After struggling with his efficiency to begin the series, the star guard managed to post 43.0/40.6/75.0 shooting splits over the five games.     Anthony Edwards logged 43 minutes in Thursday’s 124-103 loss to the Mavericks, accumulating 28 points (10-of-18 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, and four 3-pointers.

    Advice: Edwards did what he could to extend the Western Conference Finals, but the lack of production from Minnesota’s supporting cast was too much to overcome. Already accepted as one of the NBA’s top young talents, Ant-Man took things to another level this season. He played well enough during the run to the conference finals to be the focus of some “future face of the NBA” chatter, which should only intensify in the years to come. Edwards’ fantasy value moving forward will depend on how much of the playmaking responsibilities he’s asked to shoulder. Mike Conley isn’t getting any younger, and there could come a point where Edwards shifts to the point. That could be what makes him a first-round player in standard leagues. The efficiency levels shown in previous rounds aren't there yet, but Minnesota needed Edwards to get the job done Tuesday, and he did.     Anthony Edwards logged 40 minutes in Tuesday’s 105-100 win over the Mavericks, tallying 29 points (11-of-25 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), 10 rebounds, nine assists, and two 3-pointers.

    Advice: With Minnesota’s season on the line, Edwards was more consistently aggressive than he was in the series’ first three games. While he was responsible for six of the Timberwolves’ 14 turnovers, the approach paid dividends. Edwards finished one assist shy of a triple-double, and the series will shift to Minneapolis for Game 5 on Thursday.   • Myles Turner (back) struggles in Game 4 defeat
    Myles Turner (lower back soreness) shot 2-of-6 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Monday’s 105-102 loss to the Celtics, accumulating eight points, four rebounds, one assist, and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes.

    Advice: In addition to foul trouble, Turner had to deal with a lingering back issue that flared up after he took a shot during the first half of Monday’s game. He made multiple trips back to the locker room to receive treatment, and the Pacers center could not offer much help to his teammates in Game 4. Monday’s defeat is a brutal way for Turner’s season to end, as he reached the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in his career. The Pacers center finished the season ranked just outside the top 50, a bit disappointing given the Yahoo ADP (37.5).     Turner left Monday's Game 4 against the Celtics due to a back injury but was cleared to return for the second half, Tony East of SI.com reports. He finished with eight points (2-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 27 minutes in the loss.

    Advice: Turner's performance indicates that his back injury slowed him down, as he wasn't much of a factor in the 105-102 loss. The Texas product also contended with foul trouble, which limited his ability to be aggressive.     Advice: Despite their season being on the line, the Pacers will not roll the dice with the health of their cornerstone point guard. Head coach Rick Carlisle announced during his pregame availability that the All-Star point guard will not play in Game 4. Ben Sheppard started Game 3 but failed to score, so DFS players can avoid slotting him into their lineups. Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell will be much better choices.     Advice: Haliburton appeared to be trending in the wrong direction leading up to tipoff, and he's since been downgraded to out. T.J. Since the Pacers are trying to avoid elimination Monday, the medical staff will likely continue to monitor Haliburton's status before officially determining his availability, but Ben Sheppard, T.J.
