  • Nikola Jokic (ankle) will play on Thursday
Nikola Jokic (right ankle sprain) will play on Thursday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: He was listed as probable and his status was never really in doubt for tonight's game. Make sure the fantasy superstar is deployed in all lineups, even in a tough matchup vs. the Spurs -- Jokic had 19 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and a steal in their previous meeting on Jan. 5. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:38 am
  • Gallinari (ankle) downgraded to questionable
Danilo Gallinari (right ankle) has been downgraded to questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Spurs.

Advice: He was listed as probable on Wednesday, so this is a concern. However, a conflicting report from Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post said Gallinari is a "go." The forward has been on the injury report in his previous three games, but played 30, 40 and 39 minutes in those three contests. If he's unable to play, rookie Juan Hernangomez could see a sizable bump in minutes. Will Barton should also be a workhorse on the wings. Hopefully we'll have more clarity soon. • Quincy Acy will sign another 10-day contract
Quincy Acy will sign another 10-day contract with the Nets.

Advice: Acy has made four brief appearances for the Nets, but he made a decent fist impression with averages of 6.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 7.5 minutes per game. Unless his role grows, fantasy owners can continue to ignore him. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:09 am
  • Kevin Love (back) limited at shootaround
Kevin Love (back) was limited at the morning shootaround and remains questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Suns.

Advice: He was also limited at Wednesday's practice. Love was adamant after leaving Monday's game vs. the Warriors that he wouldn't miss any additional time, but he's shaping up to be a game-time call. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving will be popular DFS plays if Love sits, while Channing Frye would likely draw the start in his absence. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:06 am
  • P.J. Tucker drawing interest around the NBA
P.J. Tucker is reportedly drawing interest from around the league.

Advice: Tucker is on the final year of an affordable deal, as he's on the books for just $5.3 million. With the Suns rebuilding, it's no secret that they will listen to offers for their defensive stopper. According to this report, the Clippers, Bulls, Cavaliers, Timberwolves and Hawks all have interest in Tucker, but Suns GM Ryan McDonough said earlier in the week that he doesn't like taking back late-round picks in deals which could complicate things in trade talks. If the Suns can find a new home for Tucker, T.J. Warren will get a bump and Dragan Bender will have a larger role. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:22 am
  • Joakim Noah (ankle) doubtful for Thursday
Joakim Noah (ankle) is not expected to play on Thursday vs. the Wizards.

Advice: He's going to have an MRI on Thursday morning but it's a safe bet that he will miss his second straight game -- Noah was in so much pain on Wednesday that he didn't even try to warm up after his ankle swelled up on the plane. Kyle O'Quinn started in Noah's place on Wednesday, but flopped in a big way with just two points in 10 minutes. Willy Hernangomez scored 17 points off the bench with 11 rebounds in 20 minutes and Marshall Plumlee also had a nice game with five points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 20 minutes, but this is a situation for fantasy owners to avoid until someone separates themselves from the pack. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:34 am
  • Kristaps Porzingis hopes to play on Saturday
Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) said he's "90 percent ready" and he is hopeful to play on Saturday vs. the Suns.

Advice: He hasn't been officially ruled out for Thursday's game vs. the Wizards, but it sure sounds like he's not planning to play. Porzingis is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Thursday morning, so his plans for Saturday could change too based on the results. "Still not there yet," Porzingis said. "I have to be really careful of how much I do and how explosive the movements are. If not I get a little pinch again in the heel down there where the Achilles starts." We should have an update this afternoon, but Mindaugas Kusminskas looks like a nice short-term pickup and he's coming off a 17-point effort on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:25 am
  • Myles Turner scores 16 points vs. Kings
Myles Turner made 7-of-9 from the field for 16 points with five rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes against the Kings on Wednesday.

Advice: While he didn't do much damage on the glass and only had one block, Turner was really good against DeMarcus Cousins on the defensive end. Turner had seen a sudden spike on the glass this month, averaging 10.3 boards per game in his previous January games -- he only had 6.5 in December. Turner has held steady as a second-round player in standard leagues this season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:59 pm
  • Hello Again: Kevin Durant gets 40 pts vs. OKC
Kevin Durant was phenomenal against his former team on Wednesday, scoring a season-high 40 points (13-of-16 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs) with 12 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and five 3-pointers.

Advice: "It's never going to be a regular game for me," Durant said prior to the game. "I'm sure it will [be emotional]. It's people I've been with for so long and to see them again, yeah, they'll be some emotions. But I've still got a job to do." He did his job at an MVP level tonight, playing with a little extra juice against Russell Westbrook and co., and he continues to hold off all challengers for No. 1 fantasy value in 9-cat leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:38 pm
  • Russell Westbrook gets his 21st triple-double
Russell Westbrook picked up his 21st triple-double of the season on Wednesday with 27 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists, but he also had 10 turnovers in a lopsided loss to the Warriors.

Advice: Westbrook had his triple-double halfway through the third quarter, marking the 22nd time in his career that he's done it in three quarters or less. He made 8-of-23 FGs and 10-of-11 FTs tonight, with two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer, and continues to be a ridiculous fantasy asset on a nightly basis, especially in DFS and points leagues. Tonight's loss drops the Thunder into a virtual tie with Memphis for the No. 7 seed in the West, but they're still six games up on the No. 8 seed Nuggets. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:26 pm
  • Arron Afflalo gets the start on Wednesday
Arron Afflalo made a start against the Pacers on Wednesday with 11 points, one rebound, one assist, one block and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: He could be a bigger part of the rotation again with Rudy Gay (Achilles) likely out for the season. Although, Afflalo was a DNP-CD at times even when Gay missed games last month. His upside is really low anyway, so he's more of a deep-league pickup. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:23 pm
  • Anthony Tolliver likely headed for minutes
Anthony Tolliver came off the bench against the Pacers on Wednesday with five points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes.

Advice: The first time Rudy Gay (Achilles) missed extended time, Tolliver was let loose a bit with 28.7 minutes per game in that 11-game span. He averaged 9.7 points, 4.8 boards, 0.9 assists, 0.5 blocks and 1.9 treys on 50.0 percent from the field. While that percentage may not be sustainable, Tolliver did post ninth-round value in that span, so he's worth a look if you need treys from a power forward. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:20 pm
  • Stanley Johnson earning Van Gundy's praise
Stanley Johnson fared well in 32 minutes of action on Wednesday, making 3-of-5 shots and a 3-pointer to score seven points with four boards, three assists and three steals.

Advice: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) was out again tonight, making it much easier for Johnson to earn minutes, but his recent play should keep him in the rotation going forward. "I think his professionalism, his work ethic, his approach, his conditioning, have all been good lately," said coach Stan Van Gundy. "So I don’t think it’s really a coincidence that he’s playing a lot better." Johnson admitted that playing limited minutes in the NBA has been a difficult adjustment, and even with the improved play he's not worth owning outside of very deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:11 pm
  • Langston Galloway scores 18 points w/ four 3s
Langston Galloway picked up 18 points on 5-of-8 FGs and 4-of-5 FTs on Wednesday, hitting four 3-pointers with three boards, three assists and zero turnovers in 31 minutes.

Advice: Galloway played the entire fourth quarter of the Pelicans' blowout win, so this needs to be viewed in context. He's played 30+ minutes six times all season and isn't a safe fantasy option while guys like Jrue Holiday, Buddy Hield and Tyreke Evans are healthy. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:03 pm
  • Eric Gordon scores 25 points vs. Bucks
Eric Gordon scored 25 points with four rebounds and seven 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: That ankle issue clearly didn't bother him. Gordon had been in a shooting slump this month, making just 31.1 percent from deep in his previous January games. After the game, Gordon passed Stephen Curry for first in the NBA for total 3-pointers -- Curry could pass him back tonight against the Thunder. These sharpshooters will face off on Friday night. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:00 pm
  • Arron Afflalo starts, Garrett Temple to bench
Arron Afflalo will start and Garrett Temple will move to the bench on Wednesday against the Pacers.

Advice: It makes sense because the Kings need Temple to be the backup point guard. Temple's value is fine off the bench while Afflalo can stay on the wire. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:30 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis set to undergo an MRI
Kristaps Porzingis is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his sore left Achilles on Thursday.

Advice: "He’s fine if he’s shooting a jump shot or something, but when he really pushes off hard to drive the ball he’s feeling a little pinch in the heel," said head coach Jeff Hornacek. "They’re giving him treatment and trying to get rid of that but I think that’s the last step and then he can play." Porzingis will miss his fourth consecutive game on Wednesday, but we should get a better idea on his potential return date once the MRI results are released. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:02 pm
  • Eric Gordon will play on Wednesday night
Eric Gordon (ankle) will play on Wednesday night against the Bucks.

Advice: He should be ready to roll after a tweak of his ankle. Gordon continues to make his money when he's not on the court next to James Harden, posting a 33.2 usage rate without The Beard and only a 19.0 with him. He's worth using in standard leagues tonight. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:28 pm
  • Joakim Noah (ankle) will not play Wednesday
Joakim Noah (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Celtics.

Advice: The 31-year-old center also needs an MRI. He has a sore left ankle and didn't go through shootaround. Noah has been surprisingly healthy lately, but he could miss additional time going forward given his track record. With him out, Kyle O'Quinn should get a bump in minutes and the same goes for Willy Hernangomez. If you need a big man, KOQ is worth a pickup. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:03 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari probable to play on Thursday
Danilo Gallinari (right ankle) is probable to play on Thursday against the Spurs on Thursday.

Advice: This is fairly routine for the Nuggets with Gallo also on the injury report on Tuesday. He played 39 minutes and scored 14 points, so he's fairly close to healthy. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:06 pm
  • Jokic, Gallinari probable Thursday vs. SA
Nikola Jokic (right ankle sprain) and Danilo Gallinari (right ankle sprain) are probable to play Thursday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: When they're listed as probable in Denver, that means that they'll get out there, so owners can feel confident plugging these guys in their lineups on Thursday. Jokic has been putting up top-3 numbers in 9-cat leagues over the past two weeks, so he's obviously a must-start guy every time he's active. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:04 pm
  • Eric Gordon not on the injury report
Eric Gordon (ankle) is not on the injury report for Wednesday against the Bucks.

Advice: He looked to tweak his ankle on Tuesday and did have to leave the game. The Rockets didn't have a shootaround today, so we likely won't get another update on him until about 90 minutes before tip. For now, expect him to play in a high-scoring game as the Rockets look to bounce back from a loss on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:38 pm
  • Kevin Love (back) questionable for Thursday
Kevin Love (back) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, and he's being listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Suns.

Advice: Love didn't take any contact during Wednesday's practice, and with a matchup against the 13-28 Suns, the Cavs may want to play it safe with Love in order to have him 100 percent for Saturday's matchup with the Spurs. We should get another update following Thursday morning's shootaround, but it's looking like he'll be headed for a game-time call. If he's out, Channing Frye would likely draw the start, with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving being asked to do a bit more on offense. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:40 am
  • Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) out Wednesday
Updating a previous report, Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) will not play Wednesday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: He's still dealing with soreness in his left Achilles, so the Knicks will continue to take an extremely cautious approach with their franchise big man. Joakim Noah (ankle) did not participate during shootaround and is looking doubtful, so we could see a lot of Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez operating at the five-spot today, with Mindaugas Kusminskas earning another start at the four sans Porzingis. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:35 am
  • Joakim Noah (ankle) questionable Wednesday
Joakim Noah (sore left ankle) did not go through shootaround and he is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) is also questionable to play, and if neither guy is able to give it a go, Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez would likely pick up most of the five-man minutes in New York. O'Quinn is about as hit-or-miss as they come, and as a starter this season he owns averages of 8.5 points, 8.8 boards and 0.8 blocks per game, so he's basically just a streamer if he gets the start. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:14 am
  • Porzingis, Noah questionable for Wednesday
Kristaps Porzingis (sore left Achilles) and Joakim Noah (sore left ankle) are questionable to play Wednesday vs. Boston.

Advice: Jeff Hornacek hinted on Tuesday that he was considering starting Porzingis at center for Wednesday's game, so it could be easier to justify making that move if Noah is forced to the sidelines today. Noah wasn't able to go through shootaround, so he seems a bit closer to doubtful, while Porzingis did participate. We likely won't get another update until Porzingis goes through his pregame routine, but if both guys are out, Kyle O'Quinn could draw the start at center. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:03 am
  • Nikola Jokic racks up 29 points, 15 rebounds
Nikola Jokic stayed red hot on Tuesday, racking up 29 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks and a 3-pointer on 12-of-22 shooting in a 127-121 win over the Lakers.

Advice: The Lakers are pretty bad against opposing bigs and Jokic took advantage tonight. He's absolutely crushing right now, scoring 29 and 30 points in each of his last two games, and averaging 25 points, 11.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 3-pointers over his last five games, while shooting a ridiculous 65 percent from the floor and 76 percent from the line. He might be the most underrated fantasy player in the land right now. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:59 pm
  • Eric Gordon has one of those nights in loss
Eric Gordon hit just 3-of-17 shots and 1-of-10 3-pointers for seven points, one rebound and one assist in Tuesday's 109-103 loss to the Heat.

Advice: Ouch. He left the game briefly to have either his ankle or toe re-taped, but never got into a groove tonight. And with Ryan Anderson out with the flu, the Rockets were looking for him to step up. Hopefully his re-taping issue is not a problem going forward and we expect him to bounce back on Wednesday against the Bucks. That is a back-to-back situation and coach Mike D'Antoni said after the game he's a little worried about whether Gordon will be ready to bounce back. Watch for news on Gordon on Wednesday, just in case. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:10 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari and Will Barton will play
Danilo Gallinari (ankle) and Will Barton (illness) will play on Tuesday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Both players were listed as probable, but they are ready to roll in a favorable matchup vs. the Lakers. Get them active and check back after the game for an update. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:18 pm
  • Eric Gordon leaves, then returns for Rockets
Eric Gordon suffered a lower right leg injury of some sort on Tuesday and went to the locker room, but returned a short time later.

Advice: He likely either aggravated his toe injury or suffered a sprained ankle, but whatever the case, he had it taped back up and is back in the game. He's having a tough night, currently sitting on seven points on 3-of-11 shooting. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:09 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis could return Wednesday
Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) could get back to the court for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.

Advice: Head coach Jeff Hornacek also hinted that he'd like to start Porzingis at center with Carmelo Anthony moving to the four-spot, a move that would result in Joakim Noah going to the bench, and that demotion likely wouldn't go over very well with the underperforming 31-year-old center who is due $17 million this season. The losses in New York have been piling up as of late, so Hornacek needs to make some changes, even if it upsets the veterans. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:15 pm
  • Gallinari (ankle) probable for Wednesday
Danilo Gallinari (left ankle soreness) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Gallinari has been battling a nagging ankle injury for over a week now, but it has not limited his playing time. In fact, Gallo played a game-high 40 minutes in Monday's win over the Magic. Don't hesitate to insert Gallinari in your starting lineup as usual. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:04 am
  • Jokic leads offensive revival in Denver
The Nuggets have been one of the NBA's most efficient and effective offenses since sticking with Nikola Jokic as the team's starting center.

Advice: Over the last month, the Nuggets are top-10 in the league in field goals made, field goal accuracy, 3-point accuracy, 3-point field goals made. Jokic has been the centerpiece of the offense, and the engine driving them forward. Over his last 14 games, Jokic is averaging 19.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists. He's been top-15 overall fantasy producer over this stretch. The sky is the limit for this kid over the second half of the season Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:31 am
  • Russell Westbrook scores 24 points in loss
Russell Westbrook scored 24 points on 7-of-19 shooting with five rebounds, four assists, two steals, two triples and four turnovers in Monday's blowout loss to the Clippers.

Advice: It's amazing that a line like this can actually be called an off night, but that's how good Westy has been this season. He's still averaging a triple-double on the year, so his owners have nothing to complain about. He gets a matchup with Kevin Durant and the Warriors on Wednesday, but he struggled in their first meeting with 20 points on 4-of-15 shooting. He will still be a recommended DFS target for obvious reasons. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:35 pm
  • P.J. Tucker hauls in season-high 13 boards
P.J. Tucker tied his season high with 13 rebounds and added eight points and two steals in 27 minutes on Monday.

Advice: Tucker is averaging just 6.2 points over his last five games, but also 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 29 minutes a game. He doesn't hit threes, hand out assists or block shots, and with his shaky field goal percentage and lack of scoring, is a borderline player to target in fantasy leagues. Chances are you can do better off your waiver wire. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:55 pm
  • Kevin Love (back) won't miss additional time
Kevin Love (back) said that he won't miss any additional time.

Advice: He said his back tightened up on him at Sunday's practice and it flared up when he bumped into Zaza Pachulia in the second quarter. Love did not return to the game after halftime, but the Cavs were likely being cautious due to the lopsided score. Expect Love to play on Thursday vs. the Suns. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:50 pm
  • Kevin Durant scores 21 on 9-of-16 FGs
Kevin Durant scored 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting in Monday's win over the Cavaliers.

Advice: Durant had three blocks on the night including a massive rejection on a LeBron James dunk attempt (link below). He added six rebounds, five assists, two steals and three triples, but only played 29 minutes in the blowout win. Durant should be a popular DFS target on Wednesday vs. Russell Westbrook and the Thunder. The last time those two teams met, Durant had 39 points on 15-of-24 shooting. Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:50 pm
  • Kevin Love (back) will not return Monday
Kevin Love (back) will not return for the second half of Monday's game vs. the Warriors.

Advice: He is dealing with lower back soreness, but the lopsided score probably has a lot to do with their decision to hold him out -- the Warriors are up by 29 points at halftime. Kyle Korver started the second half in Love's place, but we should see more minutes from Channing Frye as well. Love finished with three points on 1-of-6 shooting with three rebounds and one assist. Rotoworld.com Monday, 6:28 pm
  • Nikola Jokic pours in career-high 30 points
Nikola Jokic was unstoppable in the Nuggets blowout victory over Orlando Monday night, scoring a career-high 30 points to go along with 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals and a 3-pointer.

Advice: Jokic joins Carmelo Anthony as just the second Nugget to tally at least 30 points, 10 boards, five assists and three steals in a single game over the last 25 years. However, this performance isn't a complete surprise because, despite playing through a nagging wrist injury that may require offseason surgery, Jokic has been an absolute beast of late. He is now averaging 21.6 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists over the Nuggets last seven games. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:32 pm
  • Myles Turner scores 18 w/ four blocks
Myles Turner scored 18 points with 12 rebounds, four blocks and one assist in Monday's win over the Pelicans.

Advice: Turner held his own against Anthony Davis and turned in one of the best lines of the night so far, but he did shoot just 7-of-17 from the field and 3-of-6 from the line. Turner was shooting 80.9 percent from the line prior to Monday, so cut him some slack this time around. This was Turner's third game of the season with 18+ points, 12+ rebounds and 4+ blocks, second to only Anthony Davis (6) and Hassan Whiteside (5). Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:26 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari (ankle) will start on Monday
Danilo Gallinari (left ankle soreness) will start Monday vs. the Magic.

Advice: He's been playing through the sore ankle over the past few games, and his production has been fine, so owners shouldn't hesitate to get him active for a matchup against the third-worst team in the league at defending the small forward position. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:36 pm
  • Joakim Noah scores seven points in loss
Joakim Noah scored seven points with 17 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks in 33 minutes against the Hawks on Monday.

Advice: This comes on the second half of a back-to-back set, which is way more playing time than he's played previously with 21.8 minutes per game on no rest. Noah will likely see a dip in playing time at some point for a number of reasons, so he's only worth a look in 14-team leagues with his recent solid play. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:06 pm
  • Update: Kristaps Porzingis won't play Monday
Updating a previous report, Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) will not play on Monday vs. the Hawks.

Advice: He was supposed to warm up and was considered a game-time call after going through shootaround, but the Knicks are ruling him out well before tip-off which is a bit concerning. This will now be his third game in a row on the shelf and his sixth missed game of the season due to his lingering Achilles issue. The Knicks were contemplating starting Porzingis at the five in place of Joakim Noah if he was cleared, so it's going to be interesting to see which direction they go. Mindaugas Kuzminskas is a candidate to see a sizable workload with Lance Thomas (face) also out. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:48 am
  • Kristaps Porzingis is a game-time call Monday
Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) is a game-time call on Monday vs. the Hawks.

Advice: Porzingis said he felt good during the morning shootaround, but he will see how his Achilles responds in the pre-game warmups before making a final decision. It sounds like has a great chance to play vs. the Hawks and it's worth noting that Porzingis was previously targeting this game for his return. With Lance Thomas (orbital fracture) out, Mindaugas Kuzminskas will be asked to take on a larger role if KP can't play. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:24 am
  • Russell Westbrook triple-doubles vs. Kings
Russell Westbrook scored 36 points, with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, four steals and four 3-pointers in Sunday’s 122-118 victory over the Kings.

Advice: He shot the ball well today, hitting 11-of-21 field goals and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, while recording his 20th triple-double of the season. He does have a tendency to turn the ball over a lot, but makes up for it by stuffing the stat sheet on a nightly basis. He remains the league’s leader with a 41.1 percent usage rate. The Thunder are 16-4 whenever Westbrook has triple-doubled this season. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:52 pm
  • Anthony Tolliver plays 31 minutes vs. OKC
Anthony Tolliver scored 10 points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Thunder on Sunday.

Advice: Tolliver started in his fourth consecutive game tonight and has played over 30 minutes in each of his starts. During that stretch, he is averaging 33.3 minutes, 12.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.3 treys per game. Coach Dave Joerger likes to mix it up with his starting five, so at any moment Tolliver could head back to his bench role. However, until that happens, he is worth considering in deeper leagues for fantasy owners in need of 3-pointers and steals. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:27 pm
  • Quincy Acy plays 20 minutes vs. Rockets
Quincy Acy played 20 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Rockets, finishing with seven points, four boards, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Acy is a combined 3-of-4 from deep since joining the Nets on Jan. 10, but perimeter shooting isn't a facet of his game we expect to see with regularity. He was also averaging just 3.0 minutes in his previous two appearances for Brooklyn, with a DNP-CD to his credit, and there's no reason to consider him in fantasy. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:26 pm
  • Eric Gordon scores game-high 24 points Sunday
Eric Gordon lit up the Nets on Sunday for a game-high 24 points, making 9-of-14 shots with four 3-pointers in 28 minutes of action.

Advice: Gordon added three boards, three assists and just one turnover, and his recent toe injury isn't a concern. The Rockets' perimeter-happy offense has enabled him to drained a whopping 3.7 triples per game this season, which has anchored his mid-round fantasy value. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:06 pm
  • Nikola Jokic still dealing w/ left wrist pain
Nikola Jokic still doesn't have full range of motion in his left wrist, he continues to play through pain, and it's possible that he will need surgery after the season.

Advice: Jokic shed his wrist brace for Thursday's game and plans to play without it again on Monday, and the good news is that there's no suggestion of more DNPs. "I cannot go to push-up position," Jokic said. "[Doctors] said they could [perform surgery], but it wasn’t 100 percent that it would feel better." This isn't a comforting update for Jokic's owners, but he's been on fire lately and all signs point to him playing through his discomfort for the rest of the season. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 3:17 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari (ankle) probable for Monday
Danilo Gallinari (left ankle soreness) is probable to play Monday vs. the Magic.

Advice: Gallinari has been dealing with some ankle soreness over the past few games, but the issue hasn't actually forced him to miss any time, so he should be fine for Monday night. Owners can expect to get another update following Monday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 12:01 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) out Sunday
Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) will not play on Sunday vs. the Raptors as expected.

Advice: He will miss his second game in a row and his fifth total game of the season with his lingering Achilles issue. Porzingis simply needs rest to get right and the Knicks obviously want to be cautious, but he did say that he was hopeful to play on Monday vs. the Hawks. Lance Thomas could draw another start, but he has very little upside. Mindaugas Kuzminskas scored 19 points off the bench in his last outing and is worth a look as a punt in DFS, while Carmelo Anthony gets a sizable usage bump with Porzingis on the shelf. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 10:33 am
  • P.J. Tucker scores six points
P.J. Tucker scored six points with five rebounds, two assists, four steals and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes against the Spurs on Saturday.

Advice: He did get the business from Kawhi Leonard for most of this game, but Tucker came up big late to get the big win. He'll have some low-end value while the Suns are technically in playoff contention, but he's only a guy on deep-league radars. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:03 pm
  • Porzingis (Achilles) unlikely to play Sunday
Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) told reporters that he "probably" won't play Sunday afternoon in Toronto.

Advice: Things are trending in the wrong direction for Porzingis, who has missed four of the Knicks last eight games. Achilles injuries can be tricky and typically only get better with rest. The Knicks have to think long-term with their prized 21-year phenom, and will likely err on the side of caution. Expect Lance Thomas to start on Sunday, with Mindaugas Kuzminskas coming off the bench. Kuz, fresh off a career-high 19 points, is the preferable fantasy option. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:07 am
  • Porzingis (Achilles) questionable for Sunday
Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Raptors.

Advice: Coach Jeff Hornacek said Porzingis would be held out of practice on Saturday, so listing KP as questionable is certainly not surprising. We likely won't have true clarity on this situation until Sunday morning. It is also worth noting that the Knicks play the second game of a back-to-back on Monday afternoon and 11 games over the next 18 days. Yes, the Knicks want to win games, but New York also needs to be careful with their franchise cornerstone. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:27 am
  • Joakim Noah playing his best ball of season
Joakim Noah has been hampered by a sore shoulder over the last 10 days, but is still playing his best basketball of the season.

Advice: In the 11 games the Knicks have played since Christmas, Noah is averaging 11.1 rebounds and 8.0 points (on 57.4 percent shooting). And despite dealing with a nagging shoulder issue, Noah feels there is still plenty of room left for improvement. "I feel like I can still do better," Noah said. "I feel like there’s another level that I want to get to and have to keep pushing and getting better." Noah will likely see more minutes if Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) continues to miss time. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:59 am
  • Stanley Johnson plays 26 minutes in loss
Stanley Johnson played 26 minutes against the Jazz on Friday and scored 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting.

Advice: The second-year forward added two triples and one steal. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) was out and Johnson was a candidate to start after logging 37 minutes in his previous outing, but the Pistons rolled with Aron Baynes to match up Utah's size up front. With that said, don't be surprised if Johnson starts on Sunday vs. the Lakers if KCP is out again. Johnson is only on the radar in very deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:36 pm
  • Eric Gordon returns, looks rusty
Eric Gordon scored 13 points in his return to the lineup on Friday, adding one rebound, one assist and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: The left big toe sprain didn't hinder his playing time, playing just above his 30.6 minutes per game average. Gordon goes from a tough matchup tonight to a dream matchup on Sunday against the Nets. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:18 pm
  • Russell Westbrook drops 19th triple-double
Russell Westbrook dropped his 19th triple-double of the season during a 96-86 loss to the Wolves on Friday, scoring 21 points with 11 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: This was actually a brutal game for him, making just 7-of-23 from the field and turning it over 10 times to give him the bad quad-double. Westbrook was asked about turning in his 19th triple-double to set a record for the most in a season since the merger. "It don't mean [expletive]. We lost," Westbrook said. For what it's worth, the Thunder are 15-4 when Westy drops a triple-double this season. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:52 pm
  • Eric Gordon wants to test toe before game
Eric Gordon has been cleared to play Friday against Memphis, but said he still wants to give it one more test before the game to be sure.

Advice: Gordon is still likely to play on Friday, but it's not a certainty. "I just started running a little bit for the first time (Thursday). It's still painful a little bit, but we'll see how it goes before the game, try to get ready for the game," Gordon said after shootaround. "You got to play with some kind of pain. You have to deal with it." Check back prior to tip-off, as we will pass along offical word once it is announced. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:33 am
  • Eric Gordon (toe) will play Friday night
Eric Gordon (left big toe sprain) is available to play Friday night vs. the Grizzlies.

Advice: Gordon has missed each of the Rockets last two games due to the toe injury, which allowed Steph Curry to pass him for the league lead in made 3-pointers. However, Gordon, who is a strong early-season candidate for the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award, will look to get back on track Friday night. Gordon is averaging 17.8 points and 3.7 3-pointers per game this season. Get him back in your starting lineups. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:44 am
  • Joakim Noah dealing with a sore shoulder
Joakim Noah is dealing with discomfort in his sore right shoulder.

Advice: Noah has been wincing in pain on occasions during games and often has his shoulder wrapped in ice when he's on the bench. "He’s had it looked at," coach Jeff Hornacek said. "There’s just some little stuff in there. When he lifts his arm in one certain way he feels it catch." Asked about his shoulder, Noah said, "It’s fine." Although his offensive output has been frustratingly inconsistent, Noah is averaging 11.1 rebounds over the Knicks last 11 games. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:55 am
  • Nikola Jokic returned to action on Thursday January 12. Rotoworld.com Friday, 12:37 am
  • Stanley Johnson plays 37 minutes vs. Warriors
Stanley Johnson scored eight points with three assists, two rebounds, one block and two 3-pointers in a season-high 37 minutes on Thursday against the Warriors.

Advice: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) was injured during the game and did not return, which led to heavy minutes for Johnson. Darrun Hilliard also played 26 minutes, scoring six points with three assists and one rebound. If KCP misses any time with the injury, both Johnson and Hilliard will see a boost in minutes, with Johnson likely getting the starts. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:24 pm
  • Kevin Durant scores 25 on 10-of-15 shooting
Kevin Durant hit 10-of-15 shots and three 3-pointers for 25 points, six rebounds, nine assists and a steal in Thursday's blowout 127-107 win over the Pistons.

Advice: He stayed in the game for a lot of fourth-quarter garbage time when Stephen Curry and most other starters were resting, giving him a nice boost in DFS. This was one of Durant's most efficient games of the season, but then again, it's also just a good example of what he does. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:11 pm
  • Joakim Noah double-doubles vs. Bulls
Joakim Noah scored 12 points with 15 rebounds, one assist and one block in 27 minutes on Thursday night against Chicago.

Advice: Noah came out to play vs. his former team, finishing one rebound shy of tying his season high of 16 boards in a game. He is playing through a sore shoulder, but it did not appear to be affecting him in tonight’s matchup. His minutes are inconsistent, but Noah is a good source of rebounds and can help fantasy owners who are struggling in that category. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:59 pm
  • Langston Galloway scores one point
Langston Galloway scored one point with four rebounds and one turnover in 17 minutes against the Nets on Thursday.

Advice: It was a bad, bad game. He had one of the worst inbounds passes of the season and also missed all six shots from the field. With Tyreke Evans looking good, Galloway should be trending down. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:47 pm
  • Nikola Jokic dominates in win over Pacers
Nikola Jokic put on another one of his clinics in London during a 140-112 win over the Pacers on Thursday, scoring 22 points with 10 rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He continues to sizzle as a passer with plenty of highlight-reel dimes and also has at least five in four straight. What really has made Jokic elite lately has been his remarkable 72.3 true shooting percentage in his last 13. He's posted a MVP Curry-like 64.8 effective field goal percentage on his 64 jumpers in that span to go with an ridiculous 71.9 percent on his shots from within eight feet. In Nikola we trust. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 2:58 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari scores 18 in 30 minutes
Danilo Gallinari scored 18 points in 30 minutes against the Pacers on Thursday, adding two rebounds, three assists and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He made 7-of-11 from the field, didn't go to the line and only turned it over once, so scoring 18 on just 12 possessions is very impressive. Not going to the line today has been a recent trend with each of his last five games all being below his season average of 6.0 attempts per game. Gallinari could be on the trade block and finds himself in a good spot with the Nuggets, so he can be considered a sell-high player. He was questionable with ankle soreness today, but obviously it didn't bother him -- he even dunked an alley-oop today. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 2:49 pm
  • Eric Gordon (toe) listed as probable
Eric Gordon (left big toe sprain) is listed as probable in the game notes for Friday against the Grizzlies.

Advice: He didn't even travel for Wednesday, so getting the probable tag in the game notes doesn't hold too much weight. He should be considered questionable for now and we should have an update on Friday morning. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 12:54 pm
  • Nikola Jokic will play on Thursday
Nikola Jokic (illness) wil play against the Pacers on Thursday night.

Advice: He was sick on Saturday, so he's had plenty of time to get back to 100 percent. When Jokic can avoid foul trouble and the Nuggets are in close games, he has a great chance to get minutes in the mid 30s. Expect a big game in London today. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:36 am
  • Danilo Gallinari will play on Thursday
Danilo Gallinari (ankle) will play against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: He ia only dealing with ankle soreness and is off for the rest of the week, so Gallinari shouldn't be limited as long as there isn't a set back. Coach Mike Malone continues to play Gallo a ton with 35 minutes coming on Saturday. He's a sell-high candidate. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:33 am
  • Nikola Jokic (illness) is expected to play
Nikola Jokic (illness) is still expected to play on Thursday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: This isn't much of an update after he was upgraded to probable on Wednesday. His owners can go ahead and pencil him into active lineups and we'll confirm that the fantasy star is starting this afternoon. Darrell Arthur (leg) will head back to the bench and may not even play. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:47 am
  • Danilo Gallinari (ankle) is expected to play
Danilo Gallinari (ankle soreness) is expected to play on Thursday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: This is the only game of the week for the Nuggets, so there was some concern that he was going to be held out as a precaution. With a couple players on the injury report with an illness including Wilson Chandler, Gallinari should see his normal workload Thursday. We'll confirm that he's in the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:25 am
  • Kevin Love scores 17 points in loss
Kevin Love made 5-of-15 from the field for 17 points with eight rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday.

Advice: He gave everyone a quick scare when he went to the locker room due to a left leg injury. He was only in the locker room for about a minute before he went on a bike, which he does quite often. Love has shaken his durability concerns from earlier in his career, but there's always a chance he gets a night off on the road. The Cavs don't have a road game in a back-to-back until Jan. 29. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:05 pm
  • Russell Westbrook drops 18th triple-double
Russell Westbrook turned in his 18th triple-double on the season during a 103-95 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday, scoring 24 points with 13 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, one block and six turnovers in 37 minutes.

Advice: The Grizzlies actually defended him well in this game with Westbrook only making 6-of-19 from the field. That's not too surprising after they help him assists-less in their last game -- he was also ejected in the second half. This was also the first time he's had a triple-double against the Grizzlies in a regular season game -- the Grizzlies have 10 as a franchise and Westy has three playoff triple-doubles in his career. Westbrook should have a field day against the Wolves on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:02 pm
  • Kevin Love returns to the game vs. Blazers
Kevin Love returned to the game on Wednesday in the second quarter.

Advice: He didn't go into the locker room for very long, so we're expecting him to be fine. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:22 pm
  • Kevin Love (left leg) to the locker room
Kevin Love (left leg) went to the locker room at the end of the first quarter on Wednesday.

Advice: He stepped on Al-Farouq Aminu's foot and looked to grab his left calf. Love was down for about two minutes before he went to the bench for about 45 seconds. He didn't have much of a limp and returned from the locker room to ride a bike. This seems minor for now. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:09 pm
  • Joakim Noah logs 20 minutes vs. Philly
Joakim Noah finished Wednesday's game with seven points (3-of-6 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds, two steals, one block and zero turnovers in 20 minutes of action.

Advice: Noah had a wrap on his right shoulder when he wasn't playing, and admitted recently that the surgically-repaired shoulder is "always there" as a background concern. The slumping Knicks recently held a team meeting to discuss their issues, and they may need to meet a few more times after tonight's disastrous 98-97 loss to the Sixers. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:06 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari (ankle) questionable vs. IND
Danilo Gallinari (ankle soreness) is being listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Pacers in London.

Advice: Gallinari may have some added incentive to play on the main stage in London, and with his injury simply being ankle soreness, he may just gut it out. It is, however, worth noting that a serious right ankle injury prematurely ended Gallinari's 2015-16 campaign, although this is the first time this season that we're hearing of any ankle issues, and it's currently unclear which ankle is the sore one. We should have a better idea on Gallinari's status following Thursday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:39 am
  • Anthony Tolliver scores 17 w/ three triples
Anthony Tolliver scored 17 points with three triples, four rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes against the Pistons on Tuesday.

Advice: The 31-year-old sharpshooter took seven attempts from deep and finished 4-of-11 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line. At first glance this looks like a fluke, but Tolliver actually had 16 points and three more triples in his previous outing. He's played 36 and 32 minutes in those two games, so feel free to give him a glance if you strictly need a couple 3-pointers. Just keep in mind that he's still Anthony Tolliver. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:39 pm
  • Kevin Durant scores 28 without an assist
Kevin Durant hit 10-of-21 shots and three 3-pointers for 28 points, eight rebounds, zero assists, one steals and two blocks in Tuesday's 107-95 win over the Heat.

Advice: This was his first game of the season without an assist, which was a complete fluke. Draymond Green had 13 points, nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in 36 minutes, as the Warriors easily handled the short-handed Heat tonight. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:19 pm
  • Quincy Acy scores four points in debut
Quincy Acy made his debut for the Nets on Tuesday vs. the Hawks and scored four points with one rebound and a triple in just one minute.

Advice: He made a strong first impression, but we don't see playing many minutes when Trevor Booker (hip) returns on Thursday vs. the Pelicans. Leave Acy on the wire. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:39 pm
  • Quincy Acy will be available to play Tuesday
Quincy Acy will be available to make his Brooklyn debut Tuesday vs. Atlanta.

Advice: Acy will provide the Nets with some depth at the power forward position during his 10-day contract, but as long as Trevor Booker is starting, it's unlikely he'll be able to command any fantasy value in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:56 pm
  • Russell Westbrook scores 21 w/ 14 assists
Russell Westbrook scored 24 points on 9-of-18 shooting with 14 assists, nine rebounds, one steal, one triple and three turnovers against the Bulls on Monday.

Advice: Westbrook's 3-point attempts are way up and he attempted a whopping 49 triples in his last four games, hitting them at a 38.7 percent clip. He was just 1-of-7 from deep tonight, but Thunder coach Billy Donovan doesn't seem to mind. "When he gets a couple in a row, I think you have to let him maybe take a couple more that may look highly contested or difficult, because he can make them." Westbrook will look to get some revenge against Memphis on Wednesday after he was ejected in their previous meeting. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:01 pm
  • Joakim Noah says he's getting into a rhythm
Joakim Noah said that he's finally finding his form in New York.

Advice: "I feel like I'm playing better. I feel like I'm starting to get into a better rhythm," Noah said. "It's tough. This team is going through some adversity right now. This is when you find out who plays through it and who doesn't." Noah added that he feels healthy for the most part, but did say that his surgically-repaired shoulder is "always there." He's averaging 8.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 0.8 blocks over his last five games, but his ceiling isn't as high with Kristaps Porzingis healthy again. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 8:17 am
  • Stein: Nets to sign F Quincy Acy
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Nets will sign Quincy Acy to replace Anthony Bennett.

Advice: This is actually a decent landing spot for Acy, as the Nets are thin at power forward behind Trevor Booker because Chris McCullough hasn't really taken the next step in his development. Acy is a solid defender, but he has career averages of 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds and isn't on the fantasy radar just yet. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 8:00 am
  • Anthony Tolliver starts, scores 16 in 32 mins
Anthony Tolliver started Sunday's game and finished with 16 points, five rebounds, two steals and 3-pointers in 32 minutes of action.

Advice: The veteran displaced Matt Barnes tonight, but he's just as likely to head back to the bench in Sacramento's next game. There should be better 3-point specialists on your waiver wire. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 9:53 pm
  • Kevin Durant posts well-rounded line Sunday
Kevin Durant took some heat for a bad shot late in Friday's game, but he atoned on Sunday with 28 points on 9-of-15 FGs and 8-of-9 FTs, adding seven boards and six assists in a win vs. the Kings.

Advice: Durant also had one steal and four blocks in 36 minutes tonight. He's averaging 3.3 blocks in his previous three games and is over 700 blocks for his career, which reflects the versatility that makes him a fantasy luminary. He's been the No. 1 value in 9-cat leagues this season, edging out Giannis Antetokounmpo, James Harden, Anthony Davis and every other fantasy stud. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 9:51 pm
