    • Anthony Edwards limited to 16 points in Game 7 win
      Anthony Edwards shot 6-of-24 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Sunday’s 98-90 win over Denver, finishing with 16 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in 44 minutes.

      Advice: On Sunday, Edwards got off to a brutal start, shooting 1-of-7 from the field in the first half. He was better in the third quarter, but give Ant-Man credit for not letting his offensive struggles impact his defense. He defended Jamal Murray well in the second half, and multiple members of Minnesota’s “supporting cast” stepped up offensively. Backcourt partner Mike Conley added 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes.     • Isaiah Hartenstein goes scoreless in Game 7 loss
      Isaiah Hartenstein missed both of his shot attempts in Sunday’s 130-109 loss to the Pacers, going scoreless with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 30 minutes.

      Advice: The Knicks didn’t count on Hartenstein for consistent scoring, but his production dropped considerably as their second-round series progressed. The 7-footer went scoreless in Game 7 and did not attempt more than three shots in any of the final four games. Give Myles Turner and the Pacers credit for taking away Hartenstein’s beloved floater, and they did a better job of keeping him off the glass after iHart grabbed 17 rebounds in Game 5. Hartenstein earned himself a nice payday once he hits free agency this summer. The question is whether or not the Knicks will offer a contract that is large enough to keep him in the fold. With Mitchell Robinson’s injury history, it may take a lot for the Knicks not to get iHart re-signed. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:26 pm
       
    • Donte DiVincenzo scores 39 in Game 7 defeat
      Donte DiVincenzo shot 11-of-21 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line in Sunday’s 130-109 loss to the Pacers, scoring 39 points with four rebounds, one assist, two steals, and nine 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

      Advice: As the Knicks continued to lose players, DiVincenzo kept firing away. He was outstanding in Game 7, shooting over 50% from the field and scoring 39 points. While DiVincenzo had a few games this postseason in which he struggled, the overall play was excellent. His 2023-24 season was better than anyone imagined, with DiVincenzo progressing from valued reserve to fixture in the Knicks starting lineup. He provided 3rd-round fantasy value after the trade deadline and finished the season just outside the top 60 in 9-cat formats. Expecting that level of production from DiVincenzo in 2024-25 would be a bit much, especially with a healthy Knicks roster. However, he’ll be worth selecting just inside the top 100.       DiVincenzo posted 39 points (11-21 FG, 9-15 3Pt, 8-10 FT), four rebounds, two steals and one assist over 41 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 loss to Indiana in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: DiVincenzo led the way for New York on offense, leading all players in Sunday's winner-take-all game in threes made while setting a record for most threes in a Game 7 in NBA playoff history. As a result, DiVincenzo led all players in scoring, coming up one point shy of reaching the 40-point mark and tying a season-high point total. DiVincenzo had an outstanding series against Indiana, finishing the series averaging 22.7 points over seven contests. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:07 pm

      Gilgeous-Alexander ended Saturday's 117-116 loss to Dallas in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 36 points (14-25 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 4-7 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and two blocks across 43 minutes.

      Advice: Gilgeous-Alexander did everything he could to get the Thunder over the line Saturday, pouring in a game-high 36 points. While he ultimately fell short of his goal, enough can't be said about how good he was this season. The Thunder are just starting their journey, and with so many draft picks to work with, there is an opportunity for them to improve their roster sooner rather than later. Despite the disappointing playoff exit, Gilgeous-Alexander is poised to continue his ascension and will likely be in the MVP discussion again next season. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:01 pm
       
    • Chet Holmgren records 21/3/1/2 line in Game 6 loss
      Chet Holmgren finished Saturday’s Game 6 loss to the Mavericks with 21 points (9-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

      Advice: Despite scoring 21 points, Holmgren’s final game of the season wasn’t his best. More concerning than the 1-of-7 night from three was the rebounding, with the rookie only grabbing three. By comparison, Mavericks rookie Dereck Lively II grabbed 15 by himself. Holmgren’s struggles to rebound prompted Thunder coach Mark Daigneault to go with a bigger lineup down the stretch, with Jaylin Williams (6/2/2/1/1 with one 3-pointer in 18 minutes) joining the rookie in the frontcourt. Overall, Holmgren had an excellent rookie campaign, finishing second to Victor Wembanyama in Rookie of the Year voting and providing top-20 per-game value in 9-cat formats. Based on his Yahoo ADP, Chet was expected by many to be a 4th-round player. Those days are over; he should not get out of the third round in standard league drafts, and that’s being conservative.       Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot 14-of-25 from the field and 4-of-7 from the foul line in Saturday’s 117-116 loss to Dallas, accounting for 36 points, three rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and four 3-pointers in 43 minutes.

      Advice: Gilgeous-Alexander’s foul of PJ Washington on a 3-point attempt proved to be the difference in Game 6, as the Mavericks forward hit two free throws with 2.5 seconds remaining to end the series. That final play should not take away from SGA’s performance throughout the series, as the MVP runner-up was outstanding. As for Gilgeous-Alexander’s fantasy season, he was all that managers hoped he would be. SGA provided top-5 per-game value, which is unlikely to change anytime soon. While Victor Wembanyama is viewed by many as the player who should be selected first in drafts next fall, SGA should be, at worst, a top-5 pick. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:19 pm

      PJ Washington shot 2-of-6 from the field and 3-of-5 from the foul line in Saturday’s win over Oklahoma City, scoring nine points with five rebounds, two assists, and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

      Advice: Scoring-wise, Game 6 was Washington’s worst of the series. However, more will remember the two free throws with 2.5 seconds remaining that clinched the game (and the series) for Dallas. Washington had a good series overall, scoring 21 points or more in Games 2 through 4 and recording three double-doubles. Next will be another difficult matchup, with the Mavericks facing the Nuggets or Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:11 pm

      Hartenstein contributed four points (1-3 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Friday's 116-103 loss to Indiana in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Hartenstein was unable to repeat his heroics from Game 5, grabbing just seven total rebounds in the loss. Coming off an astonishing 12 offensive rebounds, he struggled to have a meaningful impact as the Knicks were simply outclassed. With the series now deadlocked at 3-3, the two teams will face off one final time in Madison Square Garden on Sunday, with the winner moving on to face the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
