      Advice: Porter went just 1-for-6 from the three-point line, continuing a rough series for the sharpshooter. Over the seven-game span, Porter scored fewer than 10 points on five occasions. It was an unfortunate end for Porter after he managed to put together a strong season.     • Michael Porter Jr. goes cold, scores seven points
      Michael Porter Jr. shot 3-of-12 from the field in Sunday’s 98-90 loss to Minnesota, tallying seven points, nine rebounds, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

      Advice: While Jamal Murray (35) and Nikola Jokic (34) combined to score 69 points, no other Nugget scored more than seven in Sunday’s Game 7 defeat. Porter went ice cold, shooting 1-of-6 from beyond the arc and 3-of-12 from the field overall. Sunday night was a disappointing end for a player who provided fantasy managers with a top-75 season in 9-cat formats. Porter exceeded his Yahoo ADP (83.1) while appearing in a career-high 81 regular season games. As long as he stays healthy, MPJ should have a top-75 floor in fantasy basketball next season.     • Kyrie Irving extends closeout record to 14-0
      Kyrie Irving finished Saturday’s 117-116 win over the Thunder with 22 points (9-of-23 FGs), two rebounds, three assists, and four 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

      Advice: As in the series’ first five games, Irving picked up the production after halftime on Saturday. He made seven of his nine field goals in the second half, finishing as one of three Mavericks with at least 22 points. The win pushed Irving’s record in closeout games to 14-0, the best mark in NBA postseason history. The chemistry between him and Luka Doncic has been strong, and the supporting cast has come into its own. Dallas advances to the Western Conference Finals, where they will play Denver or Minnesota.     • Darius Garland struggles in season-ending defeat
      Darius Garland accounted for 11 points (4-of-17 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine assists, and two steals in 43 minutes in Wednesday’s 113-98 loss to the Celtics.

      Advice: Boston eliminated Cleveland in five games, an unsurprising outcome given the Cavaliers’ many injuries. What was incredibly disappointing about Game 5 was Garland’s performance. After scoring 30 points and dishing out seven assists in Game 4, he shot 4-of-17 from the field and missed all four of his 3-point attempts. As with Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, injuries were a significant factor for Garland, as he was limited to 57 regular-season games. While his value in 8-cat formats wasn’t far from his Yahoo ADP (40.3), he failed to crack the top 100 in 9-cat. Selecting Garland within the top 50 of standard league drafts wouldn’t be a bad idea, but fantasy managers can’t be blamed if they decide to look elsewhere next fall.       Porter had six points (2-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 112-97 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Porter managed just six points in the victory, continuing his recent offensive struggles. He has scored fewer than 10 points in three of the past four games, a very different story compared to how he opened the playoffs. Despite his poor shooting, the Nuggets now sit just one win away from another trip to the Western Conference Finals. Look for Porter to turn things around in the near future.       Irving posted nine points (4-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and nine assists in 41 minutes during Monday's 100-96 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: The Mavericks have welcomed the emergence of P.J. Washington in the series against the Thunder, as Kyrie Irving has struggled badly so far. He's failed to score in double digits in two of four games versus OKC and is shooting a mere 35.7 percent from three-point range. Irving needs to take on a bigger role on offense if the Mavericks want to move to the Western Conference Finals, especially considering how banged up Luka Doncic is.     • Kyrie Irving musters up 9/1/9 line in Game 4 loss
      Kyrie Irving struggled on Monday and finished with just nine points (4-of-11 FGs), one rebound and nine assists against the Thunder.

      Advice: Kyrie has been able to put together some spectacular second halves after not doing much in the first half throughout this postseason. However, that wasn’t the case in this game. After entering halftime with four points and seven assists, he didn’t add much after the break. Dallas can’t survive with both Luka Doncic and Irving struggling, which was the case in this game. OKC regained homecourt advantage in this game, which means that Dallas will have to win another game on the road to win this series.       Darius Garland led Cleveland with 30 points (12-of-27 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four triples in a 109-102 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 on Monday.

      Advice: Cleveland had to play this game without Donovan Mitchell, who was sidelined with a calf injury. That meant that Garland was going to be asked to do a lot more, and he rose to the occasion. It wasn’t enough for them to get the win, but he had by far his best game of this postseason. If Mitchell remains sidelined for Game 5 on Wednesday, Garland will once again have to orchestrate Cleveland’s offense like he did in this game. This has been a disappointing playoff run for Garland, but this was an encouraging performance that showed that he can still shine when he needs to. Rotoworld Monday, 7:24 pm

      Advice: Garland led all Cavaliers in scoring while connecting on a quartet of threes, handing out a team-high-tying assist total and adding a pair of steals in a well-rounded Game 4 against the Celtics. Garland, playing with more weight on his shoulders to lead the short-handed Cavaliers offensively, posted his highest scoring total of the postseason thus far.
