight start with Julius Randle (hip) out, but couldn't build on his 16-point effort from Wednesday. The rookie did salvage his fantasy line with nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 39 minutes, but he missed all four of his triples. If the Lakers are missing Randle and Nick Young (toe) again on Sunday vs. the Hawks, Ingram will be a decent streaming option based on his workload alone. Rotoworld.com Nov 25, 11:37 pm
  • Jordan Clarkson drops 20 w/ 4 treys, 5 steals
Jordan Clarkson started in place of Nick Young (toe) and went off for 20 points, two rebounds, five steals and four treys in 38 minutes in a 190-85 loss to the Warriors on Friday.

Advice: His season-high for minutes was 31 prior to Friday, but the Lakers needed him to step up with both Nick Young (toe) and D'Angelo Russell (knee) out. Clarkson shot 6-of-15 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line, and he's looking at another heavy workload on Sunday vs. the Hawks -- Young's status is still up in the air and Russell is out for a couple weeks. He will be a popular target in DFS. Rotoworld.com Nov 25, 11:33 pm
  • JaMychal Green scores 14 points
JaMychal Green scored 14 points with six rebounds and one assist during a 90-81 loss to the Heat on Friday.

Advice: He's starting to show some signs of life in his last four, averaging 13.8 points, 8.3 boards, 0.8 blocks and 0.3 treys on 67.9 percent from the field and 84.2 percent from the line. Green has sixth-round value in that span, so maybe he can string games together going forward. If he was dropped, give him a look. Rotoworld.com Nov 25, 10:19 pm
  • Troy Williams gets 20 minutes vs. Heat
Troy Williams played 20 minutes against the Heat on Friday with nine points, six rebounds, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He may have earned more minutes with the starters having a tough time out there tonight. Even in a best-case scenario, Williams is likely only going to be used situational. If for some reason Tony Allen does sit on Saturday, Williams could get over 30 minutes. Rotoworld.com Nov 25, 10:01 pm
  • Troy Daniels gets another start
Troy Daniels scored three points with three rebounds and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes on Friday.

Advice: Troy Williams played pretty well in the second unit, so Daniels may be bumped from the starting lineup. Although, they both might start on Saturday for the aging Tony Allen. Daniels isn't worth owning. Rotoworld.com Nov 25, 9:59 pm
  • Myles Turner scores 16 w/ four blocks
Myles Turner scored 16 points with eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and four blocks on Friday vs. the Nets.

Advice: He only played 23 minutes because the game quickly got out of hand in favor of the Pacers. Turner shot 6-of-11 from the field and hit all four of his free throws, and should have a larger role in the offense with Paul George (back, ankle) already ruled out for the next two games. With that said, Sunday's matchup with the Clippers is a brutal one. Rotoworld.com Nov 25, 9:15 pm
  • Nic Batum scores 18 points in loss
Nicolas Batum scored 18 points during a 113-111 overtime loss to the Knicks on Friday, adding nine rebounds, nine assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 45 minutes.

Advice: That's two solid games in a row with a 13-point game in 40 minutes on Wednesday. The Hornets will have to go smaller while Marvin Williams (knee) is on the shelf and they will also need Batum to take more 3-pointers -- he had seven attempts tonight. His owners will be hoping he can get over 40 percent from the field soon. Rotoworld.com Nov 25, 9:01 pm
